23:1
Καὶ ἀναστὰν ἅπαν τὸ πλῆθος αὐτῶν ἤγαγον αὐτὸν ἐπὶ τὸν Πειλᾶτον .
The whole company of them rose up and brought him before Pilate.
眾人都起來，把耶穌解到彼拉多面前，
23:2
ἤρξαντο δὲ κατηγορεῖν αὐτοῦ λέγοντες · τοῦτον εὕραμεν διαστρέφοντα τὸ ἔθνος ἡμῶν καὶ κωλύοντα φόρους Καίσαρι διδόναι , καὶ λέγοντα ἑαυτὸν Χριστὸν βασιλέα εἶναι .
They began to accuse him, saying, “We found this man perverting the nation, forbidding paying taxes to Caesar, and saying that he himself is Christ, a king.”
就告他說：「我們見這人誘惑國民，禁止納稅給凱撒，並說自己是基督，是王。」
23:3
ὁ δὲ Πειλᾶτος ἠρώτησεν αὐτὸν λέγων · σὺ εἶ ὁ βασιλεὺς τῶν Ἰουδαίων ; ὁ δὲ ἀποκριθεὶς αὐτῷ ἔφη · σὺ λέγεις .
Pilate asked him, “Are you the King of the Jews?” He answered him, “So you say.”
彼拉多問耶穌說：「你是猶太人的王嗎？」耶穌回答說：「你說的是。」
23:4
ὁ δὲ Πειλᾶτος εἶπεν πρὸς τοὺς ἀρχιερεῖς καὶ τοὺς ὄχλους · οὐδὲν εὑρίσκω αἴτιον ἐν τῷ ἀνθρώπῳ τούτῳ .
Pilate said to the chief priests and the multitudes, “I find no basis for a charge against this man.”
彼拉多對祭司長和眾人說：「我查不出這人有甚麼罪來。」
23:5
οἱ δὲ ἐπίσχυον λέγοντες ὅτι ἀνασείει τὸν λαόν , διδάσκων καθ’ ὅλης τῆς Ἰουδαίας καὶ ἀρξάμενος ἀπὸ τῆς Γαλιλαίας ἕως ὧδε .
But they insisted, saying, “He stirs up the people, teaching throughout all Judea, beginning from Galilee even to this place.”
但他們越發極力地說：「他煽惑百姓，在猶太遍地傳道，從加利利起，直到這裏了。」
23:6
Πειλᾶτος δὲ ἀκούσας ἐπηρώτησεν εἰ ὁ ἄνθρωπος Γαλιλαῖός ἐστιν ,
But when Pilate heard Galilee mentioned, he asked if the man was a Galilean.
彼拉多一聽見，就問：「這人是加利利人嗎？」
23:7
καὶ ἐπιγνοὺς ὅτι ἐκ τῆς ἐξουσίας Ἡρῴδου ἐστίν , ἀνέπεμψεν αὐτὸν πρὸς Ἡρῴδην , ὄντα καὶ αὐτὸν ἐν Ἱεροσολύμοις ἐν ταύταις ταῖς ἡμέραις .
When he found out that he was in Herod’s jurisdiction, he sent him to Herod, who was also in Jerusalem during those days.
既曉得耶穌屬希律所管，就把他送到希律那裏去。那時希律正在耶路撒冷。
23:8
ὁ δὲ Ἡρώδης ἰδὼν τὸν Ἰησοῦν ἐχάρη λίαν · ἦν γὰρ ἐξ ἱκανῶν χρόνων θέλων ἰδεῖν αὐτὸν διὰ τὸ ἀκούειν περὶ αὐτοῦ , καὶ ἤλπιζέν τι σημεῖον ἰδεῖν ὑπ’ αὐτοῦ γινόμενον .
Now when Herod saw Jesus, he was exceedingly glad, for he had wanted to see him for a long time, because he had heard many things about him. He hoped to see some miracle done by him.
