81:0 ⧉ ⤴︎ לַמְנַצֵּ֬חַ ׀עַֽל ־הַגִּתִּ֬ית לְאָסָֽף ׃
εἰς τὸ τέλος ὑπὲρ τῶν ληνῶν τῷ Ασαφ ψαλμός
In finem , pro torcularibus . Psalmus ipsi Asaph .

81:1 ⧉ ⤴︎ הַ֭רְנִינוּ לֵאלֹהִ֣ים עוּזֵּ֑נוּ הָ֝רִ֗יעוּ לֵאלֹהֵ֥י יַעֲקֹֽב ׃
ἀγαλλιᾶσθε τῷ θεῷ τῷ βοηθῷ ἡμῶν ἀλαλάξατε τῷ θεῷ Ιακωβ
Exsultate Deo adjutori nostro ; jubilate Deo Jacob .
— Sing aloud to God, our strength! Make a joyful shout to the God of Jacob!
81:2 ⧉ ⤴︎ שְֽׂאוּ ־זִ֭מְרָה וּתְנוּ ־תֹ֑ף כִּנּ֖וֹר נָעִ֣ים עִם ־נָֽבֶל ׃
λάβετε ψαλμὸν καὶ δότε τύμπανον ψαλτήριον τερπνὸν μετὰ κιθάρας
Sumite psalmum , et date tympanum ; psalterium jucundum cum cithara .
ፍጻሜ ፡ ዘበእንተ ፡ ማኅበብት ፡ ዘአሳፍ ፡ መዝሙር ፡ ዘኃምስቱ ፡ ሰንበት ። ተፈሥሑ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ ዘረድአነ ፤ ወየብቡ ፡ ለአምላከ ፡ ያዕቆብ ።
Raise a song, and bring here the tambourine, the pleasant lyre with the harp.
81:3 ⧉ ⤴︎ תִּקְע֣וּ בַחֹ֣דֶשׁ שׁוֹפָ֑ר בַּ֝כֵּ֗סֶה לְי֣וֹם חַגֵּֽנוּ ׃
σαλπίσατε ἐν νεομηνίᾳ σάλπιγγι ἐν εὐσήμῳ ἡμέρᾳ ἑορτῆς ἡμῶν
Buccinate in neomenia tuba , in insigni die solemnitatis vestrae :
ንሥኡ ፡ መዝሙር ፡ ወሀቡ ፡ ከበሮ ፤ መዝሙር ፡ ሐዋዝ ፡ ምስለ ፡ መሰንቆ ።
Blow the trumpet at the New Moon, at the full moon, on our feast day.
81:4 ⧉ ⤴︎ כִּ֤י חֹ֣ק לְיִשְׂרָאֵ֣ל ה֑וּא מִ֝שְׁפָּ֗ט לֵאלֹהֵ֥י יַעֲקֹֽב ׃
ὅτι πρόσταγμα τῷ Ισραηλ ἐστὶν καὶ κρίμα τῷ θεῷ Ιακωβ
quia praeceptum in Israël est , et judicium Deo Jacob .
ንፍኁ ፡ ቀርነ ፡ በዕለተ ፡ ሠርቅ ፤ በእምርት ፡ ዕለት ፡ በዓልነ ።
For it is a statute for Israel, an ordinance of the God of Jacob.
81:5 ⧉ ⤴︎ עֵד֤וּת ׀ בִּיה֘וֹסֵ֤ף שָׂמ֗וֹ בְּ֭צֵאתוֹ עַל ־אֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרָ֑יִם שְׂפַ֖ת לֹא ־יָדַ֣עְתִּי אֶשְׁמָֽע ׃
μαρτύριον ἐν τῷ Ιωσηφ ἔθετο αὐτὸν ἐν τῷ ἐξελθεῖν αὐτὸν ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου γλῶσσαν ἣν οὐκ ἔγνω ἤκουσεν
Testimonium in Joseph posuit illud , cum exiret de terra Aegypti ; linguam quam non noverat , audivit .
እስመ ፡ ሥርዐቱ ፡ ለእስራኤል ፡ ውእቱ ፤ ወፍትሑ ፡ ለአምላከ ፡ ያዕቆብ ።
He appointed it in Joseph for a covenant, when he went out over the land of Egypt, I heard a language that I didn’t know.
81:6 ⧉ ⤴︎ הֲסִיר֣וֹתִי מִסֵּ֣בֶל שִׁכְמ֑וֹ כַּ֝פָּ֗יו מִדּ֥וּד תַּעֲבֹֽרְנָה ׃
ἀπέστησεν ἀπὸ ἄρσεων τὸν νῶτον αὐτοῦ αἱ χεῖρες αὐτοῦ ἐν τῷ κοφίνῳ ἐδούλευσαν
Divertit ab oneribus dorsum ejus ; manus ejus in cophino servierunt .
