6:1
Jericho autem clausa erat atque munita, timore filiorum Israël, et nullus egredi audebat aut ingredi.
耶利哥的城門因以色列人就關得嚴緊，無人出入。
Now Jericho was tightly shut up because of the children of Israel. No one went out, and no one came in.
6:2
Dixitque Dominus ad Josue : Ecce dedi in manu tua Jericho, et regem ejus, omnesque fortes viros.
耶和華曉諭約書亞說：「看哪，我已經把耶利哥和耶利哥的王，並大能的勇士，都交在你手中。
Yahweh said to Joshua, “Behold, I have given Jericho into your hand, with its king and the mighty men of valor.
6:3
Circuite urbem cuncti bellatores semel per diem : sic facietis sex diebus.
你們的一切兵丁要圍繞這城，一日圍繞一次，六日都要這樣行。
All of your men of war shall march around the city, going around the city once. You shall do this six days.
6:4
Septimo autem die, sacerdotes tollant septem buccinas, quarum usus est in jubilaeo, et praecedant arcam foederis : septiesque circuibitis civitatem, et sacerdotes clangent buccinis.
七個祭司要拿七個羊角走在約櫃前。到第七日，你們要繞城七次，祭司也要吹角。
Seven priests shall bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark. On the seventh day, you shall march around the city seven times, and the priests shall blow the trumpets.
6:5
Cumque insonuerit vox tubae longior atque concisior, et in auribus vestris increpuerit, conclamabit omnis populus vociferatione maxima, et muri funditus corruent civitatis, ingredienturque singuli per locum contra quem steterint.
他們吹的角聲拖長，你們聽見角聲，眾百姓要大聲呼喊，城牆就必塌陷，各人都要往前直上。」
It shall be that when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, and when you hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; then the city wall will fall down flat, and the people shall go up, every man straight in front of him.”
6:6
Vocavit ergo Josue filius Nun sacerdotes, et dixit ad eos : Tollite arcam foederis : et septem alii sacerdotes tollant septem jubilaeorum buccinas, et incedant ante arcam Domini.
嫩的兒子約書亞召了祭司來，吩咐他們說：「你們抬起約櫃來，要有七個祭司拿七個羊角走在耶和華的約櫃前」；
Joshua the son of Nun called the priests, and said to them, “Take up the ark of the covenant, and let seven priests bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before Yahweh’s ark.”
6:7
Ad populum quoque ait : Ite, et circuite civitatem, armati, praecedentes arcam Domini.
又對百姓說：「你們前去繞城，帶兵器的要走在耶和華的約櫃前。」
They said to the people, “Advance! March around the city, and let the armed men pass on before Yahweh’s ark.”
6:8
Cumque Josue verba finisset, et septem sacerdotes septem buccinis clangerent ante arcam foederis Domini,
約書亞對百姓說完了話，七個祭司拿七個羊角走在耶和華面前吹角；耶和華的約櫃在他們後面跟隨。
It was so, that when Joshua had spoken to the people, the seven priests bearing the seven trumpets of rams’ horns before Yahweh advanced and blew the trumpets, and the ark of Yahweh’s covenant followed them.
6:9
omnisque praecederet armatus exercitus, reliquum vulgus arcam sequebatur, ac buccinis omnia concrepabant.
帶兵器的走在吹角的祭司前面，後隊隨着約櫃行。祭司一面走一面吹。
The armed men went before the priests who blew the trumpets, and the ark went after them. The trumpets sounded as they went.
6:10
Praeceperat autem Josue populo, dicens : Non clamabitis, nec audietur vox vestra, neque ullus sermo ex ore vestro egredietur, donec veniat dies in quo dicam vobis : Clamate, et vociferamini.
約書亞吩咐百姓說：「你們不可呼喊，不可出聲，連一句話也不可出你們的口，等到我吩咐你們呼喊的日子，那時才可以呼喊。」
Joshua commanded the people, saying, “You shall not shout nor let your voice be heard, neither shall any word proceed out of your mouth until the day I tell you to shout. Then you shall shout.”
6:11
Circuivit ergo arca Domini civitatem semel per diem, et reversa in castra mansit ibi.
這樣，他使耶和華的約櫃繞城，把城繞了一次；眾人回到營裏，就在營裏住宿。
So he caused Yahweh’s ark to go around the city, circling it once. Then they came into the camp, and stayed in the camp.
6:12
Igitur Josue de nocte consurgente, tulerunt sacerdotes arcam Domini,
約書亞清早起來，祭司又抬起耶和華的約櫃。
Joshua rose early in the morning, and the priests took up Yahweh’s ark.
6:13
et septem ex eis septem buccinas, quarum in jubilaeo usus est : praecedebantque arcam Domini ambulantes atque clangentes : et armatus populus ibat ante eos, vulgus autem reliquum sequebatur arcam, et buccinis personabat.
七個祭司拿七個羊角在耶和華的約櫃前，時常行走吹角；帶兵器的在他們前面走，後隊隨着耶和華的約櫃行。祭司一面走一面吹。
The seven priests bearing the seven trumpets of rams’ horns in front of Yahweh’s ark went on continually, and blew the trumpets. The armed men went in front of them. The rear guard came after Yahweh’s ark. The trumpets sounded as they went.
6:14
Circuieruntque civitatem secundo die semel, et reversi sunt in castra. Sic fecerunt sex diebus.
第二日，眾人把城繞了一次，就回營裏去。六日都是這樣行。
The second day they marched around the city once, and returned into the camp. They did this six days.
6:15
Dies autem septimo, diluculo consurgentes, circuierunt urbem, sicut dispositum erat, septies.
第七日清早，黎明的時候，他們起來，照樣繞城七次；惟獨這日把城繞了七次。
On the seventh day, they rose early at the dawning of the day, and marched around the city in the same way seven times. On this day only they marched around the city seven times.
