11:1
ወእምዝ፡ በጺሖ፡ ዓመት፡ አመ፡ መዋዕለ፡ ይወፅኡ፡ ነገሥት፡ ወፈነዎሙ፡ ዳዊት፡ ለኢዮአብ፡ ወለደቂቁ፡ ወለኵሉ፡ እስራኤል፡ ወቀተልዎሙ፡ ለደቂቀ፡ ዐሞን፡ ወነበሩ፡ ውስተ፡ ራባት፡ ወዳዊትሰ፡ ነበረ፡ ውስተ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም።
過了一年，到列王出戰的時候，大衛又差派約押，率領臣僕和以色列眾人出戰。他們就打敗亞捫人，圍攻拉巴。大衛仍住在耶路撒冷。
At the return of the year, at the time when kings go out, David sent Joab and his servants with him, and all Israel; and they destroyed the children of Ammon and besieged Rabbah. But David stayed at Jerusalem.
11:2
ወሶበ፡ ኮነ፡ ፍና፡ ሰርክ፡ ተንሥአ፡ ዳዊት፡ እምስካቡ፡ ወዐርገ፡ ውስተ፡ ናሕስ፡ ቤተ፡ ንጉሥ፡ ያንሶሱ፡ ወርእየ፡ ብእሲተ፡ በላዕለ፡ ናሕስ፡ እንዘ፡ ትትሐፀብ፡ ወሠናይት፡ ይእቲ፡ ብእሲት፡ ወፈድፋደ፡ ራእያ።
一日，太陽平西，大衛從床上起來，在王宮的平頂上遊行，看見一個婦人沐浴，容貌甚美，
At evening, David arose from his bed and walked on the roof of the king’s house. From the roof, he saw a woman bathing, and the woman was very beautiful to look at.
11:3
ወለአከ፡ ዳዊት፡ ኀቤሃ፡ ወይቤ፡ አኮኑ፡ ኬርሳቤኅ፡ ይእቲ፡ ወለተ፡ ኤልያብ፡ ኬጥያዊ፡ ወኦርዮስ፡ ምታ።
大衛就差人打聽那婦人是誰。有人說：「她是以連的女兒，赫人烏利亞的妻拔示巴。」
David sent and inquired after the woman. One said, “Isn’t this Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam, Uriah the Hittite’s wife?”
11:4
ወለአከ፡ ዳዊት፡ ኀቤሃ፡ ወነሥኣ፡ ወሰከበ፡ ምስሌሃ፡ ወይእቲሰ፡ በከመ፡ ተሐፅበት፡ እምነ፡ ትክቶሃ፡ ወአተወት፡ ቤታ።
大衛差人去，將婦人接來；那時她的月經才得潔淨。她來了，大衛與她同房，她就回家去了。
David sent messengers, and took her; and she came in to him, and he lay with her (for she was purified from her uncleanness); and she returned to her house.
11:5
ወፀንሰት፡ ይእቲ፡ ብእሲት፡ ወአይድዕዎ፡ ለዳዊት፡ ወትቤ፡ ፀነስኩ፡ አንሰ።
於是她懷了孕，打發人去告訴大衛說：「我懷了孕。」
The woman conceived; and she sent and told David, and said, “I am with child.”
11:6
ወለአከ፡ ዳዊት፡ ኀበ፡ ኢዮአብ፡ እንዘ፡ ይብል፡ ፈንዎአ፡ ለኦርዮስእ፡ ኀቤየ፡ ወፈነዎ፡ ኢዮአብ፡ ለኦርዮስ፡ ኬጥያዊ፡ ኀበ፡ ዳዊት።
大衛差人到約押那裏，說：「你打發赫人烏利亞到我這裏來。」約押就打發烏利亞去見大衛。
David sent to Joab, “Send me Uriah the Hittite.” Joab sent Uriah to David.
11:7
ወበጽሐ፡ ኦርዮስ፡ ወቦአ፡ ኀቤሁ፡ ወተስእሎ፡ ዳዊት፡ በእንተ፡ ዳኅናሁ፡ ለኢዮአብ፡ ወበእንተ፡ ዳኅና፡ ሕዝብ፡ ወበእንተ፡ ዳኅና፡ ፀብእ።
烏利亞來了，大衛問約押好，也問兵好，又問爭戰的事怎樣。
When Uriah had come to him, David asked him how Joab did, and how the people fared, and how the war prospered.
