ወእሉ፡ እሙንቱ፡ ደቂቀ፡ ብሔር፡ እለ፡ ዓርጉ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም፡ ወገብኡ፡ እምኀበ፡ ተፄወው፡ ወፈለሱ፡ እለ፡ አፍለሶሙ፡ ናቡከደነፆር፡ ንጉሠ፡ ባቢሎን፡ ውስተ፡ ባቢሎን፡ ወተመይጡ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም።
巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒從前擄到巴比倫之被擄的人，如今這些省民從被擄之地上來，回到耶路撒冷。
Now these are the people of the province who came up out of the captivity of those exiles whom Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had carried away to Babylon, and who returned to Jerusalem.
2:2
ወሰብአ፡ ይሁዳኒ፡ አተዉ፡ ውስተ፡ አህጉሪሆሙ፡ እለ፡ ወፅኡ፡ ምስለ፡ ዘሩባቤል፡ ኢዮስስ፡ ወነሕምያ፡ ወሶራያ፡ ወሮሐልያ፡ ወመርዶክዮስ፡ ወበልሳን፡ ወመሴፋር፡ ወመጉይ፡ ወሬሁም፡ ወበዓና፡ ወኮነ፡ ኊልቆሙ፡ ለሰብአ፡ እስራኤል።
他們是同所羅巴伯回來的，有耶書亞、尼希米、西萊雅、利來雅、末底改、必珊、米斯拔、比革瓦伊、利宏、巴拿。以色列民的人數記在下面：
They came with Zerubbabel: Jeshua, Nehemiah, Seraiah, Reelaiah, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mizpar, Bigvai, Rehum, and Baanah. This is the number of the men of the people of Israel:
2:3
ደቂቀ፡ ፋሩአስ፡ ዕሥራ፡ ምእት፡ ወአሐዱ፡ ምእት፡ ወሰብዓ፡ ወክልኤቱ።
巴錄的子孫二千一百七十二名；
the sons of Parosh, two thousand one hundred and seventy-two;
2:4
ወደቂቀ፡ ሰፋትያ፡ ሠለስቱ፡ ምእት፡ ወሰብዓ፡ ወክልኤቱ።
示法提雅的子孫三百七十二名；
the sons of Shephatiah, three hundred and seventy-two;
2:5
ወደቂቀ፡ ኤራ፡ ሰብዓቱ፡ ምእት፡ ወሰብዓ፡ ወኃምስቱ።
亞拉的子孫七百七十五名；
the sons of Arah, seven hundred and seventy-five;

ወደቂቀ፡ ፈሐትሞአብ፡ እለ፡ እምትውልደ፡ ያሱኤ፡ ወዮአብ፡ ዕሥራ፡ ምእት፡ ወሰመንቱ፡ ምእት፡ ዓሠርቱ፡ ወክልኤቱ።
巴哈摩押的子孫，就是耶書亞和約押的後裔，二千八百一十二名；
the sons of Pahath-moab, of the line of Jeshua and Joab, two thousand eight hundred and twelve;

ደቂቀ፡ ኤላም፡ ዓሠርቱ፡ ምእት፡ ወክልኤቱ፡ ምእት፡ ኃምሳ፡ ወአርባዕቱ።
以攔的子孫一千二百五十四名；
the sons of Elam, one thousand two hundred and fifty-four;

ወደቂቀ፡ ዛቱዕ፡ ተስዓቱ፡ ምእት፡ ወአርባዓ፡ ወኃምስቱ።
薩土的子孫九百四十五名；
the sons of Zattu, nine hundred and forty-five;

ወደቂቀ፡ ዛኬ፡ ሰብዓቱ፡ ምእት፡ ወስሳ።
薩改的子孫七百六十名；

巴尼的子孫六百四十二名；

比拜的子孫六百二十二名；

押甲的子孫一千二百二十二名；

ደቂቀ፡ አዶኒቃም፡ ስድስቱ፡ ምእት፡ ስሳ፡ ወስድስቱ።
亞多尼乾的子孫六百六十六名；

拉瑪和迦巴人六百二十一名；
the sons of Ramah and Geba, six hundred and twenty-one;

耶利哥的子孫三百四十五名；

西拿的子孫三千六百三十名。

ወካህናትኒ፡ ደቂቀ፡ ኢየሐዶ፡ እለ፡ እምቤተ፡ ኢዮስስ፡ ተስዓቱ፡ ምእት፡ ሰብዓ፡ ወሠለስቱ።
祭司：耶書亞家耶大雅的子孫九百七十三名；
The priests: the sons of Jedaiah, of the house of Jeshua, nine hundred and seventy-three;

ወደቂቀ፡ ኤሜር፡ ዓሠርቱ፡ ምእት፡ ሐምሳ፡ ወክልኤቱ።
音麥的子孫一千零五十二名；
the sons of Immer, one thousand and fifty-two;

ደቂቀ፡ ፋሲሆር፡ ዓሠርቱ፡ ምእት፡ ወክልኤቱ፡ ምእት፡ አርባዓ፡ ወሰብዓቱ።
巴施戶珥的子孫一千二百四十七名；

ወደቂቀ፡ ኤረም፡ ዓሠርቱ፡ ምእት፡ ዓሠርቱ፡ ወሰብዓቱ።
哈琳的子孫一千零一十七名。

ወሌዋውያንሰ፡ ደቂቀ፡ ኢዮስስ፡ ወቀዳምሄል፡ እምደቂቀ፡ ሁድያ፡ ሰብዓ፡ ወአርባዕቱ።
利未人：何達威雅的後裔，就是耶書亞和甲篾的子孫七十四名。
The Levites: the sons of Jeshua and Kadmiel, of the sons of Hodaviah, seventy-four.

