20:1
ወነበበ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ዘቃለ ፡ ወይቤ ።
上帝吩咐這一切的話說：
God spoke all these words, saying,
20:2
አነ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ እግዚእ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ዘአውፃእኩክሙ ፡ እምድረ ፡ ግብጽ ፡ እምቤተ ፡ ምቅናይክሙ ።
「我是耶和華－你的上帝，曾將你從埃及地為奴之家領出來。
“I am Yahweh your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
20:3
ኢታምልክ ፡ አማልክተ ፡ ዘእንበሌየ ።
「除了我以外，你不可有別的神。
“You shall have no other gods before me.
20:4
ወኢትግበር ፡ ለከ ፡ አምላከ ፡ ከመዘ ፡ በውስተ ፡ ሰማይ ፡ በላዕሉ ፡ ወከመዘ ፡ በውስተ ፡ ምድር ፡ በታሕቱ ፡ ወበውስተ ፡ ማያት ፡ ዘበታሕቴሃ ፡ ለምድር ።
「不可為自己雕刻偶像，也不可做甚麼形像彷彿上天、下地，和地底下、水中的百物。
“You shall not make for yourselves an idol, nor any image of anything that is in the heavens above, or that is on the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
20:5
ኢትስግድ ፡ ሎሙ ፡ ወኢታምልኮሙ ፡ እስመ ፡ አነ ፡ እግዚእ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ዚአከ ፤ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ቀናኢ ፡ አነ ፡ ዘእፈዲ ፡ ኀጢአተ ፡ አብ ፡ ለውሉድ ፡ እስከ ፡ ሣልስት ፡ ወራብዕት ፡ ትውልድ ፡ ለእለ ፡ ይጸልዑኒ ።
不可跪拜那些像，也不可事奉它，因為我耶和華－你的上帝是忌邪的上帝。恨我的，我必追討他的罪，自父及子，直到三四代；
you shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them, for I, Yahweh your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and on the fourth generation of those who hate me,
20:6
ወእገብር ፡ ምሕረተ ፡ ለለ፲፻ለእለ ፡ ያፈቅሩኒ ፡ ወትእዛዝየ ፡ እለ ፡ የዐቅቡ ፡ ወለእለ ፡ የዐቅቡ ፡ ሕግየ ።
愛我、守我誡命的，我必向他們發慈愛，直到千代。
and showing loving kindness to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.
20:7
ኢትምሐል ፡ ስመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ፈጣሪከ ፡ በሐሰት ፡ እስመ ፡ ኢያነጽሕ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ዘይነሥእ ፡ ስሞ ፡ በሐሰት ።
「不可妄稱耶和華－你上帝的名；因為妄稱耶和華名的，耶和華必不以他為無罪。
“You shall not misuse the name of Yahweh your God, for Yahweh will not hold him guiltless who misuses his name.
20:8
ተዘከር ፡ ዕለተ ፡ ሰንበት ፡ አጽድቆታ ።
「當記念安息日，守為聖日。
“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
20:9
ሰዱሰ ፡ ዕለተ ፡ ግበር ፡ ተግበረ ፡ ቦቱ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ትካ[ዘ]ከ ።
六日要勞碌做你一切的工，
You shall labor six days, and do all your work,
20:10
ወበሳብዕት ፡ ዕለት ፡ ሰንበት ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ ለእግዚእከ ፡ ኢትግበሩ ፡ ባቲ ፡ ወኢምንተ ፡ ግብረ ፡ ኢአንተ ፡ ወኢወልድከ ፡ ወኢወለትከ ፡ ወኢአድግከ ፡ ወኢኵሉ ፡ እንስሳከ ፡ ወኢፈላሲ ፡ ዘይነብር ፡ ኀቤከ ።
但第七日是向耶和華－你上帝當守的安息日。這一日你和你的兒女、僕婢、牲畜，並你城裏寄居的客旅，無論何工都不可做；
but the seventh day is a Sabbath to Yahweh your God. You shall not do any work in it, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your livestock, nor your stranger who is within your gates;
20:11
እስመ ፡ በሰዱስ ፡ ዕለት ፡ ገብረ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ሰማየ ፡ ወምድረ ፡ ወባሕረ ፡ ወኵሎ ፡ ዘውስቴቱ ፡ ወአዕረፈ ፡ አመ ፡ ሳብዕት ፡ ዕለት ፤ በበይነዝ ፡ ባረካ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለሳብዕት ፡ ዕለት ፡ ወአጽደቃ ።
因為六日之內，耶和華造天、地、海，和其中的萬物，第七日便安息，所以耶和華賜福與安息日，定為聖日。
for in six days Yahweh made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day; therefore Yahweh blessed the Sabbath day, and made it holy.
20:12
አክብር ፡ አባከ ፡ ወእመከ ፡ ከመ ፡ ይኩንከ ፡ ጽድቀ ፤ ብዙኀ ፡ ዕለተ ፡ ትረክብ ፡ በውስተ ፡ ምድር ፡ ዘጻድቅት ፡ ውእቱ ፡ እግዚእ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ የሀብከ ።
「當孝敬父母，使你的日子在耶和華－你上帝所賜你的地上得以長久。
“Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you.
20:13
ኢትቅትል ።
「不可殺人。
“You shall not murder.
20:14
ኢትዘሙ ።
「不可姦淫。
“You shall not commit adultery.
20:15
ኢትስርቅ ።
「不可偷盜。
“You shall not steal.
