3:1
እግዚኦ፡ ዘትነግሥ፡ ለኵሉ፡ አምላከ፡ እስራኤል፡ ነፍስ፡ ኅዝንት፡ ወመንፈስ፡ ትክዝት፡ ጸርሐት፡ ኀቤከ።
全能的上主，以色列的天主啊，那在困苦中的人、那憂悶的靈，向你呼求。
O Lord Almighty, you God of Israel, the soul in anguish, the troubled spirit, cries to you.
3:2
ስማዕ፡ እግዚኦ፡ ወተሠሀል፡ እስመ፡ አበስነ፡ ቅድሜከ።
上主啊，求你垂聽，求你憐憫，因為你是慈悲的天主；求你憐憫我們，因為我們得罪了你。
Hear, O Lord, and have mercy; for you are a merciful God: yes, have mercy upon us, because we have sinned before you.
3:3
እስመ፡ አንተ፡ ዘትነብር፡ ለዓለም፡ ወንሕነሰ፡ ንትሐጐል፡ ለዝሉፉ።
因為你永遠坐著為王，我們卻永遠消亡。
For you sit as king forever, and we perish evermore.
3:4
እግዚኦ፡ ዘትነግሥ፡ ለኵሉ፡ አምላከ፡ እስራኤል፡ ስማዕ፡ ይእዜ፡ ጸሎተ፡ ሙታን፡ እስራኤል፡ ወዘደቂቆሙ፡ እለ፡ ጌገዩ፡ በቅድሜከ፡ ወኢሰምዑ፡ ቃለ፡ አምላኮሙ፡ ወተለወነ፡ እኩይ።
全能的上主，以色列的天主啊，求你垂聽以色列已死之人，以及那些在你面前犯罪、不肯聽從上主他們天主聲音之人子孫的禱告；因此，這些災禍便緊隨著我們。
O Lord Almighty, you God of Israel, hear now the prayer of the dead Israelites, and of the children of them which were sinners before you, that didn’t listen to the voice of you their God: for the which cause these plagues clave to us.
3:5
ኢትዘከርኒ፡ ኀጢአተ፡ አበዊነ፡ ተዘከር፡ እዴከ፡ ወስመከ፡ በዝ፡ መዋዕል።
求你不要記念我們祖先的罪孽，但求你在此時記念你的大能和你的名。
Remember not the iniquities of our fathers: but remember your power and your name now at this time.
3:6
እስመ፡ አንተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ አምላክነ፡ ወንሴብሐከ፡ እግዚኦ።
因為你是上主我們的天主，上主啊，我們要讚美你。
For you are the Lord our God, and you, O Lord, will we praise.
3:7
እስመ፡ በእንተ፡ ዝንቱ፡ ወደይከ፡ ፍርህተከ፡ ውስተ፡ ልብነ፡ ከመ፡ ንጸውዕ፡ ስመከ፡ ወንሰብሕከ፡ በኀበ፡ አፍለሱነ።
因為為此緣故，你把敬畏你的心放在我們心中，叫我們呼求你的名。我們要在被擄之地讚美你，因為我們已從心中除去我們祖先在你面前犯罪所行的一切不義。
For for this cause you have put your fear in our hearts, to the intent that we should call upon your name: and we will praise you in our captivity, for we have called to mind all the iniquity of our fathers, that sinned before you.
3:8
ወናሁ፡ ንሕነ፡ ይእዜ፡ ውስተ፡ ፄዋዌ፡ ኀበ፡ ዘሮከነ፡ ለኀሣር፡ ወለመርገም፡ ወለፍዳ፡ በከመ፡ ኵሉ፡ እከዮሙ፡ ለአበዊነ፡ እለ፡ ርኅቁ፡ እምኔከ፡ እግዚኦ፡ አምላክነ።
看，我們今日仍在被擄之地，就是你把我們分散所到之處，照我們祖先一切的不義，作了羞辱、咒詛和受罰的對象；我們的祖先曾離棄上主我們的天主。
Behold, we are yet this day in our captivity, where you have scattered us, for a reproach and a curse, and to be subject to penalty, according to all the iniquities of our fathers, which departed from the Lord our God.
3:9
ስማዕ፡ እስራኤል፡ ትእዛዘ፡ ሕይወት፡ ወአጽምዕ፡ ምክረ፡ ጥበብ።
以色列啊，你要聽生命的誡命；要側耳聆聽，好明白智慧。
Hear, O Israel, the commandments of life: give ear to understand wisdom.
3:10
ምንት፡ ውእቱ፡ እስራኤል፡ ወለምንት፡ ውስተ፡ ብሔረ፡ ፀር፡ ሀሎ።
以色列啊，這是怎麼一回事？你怎麼竟在仇敵之地，在異邦衰老，
How is it, O Israel, that you are in your enemies’ land, that you have become old in a strange country, that you are defiled with the dead,
3:11
ወበልየ፡ በብሔረ፡ ነኪር፡ ወረኵሰ፡ ምስለ፡ አብድንት፡ ወተኈለቈ፡ ምስለ፡ እለ፡ ውስተ፡ ሲኦል።
與死人同被玷污，被算在那些下到陰府的人中間？
that you are counted with those who go down into the grave?
