3:1
ወሶበ፡ በጽሐ፡ ሳብዕ፡ ወርኅ፡ ሀለዉ፡ እስራኤል፡ ውስተ፡ አህጉሪሆሙ፡ ወእምዝ፡ ተጋብኡ፡ ሕዝብ፡ ውስተ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም፡ ኅቡረ፡ ከመ፡ አሐዱ፡ ብእሲ።
到了七月，以色列人住在自己的城裡；那時眾民如同一人，聚集到耶路撒冷。
And when the seventh month came, and the children of Israel were in their cities, the people gathered together as one man to Jerusalem.
3:2
ወተንሥአ፡ ኢዮስስ፡ ወልደ፡ ኢዮሴዴቅ፡ ወአኃዊሁ፡ ካህናት፡ ወዘሩባቤል፡ ወልደ፡ ሰላትያል፡ ወአኃዊሁ፡ ወሐነጹ፡ ምሥዋዐ፡ አምላከ፡ እስራኤል፡ ከመ፡ ይግበሩ፡ መሥዋዕተ፡ ውስቴቱ፡ በከመ፡ ጽሑፍ፡ ውስተ፡ ኦሪተ፡ ሙሴ፡ ብእሴ፡ እግዚአብሔር።
約薩達的兒子耶書亞和他弟兄眾祭司，並撒拉鐵的兒子所羅巴伯與他的弟兄，都起來建築以色列神的壇，要照神人摩西律法書上所寫的，在壇上獻燔祭。
Then Jeshua the son of Jozadak and his brothers the priests, and Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel and his brothers, rose up and built the altar of the God of Israel, to offer burnt offerings upon it, as it is written in the law of Moses the man of God.
3:3
ወሐነጽዋ፡ ለምሥዋዕ፡ በከመ፡ ሥርዓቱ፡ እስመ፡ ፍርሃት፡ ላዕሌሆሙ፡ ኀደረ፡ እምነ፡ አሕዛበ፡ ምድር፡ ወአዕረጉ፡ መሥዋዕተ፡ ውስቴቱ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ ዘነግህኒ፡ ወዘሠርክኒ።
他們在原有的根基上築壇，因懼怕鄰國的民，就照定例，在壇上向耶和華早晚獻燔祭。
And they set up the altar according to its ordinance, for fear was upon them because of the peoples of the lands; and they offered burnt offerings upon it to Jehovah, both the morning and the evening burnt offerings.
3:4
ወገበሩ፡ በዓለ፡ መጸለት፡ ዘከመ፡ ጽሑፍ፡ ወመሥዋዕተኒ፡ ዘበበኊልቈ፡ ዕለት፡ በከመ፡ ሥርዓተ፡ ሕዝብ፡ በበመዋዕሊሁ፡ ለለዕለቱ።
他們又照律法上所寫的守住棚節，按數目照定例，獻每日所當獻的燔祭；
And they kept the Feast of Tabernacles, as it is written, offering the daily burnt offerings by number, according to the ordinance, as the duty of every day required;
3:5
ወእምድኅረ፡ ዝንቱ፡ መሥዋዕተ፡ ዘልፍ፡ ዘለለ፡ ሠርቀ፡ ወርኅ፡ ወዘለለ፡ በዓላተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ኵሎሙ፡ ቅዱሳን፡ ወዘኵሉ፡ በበፈቃዱ፡ በጽዐ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር።
此後又獻常獻的燔祭，並月朔與耶和華一切分別為聖之節期的祭，又獻各人甘心向耶和華所獻的祭。
and after that the continual burnt offering, and the offerings of every new moon and of all the appointed holy feasts of Jehovah, and the offerings of everyone who brought a freewill offering to Jehovah.
3:6
ወእምርእሰ፡ ሳብዕ፡ ወርኅ፡ አኀዙ፡ ያብኡ፡ መሥዋዕተ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ ወቤተ፡ እግዚአብሔርሰ፡ ኢተሣረረት።
從七月初一日起，他們就向耶和華獻燔祭；但耶和華殿的根基尚未立定。
From the first day of the seventh month they began to offer burnt offerings to Jehovah; but the foundation of the house of Jehovah had not yet been laid.
3:7
ወወሀቡ፡ ወርቀ፡ ለፀረብት፡ ወለወቀርት፡ ወመብልዐኒ፡ ወመስቴ፡ ወቅብዐኒ፡ ለሰብአ፡ ጢሮስ፡ ወለሲዶና፡ ከመ፡ ያምጽኡ፡ ሎሙ፡ ዕፀወ፡ ቄድሮስ፡ እምነ፡ ሊባኖስ፡ ኀበ፡ ባሕረ፡ ኢዮጴ፡ ወእምህየ፡ ይትመየጡ፡ በትእዛዘ፡ ቂሮስ፡ ንጉሠ፡ ፋርስ፡ ላዕሌሆሙ።
他們又將銀子給石匠、木匠，把糧食、酒、油給西頓人、推羅人，使他們將香柏樹從利巴嫩運到海邊，到約帕；再從那裡照波斯王古列所準給他們的，運上來。
They also gave money to the masons and the carpenters, and food, drink, and oil to the men of Tyre and Sidon, to bring cedar trees from Lebanon to the sea at Joppa, and from there they would be brought according to the grant given them by Cyrus king of Persia.
