2:1

ወአነሂ ሶበ መጻእኩ ኀቤክሙ አኀዊነ አኮ በኂጣን ወበተጥባበ ነገር ዘመጻእኩ እምሀርክሙ ትምህርተ እግዚአብሔር።

弟兄們，從前我到你們那裏去，並沒有用高言大智對你們宣傳上帝的奧祕。

When I came to you, brothers, I didn’t come with excellence of speech or of wisdom, proclaiming to you the testimony of God.

2:2

ወኢሐዘብኩ እስማዕ በላዕሌክሙ ካልአ ነገረ ዘእንበለ ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ዘተሰቅለ።

因為我曾定了主意，在你們中間不知道別的，只知道耶穌基督並他釘十字架。

For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.

2:3

ወአነሂ በድካም ወበፍርሃት ወበረዓድ መጻእኩ።

我在你們那裏，又軟弱，又懼怕又甚戰兢。

I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling.

2:4

ወቃልየኒ ወትምህርትየኒ ኢኮነ በተየውሆ ወበኂጣነ ተጥባበ ነገረ ሰብእ ዳእሙ በአርእዮ መንፈስ ቅዱስ ወኀይል።

我說的話、講的道，不是用智慧委婉的言語，乃是用聖靈和大能的明證，

My speech and my preaching were not in persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,

2:5

ከመ ኢይኩን ሃይማኖትክሙ በጥበበ ሰብእ ዘእንበለ በኀይለ እግዚአብሔር።

叫你們的信不在乎人的智慧，只在乎上帝的大能。

that your faith wouldn’t stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

2:6

ጥበበ ንነግሮሙ ለጠቢባን ወአኮ ጥበበ ዝ ዓለም ወኢጥበበ መላእክተ ዝንቱ ዓለም ዘሀለዎሙ ይሰዐሩ ዘንነግሮሙ።

然而，在完全的人中，我們也講智慧。但不是這世上的智慧，也不是這世上有權有位、將要敗亡之人的智慧。

We speak wisdom, however, among those who are full grown, yet a wisdom not of this world nor of the rulers of this world who are coming to nothing.

2:7

ዘእንበለ ጥበበ እግዚአብሔር ዘንነግር ዘኅቡእ ወክቡት ጥበብ ዘበአማን ዘአቅደመ እግዚአብሔር ሐድሶቶ ወአጽንዖቶ እምቅድመ ይትፈጠር ዓለም ዘሠርዐ እግዚአብሔር ለክብረ ዚኣነ።

我們講的，乃是從前所隱藏、上帝奧祕的智慧，就是上帝在萬世以前預定使我們得榮耀的。

But we speak God’s wisdom in a mystery, the wisdom that has been hidden, which God foreordained before the worlds for our glory,

2:8

ዘኢየአምርዎ መላእክተ ዝ ዓለም ወሶበሰኬ አእመሩ እምኢሰቀልዎ ለእግዚአ ስብሐት።

這智慧世上有權有位的人沒有一個知道的，他們若知道，就不把榮耀的主釘在十字架上了。

which none of the rulers of this world has known. For had they known it, they wouldn’t have crucified the Lord of glory.

2:9

ወባሕቱ አኮኑ ከመዝ ይቤ መጽሐፍ «ዘዐይን ኢርእየ ወእዝን ኢሰምዐ ወውስተ ልብ ሰብእ ዘኢተኀለየ ዘአስተዳለወ እግዚአብሔር ለእለ ያፈቅርዎ።»

如經上所記：上帝為愛他的人所預備的是眼睛未曾看見，耳朵未曾聽見，人心也未曾想到的。

But as it is written, “Things which an eye didn’t see, and an ear didn’t hear, which didn’t enter into the heart of man, these God has prepared for those who love him.”