3:12
ወኀደገ፡ ነቅዐ፡ ሕይወት።
你竟離棄了智慧的泉源。
You have forsaken the fountain of wisdom.
3:13
ሶበሁ፡ ሖርከ፡ ፍኖተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ እምነበርከ፡ ለዓለም፡ በሰላም።
你若行走天主的道路，必能永遠安居樂業。
For if you had walked in the way of God, you should have dwelled in peace forever.
3:14
ተመሀር፡ አይቴ፡ ውእቱ፡ ጥበብ፡ ወአይቴ፡ ውእቱ፡ ኀይል፡ አይቴ፡ ምክር፡ ወአእምሮ፡ ወአይቴ፡ ውእቱ፡ ሐይው፡ ለነዋኅ፡ መዋእል፡ ወአይቴ፡ ውእቱ፡ ብርሃነ፡ አዕይንት፡ ወሰላም።
你要學習智慧在哪裏、力量在哪裏、聰明在哪裏，好同時知道長壽和生命在哪裏，眼目的光明和平安又在哪裏。
Learn where is wisdom, where is strength, where is understanding; that you may know also where is length of days, and life, where is the light of the eyes, and peace.
3:15
መኑ፡ ረከበ፡ ብሔራ፡ ወመኑ፡ ቦአ፡ ውስተ፡ መዛግብቲሃ።
誰找到了智慧的所在？誰進入了她的寶庫？
Who has found out her place? and who has come into her treasuries?
3:16
አይቴ፡ እሙንቱ፡ መላእክተ፡ አሕዛብ፡ እለ፡ ቀነይዎሙ፡ ለአራዊተ፡ ገዳም።
萬民的首領，那些轄制地上走獸的人，如今在哪裏呢？
Where are the princes of the heathen, and such as ruled the beasts that are upon the earth;
3:17
ወይትዋነይዎሙ፡ አዕዋፈ፡ ሰማይ፡ ወእለ፡ ይዘግቡ፡ ብሩረ፡ ወወርቀ፡ ዘቦቱ፡ ይትአመኑ፡ ሰብእ፡ ወአልቦኑ፡ እንከ፡ ወሰን፡ ለአጥርዮቶሙ።
那些玩弄空中飛鳥、積蓄金銀、為人所倚靠、財富多得無窮的人，如今在哪裏呢？
those who had their pastime with the fowls of the air, and those who hoarded up silver and gold, wherein men trust; and of whose getting there is no end?
3:18
እስመ፡ እለ፡ ይነድቁ፡ ብሩረ፡ ይተግሁ፡ ወአልቦ፡ እከ፡ ፈጠራ፡ ለግብሮሙ።
那些精工製造銀器、勞心焦慮、作品深奧難測的人，
For those who wrought in silver, and were so careful, and whose works are past finding out,
3:19
ኀልቁ፡ ወወረዱ፡ ሲኦለ፡ ወተንሥኡ፡ ህየንቴሆሙ፡ ካኣን።
也都消逝無蹤，下到陰府去了，另有別人起來頂替了他們。
they are vanished and gone down to the grave, and others are come up in their steads.
3:20
ወርእዩ፡ ብርሃነ፡ ንኡሳን፡ ወነበሩ፡ ውስተ፡ ምድሮሙ፡ ወለፍኖተ፡ ጥበብሰ፡ ኢያእመሩ።
後起的人雖見了光明，住在地上，卻不認識智慧的道路，
Younger men have seen the light, and lived upon the earth: but the way of knowledge have they not known,
3:21
ወአሠራሂ፡ ኢረከቡ፡ ወኢተወክፍዋ፡ ደቂቆሙ፡ ወርኅቁ፡ እምፍኖቶሙ።
也不明白她的途徑；他們的子孫也沒有掌握她，反而離她的道路越來越遠。
neither understood they the paths thereof: neither have their children laid hold of it: they are far off from their way.
3:22
ወኢሰምዑ፡ ከነዓን፡ ወርእዩ፡ ቴሞና።
在客納罕沒有聽見過她，在特曼也沒有見過她。
It has not been heard of in Canaan, neither has it been seen in Teman.
3:23
ወደቂቀ፡ አጋራሂ፡ እለ፡ ኀሥሣዋ፡ ለጥበብ፡ ዲበ፡ ምድር፡ ነጋድያነ፡ መርያን፡ ወቴማን፡ እለ፡ ይዛውዑ፡ ባቲ፡ ወእለ፡ የኀሥሥዋ፡ ለአእምሮ፡ ወለፍኖተ፡ ጥበብሰ፡ ኢያእመርዋ፡ ወኢሂ፡ ተዘከሩ፡ አሠራ።
那些尋求知識的哈加爾子孫，那些默蘭和特曼的商人，那些編造寓言、探究知識的人，都不認識智慧的道路，也不記念她的途徑。
The sons also of Agar that seek understanding, which are in the land, the merchants of Merran and Teman, and the authors of fables, and the searchers out of understanding; none of these have known the way of wisdom, or remembered her paths.
