19:1

ወበሣልስ ፡ ወርኅ ፡ እምዘ ፡ ወፅኡ ፡ ውሉዶ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ እምድረ ፡ ግብጽ ፡ በዛ ፡ ዕለት ፡ መጽኡ ፡ ወስተ ፡ ገዳም ፡ ዘሲና ።

以色列人出埃及地以後，滿了三個月的那一天，就來到西奈的曠野。

In the third month after the children of Israel had gone out of the land of Egypt, on that same day they came into the wilderness of Sinai.

19:2

ወወፅኡ ፡ እምራፈድ ፡ ወበጽሑ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ገዳም ፡ ዘሲና ፡ ወኀደሩ ፡ ህየ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ መንጸረ ፡ ደብሩ ።

他們離了利非訂，來到西奈的曠野，就在那裏的山下安營。

When they had departed from Rephidim, and had come to the wilderness of Sinai, they encamped in the wilderness; and there Israel encamped before the mountain.

19:3

ወሙሴ ፡ ዐርገ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ደብረ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወጸውዖ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለሙሴ ፡ እምዲበ ፡ ደብር ፡ ወይቤሉ ፡ በሎሙ ፡ ለቤተ ፡ ያዕቆብ ፡ ወዜንዎሙ ፡ ለውሉደ ፡ እስራኤል ።

摩西到上帝那裏，耶和華從山上呼喚他說：「你要這樣告訴雅各家，曉諭以色列人說：

Moses went up to God, and Yahweh called to him out of the mountain, saying, “This is what you shall tell the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel:

19:4

አንትሙ ፡ ርኢክሙ ፡ መጠነ ፡ ገበርክዎሙ ፡ ለግብጽ ፡ ወነሣእኩክሙ ፡ ከመዘ ፡ ክንፈ ፡ ጕዛ ፡ ወአቅረብኩክሙ ፡ ኀቤየ ።

『我向埃及人所行的事，你們都看見了，且看見我如鷹將你們背在翅膀上，帶來歸我。

‘You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles’ wings, and brought you to myself.

19:5

ወይእዜሂ ፡ ለእመ ፡ ሰማዕክሙኒ ፡ ቃልየ ፡ ወዐቀብክሙ ፡ ትእዛዝየ ፡ ትኩኑኒ ፡ ሕዝበ ፡ ዘጽድቅ ፡ እምውስተ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ሕዝብ ፡ እስመ ፡ ዚአየ ፡ ይእቲ ፡ ኵለንታሃ ፡ ምድር ።

如今你們若實在聽從我的話，遵守我的約，就要在萬民中作屬我的子民，因為全地都是我的。

Now therefore, if you will indeed obey my voice and keep my covenant, then you shall be my own possession from among all peoples; for all the earth is mine;

19:6

ወአንትሙ ፡ ትኩኑኒ ፡ እለ ፡ መንግሥት ፡ እለ ፡ ትሠውዑ ፡ ሊተ ፡ ሕዝብ ፡ ዘጽድቅ ፤ ዘቃለ ፡ አይድዖሙ ፡ ለውሉደ ፡ እስራኤል ።

你們要歸我作祭司的國度，為聖潔的國民。』這些話你要告訴以色列人。」

and you shall be to me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words which you shall speak to the children of Israel.”

19:7

ወመጽአ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ወጸውዐ ፡ ሊቃነ ፡ ሕዝብ ፡ ወአይድዖሙ ፡ ዘኵሎ ፡ ቃለ ፡ ዘአዘዞሙ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።

摩西去召了民間的長老來，將耶和華所吩咐他的話都在他們面前陳明。

Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and set before them all these words which Yahweh commanded him.

19:8

ወአውሥኡ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ሕዝብ ፡ በ፩ቃል ፡ ወይቤሉ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ዘአዘዘነ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ንገብር ፡ ወንሰምዕ ፡ ወአዕረገ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ቃለ ፡ ሕዝብ ፡ ኀበ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።

百姓都同聲回答說：「凡耶和華所說的，我們都要遵行。」摩西就將百姓的話回覆耶和華。

All the people answered together, and said, “All that Yahweh has spoken we will do.” Moses reported the words of the people to Yahweh.

19:9

ወይቤሎ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለሙሴ ፡ እመጽእ ፡ አነ ፡ ኀቤከ ፡ በዐምደ ፡ ደመና ፡ ከመ ፡ ይስማዕ ፡ ሕዝብ ፡ እንዘ ፡ እትናገር ፡ ምስሌከ ፡ ወይእመኑ ፡ በላዕሌከ ፡ ለዓለመ ፡ ዓለም ፡ ወአይድዐ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ቃለ ፡ ሕዝብ ፡ ኀበ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።

耶和華對摩西說：「我要在密雲中臨到你那裏，叫百姓在我與你說話的時候可以聽見，也可以永遠信你了。」於是，摩西將百姓的話奏告耶和華。

Yahweh said to Moses, “Behold, I come to you in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with you, and may also believe you forever.” Moses told the words of the people to Yahweh.