希律看見耶穌，就很歡喜；因為聽見過他的事，久已想要見他，並且指望看他行一件神蹟，
23:9
ἐπηρώτα δὲ αὐτὸν ἐν λόγοις ἱκανοῖς · αὐτὸς δὲ οὐδὲν ἀπεκρίνατο αὐτῷ .
He questioned him with many words, but he gave no answers.
於是問他許多的話，耶穌卻一言不答。
23:10
εἱστήκεισαν δὲ οἱ ἀρχιερεῖς καὶ οἱ γραμματεῖς εὐτόνως κατηγοροῦντες αὐτοῦ .
The chief priests and the scribes stood, vehemently accusing him.
祭司長和文士都站着，極力地告他。
23:11
ἐξουθενήσας δὲ αὐτὸν καὶ ὁ Ἡρώδης σὺν τοῖς στρατεύμασιν αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐμπαίξας περιβαλὼν ἐσθῆτα λαμπρὰν ἀνέπεμψεν αὐτὸν τῷ Πειλάτῳ .
Herod with his soldiers humiliated him and mocked him. Dressing him in luxurious clothing, they sent him back to Pilate.
希律和他的兵丁就藐視耶穌，戲弄他，給他穿上華麗衣服，把他送回彼拉多那裏去。
23:12
ἐγένοντο δὲ φίλοι ὅ τε Ἡρώδης καὶ ὁ Πειλᾶτος ἐν αὐτῇ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ μετ’ ἀλλήλων · προϋπῆρχον γὰρ ἐν ἔχθρᾳ ὄντες πρὸς αὐτούς .
Herod and Pilate became friends with each other that very day, for before that they were enemies with each other.
從前希律和彼拉多彼此有仇，在那一天就成了朋友。
23:13
Πειλᾶτος δὲ συνκαλεσάμενος τοὺς ἀρχιερεῖς καὶ τοὺς ἄρχοντας καὶ τὸν λαὸν
Pilate called together the chief priests, the rulers, and the people,
彼拉多傳齊了祭司長和官府並百姓，
23:14
εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτούς · προσηνέγκατέ μοι τὸν ἄνθρωπον τοῦτον ὡς ἀποστρέφοντα τὸν λαόν , καὶ ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐνώπιον ὑμῶν ἀνακρίνας οὐθὲν εὗρον ἐν τῷ ἀνθρώπῳ τούτῳ αἴτιον ὧν κατηγορεῖτε κατ’ αὐτοῦ ,
and said to them, “You brought this man to me as one that perverts the people, and behold, having examined him before you, I found no basis for a charge against this man concerning those things of which you accuse him.
就對他們說：「你們解這人到我這裏，說他是誘惑百姓的。看哪，我也曾將你們告他的事，在你們面前審問他，並沒有查出他甚麼罪來；
23:15
ἀλλ’ οὐδὲ Ἡρώδης · ἀνέπεμψεν γὰρ αὐτὸν πρὸς ἡμᾶς · καὶ ἰδοὺ οὐδὲν ἄξιον θανάτου ἐστὶν πεπραγμένον αὐτῷ .
Neither has Herod, for I sent you to him, and see, nothing worthy of death has been done by him.
就是希律也是如此，所以把他送回來。可見他沒有做甚麼該死的事。
23:16
παιδεύσας οὖν αὐτὸν ἀπολύσω .
I will therefore chastise him and release him.”
故此，我要責打他，把他釋放了。」
23:18
ἀνέκραγον δὲ παμπληθεὶ λέγοντες · αἶρε τοῦτον , ἀπόλυσον δὲ ἡμῖν τὸν Βαραββᾶν ·
But they all cried out together, saying, “Away with this man! Release to us Barabbas!”—
眾人卻一齊喊着說：「除掉這個人！釋放巴拉巴給我們！」
23:19
ὅστις ἦν διὰ στάσιν τινὰ γενομένην ἐν τῇ πόλει καὶ φόνον βληθεὶς ἐν τῇ φυλακῇ .
one who was thrown into prison for a certain revolt in the city, and for murder.
