1:1
ራእዩ ለዮሐንስ ዘከመ ርእዮ ለኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ዘወሀቦ እግዚአብሔር ከመ ያርእዮሙ ለአግብርቲሁ ዘሀለዎ ይኩን ፍጡነ ወዘይከውን እምድኅረዝ ወፈነወ ምስለ መልአኩ ኀበ ዮሐንስ ገብሩ።
耶穌基督的啟示，就是上帝賜給他，叫他將必要快成的事指示他的眾僕人。他就差遣使者曉諭他的僕人約翰。
This is the Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his servants the things which must happen soon, which he sent and made known by his angel to his servant, John,
1:2
ዘኮነ ስምዐ በእንተ ቃለ እግዚአብሔር ወበእንተ ስምዑ ለኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ወበእንተ ኵሉ ዘርእየ።
約翰便將上帝的道和耶穌基督的見證，凡自己所看見的都證明出來。
who testified to God’s word and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, about everything that he saw.
1:3
ወብፁዕ ውእቱ ዘያነብቦ ወዘይሰምዕ ቃለ ተነብዮቱ ለዝንቱ መጽሐፍ ወዘየዐቅብ ዘጽሑፍ ውስቴቱ እስመ ቅሩብ ዘመኑ።
念這書上預言的和那些聽見又遵守其中所記載的，都是有福的，因為日期近了。
Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and keep the things that are written in it, for the time is near.
1:4
ዘጸሐፈ ዮሐንስ ለሰብዑ አብያተ ክርስቲያናት እለ ውስተ እስያ ሞገሱ ለክሙ ወሰላሙ እምኀበ ዘሀሎ ወይሄሉ ዘመጽአ ወዘይመጽእ ወእምነ ሰብዐቱ መንፈስ ዘቅድመ መንበሩ ለኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ።
約翰寫信給亞細亞的七個教會。但願從那昔在、今在、以後永在的上帝，和他寶座前的七靈，
John, to the seven assemblies that are in Asia: Grace to you and peace from God, who is and who was and who is to come; and from the seven Spirits who are before his throne;
1:5
ዘውእቱ ስምዕ መሃይምን ወውእቱ ቀደመ በኵረ ከዊነ እምነ ምዉታን ዘተንሥአ ወውእቱ መኰንኖሙ ለነገሥተ ምድር ውእቱ ዘአፍቀረክሙ ወኀፀበክሙ እምኀጣውኢክሙ በደሙ።
並那誠實作見證的、從死裏首先復活、為世上君王元首的耶穌基督，有恩惠、平安歸與你們！ 他愛我們，用自己的血使我們脫離 罪惡，
and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us, and washed us from our sins by his blood—
1:6
ወረሰየክሙ ውስተ መንግሥተ ቅድሳተ አቡሁ እግዚአብሔር ዘሎቱ ስብሐት ወኀይል ለዓለመ ዓለም አሜን።
又使我們成為國民，作他父上帝的祭司。但願榮耀、權能歸給他，直到永永遠遠。阿們！
and he made us to be a Kingdom, priests to his God and Father—to him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.
1:7
ናሁ ይመጽእ በደመና ሰማይ ወትሬእዮ ኵላ ዐይን ወእልክቱሂ እለ ወግእዎ ይኔጽርዎ ወይበክዩ በእንቲኣሁ ኵሎሙ አሕዛበ ምድር እወ ወአማን።
看哪，他駕雲降臨！ 眾目要看見他， 連刺他的人也要看見他； 地上的萬族都要因他哀哭。 這話是真實的。阿們！
Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, including those who pierced him. All the tribes of the earth will mourn over him. Even so, Amen.
1:8
አነ ውእቱ አልፋ ወዖ ይቤ እግዚአብሔር ዘሀሎ ወይሄሉ ዘመጽአ ወዘይመጽእ ዘውእቱ ይመልክ ኵሎ።
主上帝說：「我是阿拉法，我是俄梅戛 ，是昔在、今在、以後永在的全能者。」
“I am the Alpha and the Omega, ” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”
1:9
ወአነ ዮሐንስ እኁክሙ ወሱታፌክሙ በሕማምክሙ ወበመንግሥትክሙ ወበትዕግሥትክሙ በእንተ ትዕግሥቱ ለኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ወእንዘ ሀሎኩ ውስተ ደሴት እንተ ስማ ፍጥሞ በእንተ ቃለ እግዚአብሔር ወበእንተ ስምዑ ለኢየሱስ።
我－約翰就是你們的弟兄，和你們在耶穌的患難、國度、忍耐裏一同有分，為上帝的道，並為給耶穌作的見證，曾在那名叫拔摩的海島上。
I John, your brother and partner with you in the oppression, Kingdom, and perseverance in Christ Jesus, was on the isle that is called Patmos because of God’s Word and the testimony of Jesus Christ.