11:8
ወይቤሎ፡ ዳዊት፡ ለኦርዮስ፡ ሖር፡ ረድ፡ ውስተ፡ ቤትከ፡ ወተሐፀብ፡ እገሪከ፡ ወወፅአ፡ ኦርዮስ፡ እምነ፡ ቤተ፡ ንጉሥ፡ ወወፂእ፡ ተለዎ፡ ወዓሌ፡ ንጉሥ።
大衛對烏利亞說：「你回家去，洗洗腳吧！」烏利亞出了王宮，隨後王送他一分食物。
David said to Uriah, “Go down to your house and wash your feet.” Uriah departed out of the king’s house, and a gift from the king was sent after him.
11:9
ወቤተ፡ ኦርዮስ፡ ዴዴ፡ ቤተ፡ ንጉሥ፡ ምስለ፡ አግብርተ፡ እግዚኡ፡ ወኢወረደ፡ ቤቶ።
烏利亞卻和他主人的僕人一同睡在宮門外，沒有回家去。
But Uriah slept at the door of the king’s house with all the servants of his lord, and didn’t go down to his house.
11:10
ወይቤሎ፡ ዳዊት፡ ለኦርዮስ፡ አኮኑ፡ እምነ፡ ሐቅል፡ መጻእከ፡ ወለምንት፡ ኢወረድከ፡ ውስተ፡ ቤትከ።
有人告訴大衛說：「烏利亞沒有回家去。」大衛就問烏利亞說：「你從遠路上來，為甚麼不回家去呢？」
When they had told David, saying, “Uriah didn’t go down to his house,” David said to Uriah, “Haven’t you come from a journey? Why didn’t you go down to your house?”
11:11
ወይቤሎ፡ ኦርዮስ፡ ለዳዊት፡ ታቦተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወእስራኤል፡ ወይሁዳ፡ ይነብሩ፡ ውስተ፡ ደባትር፡ ወኢዮአብ፡ እግዚእየ፡ ወአግብርተ፡ እግዚእየ፡ ውስተ፡ ገጸ፡ ምድር፡ ይትዐየኑ፡ ወአንሰ፡ እበውእ፡ ውስተ፡ ቤትየ፡ ከመ፡ እብላዕ፡ ወእስተይ፡ ወከመ፡ እስክብ፡ ምስለ፡ ብእሲትየ ፤ እፎኑ፡ ዝንቱ ፤ ሕያው፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወሕያው፡ ነፍስከ፡ ከመ፡ ኢይንብሮ፡ ለዝንቱ፡ ነገር።
烏利亞對大衛說：「約櫃和以色列與猶大兵都住在棚裏，我主約押和我主 的僕人都在田野安營，我豈可回家吃喝、與妻子同寢呢？我敢在王面前起誓 ：我決不行這事！」
Uriah said to David, “The ark, Israel, and Judah, are staying in tents; and my lord Joab and the servants of my lord are encamped in the open field. Shall I then go into my house to eat and to drink, and to lie with my wife? As you live, and as your soul lives, I will not do this thing!”
11:12
ወይቤሎ፡ ዳዊት፡ ለኦርዮ፡ ንበር፡ ዝየ፡ ዮም፡ ወጌሠመ፡ እፌንወከ፡ ወነበረ፡ ኦርዮ፡ ውስተ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም፡ ይእተ፡ አሚረ።
大衛吩咐烏利亞說：「你今日仍住在這裏，明日我打發你去。」於是烏利亞那日和次日住在耶路撒冷。
David said to Uriah, “Stay here today also, and tomorrow I will let you depart.” So Uriah stayed in Jerusalem that day and the next day.
11:13
ወጸውዖ፡ ዳዊት፡ ወበልዐ፡ ወሰትየ፡ በቅድሜሁ፡ ወአስከሮ፡ ወወፅአ፡ ሰርከ፡ ከመ፡ ይስክብ፡ ውስተ፡ ዐራቱ፡ ምስለ፡ አግብርተ፡ እግዚኡ፡ ወኢወረደ፡ ቤቶ።
大衛召了烏利亞來，叫他在自己面前吃喝，使他喝醉。到了晚上，烏利亞出去與他主的僕人一同住宿，還沒有回到家裏去。
When David had called him, he ate and drank before him; and he made him drunk. At evening, he went out to lie on his bed with the servants of his lord, but didn’t go down to his house.
11:14
ወሶበ፡ ጸብሐ፡ ጸሐፈ፡ ዳዊት፡ መጽሐፈ፡ ኀበ፡ ኢዮአብ፡ ወፈነወ፡ ምስለ፡ ኦርዮ።
次日早晨，大衛寫信與約押，交烏利亞隨手帶去。
In the morning, David wrote a letter to Joab and sent it by the hand of Uriah.