這巴拉巴是因在城裏作亂殺人，下在監裏的。
23:20
πάλιν δὲ ὁ Πειλᾶτος προσεφώνησεν , θέλων ἀπολῦσαι τὸν Ἰησοῦν .
Then Pilate spoke to them again, wanting to release Jesus,
彼拉多願意釋放耶穌，就又勸解他們。
23:21
οἱ δὲ ἐπεφώνουν λέγοντες · σταύρου , σταύρου αὐτόν .
but they shouted, saying, “Crucify! Crucify him!”
無奈他們喊着說：「釘他十字架！釘他十字架！」
23:22
ὁ δὲ τρίτον εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτούς · τί γὰρ κακὸν ἐποίησεν οὗτος ; οὐδὲν αἴτιον θανάτου εὗρον ἐν αὐτῷ · παιδεύσας οὖν αὐτὸν ἀπολύσω .
He said to them the third time, “Why? What evil has this man done? I have found no capital crime in him. I will therefore chastise him and release him.”
彼拉多第三次對他們說：「為甚麼呢？這人做了甚麼惡事呢？我並沒有查出他甚麼該死的罪來。所以，我要責打他，把他釋放了。」
23:23
οἱ δὲ ἐπέκειντο φωναῖς μεγάλαις αἰτούμενοι αὐτὸν σταυρωθῆναι , καὶ κατίσχυον αἱ φωναὶ αὐτῶν .
But they were urgent with loud voices, asking that he might be crucified. Their voices and the voices of the chief priests prevailed.
他們大聲催逼彼拉多，求他把耶穌釘在十字架上。他們的聲音就得了勝。
23:24
καὶ Πειλᾶτος ἐπέκρινεν γενέσθαι τὸ αἴτημα αὐτῶν ·
Pilate decreed that what they asked for should be done.
彼拉多這才照他們所求的定案，
23:25
ἀπέλυσεν δὲ τὸν διὰ στάσιν καὶ φόνον βεβλημένον εἰς φυλακήν , ὃν ᾐτοῦντο , τὸν δὲ Ἰησοῦν παρέδωκεν τῷ θελήματι αὐτῶν .
He released him who had been thrown into prison for insurrection and murder, for whom they asked, but he delivered Jesus up to their will.
把他們所求的那作亂殺人、下在監裏的釋放了，把耶穌交給他們，任憑他們的意思行。
23:26
Καὶ ὡς ἀπήγαγον αὐτόν , ἐπιλαβόμενοι Σίμωνά τινα Κυρηναῖον ἐρχόμενον ἀπ’ ἀγροῦ ἐπέθηκαν αὐτῷ τὸν σταυρὸν φέρειν ὄπισθεν τοῦ Ἰησοῦ .
When they led him away, they grabbed one Simon of Cyrene, coming from the country, and laid the cross on him to carry it after Jesus.
帶耶穌去的時候，有一個古利奈人西門，從鄉下來；他們就抓住他，把十字架擱在他身上，叫他背着跟隨耶穌。
23:27
ἠκολούθει δὲ αὐτῷ πολὺ πλῆθος τοῦ λαοῦ καὶ γυναικῶν , αἳ ἐκόπτοντο καὶ ἐθρήνουν αὐτόν .
A great multitude of the people followed him, including women who also mourned and lamented him.
有許多百姓跟隨耶穌，內中有好些婦女；婦女們為他號咷痛哭。
23:28
στραφεὶς δὲ πρὸς αὐτὰς Ἰησοῦς εἶπεν · θυγατέρες Ἱερουσαλήμ , μὴ κλαίετε ἐπ’ ἐμέ · πλὴν ἐφ’ ἑαυτὰς κλαίετε καὶ ἐπὶ τὰ τέκνα ὑμῶν ,
But Jesus, turning to them, said, “Daughters of Jerusalem, don’t weep for me, but weep for yourselves and for your children.