6:16
Cumque septimo circuitu clangerent buccinis sacerdotes, dixit Josue ad omnem Israël : Vociferamini : tradidit enim vobis Dominus civitatem.
到了第七次，祭司吹角的時候，約書亞吩咐百姓說：「呼喊吧，因為耶和華已經把城交給你們了！
At the seventh time, when the priests blew the trumpets, Joshua said to the people, “Shout, for Yahweh has given you the city!
6:17
Sitque civitas haec anathema, et omnia quae in ea sunt, Domino : sola Rahab meretrix vivat, cum universis qui cum ea in domo sunt : abscondit enim nuntios quos direximus.
這城和其中所有的都要在耶和華面前毀滅；只有妓女喇合與她家中所有的可以存活，因為她隱藏了我們所打發的使者。
The city shall be devoted, even it and all that is in it, to Yahweh. Only Rahab the prostitute shall live, she and all who are with her in the house, because she hid the messengers that we sent.
6:18
Vos autem cavete ne de his, quae praecepta sunt, quippiam contingatis, et sitis praevaricationis rei, et omnia castra Israël sub peccato sint atque turbentur.
至於你們，務要謹慎，不可取那當滅的物，恐怕你們取了那當滅的物就連累以色列的全營，使全營受咒詛。
But as for you, only keep yourselves from what is devoted to destruction, lest when you have devoted it, you take of the devoted thing; so you would make the camp of Israel accursed and trouble it.
6:19
Quidquid autem auri et argenti fuerit, et vasorum aeneorum ac ferri, Domino consecretur, repositum in thesauris ejus.
惟有金子、銀子，和銅鐵的器皿都要歸耶和華為聖，必入耶和華的庫中。」
But all the silver, gold, and vessels of bronze and iron are holy to Yahweh. They shall come into Yahweh’s treasury.”
6:20
Igitur omni populo vociferante, et clangentibus tubis, postquam in aures multitudinis vox sonitusque increpuit, muri illico corruerunt : et ascendit unusquisque per locum qui contra se erat : ceperuntque civitatem,
於是百姓呼喊，祭司也吹角。百姓聽見角聲，便大聲呼喊，城牆就塌陷，百姓便上去進城，各人往前直上，將城奪取；
So the people shouted and the priests blew the trumpets. When the people heard the sound of the trumpet, the people shouted with a great shout, and the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight in front of him, and they took the city.
6:21
et interfecerunt omnia quae erant in ea, a viro usque ad mulierem, ab infante usque ad senem. Boves quoque et oves et asinos in ore gladii percusserunt.
又將城中所有的，不拘男女老少，牛羊和驢，都用刀殺盡。
They utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, both young and old, and ox, sheep, and donkey, with the edge of the sword.
6:22
Duobus autem viris, qui exploratores missi fuerant, dixit Josue : Ingredimini domum mulieris meretricis, et producite eam, et omnia quae illius sunt, sicut illi juramento firmastis.
約書亞吩咐窺探地的兩個人說：「你們進那妓女的家，照着你們向她所起的誓，將那女人和她所有的都從那裏帶出來。」
Joshua said to the two men who had spied out the land, “Go into the prostitute’s house, and bring the woman and all that she has out from there, as you swore to her.”
6:23
Ingressique juvenes eduxerunt Rahab, et parentes ejus, fratres quoque, et cunctam supellectilem ac cognationem illius, et extra castra Israël manere fecerunt.
當探子的兩個少年人就進去，將喇合與她的父母、弟兄，和她所有的，並她一切的親眷，都帶出來，安置在以色列的營外。
The young men who were spies went in, and brought out Rahab with her father, her mother, her brothers, and all that she had. They also brought out all of her relatives, and they set them outside of the camp of Israel.
6:24
Urbem autem, et omnia quae erant in ea, succenderunt, absque auro et argento, et vasis aeneis, ac ferro, quae in aerarium Domini consecrarunt.
眾人就用火將城和其中所有的焚燒了；惟有金子、銀子，和銅鐵的器皿都放在耶和華殿的庫中。
They burned the city with fire, and all that was in it. Only they put the silver, the gold, and the vessels of bronze and of iron into the treasury of Yahweh’s house.
6:25
Rahab vero meretricem, et domum patris ejus, et omnia quae habebat, fecit Josue vivere, et habitaverunt in medio Israël, usque in praesentem diem : eo quod absconderit nuntios, quos miserat ut explorarent Jericho. In tempore illo, imprecatus est Josue, dicens :
約書亞卻把妓女喇合與她父家，並她所有的，都救活了；因為她隱藏了約書亞所打發窺探耶利哥的使者，她就住在以色列中，直到今日。
But Rahab the prostitute, her father’s household, and all that she had, Joshua saved alive. She lives in the middle of Israel to this day, because she hid the messengers whom Joshua sent to spy out Jericho.
6:26
Maledictus vir coram Domino, qui suscitaverit et aedificaverit civitatem Jericho. In primogenito suo fundamenta illius jaciat, et in novissimo liberorum ponat portas ejus.
當時，約書亞叫眾人起誓說：「有興起重修這耶利哥城的人，當在耶和華面前受咒詛。 他立根基的時候，必喪長子， 安門的時候，必喪幼子。」
Joshua commanded them with an oath at that time, saying, “Cursed is the man before Yahweh who rises up and builds this city Jericho. With the loss of his firstborn he will lay its foundation, and with the loss of his youngest son he will set up its gates.”
6:27
Fuit ergo Dominus cum Josue, et nomen ejus vulgatum est in omni terra.
耶和華與約書亞同在，約書亞的聲名傳揚遍地。
So Yahweh was with Joshua; and his fame was in all the land.
