1:1

አመ፡ ቀዳሚ፡ ዓመተ፡ መንግሥቱ፡ ለቂሮስ፡ ንጉሠ፡ ፋርስ፡ እምዘኀልቀ፡ ቃለ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ እምአፈ፡ ኤርምያስ፡ አንሥአ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ መንፈሰ፡ ቂሮስ፡ ንጉሠ፡ ፋርስ፡ ወአዘዘ፡ በቃሉ፡ ለኵሉ፡ መንግሥቱ፡ ወዓዲ፡ ጸሐፈ፡ እንዘ፡ ይብል።

波斯王古列元年，為要應驗耶和華藉耶利米口所說的話，耶和華激動波斯王古列的靈，使他通告他全國的話，並且寫成文字，說：

In the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of Jehovah from the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, Jehovah stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, and he made a proclamation by his word throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying:

1:2

ከመዝ፡ ይቤ፡ ቂሮስ፡ ንጉሠ፡ ፋርስ፡ ኵሎ፡ መንግሥተ፡ ምድር፡ ወሀበኒ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ እግዚአ፡ ሰማይ፡ ወውእቱ፡ አሕለየኒ፡ ዘከመ፡ አሐንፅ፡ ሎቱ፡ ቤተ፡ በኢየሩሳሌም፡ ዘይሁዳ።

波斯王古列如此說：天上的神耶和華已將地上萬國賜給我，又囑咐我在猶大的耶路撒冷為他建造殿宇。

Thus says Cyrus king of Persia: Jehovah, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth, and He has charged me to build Him a house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah.

1:3

መኑ፡ እምውስተ፡ ኵሉ፡ አሕዛብ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ የሃሉ፡ ምስሌሁ፡ ከመ፡ ይዕርግ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም፡ ዘይሁዳ፡ ወይሕንፅ፡ ቤተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ አምላከ፡ እስራኤል፡ ወውእቱ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ዘውስተ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም።

在你們中間凡屬他子民的，願他的神與他同在；他可以上猶大的耶路撒冷去，建造以色列神耶和華的殿，他是那在耶路撒冷的神。

Whoever there is among you of all His people, may his God be with him; let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and build the house of Jehovah the God of Israel—He is the God who is in Jerusalem.

1:4

ወኵሎሙ፡ እለ፡ ተርፉ፡ ውስተ፡ ኵሉ፡ በሐውርት፡ እለ፡ ለሊሁ፡ አፍለሰ፡ ህየ፡ ወይትራድእዎ፡ ምስሌሆሙ፡ እምውስተ፡ ሰብአ፡ ብሔር፡ በወርቅ፡ ወበብሩር፡ ወበንዋይ፡ ወበእንስሳ፡ ወባዕደኒ፡ ዘፈቀዱ፡ ለቤተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ዘኢየሩሳሌም።

凡剩下的人，無論寄居何處，那地方的人要用金銀、財物、牲畜幫助他們，另外還要為耶路撒冷神的殿甘心獻上禮物。

And all who remain, in whatever places they sojourn, let the men of their place help them with silver and gold and goods and cattle, besides the freewill offerings for the house of God which is in Jerusalem.

1:5

ወተንሥኡ፡ መላእክተ፡ አበወ፡ ይሁዳ፡ ወብንያም፡ ወካህናትኒ፡ ወሌዋውያን፡ ወኵሎሙ፡ እለ፡ ወደየ፡ ሎሙ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ውስተ፡ ልቦሙ፡ ከመ፡ ይዕርጉ፡ ወይሕንፁ፡ ቤተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ በኢየሩሳሌም።

於是猶大和便雅憫的族長，並祭司、利未人，凡被神激動心靈的，都起來要上去建造耶路撒冷耶和華的殿。

Then the heads of the fathers' houses of Judah and Benjamin, with the priests and the Levites, and all whose spirit God had stirred up, rose up to go up and build the house of Jehovah in Jerusalem.

1:6

ወኵሎሙ፡ እለ፡ ዓውዶሙ፡ ይርድእዎሙ፡ ምስሌሆሙ፡ በንዋየ፡ ወርቅ፡ ወብሩር፡ ወእንስሳ፡ ወባዕደኒ፡ ዘአስተአደሙ፡ በፈቃዶሙ።

他們四圍的眾人就拿銀器、金子、財物、牲畜和珍寶幫助他們，此外還有各樣甘心獻上的禮物。

And all those around them strengthened their hands with vessels of silver and gold, with goods, cattle, and precious things, besides all that was offered willingly.

1:7

ወንጉሥኒ፡ ቂሮስ፡ አውፅአ፡ ንዋየ፡ ቤተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ዘነሥኦ፡ ናቡደከነፆር፡ እም፡ ኢየሩሳሌም፡ ወአብኦ፡ ውስተ፡ ቤተ፡ አምላኩ።

古列王也將耶和華殿的器皿拿出來，這些是尼布甲尼撒從耶路撒冷掠去、放在他神廟裡的。

And King Cyrus brought out the vessels of the house of Jehovah, which Nebuchadnezzar had taken from Jerusalem and put in the house of his god.

1:8

ወአውፅአ፡ ቂሮስ፡ ንጉሠ፡ ፋርስ፡ ላዕለ፡ እደ፡ ሚትሪዳጡ፡ ወልደ፡ ገስባሬኑ፡ ወጸሐፈ፡ ወወሀቦ፡ ለሲሳብሳር፡ መልአከ፡ ይሁዳ።

波斯王古列託庫官米提利達經手將這些器皿拿出來，數點交給猶大的首領設巴薩。

Cyrus king of Persia brought them out by the hand of Mithredath the treasurer, and they were counted out and delivered to Sheshbazzar the prince of Judah.

1:9

ወእሉ፡ ኊልቈ፡ መዋፅሕት፡ ዘወርቅ፡ ሠላሳ፡ ወመዋፅሕት፡ ዘብሩር፡ ዓሠርቱ፡ ምእት፡ ወአፅሕልት፡ ዕሥራ፡ ወተስዓቱ።

器皿的數目是這樣：金盤三十個，銀盤一千個，刀二十九把，

And this was their number: thirty dishes of gold, a thousand dishes of silver, twenty-nine knives,

1:10

ወጽዋዓት፡ ዘወርቅ፡ ሠላሳ፡ ወዘብሩር፡ አርባዕቱ፡ ምእት፡ ወዓሠርቱ፡ ወካልአን፡ ዓሠርቱ፡ ምእት።

金碗三十個，銀碗四百一十個，別樣的器皿一千件。

thirty bowls of gold, four hundred and ten bowls of silver, and a thousand other vessels.

1:11

ወኵሉ፡ ንዋይ፡ ዘወርቅኒ፡ ወዘብሩርኒ፡ ኃምሳ፡ ምእት፡ ወአርባዕቱ፡ ምእት፡ ዘ፡ ኵሎ፡ አዕረገ፡ ሲሳብሳር፡ ምስለ፡ እለ፡ ዓርጉፄዋ፡ እምባቢሎን፡ ኢየሩሳሌም።

金銀器皿共有五千四百件。被擄的人從巴比倫上耶路撒冷的時候，設巴薩將這一切都帶了上去。

All the vessels of gold and silver were five thousand four hundred. Sheshbazzar brought up all of them with those of the captivity who came up from Babylon to Jerusalem.
