11:1
Sicut mane transiit, pertransiit rex Israël. Quia puer Israël, et dilexi eum ; et ex Aegypto vocavi filium meum.
以色列年幼的時候，我愛他， 就從埃及召出我的兒子來。
“When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt.
11:2
Vocaverunt eos, sic abierunt a facie eorum ; Baalim immolabant, et simulacris sacrificabant.
先知越發招呼他們， 他們越發走開， 向諸巴力獻祭， 給雕刻的偶像燒香。
They called to them, so they went from them. They sacrificed to the Baals, and burned incense to engraved images.
11:3
Et ego quasi nutritius Ephraim : portabam eos in brachiis meis, et nescierunt quod curarem eos.
我原教導以法蓮行走， 用膀臂抱着他們， 他們卻不知道是我醫治他們。
Yet I taught Ephraim to walk. I took them by their arms, but they didn’t know that I healed them.
11:4
In funiculis Adam traham eos, in vinculis caritatis ; et ero eis quasi exaltans jugum super maxillas eorum, et declinavi ad eum ut vesceretur.
我用慈繩 愛索牽引他們； 我待他們如人放鬆牛的兩腮夾板， 把糧食放在他們面前。
I drew them with cords of a man, with ties of love; and I was to them like those who lift up the yoke on their necks; and I bent down to him and I fed him.
11:5
Non revertetur in terram Aegypti, et Assur ipse rex ejus, quoniam noluerunt converti.
他們必不歸回埃及地， 亞述人卻要作他們的王， 因他們不肯歸向我。
“They won’t return into the land of Egypt; but the Assyrian will be their king, because they refused to repent.
11:6
Coepit gladius in civitatibus ejus, et consumet electos ejus, et comedet capita eorum.
刀劍必臨到他們的城邑， 毀壞門閂，把人吞滅， 都因他們隨從自己的計謀。
The sword will fall on their cities, and will destroy the bars of their gates, and will put an end to their plans.
11:7
Et populus meus pendebit ad reditum meum ; jugum autem imponetur eis simul, quod non auferetur.
我的民偏要背道離開我； 眾先知雖然招呼他們歸向至上的主， 卻無人尊崇主。
My people are determined to turn from me. Though they call to the Most High, he certainly won’t exalt them.
11:8
Quomodo dabo te, Ephraim ? protegam te, Israël ? Quomodo dabo te sicut Adama, ponam te ut Seboim ? Conversum est in me cor meum, pariter conturbata est poenitudo mea.
以法蓮哪，我怎能捨棄你？ 以色列啊，我怎能棄絕你？ 我怎能使你如押瑪？ 怎能使你如洗扁？ 我回心轉意， 我的憐愛大大發動。
“How can I give you up, Ephraim? How can I hand you over, Israel? How can I make you like Admah? How can I make you like Zeboiim? My heart is turned within me, my compassion is aroused.
11:9
Non faciam furorem irae meae ; non convertar ut disperdam Ephraim, quoniam Deus ego, et non homo ; in medio tui sanctus, et non ingrediar civitatem.
我必不發猛烈的怒氣， 也不再毀滅以法蓮。 因我是上帝，並非世人， 是你們中間的聖者； 我必不在怒中臨到你們。
I will not execute the fierceness of my anger. I will not return to destroy Ephraim, for I am God, and not man—the Holy One among you. I will not come in wrath.
11:10
Post Dominum ambulabunt ; quasi leo rugiet, quia ipse rugiet, et formidabunt filii maris.
耶和華必如獅子吼叫， 子民必跟隨他。 他一吼叫， 他們就從西方急速而來。
They will walk after Yahweh, who will roar like a lion; for he will roar, and the children will come trembling from the west.
11:11
Et avolabunt quasi avis ex Aegypto, et quasi columba de terra Assyriorum : et collocabo eos in domibus suis, dicit Dominus.
他們必如雀鳥從埃及急速而來， 又如鴿子從亞述地來到。 我必使他們住自己的房屋。 這是耶和華說的。
They will come trembling like a bird out of Egypt, and like a dove out of the land of Assyria; and I will settle them in their houses,” says Yahweh.
11:12
Circumdedit me in negatione Ephraim, et in dolo domus Israël ; Judas autem testis descendit cum Deo, et cum sanctis fidelis.
以法蓮用謊話， 以色列家用詭計圍繞我； 猶大卻靠上帝掌權， 向聖者有忠心 。
Ephraim surrounds me with falsehood, and the house of Israel with deceit. Judah still strays from God, and is unfaithful to the Holy One.