20:16
ስምዐ ፡ በሐሰት ፡ ኢትስማዕ ፡ ለቢጽከ ፡ ስምዐ ፡ በሐሰት ።
「不可作假見證陷害人。
“You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.
20:17
ኢትፍቶ ፡ ብእሲተ ፡ ካልእከ ፤ ኢትፍቶ ፡ ቤቶ ፡ ለካልእከ ፡ ወኢገራህቶ ፡ ወኢገብሮ ፡ ወኢአመቶ ፡ ወኢላህሞ ፡ ወኢብዕራዊሁ ፡ ወኢኵሎ ፡ በውስተ ፡ እንስሳሁ ፡ ዘአጥረየ ፡ አጥርዮ ፡ ቢጽከ ።
「不可貪戀人的房屋；也不可貪戀人的妻子、僕婢、牛驢，並他一切所有的。」
“You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.”
20:18
ወኵሉ ፡ ሕዝብ ፡ ይሬኢ ፡ ቃለ ፡ ወብርሃነ ፡ ዘለንጰስ ፡ ወቃለ ፡ ዘመጥቅዕ ፡ ወደብሩ ፡ ይጠይስ ፡ ወፈሪሆ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ሕዝብ ፡ ቆመ ፡ ርኁቀ ።
眾百姓見雷轟、閃電、角聲、山上冒煙，就都發顫，遠遠地站立，
All the people perceived the thunderings, the lightnings, the sound of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking. When the people saw it, they trembled, and stayed at a distance.
20:19
ወይቤልዎ ፡ ለሙሴ ፡ አንተ ፡ ተናገር ፡ ምስሌነ ፡ ወይትናገር ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ምስሌከ ፡ ከመ ፡ ኢንሙት ።
對摩西說：「求你和我們說話，我們必聽；不要上帝和我們說話，恐怕我們死亡。」
They said to Moses, “Speak with us yourself, and we will listen; but don’t let God speak with us, lest we die.”
20:20
ወይቤሎሙ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ በእንተዝ ፡ ከመ ፡ ያመክርክሙ ፡ መጽአ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ኀቤክሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ ይኅድር ፡ ፍርሀተ ፡ ዚአሁ ፡ ላዕሌክሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ ኢተአብሱ ።
摩西對百姓說：「不要懼怕；因為上帝降臨是要試驗你們，叫你們時常敬畏他，不致犯罪。」
Moses said to the people, “Don’t be afraid, for God has come to test you, and that his fear may be before you, that you won’t sin.”
20:21
ወይቀውም ፡ ሕዝብ ፡ ርሑቀ ፡ ወሙሴ ፡ ቦአ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ጣቃ ፡ ኀበ ፡ ሀለወ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
於是百姓遠遠地站立；摩西就挨近上帝所在的幽暗之中。
The people stayed at a distance, and Moses came near to the thick darkness where God was.
20:22
ወይቤሎ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለሙሴ ፡ በሎሙ ፡ ለቤተ ፡ ያዕቆብ ፡ ወዜንዎሙ ፡ ለውሉደ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ከመ ፡ እምሰማይ ፡ ተናገርኩክሙ ።
耶和華對摩西說：「你要向以色列人這樣說：『你們自己看見我從天上和你們說話了。
Yahweh said to Moses, “This is what you shall tell the children of Israel: ‘You yourselves have seen that I have talked with you from heaven.
20:23
ኢታምልኩ ፡ አምላከ ፡ ዘብሩር ፡ ወኢታምልኩ ፡ አምላከ ፡ ዘወርቅ ፡ ወኢትግበሩ ፡ ለክሙ ፡ ዘከመዝ ፡ አምላከ ።
你們不可做甚麼神像與我相配，不可為自己做金銀的神像。
You shall most certainly not make gods of silver or gods of gold for yourselves to be alongside me.
20:24
ምሥዋዐ ፡ በውስተ ፡ ምድር ፡ ግበር ፡ ሊተ ፡ [ወሡዕ ፡] በውስቴታ ፡ መባ[አ]ክሙ ፡ ወቤዛክሙ ፡ በግዐ ፡ ወአልህምተ ፡ በኵሉ ፡ መካን ፡ በኀበ ፡ ሰመይኩ ፡ ስምየ ፡ በህየ ፡ ወእመጽእ ፡ ኀቤከ ፡ [ወእባርከከ ።]
你要為我築土壇，在上面以牛羊獻為燔祭和平安祭。凡記下我名的地方，我必到那裏賜福給你。
You shall make an altar of earth for me, and shall sacrifice on it your burnt offerings and your peace offerings, your sheep and your cattle. In every place where I record my name I will come to you and I will bless you.
20:25
ወለእመ ፡ [ምሥዋዐ ፡] ዘእብን ፡ ገበርከ ፡ ሊተ ፡ ኢትንድቆሙ ፡ ፈጺሐከ ፡ [እስመ ፡ መጥባሕተከ ፡ አንበርከ ፡ ላዕሌሁ ፡ ወአርኰስከ ።]
你若為我築一座石壇，不可用鑿成的石頭，因你在上頭一動家具，就把壇污穢了。
If you make me an altar of stone, you shall not build it of cut stones; for if you lift up your tool on it, you have polluted it.
20:26
ኢታዕርግ ፡ መዓርገ ፡ በውስተ ፡ ምሥዋዕየ ፡ ኢይትከሠት ፡ ምኅፋሪከ ፡ በህየ ።
你上我的壇，不可用臺階，免得露出你的下體來。』」
You shall not go up by steps to my altar, that your nakedness may not be exposed to it.’