11:15
ወጸሐፈ፡ ውስተ፡ መጽሐፍ፡ እንዘ፡ ይብል፡ አብእዎአ፡ ለኦርዮ፡ ኀበ፡ ጽኑዕ፡ ቀትልአ፡ ፍጽመአ፡ ወተመየጡአ፡ ወኅድግዎአ፡ ያቍስልዎአ፡ ወይሙትአ።
信內寫着說：「要派烏利亞前進，到陣勢極險之處，你們便退後，使他被殺。」
He wrote in the letter, saying, “Send Uriah to the forefront of the hottest battle, and retreat from him, that he may be struck and die.”
11:16
ወእምዝ፡ እንዘ፡ የዐቅባ፡ ኢዮአብ፡ ለሀገር፡ ወሰድዎ፡ ለኦርዮ፡ ውስተ፡ መካን፡ ኀበ፡ ያአምር፡ ከመ፡ ሀለዉ፡ ዕደው፡ ጽኑዓን፡ ህየ።
約押圍城的時候，知道敵人那裏有勇士，便將烏利亞派在那裏。
When Joab kept watch on the city, he assigned Uriah to the place where he knew that valiant men were.
11:17
ወወፅኡ፡ ሰብአ፡ ሀገር፡ ከመ፡ ይትቃተሉ፡ ምስለ፡ ኢዮአብ፡ ወወድቁ፡ እምነ፡ ሰብኡ፡ ለዳዊት፡ ወሞተ፡ ኦርዮኒ፡ ኬጥያዊ።
城裏的人出來和約押打仗；大衛的僕人中有幾個被殺的，赫人烏利亞也死了。
The men of the city went out and fought with Joab. Some of the people fell, even of David’s servants; and Uriah the Hittite died also.
11:18
ወፈነወ፡ ኢዮአብ፡ ይዜንውዎ፡ ለንጉሥ፡ ኵሎ፡ ዜና፡ ፀብእ፡ ይንግርዎ፡ ለንጉሥ ፤
於是，約押差人去將爭戰的一切事告訴大衛，
Then Joab sent and told David all the things concerning the war;
11:20
ወይቤ፡ እመ፡ ተምዕዐ፡ ንጉሥ፡ ወይቤ፡ ለምንት፡ ቀረብክሙ፡ ኀበ፡ ሀገር፡ ትትቃተሉ፡ ኢታአምሩኑ፡ ከመ፡ ይነድፉ፡ እምኀበ፡ አረፍት።
王若發怒，問你說：『你們打仗為甚麼挨近城牆呢？豈不知敵人必從城上射箭嗎？
it shall be that, if the king’s wrath arise, and he asks you, ‘Why did you go so near to the city to fight? Didn’t you know that they would shoot from the wall?
11:21
መኑ፡ ቀተሎ፡ ለአበሜሌክ፡ ወልደ፡ ኢዮርብዓም፡ ወልደ፡ ኔር፡ አኮኑ፡ ብእሲት፡ ወገረት፡ ስባረ፡ ማኅረፅ፡ ላዕሌሁ፡ እምነ፡ መልዕልተ፡ አረፍት፡ ወሞተ፡ በቴምናስ ፤ ለምንት፡ ቀረብክሙ፡ ኀበ፡ አረፍት ፤ ወትብሎ፡ ገብርከኒ፡ ኦርዮ፡ ኬጥያዊ፡ ሞተ።
從前打死耶路‧比設 兒子亞比米勒的是誰呢？豈不是一個婦人從城上拋下一塊上磨石來，打在他身上，他就死在提備斯嗎？你們為甚麼挨近城牆呢？』你就說：『王的僕人－赫人烏利亞也死了。』」
Who struck Abimelech the son of Jerubbesheth? Didn’t a woman cast an upper millstone on him from the wall, so that he died at Thebez? Why did you go so near the wall?’ then you shall say, ‘Your servant Uriah the Hittite is also dead.’”