ወእለ፡ ይዜምሩ፡ ደቂቀ፡ አሳፍ፡ ምእት፡ ወዕሥራ፡ ወሰመንቱ።
歌唱的：亞薩的子孫一百二十八名。
The singers: the sons of Asaph, one hundred and twenty-eight.
2:42
ወደቂቀ፡ ሱዓሪም፡ ደቂቀ፡ ሱላም፡ ደቂቀ፡ አጤር፡ ደቂቀ፡ ጤልሞን፡ ደቂቀ፡ ዓቁብ፡ ደቂቀ፡ አጤጣ፡ ደቂቀ፡ ሰበዊይ፡ ኵሎሙ፡ ምእት፡ ወሠላሳ፡ ወተስዓቱ።
守門的：沙龍的子孫、亞特的子孫、達們的子孫、亞谷的子孫、哈底大的子孫、朔拜的子孫，共一百三十九名。
The sons of the gatekeepers: the sons of Shallum, the sons of Ater, the sons of Talmon, the sons of Akkub, the sons of Hatita, the sons of Shobai, in all one hundred and thirty-nine.

ሰብአ፡ ናታኒም፡ ደቂቀ፡ ሲካ፡ ደቂቀ፡ አሱፌ፡ ወደቂቀ፡ ጠቢዖት።
殿役：西哈的子孫、哈蘇巴的子孫、答巴俄的子孫，
The temple servants: the sons of Ziha, the sons of Hasupha, the sons of Tabbaoth,

ደቂቀ፡ ቃዴስ፡ ደቂቀ፡ ስሔል፡ ደቂቀ፡ ፋዶን።
基綠的子孫、西亞的子孫、巴頓的子孫，

The sons of Solomon's servants: the sons of Sotai, the sons of Hassophereth, the sons of Peruda,

ደቂቀ፡ ኢያሄል፡ ደቂቀ፡ ደርቆን፡ ደቂቀ፡ ጌዴል።
雅拉的子孫、達昆的子孫、基德的子孫，
the sons of Jaalah, the sons of Darkon, the sons of Giddel,