3:8
ወበበክልኤቱ፡ ዓመት፡ እምዘ፡ በጽሑ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም፡ ውስተ፡ ቤተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ በካልእ፡ ወርኅ፡ አኃዘ፡ ዘሩባቤል፡ ወልደ፡ ሰላትያል፡ ወኢዮስስ፡ ወልደ፡ ኢዮሴዴቅ፡ ወእለኒ፡ ተርፉ፡ አኃዊሆሙ፡ ካህናት፡ ወሌዋውያን፡ ወኵሎሙ፡ እለ፡ አተዉ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም፡ እምኀበ፡ ተፄወዉ፡ ወሤምዎሙ፡ ለሌዋውያን፡ እለ፡ እምዕሥራ፡ ዓም፡ ወላዕሉ፡ ላዕለ፡ ግብረ፡ ቤተ፡ እግዚአብሔር።
百姓到了耶路撒冷神殿的第二年二月，撒拉鐵的兒子所羅巴伯、約薩達的兒子耶書亞，和其餘的弟兄，就是祭司、利未人，並一切從被擄之地回到耶路撒冷的人，都興工建造；他們派二十歲以上的利未人，督理建造耶和華殿的工作。
Now in the second year after they came to the house of God at Jerusalem, in the second month, Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel and Jeshua the son of Jozadak, with the rest of their brothers the priests and the Levites, and all who had come to Jerusalem out of the captivity, began the work; and they appointed the Levites from twenty years old and upward to oversee the work of the house of Jehovah.
3:9
ወቆመ፡ ኢዮስስ፡ ወደቂቁ፡ ወአኃዊሁኒ፡ ቀዳምያል፡ ወደቂቁ፡ ወደቂቀ፡ ይሁዳኒ፡ ላዕለ፡ ግብር፡ እለ፡ ይገብሩ፡ ቤተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወደቂቀ፡ ኢንሐዳድ፡ ወደቂቆሙኒ፡ ወአኀዊሆሙኒ፡ ሌዋውያን።
於是耶書亞和他的子孫與弟兄，甲篾和他的子孫，就是猶大的後裔，一同站起來，監督在神殿裡做工的人；還有希拿達的子孫，與他們的子孫弟兄利未人。
Then Jeshua with his sons and his brothers, and Kadmiel with his sons, the sons of Judah, stood together to oversee the workmen building the house of God, with the sons of Henadad and their sons and their brothers the Levites.
3:10
ወሣረሩ፡ ከመ፡ ይሕንፁ፡ ቤተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወካህናትኒ፡ ቆሙ፡ ልቡሳኒሆሙ፡ ምስለ፡ አቅርንት፡ ወሌዋውያንሰ፡ ደቂቀ፡ አሳፍ፡ በጸናጽል፡ ይሴብሕዎ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ ሶበ፡ ይሣረሩ፡ ቤተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ በትምንርተ፡ ዳዊት፡ ንጉሠ፡ እስራኤል።
匠人立耶和華殿根基的時候，祭司皆穿禮服吹號，亞薩的子孫利未人敲鈸，照以色列王大衛所定的例讚美耶和華。
And when the builders laid the foundation of the house of Jehovah, the priests stood in their apparel with trumpets, and the Levites the sons of Asaph with cymbals, to praise Jehovah, according to the directions of David king of Israel.
3:11
ወአውሥኡ፡ ወሰብሕዎ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ ወአእኰትዎ፡ እንዘ፡ ይብሉ፡ እስመ፡ ኄር፡ ውእቱ፡ ወለዓለም፡ ምሕረቱ፡ ላዕለ፡ እስራኤል፡ ወይብሉ፡ ኵሎሙ፡ ሕዝብ፡ በቃል፡ ዓቢይ፡ ወይሴብሕዎ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ ሶበ፡ ይሣርሩ፡ ቤተ፡ እግዚአብሔር።
他們彼此唱和，讚美稱謝耶和華說：「他本為善，他向以色列人所施的慈愛永遠長存。」眾民大聲呼喊，讚美耶和華，因為耶和華殿的根基已經立定。
And they sang responsively, praising and giving thanks to Jehovah, saying, For He is good, for His lovingkindness toward Israel endures for ever. And all the people shouted with a great shout, praising Jehovah, because the foundation of the house of Jehovah was laid.
3:12
ወብዙኀን፡ እምውስተ፡ ካህናት፡ ወሌዋውያን፡ ወመላእክተ፡ አበዊሆሙ፡ ወሊቃውንትኒ፡ እለ፡ የአምርዎ፡ ለውእቱ፡ ቤት፡ ዘትካት፡ ሶበ፡ ሣረርዎ፡ ወርእይዎ፡ ለውእቱ፡ ቤት፡ በዓይኖሙ፡ ይበክዩ፡ በዓቢይ፡ ቃል፡ ወብዙኀን፡ በይባቤ፡ ይጸርሑ፡ እንዘ፡ ያነብቡ።
然而有許多祭司、利未人、族長，就是見過先前那殿根基的老年人，如今親眼看見這殿，就大聲哭號；也有許多人大聲歡呼，
But many of the priests and Levites and heads of the fathers' houses, the old men who had seen the former house when its foundation was laid, wept with a loud voice when they saw this house before their eyes; while many shouted aloud for joy,
3:13
ወአልቦ፡ እምውስተ፡ ሕዝብ፡ እለ፡ የአምሩ፡ ቃለ፡ ይባቤ፡ ወፍሥሓ፡ እምነ፡ ጽራሐ፡ ብካዮሙ፡ እስመ፡ ይጸርሑ፡ ሕዝብ፡ በዓቢይ፡ ቃል፡ ወይሰማዕ፡ እምርኁቅ።
以致百姓不能分辨歡呼的聲音和哭號的聲音；因為眾民大聲呼喊，聲音聽到遠處。
so that the people could not distinguish the sound of the shout of joy from the sound of the weeping of the people; for the people shouted with a great shout, and the sound was heard far off.
