5:1
ወመጽኡ፡ ኵሉ፡ ሕዝበ፡ እስራኤል፡ ኀበ፡ ዳዊት፡ ውስተ፡ ኬብሮን፡ ወይቤልዎ፡ ናሁ፡ ሥጋከ፡ ወዐፅምከ፡ ንሕነ።
以色列眾支派來到希伯崙見大衛，說：「我們原是你的骨肉。
Then all the tribes of Israel came to David at Hebron and spoke, saying, “Behold, we are your bone and your flesh.
5:2
ወቀዲሙኒ፡ እንዘ፡ ሀለወ፡ ሳኦል፡ ይነግሥ፡ ለነ፡ አንተ፡ ክመ፡ ዘታወፅኦሙሰ፡ ወታበውኦሙ፡ ለእስራኤል፡ ወይቤለከ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ አንተ፡ ትርዕዮሙ፡ ለሕዝብየ፡ እስራኤል።
從前掃羅作我們王的時候，率領以色列人出入的是你；耶和華也曾應許你說：『你必牧養我的民以色列，作以色列的君。』」
In times past, when Saul was king over us, it was you who led Israel out and in. Yahweh said to you, ‘You will be shepherd of my people Israel, and you will be prince over Israel.’”
5:3
ወመጽኡ፡ ኵሎሙ፡ ሊቃናተ፡ እስራኤል፡ ኀበ፡ ንጉሠ፡ ኬብሮን፡ ወተማሐለ፡ ምስሌሆሙ፡ ዳዊት፡ መሐላ፡ በኬብሮን፡ በቅድመ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወቀብእዎ፡ ለዳዊት፡ ይንግሥ፡ ላዕለ፡ ኵሉ፡ እስራኤል።
於是以色列的長老都來到希伯崙見大衛王，大衛在希伯崙耶和華面前與他們立約，他們就膏大衛作以色列的王。
So all the elders of Israel came to the king to Hebron, and King David made a covenant with them in Hebron before Yahweh; and they anointed David king over Israel.
5:4
ወወልደ፡ ፴ዓመት፡ ውእቱ፡ ዳዊት፡ አመ፡ ያነግሥዎ፡ ወ፵ዓመተ፡ ነግሠ።
大衛登基的時候年三十歲，在位四十年；
David was thirty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years.
5:5
ወ፯ዓመተ፡ ወ፮አውራኀ፡ ነግሠ፡ በኬብሮን፡ ላዕለ፡ ይሁዳ ፤ ፴ወ፫ዓመተ፡ ነግሠ፡ ላዕለ፡ ኵሉ፡ እስራኤል፡ ወላዕለ፡ ይሁዳ፡ በኢየሩሳሌም።
在希伯崙作猶大王七年零六個月，在耶路撒冷作以色列和猶大王三十三年。
In Hebron he reigned over Judah seven years and six months, and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty-three years over all Israel and Judah.
5:6
ወሖረ፡ ዳዊት፡ ወሰብኡ፡ ውስተ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም፡ ኀበ፡ ኢያቡሴዎን፡ እለ፡ ይነብሩ፡ ውስተ፡ ይእቲ፡ ምድር፡ ወይቤልዎ፡ ለዳዊት፡ ኢትበውእ፡ ዝየ፡ ወተቃወምዎ፡ ዕውራን፡ ወስቡራን፡ ወይቤሉ፡ ኢትበውእ፡ ዝየ፡ ዳዊት።
大衛和跟隨他的人到了耶路撒冷，要攻打住那地方的耶布斯人。耶布斯人對大衛說：「你若不趕出瞎子、瘸子，必不能進這地方」；心裏想大衛決不能進去。
The king and his men went to Jerusalem against the Jebusites, the inhabitants of the land, who spoke to David, saying, “The blind and the lame will keep you out of here,” thinking, “David can’t come in here.”
5:7
ወአስተጋብአ፡ ዳዊት፡ ቅጽራ፡ ለጽዮን፡ እንተ፡ ይእቲ፡ ሀገረ፡ ዳዊት።
然而大衛攻取錫安的保障，就是大衛的城。
Nevertheless David took the stronghold of Zion. This is David’s city.
5:8
ወይቤ፡ ዳዊት፡ ይእተ፡ አሚረ፡ ኵሎ፡ ዘይቀትሎሙ፡ ለኢያቡሴዎን፡ ለይርግዞሙ፡ በኵናት፡ ለዕውራን፡ ወለስቡራን፡ ወለእለ፡ ይጻልእዋ፡ ለነፍሰ፡ ዳዊት፡ ወበበይነ፡ ዝንቱ፡ ይቤሉ፡ ዕውራን፡ ወስቡራን፡ ኢይባኡ፡ ቤት፡ እግዚአብሔር።
當日，大衛說：「誰攻打耶布斯人，當上水溝攻打我心裏所恨惡的瘸子、瞎子。」從此有俗語說：「在那裏有瞎子、瘸子，他不能進屋去。」
David said on that day, “Whoever strikes the Jebusites, let him go up to the watercourse and strike those lame and blind, who are hated by David’s soul.” Therefore they say, “The blind and the lame can’t come into the house.”
