14:1
Pereat Samaria, quoniam ad amaritudinem concitavit Deum suum ! in gladio pereant, parvuli eorum elidantur, et foetae ejus discindantur !
以色列啊，你要歸向耶和華－你的上帝； 你是因自己的罪孽跌倒了。
Israel, return to Yahweh your God; for you have fallen because of your sin.
14:2
Convertere, Israël, ad Dominum Deum tuum, quoniam corruisti in iniquitate tua.
當歸向耶和華， 用言語禱告他說： 求你除淨罪孽，悅納善行； 這樣，我們就把嘴唇的祭代替牛犢獻上。
Take words with you, and return to Yahweh. Tell him, “Forgive all our sins, and accept that which is good; so we offer bulls as we vowed of our lips.
14:3
Tollite vobiscum verba, et convertimini ad Dominum ; et dicite ei : Omnem aufer iniquitatem, accipe bonum, et reddemus vitulos labiorum nostrorum.
我們不向亞述求救， 不騎埃及的馬， 也不再對我們手所造的說： 你是我們的上帝。 因為孤兒在你－耶和華那裏得蒙憐憫。
Assyria can’t save us. We won’t ride on horses; neither will we say any more to the work of our hands, ‘Our gods!’ for in you the fatherless finds mercy.”
14:4
Assur non salvabit nos : super equum non ascendemus, nec dicemus ultra, Dii nostri opera manuum nostrarum : quia ejus, qui in te est, misereberis pupilli.
我必醫治他們背道的病， 甘心愛他們； 因為我的怒氣向他們轉消。
“I will heal their waywardness. I will love them freely; for my anger is turned away from them.
14:5
Sanabo contritiones eorum ; diligam eos spontanee : quia aversus est furor meus ab eis.
我必向以色列如甘露； 他必如百合花開放， 如黎巴嫩的樹木扎根。
I will be like the dew to Israel. He will blossom like the lily, and send down his roots like Lebanon.
14:6
Ero quasi ros ; Israël germinabit sicut lilium, et erumpet radix ejus ut Libani.
他的枝條必延長； 他的榮華如橄欖樹； 他的香氣如黎巴嫩的香柏樹。
His branches will spread, and his beauty will be like the olive tree, and his fragrance like Lebanon.
14:7
Ibunt rami ejus, et erit quasi oliva gloria ejus, et odor ejus ut Libani.
曾住在他蔭下的必歸回， 發旺如五穀，開花如葡萄樹。 他的香氣如黎巴嫩的酒。
Men will dwell in his shade. They will revive like the grain, and blossom like the vine. Their fragrance will be like the wine of Lebanon.
14:8
Convertentur sedentes in umbra ejus ; vivent tritico, et germinabunt quasi vinea ; memoriale ejus sicut vinum Libani.
以法蓮必說： 我與偶像還有甚麼關涉呢？ 我－耶和華回答他，也必顧念他。 我如青翠的松樹； 你的果子從我而得。
Ephraim, what have I to do any more with idols? I answer, and will take care of him. I am like a green cypress tree; from me your fruit is found.”
14:9
Ephraim, quid mihi ultra idola ? Ego exaudiam, et dirigam eum ego ut abietem virentem ; ex me fructus tuus inventus est.
誰是智慧人？可以明白這些事； 誰是通達人？可以知道這一切。 因為，耶和華的道是正直的； 義人必在其中行走， 罪人卻在其上跌倒。
Who is wise, that he may understand these things? Who is prudent, that he may know them? For the ways of Yahweh are right, and the righteous walk in them, but the rebellious stumble in them.
14:10
Quis sapiens, et intelliget ista ? intelligens, et sciet haec ? quia rectae viae Domini, et justi ambulabunt in eis ; praevaricatores vero corruent in eis.
誰是智慧人？可以明白這些事； 誰是通達人？可以知道這一切。 因為，耶和華的道是正直的； 義人必在其中行走， 罪人卻在其上跌倒。
Who is wise, that he may understand these things? Who is prudent, that he may know them? For the ways of Yahweh are right, and the righteous walk in them, but the rebellious stumble in them.
