17:1
ወመጽአ አሐዱ እምነ እልክቱ ሰብዐቱ መላእክት እለ ይጸውሩ ሰብዐተ ጽዋዓተ ወይቤለኒ ነዓ አርኢከ ደይና ለእንታክቲ ዘማ ዐባይ እንተ ትነብር ውስተ ማያት ብዙኅ።
拿着七碗的七位天使中，有一位前來對我說：「你到這裏來，我將坐在眾水上的大淫婦所要受的刑罰指給你看。
One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and spoke with me, saying, “Come here. I will show you the judgment of the great prostitute who sits on many waters,
17:2
እንተ ምስሌሃ ዘመዉ ነገሥተ ምድር ወሰክሩ እለ ይነብሩ ዲበ ምድር እምነ ወይነ ዝሙታ።
地上的君王與她行淫，住在地上的人喝醉了她淫亂的酒。」
with whom the kings of the earth committed sexual immorality. Those who dwell on the earth were made drunken with the wine of her sexual immorality.”
17:3
ወእምዝ ወሰደኒ መንፈስ ገዳመ ወርኢኩ ብእሲተ ትጼዐን ላዕለ አርዌ ቀይሕ ዘምሉእ አስማተ ፅርፈት ዘሰብዐቱ አርእስቲሁ ወዐሠርቱ አቅርንቲሁ።
我被聖靈感動，天使帶我到曠野去，我就看見一個女人騎在朱紅色的獸上；那獸有七頭十角，遍體有褻瀆的名號。
He carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness. I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet-colored beast, full of blasphemous names, having seven heads and ten horns.
17:4
ወትለብስ ይእቲ ብእሲት ልብሰ ወርቅ ዘቦ ሜላት ወዘቦ ለይ ወዕንቍ ክቡር ወባሕርያት ወትጸውር ውስተ እዴሃ ጽዋዐ ወርቅ ዘምሉእ ርኵሰ ወግማኔ ዝሙታ።
那女人穿着紫色和朱紅色的衣服，用金子、寶石、珍珠為妝飾；手拿金杯，杯中盛滿了可憎之物，就是她淫亂的污穢。
The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the impurities of the sexual immorality of the earth.
17:5
ወጽሑፍ ውስተ ፍጽማ አስማተ ምሥጢራ ለባቢሎን ዐባይ ዘይብል እሞን ለዘማት ወዘርኵሳ ለምድር።
在她額上有名寫着說：「奧祕哉！大巴比倫，作世上的淫婦和一切可憎之物的母。」
And on her forehead a name was written, “MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF THE PROSTITUTES AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.”
17:6
ወስክርት ይእቲ ብእሲት እምደሞሙ ለቅዱሳን ወእምደሞሙ ለጻድቃኒሁ ለኢየሱስ ወአንከርክዋ ሶበ ርኢክዋ ዐቢየ ተደመምኩ።
我又看見那女人喝醉了聖徒的血和為耶穌作見證之人的血。 我看見她，就大大地希奇。
I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. When I saw her, I wondered with great amazement.
17:7
ወይቤለኒ ዝክቱ መልአክ ምንተ ታነክር አነ እነግረከ ምሥጢራ ለዛቲ ብእሲት ወለዝክቱ አርዌ ዘይጸውራ ወሰብዐቱ አርእስቲሁ ወዐሠርቱ አቅርንቲሁ።
天使對我說：「你為甚麼希奇呢？我要將這女人和馱着她的那七頭十角獸的奧祕告訴你。
The angel said to me, “Why do you wonder? I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns.
17:8
ወዝክቱኒ አርዌ ዘርኢከ ሀለወ ወኢሀለወ ወሀለዎ ይዕርግ እምነ ቀላይ ወየሐውር ለሙስና ወይዴመሙ በእንቲኣሁ እለ ይነብሩ ዲበ ምድር እለ ኢኮነ ጽሑፈ አስማቲሆሙ ውስተ መጽሐፈ ሕይወት ዘእምፍጥረተ ዓለም ሶበ ርእይዎ ለውእቱ አርዌ ከመ ሀለወ ወኢሀለወ እንዘ ሀለወ።
你所看見的獸，先前有，如今沒有，將要從無底坑裏上來，又要歸於沉淪。凡住在地上、名字從創世以來沒有記在生命冊上的，見先前有、如今沒有、以後再有的獸，就必希奇。
The beast that you saw was, and is not; and is about to come up out of the abyss and to go into destruction. Those who dwell on the earth and whose names have not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world will marvel when they see that the beast was, and is not, and shall be present.