5:9
ወነበረ፡ ዳዊት፡ ውስተ፡ ቅጽር፡ ወተሰምየት፡ ይእቲ፡ ሀገረ፡ ዳዊት፡ ወነደቀ፡ ሀገረ፡ እንተ፡ ዐውዱ፡ እምጽንፋ፡ ወቤቶሂ።
大衛住在保障裏，給保障起名叫大衛城。大衛又從米羅以裏，周圍築牆。
David lived in the stronghold, and called it David’s city. David built around from Millo and inward.
5:10
ወሖረ፡ ዳዊት፡ እንዘ፡ የሐውር፡ ወየዐቢ፡ ወእግዚአብሔር፡ ዘኵሎ፡ ይመልክ፡ ሀለወ፡ ምስሌሁ።
大衛日見強盛，因為耶和華－萬軍之上帝與他同在。
David grew greater and greater, for Yahweh, the God of Armies, was with him.
5:11
ወፈነወ፡ ኪራም፡ ንጉሠ፡ ጢሮስ፡ ሐዋርያተ፡ ኀበ፡ ዳዊት፡ ወዕፀወ፡ አርዝ፡ ወጸረብተ፡ ዕፅ፡ ወወቀርተ፡ እብን፡ ወሐነጸ፡ ቤተ፡ ለዳዊት።
泰爾王希蘭將香柏木運到大衛那裏，又差遣使者和木匠、石匠給大衛建造宮殿。
Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David, with cedar trees, carpenters, and masons; and they built David a house.
5:12
ወአእመረ፡ ዳዊት፡ ከመ፡ አስትዳለዎ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ይንግሥ፡ ላዕለ፡ እስራኤል፡ ወከመ፡ አልዐላ፡ ለመንግሥቱ፡ በእንተ፡ ሕዝቡ፡ እስራኤል።
大衛就知道耶和華堅立他作以色列王，又為自己的民以色列使他的國興旺。
David perceived that Yahweh had established him king over Israel, and that he had exalted his kingdom for his people Israel’s sake.
5:13
ወነሥአ፡ ዳዊት፡ ዓዲ፡ እንስት፡ ዕቁባት፡ እምነ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም፡ ወእምድኅረ፡ መጽአ፡ ውስተ፡ ኬብሮን፡ ወእምዝ፡ ትወልዱ፡ ለዳዊት፡ ዓዲ፡ ደቂቅ፡ ወአዋልድ።
大衛離開希伯崙之後，在耶路撒冷又立后妃，又生兒女。
David took more concubines and wives for himself out of Jerusalem, after he had come from Hebron; and more sons and daughters were born to David.
5:14
ወዝንቱ፡ ውእቱ፡ አስማቲሆሙ፡ ለእለ፡ ተወልዱ፡ ሎቱ፡ በኢየሩሳሌም፡ ሶሙስ፡ ወሰባብ፡ ወናታን፡ ወሰሎሞን ፤
在耶路撒冷所生的兒子是沙母亞、朔罷、拿單、所羅門、
These are the names of those who were born to him in Jerusalem: Shammua, Shobab, Nathan, Solomon,
5:15
ወኢየቤሖር፡ ወኢሊሱስ፡ ወናፌቅ፡ ወኢያፌሳ ፤
益轄、以利書亞、尼斐、雅非亞、
Ibhar, Elishua, Nepheg, Japhia,
5:16
ወኤልሶሚ፡ ወኢያጴዳሔ፡ ወኤሊፊት፡ ወሶሜዔ፡ ወኢየሰበቄ፡ ወናታን፡ ወገለማሔን፡ ወኢየብሖር፡ ወትሔሱስ፡ ወኢለፋሌድ፡ ወናጌድ፡ ወናፌቅ፡ ወእነትሕልያ፡ ወሳሚስ፡ ወበዓሊ፡ ወቦተ፡ ወኢሊፋለት።
以利沙瑪、以利雅大、以利法列。
Elishama, Eliada, and Eliphelet.