ደቂቀ፡ ሴፋትያ፡ ደቂቀ፡ አጤል፡ ደቂቀ፡ ፎኬርት፡ ደቂቀ፡ ሐጺባይም፡ ደቂቀ፡ አሚ።

ኵሎሙ፡ እለ፡ ናታናውያን፡ ወደቂቀ፡ አብደሴልማ፡ ሠለስቱ፡ ምእት፡ ወተስዓ፡ ወክልኤቱ።
殿役和所羅門僕人的後裔，共三百九十二名。
All the temple servants and the sons of Solomon's servants were three hundred and ninety-two.
2:59
ወእሉ፡ እሙንቱ፡ እለ፡ ዓርጉ፡ እምተልመላ፡ ተላርሳ፡ ወኪሩብ፡ ወሔዳያን፡ ወኔሜር፡ ወአበዩ፡ አይድዖ፡ ቤተ፡ አበዊሆሙ፡ ወዘመዶሙ፡ እንዘ፡ እምእስራኤል፡ እሙንቱ።
從特米拉、特哈薩、基綠、押但、音麥上來的人，不能指明他們的宗族譜系，不知是否屬以色列人：
And these were those who came up from Tel-melah, Tel-harsha, Cherub, Addan, and Immer, but they could not declare their fathers' houses or their descent, whether they were of Israel:
2:60
ደቂቀ፡ ዳላያ፡ ደቂቀ፡ ጦብያ፡ ደቂቀ፡ ኒቆዳ፡ ስድስቱ፡ ምእት፡ ሐምሳ፡ ወክልኤቱ።
第萊雅的子孫、多比雅的子孫、尼哥大的子孫，共六百五十二名。
the sons of Delaiah, the sons of Tobiah, the sons of Nekoda, six hundred and fifty-two.
2:61
ወእምነ፡ ትውልደ፡ ካህናት፡ ደቂቀ፡ ላብያ፡ ደቂቀ፡ አቆስ፡ ደቂቀ፡ ቤርዜሊ፡ ዘአውሰበ፡ ብእሲተ፡ እምአዋልደ፡ ቤርዜሊ፡ ገለአዳዊ፡ ወተሰምየ፡ በስሞሙ።
祭司的後裔中，有哈巴雅的子孫、哈哥斯的子孫、巴西萊的子孫；巴西萊娶了基列人巴西萊的女兒為妻，就以岳家的名為名。
And of the sons of the priests: the sons of Habaiah, the sons of Hakkoz, the sons of Barzillai, who had taken a wife of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite and was called by their name.
2:62
ወፈቀዱ፡ ይጽሐፍዎሙ፡ ውስተ፡ ሰብአ፡ ሜቶሔሴም፡ ወኢረከብዎሙ፡ ወሠዐርዎሙ፡ እምክህነቶሙ።
這些人尋查他們的譜系，卻在族譜中找不著，因此算為不潔，被除去祭司的職分。
These sought their registration among those enrolled in the genealogies, but they were not found there; therefore they were excluded from the priesthood as unclean.
2:63
ወኣሙ፡ ሐቴርስታ፡ ከመ፡ ኢይብልዑ፡ እምነ፡ ቅዱሰ፡ ቅዱሳን፡ እስከ፡ አመ፡ ይሠየም፡ ሊቀ፡ ካህናት፡ ዘይለብስ፡ ዲሎሶነ፡ ዘይሠረርዖሙ፡ ለፍጹማን።
省長告訴他們，不可喫至聖的物，直等到有用烏陵和土明為純全之人決疑的大祭司興起。
And the governor told them that they should not eat of the most holy things, until a high priest should arise wearing the Urim and Thummim to make decision for the perfect ones.
2:64
ወኵሉ፡ ማኅበሮሙ፡ አርባዕተ፡ እልፍ፡ ወዕሥራ፡ ምእት፡ ሠለስቱ፡ ምእት፡ ወስሳ፡ እንበለ፡ አግብርቲሆሙ፡ ወአእማቲሆሙ።
全會眾共有四萬二千三百六十名，
The whole assembly together was forty-two thousand three hundred and sixty,
2:65
ወእሙንቱኒ፡ ሰብዓ፡ ምእት፡ ወሠለስቱ፡ ምእት፡ ሠላሳ፡ ወስድስቱ።
此外還有他們的奴婢七千三百三十六名。
besides their menservants and maidservants, of whom there were seven thousand three hundred and thirty-six.
2:66
ወመዘምራን፡ ወመዘምራትሂ፡ ክልኤቱ፡ ምእት።
他們有歌唱的男女二百名。
And they had two hundred male and female singers.
2:67
ወአፍራሲሆሙ፡ ሰብዓቱ፡ ምእት፡ ሠላሳ፡ ወስድስቱ፡ ወአብቅሊሆሙ፡ ክልኤቱ፡ ምእት፡ ወአርባዓ፡ ወሐምስቱ።
他們的馬七百三十六匹，騾子二百四十五匹，
Their horses were seven hundred and thirty-six, their mules two hundred and forty-five,
2:68
ወአግማሊሆሙ፡ አርባዕቱ፡ ምእት፡ ሠላሳ፡ ወሐምስቱ፡ ወአእዱጊሆሙ፡ ስሳ፡ ምእት፡ ወሰብዐቱ፡ ምእት፡ ወዕሥራ።
駱駝四百三十五隻，驢六千七百二十匹。
their camels four hundred and thirty-five, and their donkeys six thousand seven hundred and twenty.
2:69
ወእምነ፡ መላእክተ፡ አበዊሆሙ፡ ሶበ፡ በጽሑ፡ ቤተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ዘኢየሩሳሌም፡ በዕዑ፡ ለቤተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ በዘይገብርዎ።
有些族長到了耶路撒冷耶和華的殿，便為神的殿甘心獻上禮物，要把殿重立在原處。
And some of the heads of the fathers' houses, when they came to the house of Jehovah which is in Jerusalem, offered freely for the house of God to set it up on its site.
2:70
ወበአምጣነ፡ ይክሉ፡ አብኡ፡ ለመዝገብ፡ ለፃእፃኣ፡ ግብር፡ ወርቀ፡ ንጡፈ፡ ምናነ፡ ስድስ፡ እልፈ፡ ወዓሠርተ፡ ምእተ፡ ወብሩረ፡ ምናነ፡ ሐምሳ፡ ምእተ፡ ወአልባሰ፡ ካህናት፡ ምእተ።
他們量力為工程獻入庫中，金子六萬一千達利克，銀子五千彌拿，又有祭司的禮服一百件。
According to their ability they gave to the treasury of the work sixty-one thousand drachmas of gold, five thousand minas of silver, and one hundred priests' garments.
2:71
ወነበሩ፡ ካህናት፡ ወሌዋውያን፡ ወሕዝብኒ፡ ወመዘምራንኒ፡ ወዓፀውት፡ ወናታናውያን፡ በበአህጉሪሆሙ፡ ወእስራኤልኒ፡ ውስተ፡ አህጉሪሆሙ።
於是祭司、利未人、一部分百姓、歌唱的、守門的、殿役，都住在自己的城裡，以色列眾人也住在自己的城裡。