耶穌轉身對她們說：「耶路撒冷的女子，不要為我哭，當為自己和自己的兒女哭。
23:29
ὅτι ἰδοὺ ἔρχονται ἡμέραι ἐν αἷς ἐροῦσιν · μακάριαι αἱ στεῖραι καὶ αἱ κοιλίαι αἳ οὐκ ἐγέννησαν , καὶ μαστοὶ οἳ οὐκ ἔθρεψαν .
For behold, the days are coming in which they will say, ‘Blessed are the barren, the wombs that never bore, and the breasts that never nursed.’
因為日子要到，人必說：『不生育的，和未曾懷胎的，未曾乳養嬰孩的，有福了！』
23:30
τότε ἄρξονται λέγειν τοῖς ὄρεσιν · πέσατε ἐφ’ ἡμᾶς , καὶ τοῖς βουνοῖς · καλύψατε ἡμᾶς ·
Then they will begin to tell the mountains, ‘Fall on us!’ and tell the hills, ‘Cover us.’
那時，人要向大山說： 倒在我們身上！ 向小山說： 遮蓋我們！
23:31
ὅτι εἰ ἐν τῷ ὑγρῷ ξύλῳ ταῦτα ποιοῦσιν , ἐν τῷ ξηρῷ τί γένηται ;
For if they do these things in the green tree, what will be done in the dry?”
「這些事既行在有汁水的樹上，那枯乾的樹將來怎麼樣呢？」
23:32
ἤγοντο δὲ καὶ ἕτεροι δύο κακοῦργοι σὺν αὐτῷ ἀναιρεθῆναι .
There were also others, two criminals, led with him to be put to death.
又有兩個犯人，和耶穌一同帶來處死。
23:33
Καὶ ὅτε ἀπῆλθον ἐπὶ τὸν τόπον τὸν καλούμενον Κρανίον , ἐκεῖ ἐσταύρωσαν αὐτὸν καὶ τοὺς κακούργους , ὃν μὲν ἐκ δεξιῶν , ὃν δὲ ἀριστερῶν .
When they came to the place that is called “The Skull”, they crucified him there with the criminals, one on the right and the other on the left.
到了一個地方，名叫「髑髏地」，就在那裏把耶穌釘在十字架上，又釘了兩個犯人：一個在左邊，一個在右邊。
23:34
ὁ δὲ Ἰησοῦς ἔλεγεν · πάτερ , ἄφες αὐτοῖς , οὐ γὰρ οἴδασιν τί ποιοῦσιν . διαμεριζόμενοι δὲ τὰ ἱμάτια αὐτοῦ ἔβαλον κλήρους .
Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing.” Dividing his garments among them, they cast lots.
當下耶穌說：「父啊！赦免他們；因為他們所做的，他們不曉得。」兵丁就拈鬮分他的衣服。
23:35
καὶ εἱστήκει ὁ λαὸς θεωρῶν . ἐξεμυκτήριζον δὲ οἱ ἄρχοντες λέγοντες · ἄλλους ἔσωσεν , σωσάτω ἑαυτόν , εἰ οὗτός ἐστιν ὁ Χριστὸς τοῦ θεοῦ ὁ ἐκλεκτός .
The people stood watching. The rulers with them also scoffed at him, saying, “He saved others. Let him save himself, if this is the Christ of God, his chosen one!”
百姓站在那裏觀看。官府也嗤笑他，說：「他救了別人；他若是基督，上帝所揀選的，可以救自己吧！」
23:36
ἐνέπαιξαν δὲ αὐτῷ καὶ οἱ στρατιῶται προσερχόμενοι , ὄξος προσφέροντες αὐτῷ
The soldiers also mocked him, coming to him and offering him vinegar,
兵丁也戲弄他，上前拿醋送給他喝，
23:37
καὶ λέγοντες · εἰ σὺ εἶ ὁ βασιλεὺς τῶν Ἰουδαίων , σῶσον σεαυτόν .
and saying, “If you are the King of the Jews, save yourself!”