3:24
እስራኤል፡ እፎ፡ ዐቢይ፡ ቤተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወነዋኅ፡ ብሔሩ።
以色列啊，天主的居所何其廣大！祂所擁有的地方何其遼闊！
O Israel, how great is the house of God! and how large is the place of his possession!
3:25
ዐቢይ፡ ውእቱ፡ ወአልቦ፡ ማኅለቅት፡ ወላዕሉሂ፡ አልቦ፡ መስፈርት።
廣大而沒有窮盡，崇高而無法測量。
great, and has none end; high, and unmeasurable.
3:26
ህየ፡ ሀለዉ፡ ዘይሰመዩ፡ ያርብሐውያን፡ እለ፡ እምትካት፡ ነዋኃን፡ ቆሞሙ፡ ወእለ፡ የአምሩ፡ ቀትለ።
在那裏出生了那些自古聞名的巨人，他們身材高大，精於戰鬥。
There were the giants born that were famous of old, great of stature, and expert in war.
3:27
ኢኀረዮሙ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ለእሉ፡ ወኢወሀቦሙ፡ ፍኖተ፡ ተግሣጽ።
天主卻沒有揀選這些人，也沒有把知識的道路賜給他們，
God didn’t choose these, nor did he give the way of knowledge to them;
3:28
ወማሰኑ፡ እስመ፡ አልቦሙ፡ ጥበብ፡ ጠፍኡ፡ በተኀብሎቶሙ።
以致他們因沒有智慧而滅亡，因自己的愚妄而喪亡。
so they perished, because they had no wisdom, they perished through their own foolishness.
3:29
መኑ፡ ዘዐርገ፡ ሰማየ፡ ወነሥኣ፡ ወአውረዳ፡ እምነ፡ ደመናት።
誰曾上到天上取得智慧，把她從雲端帶下來？
Who has gone up into heaven, and taken her, and brought her down from the clouds?
3:30
መኑ፡ ዐደወ፡ ባሕረ፡ ወረከባ፡ ወአምጽኣ፡ በወርቅ፡ ቀይሕ።
誰曾渡過海洋尋得智慧，肯用精金把她換來？
Who has gone over the sea, and found her, and will bring her for choice gold?
3:31
ወአልቦ፡ ዘየአምር፡ ፍኖታ፡ ወዘይኄልዮ፡ ለአሠራ።
沒有人認識她的道路，也沒有人想得到她的途徑。
There is none that knows her way, nor any that comprehendeth her path.
3:32
ዘኵሎ፡ የአምር፡ የአምራ፡ ወረከባ፡ በጥበቡ፡ ዘፈጠራ፡ ለምድር፡ ለዓለም፡ ወዘመልኣ፡ አባግዓ፡ ወእንስሳ።
唯有那無所不知的主認識她；祂以自己的聰明尋得了她。祂奠定大地，直到永遠，又使地上充滿四足的牲畜；
But he that knows all things knows her, he found her out with his understanding: he that prepared the earth for evermore has filled it with four-footed beasts:
3:33
ወይፌኑ፡ ብርሃኖ፡ ወየሐውር፡ ዘይጼውዖ፡ ወይትኤዘዞ፡ በፍርሃት።
祂發出光明，光便照耀；祂一呼喚，光便戰兢地聽從祂。
he that sends forth the light, and it goes; he called it, and it obeyed him with fear:
3:34
ወከዋክብትኒ፡ ያበርሁ፡ በጊዜሆሙ፡ ወይትፌሥሑ።
眾星在自己的崗位上閃耀，歡欣喜樂；
and the stars shined in their watches, and were glad: when he called them, they said, Here we be; they shined with gladness to him that made them.
3:35
ወይጼውዖሙ፡ ወይብሉ፡ መጻእነ።
祂一呼喚，它們便說：『我們在這裏。』它們便向那造它們的主歡欣地閃耀。
This is our God, and there shall none other be accounted of in comparison of him.
3:36
ውእቱ፡ አምላክነ፡ እስመ፡ አልቦ፡ ባዕድ፡ ዘይመስል፡ ኪያሁ።
這位就是我們的天主，沒有別的可與祂相比。
He has found out all the way of knowledge, and has given it to Jacob his servant, and to Israel that is beloved of him.
3:37
ውእቱ፡ ረከባ፡ ለኵላ፡ ፍኖተ፡ ጥበብ፡ ወወሀቦ፡ ለያዕቆብ፡ ቊልዔሁ፡ ወለእስራኤል፡ ፍቁሩ።
祂尋得了知識的一切道路，把她賜給了祂的僕人雅各伯，賜給了祂所鍾愛的以色列。
Afterward did she appear upon earth, and was conversant with men.
3:38
ወእም፡ ዝ፡ አስተርአየ፡ ዲበ፡ ምድር፡ ወኮነ፡ ከመ፡ ሰብእ።
此後，智慧便出現在地上，與世人交往。
Afterward she appeared upon the earth, and dwelt among men.
