8:1
ወዕቀቡ ፡ ከመ ፡ ትግበሩ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ትእዛዘ ፡ ዘእኤዝዘክሙ ፡ አነ ፡ ዮም ፡ ከመ ፡ ትሕየው ፡ ወትትባዝኁ ፡ ወትባኡ ፡ ትትወረሱ ፡ ምድረ ፡ እንተ ፡ መሐለ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለአበዊክሙ ።
「我今日所吩咐的一切誡命，你們要謹守遵行，好叫你們存活，人數增多，且進去得耶和華向你們列祖起誓應許的那地。
You shall observe to do all the commandments which I command you today, that you may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which Yahweh swore to your fathers.
8:2
ወተዘከር ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ፍኖተ ፡ እንተ ፡ ወሰደከ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክከ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ገዳም ፡ ከመ ፡ ያሕምምከ ፡ ወከመ ፡ ያመክርከ ፡ ወከመ ፡ ያእምር ፡ ልበከ ፡ ለእመ ፡ ተዐቅብ ፡ ትእዛዞ ፡ ወለእመ ፡ አልቦ ።
你也要記念耶和華－你的上帝在曠野引導你這四十年，是要苦煉你，試驗你，要知道你心內如何，肯守他的誡命不肯。
You shall remember all the way which Yahweh your God has led you these forty years in the wilderness, that he might humble you, to test you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep his commandments or not.
8:3
ወአሕመመከ ፡ ወአርኀበከ ፡ ወእምዝ ፡ መና ፡ ሴሰየከ ፡ ዘኢያአምሩ ፡ አበዊከ ፡ ከመ ፡ ያርኢከ ፡ ከመ ፡ ኢኮነ ፡ በእክል ፡ ባሕቲቱ ፡ ዘየሐዩ ፡ ሰብእ ፡ አላ ፡ በኵሉ ፡ ቃል ፡ እንተ ፡ ትወፅእ ፡ እምነ ፡ አፉሁ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ የሐዩ ፡ ሰብእ ።
他苦煉你，任你飢餓，將你和你列祖所不認識的嗎哪賜給你吃，使你知道，人活着不是單靠食物，乃是靠耶和華口裏所出的一切話。
He humbled you, allowed you to be hungry, and fed you with manna, which you didn’t know, neither did your fathers know, that he might teach you that man does not live by bread only, but man lives by every word that proceeds out of Yahweh’s mouth.
8:4
አልባሲከኒ ፡ ኢበልየ ፡ በላዕሌከ ፡ ወእገሪከኒ ፡ ኢረስሐ ፡ ናሁ ፡ አርብዓ ፡ ዓም ።
這四十年，你的衣服沒有穿破，你的腳也沒有腫。
Your clothing didn’t grow old on you, neither did your foot swell, these forty years.
8:5
ወአእምር ፡ በልብከ ፡ እስመ ፡ ከመ ፡ ይጌሥጽ ፡ ብእሲ ፡ ወልዶ ፡ ከማሁ ፡ ይጌሥጸከ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክከ ።
你當心裏思想，耶和華－你上帝管教你，好像人管教兒子一樣。
You shall consider in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so Yahweh your God disciplines you.
8:6
ወዕቀብ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ትእዛዞ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክከ ፡ ከመ ፡ ትሑር ፡ በፍኖቱ ፡ ወትፍርሆ ።
你要謹守耶和華－你上帝的誡命，遵行他的道，敬畏他。
You shall keep the commandments of Yahweh your God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.
8:7
እስመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክከ ፡ ያበውአከ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ምድር ፡ ቡርክት ፡ ወብዝኅት ፡ እንተ ፡ ወሓይዝተ ፡ ማይ ፡ ወዐዘቃቲሃ ፡ ከመ ፡ ቀላይ ፡ ወይትከዐው ፡ ውስተ ፡ ገዳም ፡ ወውስተ ፡ አድባር ።
因為耶和華－你上帝領你進入美地，那地有河，有泉，有源，從山谷中流出水來。
For Yahweh your God brings you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of springs, and underground water flowing into valleys and hills;
8:8
ምድረ ፡ ስርናይ ፡ ወስገም ፡ ወአዕጻደ ፡ ወይን ፡ ወበለስ ፡ ወሮማን ፡ ምድረ ፡ ኤልያስ ፡ ዘዘይት ፡ ወመዓር ፤
那地有小麥、大麥、葡萄樹、無花果樹、石榴樹、橄欖樹，和蜜。
a land of wheat, barley, vines, fig trees, and pomegranates; a land of olive trees and honey;
8:9
ምድር ፡ እንተ ፡ ኢኮነት ፡ በአስተአክሎ ፡ ዘትበልዖ ፡ ለእክልከ ፡ ወአልቦ ፡ ዘተኀጥእ ፡ ምንተኒ ፡ ውስቴታ ፡ ምድር ፡ እንተ ፡ እበኒሃ ፡ ኀፂን ፡ ወእምውስተ ፡ አድባሪሃ ፡ ይኤልድዎ ፡ ለብርት ።
你在那地不缺食物，一無所缺。那地的石頭是鐵，山內可以挖銅。
a land in which you shall eat bread without scarcity, you shall not lack anything in it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills you may dig copper.
8:10
ወብላዕ ፡ ወጽገብ ፡ ወባርኮ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክከ ፡ በውስተ ፡ ምድር ፡ ቡርክት ፡ እንተ ፡ ወሀበከ ።
你吃得飽足，就要稱頌耶和華－你的上帝，因他將那美地賜給你了。」
You shall eat and be full, and you shall bless Yahweh your God for the good land which he has given you.