5:17
ወሰምዑ፡ ኢሎፍሊ፡ ከመ፡ ቀብእዎ፡ ለዳዊት፡ ወአንገሥዎ፡ ላዕለ፡ እስራኤል፡ ወዐርጉ፡ ኵሎሙ፡ ኢሎፍሊ፡ ይኀሥሥዎ፡ ለዳዊት፡ ወወረደ፡ ውስተ፡ ቅጽር።
非利士人聽見人膏大衛作以色列王，非利士眾人就上來尋索大衛；大衛聽見，就下到保障。
When the Philistines heard that they had anointed David king over Israel, all the Philistines went up to seek David, but David heard about it and went down to the stronghold.
5:18
ወበጽሑ፡ ኢሎፍሊ፡ ወወረዱ፡ ውስተ፡ ቈላተ፡ ጢጣኖስ።
非利士人來了，布散在利乏音谷。
Now the Philistines had come and spread themselves in the valley of Rephaim.
5:19
ወተስእለ፡ ዳዊት፡ ቃለ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወይቤ፡ እዕርግኑ፡ ኀበ፡ ኢሎፍሊ፡ ወታገብኦሙ፡ ውስተ፡ እዴየ፡ ወይቤሎ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ለዳዊት፡ ዕርግ፡ ወአግብኦ፡ ኣገብኦሙ፡ ውስት፡ እዴከ፡ ለኢሎፍሊ።
大衛求問耶和華說：「我可以上去攻打非利士人嗎？你將他們交在我手裏嗎？」耶和華說：「你可以上去，我必將非利士人交在你手裏。」
David inquired of Yahweh, saying, “Shall I go up against the Philistines? Will you deliver them into my hand?” Yahweh said to David, “Go up; for I will certainly deliver the Philistines into your hand.”
5:20
ወመጽኦሙ፡ ዳዊት፡ እምነ፡ መልዕልተ፡ ምቅታል፡ ወቀተሎሙ፡ ለኢሎፍሊ፡ በህየ፡ ወይቤ፡ ዳዊት፡ ቀተሎሙ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ለፀርየ፡ ለኢሎፍሊ፡ በቅድሜየ፡ ከመ፡ ክዕወተ፡ ማይ፡ ወበበይነ፡ ዝንቱ፡ ተሰምየ፡ ስሙ፡ ለውእቱ፡ መካን፡ መልዕልተ፡ ምቅታል።
大衛來到巴力‧毗拉心，在那裏擊殺非利士人，說：「耶和華在我面前沖破敵人，如同水沖去一般。」因此稱那地方為巴力‧毗拉心。
David came to Baal Perazim, and David struck them there. Then he said, “Yahweh has broken my enemies before me, like the breach of waters.” Therefore he called the name of that place Baal Perazim.
5:21
ወኀደጉ፡ በህየ፡ አማልክቲሆሙ፡ ወነሥኦሙ፡ ዳዊት፡ ወሰብእ፡ እለ፡ ምስሌሁ።
非利士人將偶像撇在那裏，大衛和跟隨他的人拿去了。
They left their images there, and David and his men took them away.
5:22
ወደገሙ፡ ዓዲ፡ ኢሎፍሊ፡ ዐሪገ፡ ወወረዱ፡ ውስተ፡ ቄላተ፡ ጢጣኖስ።
非利士人又上來，布散在利乏音谷。
The Philistines came up yet again and spread themselves in the valley of Rephaim.
5:23
ወተስእለ፡ ዳዊት፡ ቃለ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወይቤሎ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ዕርግ፡ ተቀበሎሙ፡ ወጕየይ፡ እምኔሆሙ፡ እስከ፡ ይበጽሑ፡ በገቦሁ፡ ለቀለውትሞኖስ።
大衛求問耶和華；耶和華說：「不要一直地上去，要轉到他們後頭，從桑林對面攻打他們。
When David inquired of Yahweh, he said, “You shall not go up. Circle around behind them, and attack them in front of the mulberry trees.
5:24
ይእት፡ ጊዜ፡ ረድ፡ ላዕሌሆሙ፡ እስመ፡ ይወፅእ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ይእተ፡ ጊዜ፡ ቅድሜከ፡ ከመ፡ ይቅትሎሙ፡ ለኢሎፍሊ፡ በውስተ፡ ቀትል።
你聽見桑樹梢上有腳步的聲音，就要急速前去，因為那時耶和華已經在你前頭去攻打非利士人的軍隊。」
When you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the mulberry trees, then stir yourself up; for then Yahweh has gone out before you to strike the army of the Philistines.”
5:25
ወገብረ፡ ዳዊት፡ በከመ፡ አዘዞ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወቀተሎሙ፡ ለኢሎፍሊ፡ እምነ፡ ገባኦን፡ እስከ፡ ምድረ፡ ጌሴራ።
大衛就遵着耶和華所吩咐的去行，攻打非利士人，從迦巴直到基色。
David did so, as Yahweh commanded him, and struck the Philistines all the way from Geba to Gezer.