1:10
መጽአ ላዕሌየ መንፈስ በዕለተ እሑድ ወሰማዕኩ ቃለ ዐቢየ እምድኅሬየ ከመ ቃለ ቀርን።
當主日，我被聖靈感動，聽見在我後面有大聲音如吹號，說：
I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and I heard behind me a loud voice, like a trumpet
1:11
ወይቤለኒ ጸሐፍ እንከ ዘትሬኢ ወዘትሰምዕ ውስተ መጽሐፍ ወፈኑ ለአብያተ ክርስቲያናት ሰብዐቱ እለ ውስተ እስያ ዘኤፌሶን ወዘሴሜርኔስ ወዘጴርጋሞን ወዘትያጥሮን ወዘሰርዴስ ወዘፊልድልፍያ ወዘሎዶቅያ።
「你所看見的當寫在書上，達與以弗所、士每拿、別迦摩、推雅推喇、撒狄、非拉鐵非、老底嘉那七個教會。」
saying, “What you see, write in a book and send to the seven assemblies: to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.”
1:12
ወተመየጥኩ እርአይ ዝኰ ቃለ ዘይትናገር ምስሌየ ወሶበ ተመየጥኩ ናሁ እሬኢ ሰብዑ መኃትወ ዘወርቅ።
我轉過身來，要看是誰發聲與我說話；既轉過來，就看見七個金燈臺。
I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. Having turned, I saw seven golden lamp stands.
1:13
ወማእከለ ሰብዑ መኃትው ይነብር ከመ ወልደ ዕጓለ እመሕያው ወይለብስ ልብሰ ጶዴር ወቅኑት ውስተ ሐቌሁ በቅናት ዘወርቅ።
燈臺中間有一位好像人子，身穿長衣，直垂到腳，胸間束着金帶。
And among the lamp stands was one like a son of man, clothed with a robe reaching down to his feet, and with a golden sash around his chest.
1:14
ወጸዐዳ ርእሱ ወሥዕርቱ ከመ ፀምር ጸዐዳ ወከመ በረድ ወአዕይንቲሁ ከመ ነደ እሳት።
他的頭與髮皆白，如白羊毛，如雪；眼目如同火焰；
His head and his hair were white as white wool, like snow. His eyes were like a flame of fire.
1:15
ወእገሪሁ ከመ ብርተ ሊባኖስ ዘአርሰንዎ በእሳት ወቃሉ ከመ ቃለ ማይ ብዙኅ።
腳好像在爐中鍛鍊光明的銅；聲音如同眾水的聲音。
His feet were like burnished brass, as if it had been refined in a furnace. His voice was like the voice of many waters.
1:16
ወውስተ እዴሁ ዘየማን ሰብዐቱ ኮከብ ወይወፅእ እምነ አፉሁ ሰይፍ በሊኅ ዘክልኤ አፉሁ ወገጹ ከመ ፀሓይ ብሩህ ዘያስተርኢ በኀይሉ።
他右手拿着七星，從他口中出來一把兩刃的利劍；面貌如同烈日放光。
He had seven stars in his right hand. Out of his mouth proceeded a sharp two-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining at its brightest.
1:17
ወሶበ ርኢክዎ ወደቁ ውስተ እገሪሁ ወኮንኩ ከመ በድን ወአኀዘኒ በየማኑ ወአንሥአኒ ወይቤለኒ ኢትፍራህ አነ ውእቱ ቀዳማዊ ወደኃራዊ ዘሕያው።
我一看見，就仆倒在他腳前，像死了一樣。他用右手按着我，說：「不要懼怕！我是首先的，我是末後的，
When I saw him, I fell at his feet like a dead man. He laid his right hand on me, saying, “Don’t be afraid. I am the first and the last,
1:18
ወአንሰ ኮንኩ ከመ በድን ወይቤለኒ ናሁ ሕያው አነ ለዓለመ ዓለም ወኀቤየ ሀሎ መራኁተ ሞት ወሲኦል።
又是那存活的；我曾死過，現在又活了，直活到永永遠遠；並且拿着死亡和陰間的鑰匙。
and the Living one. I was dead, and behold, I am alive forever and ever. Amen. I have the keys of Death and of Hades.
1:19
ጸሐፍ እንከ ዘትሬኢ ዘህልው ወዘሀለዎ ይኩን እምድኅረዝ።
所以你要把所看見的，和現在的事，並將來必成的事，都寫出來。
Write therefore the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will happen hereafter.
1:20
ወፍካሬሆሙሰ ለሰብዐቱ ከዋክብት እለ ርኢከ ውስተ የማኑ ወሰብዐቱ መኃትው እለ ወርቅ ዝንቱ ሰብዐቱ ከዋክብት መላእክት እሙንቱ እለ ሰብዐቱ አብያተ ክርስቲያናት ወእልክቱኒ ሰብዐቱ መኃትው ሰብዑ አብያተ ክርስቲያናት እማንቱ።
論到你所看見、在我右手中的七星和七個金燈臺的奧祕，那七星就是七個教會的使者，七燈臺就是七個教會。」
The mystery of the seven stars which you saw in my right hand, and the seven golden lamp stands is this: The seven stars are the angels of the seven assemblies. The seven lamp stands are seven assemblies.