ወአቀመ ፡ ስምዐ ፡ ለዮሴፍ ፡ አመ ፡ የሐውር ፡ ብሔረ ፡ ግብጽ ፤ ወሰምዐ ፡ ልሳነ ፡ ዘኢያአምር ።
“I removed his shoulder from the burden. His hands were freed from the basket.
81:7 ⧉ ⤴︎ בַּצָּרָ֥ה קָרָ֗אתָ וָאֲחַ֫לְּצֶ֥ךָּ אֶ֭עֶנְךָ בְּסֵ֣תֶר רַ֑עַם אֶבְחׇנְךָ֨ עַל ־מֵ֖י מְרִיבָ֣ה סֶֽלָה ׃
ἐν θλίψει ἐπεκαλέσω με καὶ ἐρρυσάμην σε ἐπήκουσά σου ἐν ἀποκρύφῳ καταιγίδος ἐδοκίμασά σε ἐπὶ ὕδατος ἀντιλογίας διάψαλμα
In tribulatione invocasti me , et liberavi te . Exaudivi te in abscondito tempestatis ; probavi te apud aquam contradictionis .
ወሜጠ ፡ ዘባኖ ፡ እምሕራማቲሆሙ ፤ ወተቀንያ ፡ እደዊሁ ፡ ውስተ ፡ አክፋር ።
You called in trouble, and I delivered you. I answered you in the secret place of thunder. I tested you at the waters of Meribah.” Selah.
81:8 ⧉ ⤴︎ שְׁמַ֣ע עַ֭מִּי וְאָעִ֣ידָה בָּ֑ךְ יִ֝שְׂרָאֵ֗ל אִם ־תִּֽשְׁמַֽע ־לִֽי ׃
ἄκουσον λαός μου καὶ διαμαρτύρομαί σοι Ισραηλ ἐὰν ἀκούσῃς μου
Audi , populus meus , et contestabor te . Israël , si audieris me ,
ወምንዳቤከ ፡ ጸዋዕከኒ ፡ ወአድኀንኩከ ፤ ወተሰጠውኩከ ፡ በዐውሎ ፡ ኅቡእ ፡ ወአመከርኩከ ፡ በኀበ ፡ ማየ ፡ ቅሥት ።
“Hear, my people, and I will testify to you, Israel, if you would listen to me!
81:9 ⧉ ⤴︎ לֹא ־יִהְיֶ֣ה בְ֭ךָ אֵ֣ל זָ֑ר וְלֹ֥א תִ֝שְׁתַּחֲוֶ֗ה לְאֵ֣ל נֵכָֽר ׃
οὐκ ἔσται ἐν σοὶ θεὸς πρόσφατος οὐδὲ προσκυνήσεις θεῷ ἀλλοτρίῳ
non erit in te deus recens , neque adorabis deum alienum .
ስምዐኒ ፡ ሕዝብየ ፡ ወእንግርከ ፤ እስራኤል ፡ ወኣስምዕ ፡ ለከ ። እመሰ ፡ ሰማዕከኒ ፡ ኢይከውነከ ፡ አምላከ ፡ ግብት ፤ ወኢትስግድ ፡ ለአምላክ ፡ ነኪር ።
There shall be no strange god in you, neither shall you worship any foreign god.
81:10 ⧉ ⤴︎ אָֽנֹכִ֨י ׀ יְ֘הֹוָ֤ה אֱלֹהֶ֗יךָ הַֽ֭מַּעַלְךָ מֵאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרָ֑יִם הַרְחֶב ־פִּ֝֗יךָ וַאֲמַלְאֵֽהוּ ׃
ἐγὼ γάρ εἰμι κύριος ὁ θεός σου ὁ ἀναγαγών σε ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου πλάτυνον τὸ στόμα σου καὶ πληρώσω αὐτό
Ego enim sum Dominus Deus tuus , qui eduxi te de terra Aegypti . Dilata os tuum , et implebo illud .
እስመ ፡ አነ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክከ ፡ ዘአውፃእኩከ ፡ እምድረ ፡ ግብጽ ፤ አርሕብ ፡ አፉከ ፡ ወእነልኦ ፡ ለከ ።
I am Yahweh, your God, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt. Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it.