說：「你若是猶太人的王，可以救自己吧！」
23:38
ἦν δὲ καὶ ἐπιγραφὴ ἐπ’ αὐτῷ · ὁ βασιλεὺς τῶν Ἰουδαίων οὗτος .
An inscription was also written over him in letters of Greek, Latin, and Hebrew: “THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.”
在耶穌以上有一個牌子 寫着：「這是猶太人的王。」
23:39
Εἷς δὲ τῶν κρεμασθέντων κακούργων ἐβλασφήμει αὐτόν · οὐχὶ σὺ εἶ ὁ Χριστός ; σῶσον σεαυτὸν καὶ ἡμᾶς .
One of the criminals who was hanged insulted him, saying, “If you are the Christ, save yourself and us!”
那同釘的兩個犯人有一個譏笑他，說：「你不是基督嗎？可以救自己和我們吧！」
23:40
ἀποκριθεὶς δὲ ὁ ἕτερος ἐπιτιμῶν αὐτῷ ἔφη · οὐδὲ φοβῇ σὺ τὸν θεόν , ὅτι ἐν τῷ αὐτῷ κρίματι εἶ ;
But the other answered, and rebuking him said, “Don’t you even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation?
那一個就應聲責備他，說：「你既是一樣受刑的，還不怕上帝嗎？
23:41
καὶ ἡμεῖς μὲν δικαίως , ἄξια γὰρ ὧν ἐπράξαμεν ἀπολαμβάνομεν · οὗτος δὲ οὐδὲν ἄτοπον ἔπραξεν .
And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward for our deeds, but this man has done nothing wrong.”
我們是應該的，因我們所受的與我們所做的相稱，但這個人沒有做過一件不好的事。」
23:42
καὶ ἔλεγεν · Ἰησοῦ , μνήσθητί μου ὅταν ἔλθῃς ἐν τῇ βασιλείᾳ σου .
He said to Jesus, “Lord, remember me when you come into your Kingdom.”
就說：「耶穌啊，你得國降臨的時候，求你記念我！」
23:43
καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ · ἀμήν σοι λέγω , σήμερον μετ’ ἐμοῦ ἔσῃ ἐν τῷ παραδείσῳ .
Jesus said to him, “Assuredly I tell you, today you will be with me in Paradise.”
耶穌對他說：「我實在告訴你，今日你要同我在樂園裏了。」
23:44
Καὶ ἦν ἤδη ὡσεὶ ὥρα ἕκτη καὶ σκότος ἐγένετο ἐφ’ ὅλην τὴν γῆν ἕως ὥρας ἐνάτης ,
It was now about the sixth hour, and darkness came over the whole land until the ninth hour.
那時約有午正，遍地都黑暗了，直到申初，
23:45
τοῦ ἡλίου ἐκλιπόντος · ἐσχίσθη δὲ τὸ καταπέτασμα τοῦ ναοῦ μέσον .
The sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was torn in two.
日頭變黑了；殿裏的幔子從當中裂為兩半。
23:46
καὶ φωνήσας φωνῇ μεγάλῃ ὁ Ἰησοῦς εἶπεν · πάτερ , εἰς χεῖράς σου παρατίθεμαι τὸ πνεῦμά μου . τοῦτο δὲ εἰπὼν ἐξέπνευσεν .
Jesus, crying with a loud voice, said, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!” Having said this, he breathed his last.
耶穌大聲喊着說：「父啊！我將我的靈魂交在你手裏。」說了這話，氣就斷了。
23:47
ἰδὼν δὲ ὁ ἑκατοντάρχης τὸ γενόμενον ἐδόξαζεν τὸν θεὸν λέγων · ὄντως ὁ ἄνθρωπος οὗτος δίκαιος ἦν .
