6:1

ወናስተበቍዕሂ ኀቤክሙ ወንረድእሂ ተወከፉ ለነ ወኢትረስይዋ ለከንቱ ለጸጋ እግዚአብሔር እንተ ነሣእክሙ።

Working together, we entreat also that you do not receive the grace of God in vain.

我們與上帝同工的，也勸你們不可徒受他的恩典。

6:2

እስመ ከመዝ ይቤ «በዕለት ኅሪት እሰምዐከ ወበዕለተ መድኀኒት እረድአከ» ወናሁ ይእዜ ዕለት ኅሪት ወናሁ ዮም ዕለተ አድኅኖት።

For he says, “At an acceptable time I listened to you. In a day of salvation I helped you.” Behold, now is the acceptable time. Behold, now is the day of salvation.

因為他說：「在悅納的時候，我應允了你；在拯救的日子，我搭救了你。」看哪，現在正是悅納的時候！現在正是拯救的日子；

6:3

ዑቁ እንከ ወኢተሀቡ ለመኑሂ ዕቅፍተ ከመ ኢታልስሑ መልእክተክሙ ወኢታንውርዋ።

We give no occasion of stumbling in anything, that our service may not be blamed,

我們凡事都不叫人有妨礙，免得這職分被人毀謗；

6:4

ወበኵሉ አርትዑ ርእሰክሙ ወኩኑ ላእካነ ለእግዚአብሔር በብዙኅ ትዕግሥት በኵሉ ሕማም ወጻዕር ወምንዳቤ።

but in everything commending ourselves as servants of God: in great endurance, in afflictions, in hardships, in distresses,

反倒在各樣的事上表明自己是上帝的用人，就如在許多的忍耐、患難、窮乏、困苦、

6:5

ወበተቀሥፎ ወበተሞቅሖ ወበስራሕ ወበተሀውኮ በትጋህ ወበጾም።

in beatings, in imprisonments, in riots, in labors, in watchings, in fastings,

鞭打、監禁、擾亂、勤勞、警醒、不食、

6:6

ወበንጽሕ ወበአእምሮ በምክር ወበተዓግሦ በምሒር ወበመንፈስ ቅዱስ በፍቅር ዘእንበለ አድልዎ።

in pureness, in knowledge, in perseverance, in kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in sincere love,

廉潔、知識、恆忍、恩慈、聖靈的感化、無偽的愛心、

6:7

በነገረ ጽድቅ ዘእንበለ ኑፋቄ በኀይለ እግዚአብሔር ወወልታ ጽድቅ ዘእምየማን ወዘእምፀጋም።

in the word of truth, in the power of God, by the armor of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,

真實的道理、上帝的大能；仁義的兵器在左在右；

6:8

በክብር ወበኀሣር በምድኀር ወበመርገም ከመ ኃጥኣን ወጻድቃን።

by glory and dishonor, by evil report and good report, as deceivers and yet true,

榮耀、羞辱，惡名、美名；似乎是誘惑人的，卻是誠實的；

6:9

ከመ እለ ኢየአምርዎሙ ወዕዉቃን ከመ አብዳን ወጠቢባን ከመ ምዉታን ወንሕነ ሕያዋን ከመ ምንስዋን ወኢቅቱላን።

as unknown and yet well known, as dying and behold—we live, as punished and not killed,

似乎不為人所知，卻是人所共知的；似乎要死，卻是活着的；似乎受責罰，卻是不致喪命的；