81:11 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְלֹא ־שָׁמַ֣ע עַמִּ֣י לְקוֹלִ֑י וְ֝יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל לֹא ־אָ֥בָה לִֽי ׃
καὶ οὐκ ἤκουσεν ὁ λαός μου τῆς φωνῆς μου καὶ Ισραηλ οὐ προσέσχεν μοι
Et non audivit populus meus vocem meam , et Israël non intendit mihi .
ወኢሰምዑኒ ፡ ሕዝብየ ፡ ቃልየ ፤ ወእስራኤልኒ ፡ ኢያፅምኡኒ ።
But my people didn’t listen to my voice. Israel desired none of me.
81:12 ⧉ ⤴︎ וָ֭אֲשַׁלְּחֵהוּ בִּשְׁרִיר֣וּת לִבָּ֑ם יֵ֝לְכ֗וּ בְּֽמוֹעֲצ֖וֹתֵיהֶֽם ׃
καὶ ἐξαπέστειλα αὐτοὺς κατὰ τὰ ἐπιτηδεύματα τῶν καρδιῶν αὐτῶν πορεύσονται ἐν τοῖς ἐπιτηδεύμασιν αὐτῶν
Et dimisi eos secundum desideria cordis eorum ; ibunt in adinventionibus suis .
ወፈነውኩ ፡ ሎሙ ፡ በከመ ፡ ምግባሮሙ ፤ ወሖሩ ፡ በሕሊና ፡ ልቦመ ።
So I let them go after the stubbornness of their hearts, that they might walk in their own counsels.
81:13 ⧉ ⤴︎ ל֗וּ עַ֭מִּי שֹׁמֵ֣עַֽ לִ֑י יִ֝שְׂרָאֵ֗ל בִּדְרָכַ֥י יְהַלֵּֽכוּ ׃
εἰ ὁ λαός μου ἤκουσέν μου Ισραηλ ταῖς ὁδοῖς μου εἰ ἐπορεύθη
Si populus meus audisset me , Israël si in viis meis ambulasset ,
ሶበሰ ፡ ሰምዑኒ ፡ ሕዝብየ ፡ ቃልየ ፤ ወእስራኤልኒ ፡ ሶበ ፡ ሖሩ ፡ በፍኖትየ ።
Oh that my people would listen to me, that Israel would walk in my ways!
81:14 ⧉ ⤴︎ כִּ֭מְעַט אוֹיְבֵיהֶ֣ם אַכְנִ֑יעַ וְעַ֥ל צָ֝רֵיהֶ֗ם אָשִׁ֥יב יָדִֽי ׃
ἐν τῷ μηδενὶ ἂν τοὺς ἐχθροὺς αὐτῶν ἐταπείνωσα καὶ ἐπὶ τοὺς θλίβοντας αὐτοὺς ἐπέβαλον τὴν χεῖρά μου
pro nihilo forsitan inimicos eorum humiliassem , et super tribulantes eos misissem manum meam .
እምአኅሰርክዎሙ ፡ በኵሉ ፡ ለጸላእቶሙ ፤ ወእምወደይኩ ፡ እዴየ ፡ ዲበ ፡ እለ ፡ ይሣቅይዎሙ ።
I would soon subdue their enemies, and turn my hand against their adversaries.
81:15 ⧉ ⤴︎ מְשַׂנְאֵ֣י יְ֭הֹוָה יְכַחֲשׁוּ ־ל֑וֹ וִיהִ֖י עִתָּ֣ם לְעוֹלָֽם ׃
οἱ ἐχθροὶ κυρίου ἐψεύσαντο αὐτῷ καὶ ἔσται ὁ καιρὸς αὐτῶν εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα
Inimici Domini mentiti sunt ei , et erit tempus eorum in saecula .
ጸላእቱሰ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ ሐሰውዎ ፤ ወይከውን ፡ ጊዜሆሙ ፡ እስከ ፡ ለዓለም ።
The haters of Yahweh would cringe before him, and their punishment would last forever.
81:16 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַֽ֭יַּאֲכִילֵהוּ מֵחֵ֣לֶב חִטָּ֑ה וּ֝מִצּ֗וּר דְּבַ֣שׁ אַשְׂבִּיעֶֽךָ ׃ {פ}
καὶ ἐψώμισεν αὐτοὺς ἐκ στέατος πυροῦ καὶ ἐκ πέτρας μέλι ἐχόρτασεν αὐτούς
Et cibavit eos ex adipe frumenti , et de petra melle saturavit eos .
ወሴሰዮሙ ፡ ሥብሐ ፡ ስርናይ ፤ ወአጽገቦሙ ፡ መዓረ ፡ እምኰኵሕ ።
But he would have also fed them with the finest of the wheat. I will satisfy you with honey out of the rock.”
