7:1

ወሶበ፡ ሰፋሕክዎ፡ ለእስራኤል፡ ትትከሠት፡ ዐመፃሁ፡ ለኤፍሬም፡ ወእከየ፡ ሰማርያ፡ እስመ፡ ሐሰተ፡ ገብሩ። ወያበውእ፡ ሠርዌ፡ ኀቤሁ፡ ወይትፈየት፡ ወይሰልብ፡ በፍኖት፡ ከመ፡ ይኅበር፡ ማዕሌቶሙ።

我想醫治以色列的時候，以法蓮的罪孽和撒馬利亞的罪惡就顯露出來。他們行事虛謊，內有賊人入室偷竊，外有強盜成群騷擾。

When I would heal Israel, then the iniquity of Ephraim is uncovered, also the wickedness of Samaria; for they commit falsehood, and the thief enters in, and the gang of robbers ravages outside.

7:2

ወአእመርኩ፡ ዘኀልዩ፡ በልቦሙ፡ ወተዘከርኩ፡ ኵሎ፡ እከዮሙ፡ ይእዜኒ፡ የዐግቶሙ፡ ኲሉ፡ እከዮሙ፡ ወጌጋዮሙ፡ ወበቅድመ፡ ገጽየ፡ ኮኖሙ።

他們心裏並不思想我記念他們的一切惡；他們所行的現在纏繞他們，都在我面前。

They don’t consider in their hearts that I remember all their wickedness. Now their own deeds have engulfed them. They are before my face.

7:3

ወተፈሥሑ፡ ነገሥት፡ በእከዮሙ፡ ወመላእክትኒ፡ በሐሰቶሙ።

他們行惡使君王歡喜，說謊使首領喜樂。

They make the king glad with their wickedness, and the princes with their lies.

7:4

እስመ፡ ኲሎሙ፡ የሐውሩ፡ ኀበ፡ ብእሲተ፡ ብእሲ፡ ከመ፡ እቶን፡ ዘአንደዱ፡ ለኀቢዝ፡ ዘያንበለብል፡ ነዱ፡ እምሐሪፅ፡ ዘልውስ፡ እስከ፡ ይትበሐዕ፡ መዋዕለ፡ ነገሥቶሙ።

他們都是行淫的，像火爐被烤餅的燒熱，從摶麵到發麵的時候，暫不使火着旺。

They are all adulterers. They are burning like an oven that the baker stops stirring, from the kneading of the dough, until it is leavened.

7:5

ወአኀዙ፡ መላእክት፡ ይትመዐዑ፡ እምወይን፡ ወሰፍሑ፡ እደዊሆሙ፡ ምስለ፡ ሥሑጻን፡ ኵላ፡ ሌሊተ።

在我們王宴樂的日子，首領因酒的烈性成病；王與褻慢人拉手。

On the day of our king, the princes made themselves sick with the heat of wine. He joined his hand with mockers.

7:6

ኤፍሬም፡ ጸግበ፡ ወኖመ፡ ኵላ፡ ሌሊተ፡ ወሶበ፡ ይነቅሁ፡ በጽባሕ፡ ነዱ፡ ከመ፡ ነበልባለ፡ እሳት፡ ኵሎሙ።

首領埋伏的時候，心中熱如火爐，就如烤餅的整夜睡臥，到了早晨火氣炎炎。

For they have prepared their heart like an oven, while they lie in wait. Their anger smolders all night. In the morning it burns as a flaming fire.

7:7

ወወዕየ፡ ከመ፡ እቶን፡ ልቦሙ፡ ወበልዐቶሙ፡ እሳት፡ ለመኳንንቲሆሙ። ወወድቁ፡ ኵሎሙ፡ ነገሥቶሙ፡ ወአልቦ፡ እንከ፡ እምኔሆሙ፡ ዘይጼውዐኒ።

眾民也熱如火爐，燒滅他們的官長。他們的君王都仆倒而死；他們中間無一人求告我。

They are all hot as an oven, and devour their judges. All their kings have fallen. There is no one among them who calls to me.

7:8

ኤፍሬም፡ ተደመረ፡ ምስለ፡ ሕዝቡ፡ ኤፍሬም፡ ኅቡአቲከ፡ ገፍትዐተከ።

以法蓮與列邦人攙雜；以法蓮是沒有翻過的餅。

Ephraim mixes himself among the nations. Ephraim is a pancake not turned over.

7:9

ወበልዐ፡ ፀር፡ ኀይሎ፡ ወውእቱሰ፡ ኢያእመረ፡ ወበቈለ፡ ሲበቱሂ፡ ውስተ፡ ገጹ፡ ወዓዲ፡ ኢለበወ።

外邦人吞吃他勞力得來的，他卻不知道；頭髮斑白，他也不覺得。

Strangers have devoured his strength, and he doesn’t realize it. Indeed, gray hairs are here and there on him, and he doesn’t realize it.