17:9
ወዘቦ ልብ ወጥበብ የአምሮ ለዝንቱ ወለዝንቱሰ አርዌ ዘርኢከ ሰብዐቱ አርእስቲሁ ዝንቱ ሰብዐቱ አርእስት ሰብዐቱ አድባር እሙንቱ እለ ዲቤሆሙ ትነብር ዛቲ ብእሲት።
智慧的心在此可以思想。那七頭就是女人所坐的七座山，
Here is the mind that has wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits.
17:10
ወሰብዐቱ አድባር ሰብዐቱ ነገሥት እሙንቱ ወኀምስቱ ወድቁ ወአሐዱ ባሕቲቱ ሀለወ ወአሐዱ ኢመጽአ ዓዲ ወሶበ መጽአ ይነብር ኅዳጠ መዋዕለ።
又是七位王；五位已經傾倒了，一位還在，一位還沒有來到；他來的時候，必須暫時存留。
They are seven kings. Five have fallen, the one is, and the other has not yet come. When he comes, he must continue a little while.
17:11
ወዝክቱኒ አርዌ ዘሀለወ ወኢሀለወ ሳምኖሙ ውእቱ ወምስለ እሉ ሰብዐቱ ውእቱ የሐውር ለሙስና።
那先前有如今沒有的獸，就是第八位；他也和那七位同列，並且歸於沉淪。
The beast that was, and is not, is himself also an eighth, and is of the seven; and he goes to destruction.
17:12
ወእሉሰ ዐሠርቱ አቅርንቲሁ ዘርኢከ ዐሠርቱ ነገሥት እሙንቱ እለ ዓዲ ኢጸንዐት መንግሥቶሙ ወባሕቱ ከመ ነገሥት ሥልጣን ቦሙ ለአሐቲ ሰዓት ወይትነሥኡ ምስለ ዝኩ አርዌ።
你所看見的那十角就是十王；他們還沒有得國，但他們一時之間要和獸同得權柄，與王一樣。
The ten horns that you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority as kings with the beast for one hour.
17:13
ወአሐዱ ምክሮሙ ወኀይሎሙ ወሥልጣኖሙ አግብኡ ለዝክቱ አርዌ።
他們同心合意將自己的能力、權柄給那獸。
These have one mind, and they give their power and authority to the beast.
17:14
ወይጻብኡ ምስለ በግዑ ወይመውኦሙ በግዑ እስመ እግዚአ አጋእዝት ውእቱ ወንጉሠ ነገሥት ውእቱ ወእለ ምስሌሁኒ ስሙያን ወኅሩያን ወመሃይምናን እሙንቱ።
他們與羔羊爭戰，羔羊必勝過他們，因為羔羊是萬主之主、萬王之王。同着羔羊的，就是蒙召、被選、有忠心的，也必得勝。」
These will war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for he is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with him are called, chosen, and faithful.”
17:15
ወዝንቱ ማያት ዘርኢከ ዘኀቤሆሙ ትነብር ዛቲ ብእሲት ዘማ አሕዛብ ወሕዝብ ወበሐውርት ወሰብእ እሙንቱ።
天使又對我說：「你所看見那淫婦坐的眾水，就是多民、多人、多國、多方。
He said to me, “The waters which you saw, where the prostitute sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and languages.
17:16
ወዝንቱ ዐሠርቱ አቅርንቲሁ ወዝንቱኒ አርዌ ዘርኢከ ይጸንሕዋ እሙንቱ ለዛቲ ዘማ ወያማስንዋ ወያዐርቅዋ ወይበልዕዋ ሥጋሃ ወኪያሃሰ ያውዕይዋ በእሳት።
你所看見的那十角與獸必恨這淫婦，使她冷落赤身，又要吃她的肉，用火將她燒盡。
The ten horns which you saw, they and the beast will hate the prostitute, will make her desolate, will strip her naked, will eat her flesh, and will burn her utterly with fire.
17:17
እስመ እግዚአብሔር ወደየ ውስተ ልቦሙ ከመ ይኅበሩ በአሐዱ ምክር ወያግብኡ መንግሥቶሙ ለዝክቱ አርዌ እስከ አመ ይትፌጸም ቃለ እግዚአብሔር።
因為上帝使諸王同心合意，遵行他的旨意，把自己的國給那獸，直等到上帝的話都應驗了。
For God has put in their hearts to do what he has in mind, to be of one mind, and to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God should be accomplished.
17:18
ወዛቲ ብእሲት እንተ ርኢካ ሀገር ዐባይ ይእቲ እንተ ትነግሥ ላዕለ መንግሥታተ ምድር።
你所看見的那女人就是管轄地上眾王的大城。」
The woman whom you saw is the great city which reigns over the kings of the earth.”
