11:1
Congregatus est igitur omnis Israël ad David in Hebron, dicens : Os tuum sumus, et caro tua.
Then all Israel gathered themselves to David to Hebron, saying, “Behold, we are your bone and your flesh.
以色列眾人聚集到希伯崙見大衛，說：「我們原是你的骨肉。
11:2
Heri quoque et nudiustertius cum adhuc regnaret Saul, tu eras qui educebas et introducebas Israël : tibi enim dixit Dominus Deus tuus : Tu pasces populum meum Israël, et tu eris princeps super eum.
In times past, even when Saul was king, it was you who led out and brought in Israel. Yahweh your God said to you, ‘You shall be shepherd of my people Israel, and you shall be prince over my people Israel.’”
從前掃羅作王的時候，率領以色列人出入的是你；耶和華－你的上帝也曾應許你說：『你必牧養我的民以色列，作以色列的君。』」
11:3
Venerunt ergo omnes majores natu Israël ad regem in Hebron, et iniit David cum eis foedus coram Domino : unxeruntque eum regem super Israël, juxta sermonem Domini quem locutus est in manu Samuel.
So all the elders of Israel came to the king to Hebron; and David made a covenant with them in Hebron before Yahweh. They anointed David king over Israel, according to Yahweh’s word by Samuel.
於是以色列的長老都來到希伯崙見大衛王。大衛在希伯崙耶和華面前與他們立約，他們就膏大衛作以色列的王，是照耶和華藉撒母耳所說的話。
11:4
Abiit quoque David et omnis Israël in Jerusalem : haec est Jebus, ubi erant Jebusaei habitatores terrae.
David and all Israel went to Jerusalem (also called Jebus); and the Jebusites, the inhabitants of the land, were there.
大衛和以色列眾人到了耶路撒冷，就是耶布斯；那時耶布斯人住在那裏。
11:5
Dixeruntque qui habitabant in Jebus ad David : Non ingredieris huc. Porro David cepit arcem Sion, quae est civitas David,
The inhabitants of Jebus said to David, “You will not come in here!” Nevertheless David took the stronghold of Zion. The same is David’s city.
耶布斯人對大衛說：「你決不能進這地方。」然而大衛攻取錫安的保障，就是大衛的城。
11:6
dixitque : Omnis qui percusserit Jebusaeum in primis, erit princeps et dux. Ascendit igitur primus Joab filius Sarviae, et factus est princeps.
David had said, “Whoever strikes the Jebusites first shall be chief and captain.” Joab the son of Zeruiah went up first, and was made chief.
大衛說：「誰先攻打耶布斯人，必作首領元帥。」洗魯雅的兒子約押先上去，就作了元帥。
11:7
Habitavit autem David in arce, et idcirco appellata est civitas David.
David lived in the stronghold; therefore they called it David’s city.
大衛住在保障裏，所以那保障叫作大衛城。
11:8
Aedificavitque urbem in circuitu a Mello usque ad gyrum ; Joab autem reliqua urbis exstruxit.
He built the city all around, from Millo even around; and Joab repaired the rest of the city.
大衛又從米羅起，四圍建築城牆，其餘的是約押修理。
11:9
Proficiebatque David vadens et crescens, et Dominus exercituum erat cum eo.
David grew greater and greater, for Yahweh of Armies was with him.
大衛日見強盛，因為萬軍之耶和華與他同在。
11:10
Hi principes virorum fortium David, qui adjuverunt eum ut rex fieret super omnem Israël, juxta verbum Domini quod locutus est ad Israël.
Now these are the chief of the mighty men whom David had, who showed themselves strong with him in his kingdom, together with all Israel, to make him king, according to Yahweh’s word concerning Israel.
以下記錄跟隨大衛勇士的首領，就是奮勇幫助他得國、照着耶和華吩咐以色列人的話、與以色列人一同立他作王的。
11:11
Et iste numerus robustorum David : Jesbaam filius Hachamoni princeps inter triginta : iste levavit hastam suam super trecentos vulneratos una vice.
This is the number of the mighty men whom David had: Jashobeam, the son of a Hachmonite, the chief of the thirty; he lifted up his spear against three hundred and killed them at one time.
大衛勇士的數目記在下面：哈革摩尼的兒子雅朔班，他是軍長的統領，一時舉槍殺了三百人。
11:12
Et post eum Eleazar filius patrui ejus Ahohites, qui erat inter tres potentes.
After him was Eleazar the son of Dodo, the Ahohite, who was one of the three mighty men.
其次是亞合人朵多的兒子以利亞撒，他是三個勇士裏的一個。
11:13
Iste fuit cum David in Phesdomim, quando Philisthiim congregati sunt ad locum illum in praelium : et erat ager regionis illius plenus hordeo, fugeratque populus a facie Philisthinorum.
He was with David at Pasdammim, and there the Philistines were gathered together to battle, where there was a plot of ground full of barley; and the people fled from before the Philistines.
他從前與大衛在巴斯‧達閔，非利士人聚集要打仗。那裏有一塊長滿大麥的田，眾民就在非利士人面前逃跑；
11:14
Hi steterunt in medio agri, et defenderunt eum : cumque percussissent Philisthaeos, dedit Dominus salutem magnam populo suo.
They stood in the middle of the plot, defended it, and killed the Philistines; and Yahweh saved them by a great victory.
