11:1

ወአፍቅሮ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክከ ፡ ወዕቀብ ፡ ሕጎ ፡ ወኵነኔሁ ፡ ወትእዛዞ ፡ ወፍትሖ ፡ በኵሉ ፡ መዋዕለ ፡ ሕይወትከ ።

「你要愛耶和華－你的上帝，常守他的吩咐、律例、典章、誡命。

Therefore you shall love Yahweh your God, and keep his instructions, his statutes, his ordinances, and his commandments, always.

11:2

ወታእምሩ ፡ ዮም ፡ ከመ ፡ አኮ ፡ ደቂቅክሙ ፡ ዘርእዩ ፡ ወአእመሩ ፡ ተግሣጾ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክከ ፡ ወዐቢያቲሁ ፡ ወእድ ፡ ጽንዕት ፡ ወመዝራዕት ፡ ልዑል ፤

你們今日當知道，我本不是和你們的兒女說話；因為他們不知道，也沒有看見耶和華－你們上帝的管教、威嚴、大能的手，和伸出來的膀臂，

Know this day—for I don’t speak with your children who have not known, and who have not seen the chastisement of Yahweh your God, his greatness, his mighty hand, his outstretched arm,

11:3

ወተአምሪሁ ፡ ወመድምሙ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ዘገብረ ፡ በማእከለ ፡ ግብጽ ፡ ወበፈርዖን ፡ ንጉሠ ፡ ግብጽ ፡ ወበኵሉ ፡ ምድሩ ፤

並他在埃及中向埃及王法老和其全地所行的神蹟奇事；

his signs, and his works, which he did in the middle of Egypt to Pharaoh the king of Egypt, and to all his land;

11:4

ወኵሎ ፡ ዘገብረ ፡ በኀይሎሙ ፡ ለግብጽ ፡ ወበሰረገላቲሆሙ ፡ ወበአፍራሲሆሙ ፡ ዘከመ ፡ ከደኖሙ ፡ ማየ ፡ ባሕረ ፡ ኤርትራ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ገጾሙ ፡ እንዘ ፡ ይዴግኑክሙ ፡ እሙንቱ ፡ እምድኅሬክሙ ፡ ወአጥፍኦሙ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክክሙ ፡ እስከ ፡ ዛቲ ፡ ዕለት ፤

也沒有看見他怎樣待埃及的軍兵、車馬，他們追趕你們的時候，耶和華怎樣使紅海的水淹沒他們，將他們滅絕，直到今日，

and what he did to the army of Egypt, to their horses, and to their chariots; how he made the water of the Red Sea to overflow them as they pursued you, and how Yahweh has destroyed them to this day;

11:5

ወኵሎ ፡ ዘገብረ ፡ ለክሙ ፡ በገዳም ፡ እስከ ፡ በጻሕክሙ ፡ ዘንተ ፡ መካነ ፤

並他在曠野怎樣待你們，以致你們來到這地方；

and what he did to you in the wilderness until you came to this place;

11:6

ወኵሎ ፡ ዘገብረ ፡ በዳታን ፡ ወበአቢሮን ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ ኤልያብ ፡ ወልደ ፡ ሮቤል ፡ እንተ ፡ ፈትሐት ፡ ምድር ፡ አፉሃ ፡ ወውሕጠቶሙ ፡ ወለአብያቲሆሙ ፡ ወለደባትሪሆሙ ፡ ወለኵሉ ፡ ንዋዮሙ ፡ ዘምስሌሆሙ ፡ እምነ ፡ ማእከሎሙ ፡ ለኵሉ ፡ እስራኤል ።

也沒有看見他怎樣待呂便子孫以利押的兒子大坍、亞比蘭，地怎樣在以色列人中間開口，吞了他們和他們的家眷，並帳棚與跟他們的一切活物。

and what he did to Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, the son of Reuben—how the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up, with their households, their tents, and every living thing that followed them, in the middle of all Israel;

11:7

እስመ ፡ አዕይንቲክሙ ፡ ርእያ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ግብረ ፡ ዐቢያተ ፡ ዘገብረ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።

惟有你們親眼看見耶和華所做的一切大事。」

but your eyes have seen all of Yahweh’s great work which he did.

11:8

ወዕቀቡ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ትእዛዞ ፡ ዘአነ ፡ እኤዝዘከ ፡ ዮም ፡ ከመ ፡ ትሕየው ፡ ወትትባዝኁ ፡ ወትባኡ ፡ ትትዋረሱ ፡ ምድረ ፡ እንተ ፡ ላቲ ፡ ተዐድው ፡ ዮርዳንስ ፡ ከመ ፡ ትትዋረስዋ ፡ በህየ ፤

「所以，你們要守我今日所吩咐的一切誡命，使你們膽壯，能以進去，得你們所要得的那地，

Therefore you shall keep the entire commandment which I command you today, that you may be strong, and go in and possess the land that you go over to possess;

11:9

ከመ ፡ ይኑኅ ፡ መዋዕሊክሙ ፡ በውስተ ፡ ምድር ፡ እንተ ፡ መሐለ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለአበዊክሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ የሀቦሙ ፡ ወለዘርኦሙ ፡ እምድኅሬሆሙ ፡ ምድረ ፡ እንተ ፡ ትውሕዝ ፡ ሐሊበ ፡ ወመዓረ ።

並使你們的日子在耶和華向你們列祖起誓、應許給他們和他們後裔的地上得以長久；那是流奶與蜜之地。

and that you may prolong your days in the land which Yahweh swore to your fathers to give to them and to their offspring, a land flowing with milk and honey.