11:22
ወሖረ፡ ሐዋርያሁ፡ ለኢዮአብ፡ ኀበ፡ ንጉሥ፡ ውስተ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም፡ ወበጽሐ፡ ወዜነዎ፡ ለዳዊት፡ ኵሎ፡ ዘከመ፡ ይቤሎ፡ ኢዮአብ፡ ኵሎ፡ ዜና፡ ፀብእ፡ ወተምዐ፡ ዳዊት፡ ላዕለ፡ ኢዮአብ፡ ወይቤሎ፡ ለውእቱ፡ ሐዋርያ፡ ለምንት፡ በጻሕክሙ፡ ኀበ፡ አረፍተ፡ ሀገር፡ ትትቃተሉ፡ ኢታአምሩኑ፡ ከመ፡ ትቈስሉ፡ እምነ፡ አረፍት፡ መኑ፡ ቀተሎ፡ ለአበሜሌክ፡ ወልደ፡ ኤርብዓም፡ አኮኑ፡ ብእሲት፡ ወገረት፡ ላዕሌሁ፡ ስባረ፡ ማኅረጽ፡ እምላዕለ፡ አረፍት፡ ወሞተ፡ በተምናስ፡ ለምንት፡ በጻሕክሙ፡ አረፍተ።
使者起身，來見大衛，照着約押所吩咐他的話奏告大衛。
So the messenger went, and came and showed David all that Joab had sent him for.
11:23
ወይቤሎ፡ ውእቱ፡ ሐዋርያ፡ ለዳዊት፡ ሶበ፡ ኀየሉነ፡ ወዴገኑነ፡ እሙንቱ፡ ዕደው፡ እስከ፡ ገዳም፡ አውጽኡነ፡ ወእምዝ፡ ተመየጥናሆሙ፡ ወሰደድናሆሙ፡ እስከ፡ ኆኅተ፡ አንቀጽ።
使者對大衛說：「敵人強過我們，出到郊野與我們打仗，我們追殺他們，直到城門口。
The messenger said to David, “The men prevailed against us, and came out to us into the field; and we were on them even to the entrance of the gate.
11:24
ወነደፉ፡ ሰብአ፡ ሐጽ፡ ላዕለ፡ ደቅከ፡ እመልዕልተ፡ አረፍት፡ ወሞቱ፡ እምውስተ፡ ደቁ፡ ለንጉሥ፡ ወገብርከኒ፡ ኦርዮስ፡ ኬጥያዊ፡ ሞተ።
射箭的從城上射王的僕人，射死幾個，赫人烏利亞也死了。」
The shooters shot at your servants from off the wall; and some of the king’s servants are dead, and your servant Uriah the Hittite is also dead.”
11:25
ወይቤሎ፡ ዳዊት፡ ለውእቱ፡ ሐዋርያ፡ ከመዝ፡ በሎ፡ ለኢዮአብ፡ ኢይዕፀብከአ፡ ዝንቱአ፡ ነገር፡ ቅድመ፡ አዕይንቲከአ፡ እስመአ፡ ከመዝአ፡ ውእቱአ፡ ቦአመአ፡ ከማሁአ፡ ወቦአመአ፡ ከመዝአ፡ ትበልዕአ፡ መጥባሕትአ፡ ወአጽንዕአ፡ አንተሰአ፡ ተቃትሎአ፡ ምስለአ፡ ሀገርአ፡ ወአስተጋብእአ፡ ወአጽንዕአ።
王向使者說：「你告訴約押說：『不要因這事愁悶，刀劍或吞滅這人或吞滅那人，沒有一定的；你只管竭力攻城，將城傾覆。』可以用這話勉勵約押。」
Then David said to the messenger, “Tell Joab, ‘Don’t let this thing displease you, for the sword devours one as well as another. Make your battle stronger against the city, and overthrow it.’ Encourage him.”
11:26
ወሰምዐት፡ ብእሲቱ፡ ለኦርዮስ፡ ከመ፡ ሞተ፡ ኦርዮስ፡ ወበከየቶ፡ ለምታ።
烏利亞的妻聽見丈夫烏利亞死了，就為他哀哭。
When Uriah’s wife heard that Uriah her husband was dead, she mourned for her husband.
11:27
ወእምዝ፡ ሶበ፡ ኀለፈ፡ ላሓ፡ ለአከ፡ ላቲ፡ ዳዊት፡ ወነሥኣ፡ ወአእተዋ፡ ቤቶ፡ ወአውሰባ፡ ወኮነቶ፡ ብእሲቶ፡ ወወለደት፡ ሎቱ፡ ወልደ ፤ ወኮነ፡ እኩየ፡ ዝንቱ፡ ነገር፡ ዘገብረ፡ ዳዊት፡ በቅድመ፡ አዕይንቲሁ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር።
哀哭的日子過了，大衛差人將她接到宮裏，她就作了大衛的妻，給大衛生了一個兒子。但大衛所行的這事，耶和華甚不喜悅。
When the mourning was past, David sent and took her home to his house, and she became his wife and bore him a son. But the thing that David had done displeased Yahweh.