When the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, “Certainly this was a righteous man.”
百夫長看見所成的事，就歸榮耀與上帝，說：「這真是個義人！」
23:48
καὶ πάντες οἱ συνπαραγενόμενοι ὄχλοι ἐπὶ τὴν θεωρίαν ταύτην , θεωρήσαντες τὰ γενόμενα , τύπτοντες τὰ στήθη ὑπέστρεφον .
All the multitudes that came together to see this, when they saw the things that were done, returned home beating their chests.
聚集觀看的眾人見了這所成的事都捶着胸回去了。
23:49
εἱστήκεισαν δὲ πάντες οἱ γνωστοὶ αὐτῷ ἀπὸ μακρόθεν , καὶ γυναῖκες αἱ συνακολουθοῦσαι αὐτῷ ἀπὸ τῆς Γαλιλαίας , ὁρῶσαι ταῦτα .
All his acquaintances and the women who followed with him from Galilee stood at a distance, watching these things.
還有一切與耶穌熟識的人，和從加利利跟着他來的婦女們，都遠遠地站着看這些事。
23:50
Καὶ ἰδοὺ ἀνὴρ ὀνόματι Ἰωσὴφ βουλευτὴς ὑπάρχων , καὶ ἀνὴρ ἀγαθὸς καὶ δίκαιος
Behold, there was a man named Joseph, who was a member of the council, a good and righteous man
有一個人名叫約瑟，是個議士，為人善良公義；
23:51
οὗτος οὐκ ἦν συνκατατιθειμένος τῇ βουλῇ καὶ τῇ πράξει αὐτῶν , ἀπὸ Ἀριμαθαίας πόλεως τῶν Ἰουδαίων , ὃς προσεδέχετο τὴν βασιλείαν τοῦ θεοῦ ,
(he had not consented to their counsel and deed), from Arimathaea, a city of the Jews, who was also waiting for God’s Kingdom.
眾人所謀所為，他並沒有附從。他本是猶太、亞利馬太城裏素常盼望上帝國的人。
23:52
οὗτος προσελθὼν τῷ Πειλάτῳ ᾐτήσατο τὸ σῶμα τοῦ Ἰησοῦ ,
This man went to Pilate, and asked for Jesus’ body.
這人去見彼拉多，求耶穌的身體，
23:53
καὶ καθελὼν ἐνετύλιξεν αὐτὸ σινδόνι , καὶ ἔθηκεν αὐτὸν ἐν μνήματι λαξευτῷ οὗ οὐκ ἦν οὐδεὶς οὐδέπω κείμενος .
He took it down and wrapped it in a linen cloth, and laid him in a tomb that was cut in stone, where no one had ever been laid.
就取下來，用細麻布裹好，安放在石頭鑿成的墳墓裏；那裏頭從來沒有葬過人。
23:54
καὶ ἡμέρα ἦν παρασκευῆς , καὶ σάββατον ἐπέφωσκεν .
It was the day of the Preparation, and the Sabbath was drawing near.
那日是預備日，安息日也快到了。
23:55
Κατακολουθήσασαι δὲ γυναῖκες , αἵτινες ἦσαν συνεληλυθυῖαι ἐκ τῆς Γαλιλαίας αὐτῷ , ἐθεάσαντο τὸ μνημεῖον καὶ ὡς ἐτέθη τὸ σῶμα αὐτοῦ ,
The women who had come with him out of Galilee followed after, and saw the tomb and how his body was laid.
那些從加利利和耶穌同來的婦女跟在後面，看見了墳墓和他的身體怎樣安放。
23:56
ὑποστρέψασαι δὲ ἡτοίμασαν ἀρώματα καὶ μύρα · καὶ τὸ μὲν σάββατον ἡσύχασαν κατὰ τὴν ἐντολήν .
They returned and prepared spices and ointments. On the Sabbath they rested according to the commandment.
她們就回去，預備了香料香膏。她們在安息日，便遵着誡命安息了。