這勇士便站在那田間擊殺非利士人，救護了那田。耶和華使以色列人大獲全勝。
11:15
Descenderunt autem tres de triginta principibus ad petram, in qua erat David, ad speluncam Odollam, quando Philisthiim fuerant castrametati in valle Raphaim.
Three of the thirty chief men went down to the rock to David, into the cave of Adullam; and the army of the Philistines were encamped in the valley of Rephaim.
三十個勇士中的三個人下到磐石那裏，進了亞杜蘭洞見大衛；非利士的軍隊在利乏音谷安營。
11:16
Porro David erat in praesidio, et statio Philisthinorum in Bethlehem.
David was then in the stronghold, and the garrison of the Philistines was in Bethlehem at that time.
那時大衛在山寨，非利士人的防營在伯利恆。
11:17
Desideravit igitur David, et dixit : O si quis daret mihi aquam de cisterna Bethlehem, quae est in porta !
David longed, and said, “Oh, that someone would give me water to drink from the well of Bethlehem, which is by the gate!”
大衛渴想，說：「甚願有人將伯利恆城門旁井裏的水打來給我喝！」
11:18
Tres ergo isti per media castra Philisthinorum perrexerunt, et hauserunt aquam de cisterna Bethlehem quae erat in porta, et attulerunt ad David ut biberet. Qui noluit, sed magis libavit illam Domino,
The three broke through the army of the Philistines, and drew water out of the well of Bethlehem that was by the gate, took it, and brought it to David; but David would not drink any of it, but poured it out to Yahweh,
這三個勇士就闖過非利士人的營盤，從伯利恆城門旁的井裏打水，拿來奉給大衛。他卻不肯喝，將水奠在耶和華面前，
11:19
dicens : Absit ut in conspectu Dei mei hoc faciam, et sanguinem istorum virorum bibam : quia in periculo animarum suarum attulerunt mihi aquam. Et ob hanc causam noluit bibere : haec fecerunt tres robustissimi.
and said, “My God forbid me, that I should do this! Shall I drink the blood of these men who have put their lives in jeopardy?” For they risked their lives to bring it. Therefore he would not drink it. The three mighty men did these things.
說：「我的上帝啊，這三個人冒死去打水，這水好像他們的血一般，我斷不敢喝！」如此，大衛不肯喝。這是三個勇士所做的事。
11:20
Abisai quoque frater Joab ipse erat princeps trium, et ipse levavit hastam suam contra trecentos vulneratos, et ipse erat inter tres nominatissimus,
Abishai, the brother of Joab, was chief of the three; for he lifted up his spear against three hundred and killed them, and had a name among the three.
約押的兄弟亞比篩是這三個勇士的首領；他舉槍殺了三百人，就在三個勇士裏得了名。
11:21
et inter tres secundos inclytus, et princeps eorum : verumtamen usque ad tres primos non pervenerat.
Of the three, he was more honorable than the two, and was made their captain; however he wasn’t included in the three.
他在這三個勇士裏是最尊貴的，所以作他們的首領；只是不及前三個勇士。
11:22
Banaias filius Jojadae viri robustissimi, qui multa opera perpetrarat, de Cabseel : ipse percussit duos ariel Moab, et ipse descendit et interfecit leonem in media cisterna tempore nivis.
Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, the son of a valiant man of Kabzeel, who had done mighty deeds, killed the two sons of Ariel of Moab. He also went down and killed a lion in the middle of a pit on a snowy day.
有甲薛勇士耶何耶大的兒子比拿雅行過大能的事：他殺了摩押人亞利伊勒的兩個兒子，又在下雪的時候下坑裏去殺了一個獅子，
11:23
Et ipse percussit virum aegyptium, cujus statura erat quinque cubitorum, et habebat lanceam ut liciatorium texentium : descendit igitur ad eum cum virga, et rapuit hastam quam tenebat manu, et interfecit eum hasta sua.
He killed an Egyptian, a man of great stature, five cubits high. In the Egyptian’s hand was a spear like a weaver’s beam; and he went down to him with a staff, plucked the spear out of the Egyptian’s hand, and killed him with his own spear.
又殺了一個埃及人。埃及人身高五肘，手裏拿着槍，槍桿粗如織布的機軸；比拿雅只拿着棍子下去，從埃及人手裏奪過槍來，用那槍將他刺死。
11:24
Haec fecit Banaias filius Jojadae, qui erat inter tres robustos nominatissimus,
Benaiah the son of Jehoiada did these things and had a name among the three mighty men.
這是耶何耶大的兒子比拿雅所行的事，就在三個勇士裏得了名。
11:25
inter triginta primus, verumtamen ad tres usque non pervenerat : posuit autem eum David ad auriculam suam.
Behold, he was more honorable than the thirty, but he didn’t attain to the three; and David set him over his guard.
他比那三十個勇士都尊貴，只是不及前三個勇士。大衛立他作護衛長。
11:26
Porro fortissimi viri in exercitu, Asahel frater Joab, et Elchanan filius patrui ejus de Bethlehem,
The mighty men of the armies also include Asahel the brother of Joab, Elhanan the son of Dodo of Bethlehem,
軍中的勇士有約押的兄弟亞撒黑，伯利恆人朵多的兒子伊勒哈難，
11:27
Sammoth Arorites, Helles Pharonites,
Shammoth the Harorite, Helez the Pelonite,