8:11
ወዑቅ ፡ ርእሰከ ፡ ወኢትርስዖ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክከ ፡ ከመ ፡ ትዕቀብ ፡ ትእዛዞ ፡ ወፍትሖ ፡ ወኵነኔሁ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ዘአነ ፡ እኤዝዘከ ፡ ዮም ።
「你要謹慎，免得忘記耶和華－你的上帝，不守他的誡命、典章、律例，就是我今日所吩咐你的；
Beware lest you forget Yahweh your God, in not keeping his commandments, his ordinances, and his statutes, which I command you today;
8:12
ዮጊ ፡ ሶበ ፡ በላዕከ ፡ ወጸገብከ ፡ ወነደቀ ፡ አብያተ ፡ ሠናያነ ፡ ወነበርከ ፡ ውስቴቶሙ ፤
恐怕你吃得飽足，建造美好的房屋居住，
lest, when you have eaten and are full, and have built fine houses and lived in them;
8:13
ወበዝኃ ፡ ለከ ፡ አባግዒከ ፡ ወአልህምቲከ ፡ ወሶበ ፡ በዝኀ ፡ ለከ ፡ ወርቅ ፡ ወብሩር ፡ ወበዝኀ ፡ ለከ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ንዋይከ ፤
你的牛羊加多，你的金銀增添，並你所有的全都加增，
and when your herds and your flocks multiply, and your silver and your gold is multiplied, and all that you have is multiplied;
8:14
ዮጊ ፡ ታዐቢ ፡ ልበከ ፡ ወትረስዖ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክከ ፡ ዘአውፅአከ ፡ እምነ ፡ ምድረ ፡ ግብጽ ፡ እምነ ፡ ቤተ ፡ ቅኔት ፤
你就心高氣傲，忘記耶和華－你的上帝，就是將你從埃及地為奴之家領出來的，
then your heart might be lifted up, and you forget Yahweh your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage;
8:15
ወወሰደከ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ገዳም ፡ ዘዐቢይ ፡ ወግሩም ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ዘአራዊተ ፡ ምድር ፡ ዘይነስክ ፡ ወዐቃርብት ፡ ወጽምእ ፡ ወአልቦ ፡ ማየ ፡ ለሰትይ ፡ ዘአውፅአ ፡ ለከ ፡ እምውስተ ፡ እብን ፡ ኰኵሕ ፡ ነቅዐ ፡ ማየ ፡ ጥዑም ።
引你經過那大而可怕的曠野，那裏有火蛇、蠍子、乾旱無水之地。他曾為你使水從堅硬的磐石中流出來，
who led you through the great and terrible wilderness, with venomous snakes and scorpions, and thirsty ground where there was no water; who poured water for you out of the rock of flint;
8:16
ዘሴሰየከ ፡ መና ፡ በገዳም ፡ ዘኢያአምሩ ፡ አበዊከ ፡ ከመ ፡ ያሕምምከ ፡ ወያመክርከ ፡ ወያሠኒ ፡ ላዕሌከ ፡ በደኃሪ ፡ መዋዕሊከ ።
又在曠野將你列祖所不認識的嗎哪賜給你吃，是要苦煉你，試驗你，叫你終久享福；
who fed you in the wilderness with manna, which your fathers didn’t know, that he might humble you, and that he might prove you, to do you good at your latter end;
8:17
ወኢትበል ፡ በልብከ ፡ በጽንዕየ ፡ ወበኀይለ ፡ እዴየ ፡ ገበርኩ ፡ ሊተ ፡ ዘንተ ፡ ኅይለ ፡ ዐቢየ ።
恐怕你心裏說：『這貨財是我力量、我能力得來的。』
and lest you say in your heart, “My power and the might of my hand has gotten me this wealth.”
8:18
ወተዘከሮ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክከ ፡ እስመ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ይሁበከ ፡ ኀይለ ፡ ከመ ፡ ያቅም ፡ ኪዳኖ ፡ ዘመሐለ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለአበዊከ ፡ በከመ ፡ ዮም ።
你要記念耶和華－你的上帝，因為得貨財的力量是他給你的，為要堅定他向你列祖起誓所立的約，像今日一樣。
But you shall remember Yahweh your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he swore to your fathers, as it is today.
8:19
ወለእመ ፡ ረሲዐ ፡ ረሳዕካሁ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክከ ፡ ወሖርከ ፡ ድኅረ ፡ ባዕድ ፡ አማልክት ፡ ወአምለካሆሙ ፡ ወሰገድከ ፡ ሎሙ ፡ ኣሰምዕ ፡ ላዕሌከ ፡ ዮም ፡ ሰማየ ፡ ወምድረ ፡ ከመ ፡ ጠፊአ ፡ ትጠፍእ ።
你若忘記耶和華－你的上帝，隨從別神，事奉敬拜，你們必定滅亡；這是我今日警戒你們的。
It shall be, if you shall forget Yahweh your God, and walk after other gods, and serve them and worship them, I testify against you today that you shall surely perish.
8:20
በከመ ፡ አሕዛብ ፡ ኵሎሙ ፡ እለ ፡ ደምሰሶሙ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ እምቅድመ ፡ ገጽክሙ ፡ ከማሁ ፡ ትደመሰሱ ፡ እስመ ፡ ኢሰማዕክሙ ፡ ቃለ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክክሙ ።
耶和華在你們面前怎樣使列國的民滅亡，你們也必照樣滅亡，因為你們不聽從耶和華－你們上帝的話。」
As the nations that Yahweh makes to perish before you, so you shall perish, because you wouldn’t listen to Yahweh your God’s voice.
