9:1
ኢትትፌሣሕ፡ ወኢትትሐሠይ፡ እስራኤል፡ ከመ፡ አሕዛብ፡ እስመ፡ ዘመውከ፡ እምአምላክከ፡ ወአፍቀርከ፡ ሀብተ፡ ዘእምኵሉ፡ ዐውደ፡ እክል፡ ወምክያደ፡ ወይን።
以色列啊，不要像外邦人歡喜快樂； 因為你行邪淫離棄你的上帝， 在各穀場上如妓女喜愛賞賜。
Don’t rejoice, Israel, to jubilation like the nations; for you were unfaithful to your God. You love the wages of a prostitute at every grain threshing floor.
9:2
ወበእንተ፡ ዝንቱ፡ እክልኒ፡ ኢያእመሮሙ፡ ወወይንኒ፡ ሐሰዎሙ፡ ኀበ፡ ነበሩ፡ ምድረ፡ እግዚአብሔር።
穀場和酒醡都不夠以色列人使用； 新酒也必缺乏。
The threshing floor and the wine press won’t feed them, and the new wine will fail her.
9:3
ወነበረ፡ ኤፍሬም፡ ግብጸ፡ እንዘ፡ ይበልዕ፡ ኵስሐ፡ በፋርስ።
他們必不得住耶和華的地； 以法蓮卻要歸回埃及， 必在亞述吃不潔淨的食物。
They won’t dwell in Yahweh’s land; but Ephraim will return to Egypt, and they will eat unclean food in Assyria.
9:4
ወኢያወፅሑ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ ወይነ፡ ወጼተሎ፡ ወኢያሠነዩ፡ ሎቱ፡ ኅብስቶሙ፡ ከመ፡ ኅብስተ፡ ልሔሞሙ፡ ወኲሉ፡ ዘበልዖ፡ ይረኵስ፡ ለነፍሶሙ፡ ወኢይበውእ፡ ቤተ፡ እግዚአብሔር።
他們必不得向耶和華奠酒， 即便奠酒也不蒙悅納。 他們的祭物必如居喪者的食物， 凡吃的必被玷污； 因他們的食物只為自己的口腹， 必不奉入耶和華的殿。
They won’t pour out wine offerings to Yahweh, neither will they be pleasing to him. Their sacrifices will be to them like the bread of mourners; all who eat of it will be polluted; for their bread will be for their appetite. It will not come into Yahweh’s house.
9:5
ምንተ፡ ይገብሩ፡ በዕለተ፡ ሕጎሙ፡ ወእመ፡ ዕለተ፡ በዓለ፡ እግዚአብሔር።
在大會的日子， 到耶和華的節期，你們怎樣行呢？
What will you do in the day of solemn assembly, and in the day of the feast of Yahweh?
9:6
በእንተ፡ ዝንቱ፡ ናሁ፡ የሐውሩ፡ ከመ፡ ኀሳሮሙ፡ ዘግብጽ፡ ወይትሜጠውዎሙ፡ ሜምፎስ፡ ወይቀብርዎሙ፡ በምክማስ፡ ወርቆሙኒ፡ በድበደ፡ ወይወርሶ፡ ሦክ፡ ውስተ፡ አብያቲሆሙ።
看哪，他們逃避災難； 埃及人必收殮他們的屍首， 摩弗人必葬埋他們的骸骨。 他們用銀子做的美物上必長蒺藜； 他們的帳棚中必生荊棘。
For, behold, when they flee destruction, Egypt will gather them up. Memphis will bury them. Nettles will possess their pleasant things of silver. Thorns will be in their tents.
9:7
በጽሐ፡ መዋዕለ፡ በቀል፡ ወፍዳ፡ ወይደዊ፡ እስራኤል፡ ምስለ፡ ነቢይ፡ ዘይለብስ፡ መንፈሰ፡ ጋኔን፡ በብዝኀ፡ ጌጋይከ፡ አብዛኅከ፡ ቊጣዐከ።
以色列人必知道降罰的日子臨近， 報應的時候來到。 民說：作先知的是愚昧； 受靈感的是狂妄， 皆因他們多多作孽，大懷怨恨。
The days of visitation have come. The days of reckoning have come. Israel will consider the prophet to be a fool, and the man who is inspired to be insane, because of the abundance of your sins, and because your hostility is great.
9:8
ኤፍሬም፡ ሰብአ፡ ዐይን፡ ምስለ፡ ነቢየ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወመሥገርት፡ እኪት፡ ምስለ፡ ኵሉ፡ ፍናዊሁ፡ ወርኵሶሙ፡ አንበሩ፡ ውስተ፡ ቤተ፡ እግዚአብሔር።
以法蓮曾作我上帝守望的； 至於先知，在他一切的道上作為捕鳥人的網羅， 在他上帝的家中懷怨恨。
A prophet watches over Ephraim with my God. A fowler’s snare is on all of his paths, and hostility in the house of his God.
9:10
ወኀስሩ፡ ከመ፡ አመ፡ መዋዕለ፡ በዐሊም፡ ወናሁ፡ ይዜክር፡ ሎሙ፡ ኃጢከያቶሙ፡ ወይትቤቀሎሙ፡ በጌጋዩሙ።
主說：我遇見以色列如葡萄在曠野； 我看見你們的列祖如無花果樹上春季初熟的果子。 他們卻來到巴力‧毗珥專拜那可羞恥的， 就成為可憎惡的， 與他們所愛的一樣。
I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness. I saw your fathers as the first ripe in the fig tree at its first season; but they came to Baal Peor, and consecrated themselves to the shameful thing, and became abominable like that which they loved.
9:11
ከመ፡ አስካል፡ በገዳም፡ ረከብክዎ፡ ለእስራኤል፡ ወከመ፡ በኲረ፡ በለስ፡ በገዳም፡ ክረምተ፡ ርኢክዎሙ፡ ለአበዊሆሙ።ወእሙንቱሰ፡ ቦኡ፡ ቤተ፡ ብዓል፡ ፌጎር፡ ወተናከሩ፡ ለኃሣሮሙ፡ ወኮኑ፡ ሰቀፐራረ፡ ፍቁራን።
至於以法蓮人，他們的榮耀必如鳥飛去， 必不生產，不懷胎，不成孕。
As for Ephraim, their glory will fly away like a bird. There will be no birth, no one with child, and no conception.
9:12
ኤፍሬም፡ ክም፡ ዖፍ፡ ሰረረ። ክብሮሙ፡ እምፀኒስ፡ ወእምወሊድ፡ ወማህምም።
縱然養大兒女， 我卻必使他們喪子，甚至不留一個。 我離棄他們，他們就有禍了。
Though they bring up their children, yet I will bereave them, so that not a man shall be left. Indeed, woe also to them when I depart from them!
9:13
ወእመኒ፡ አልሀቁ፡ ውሎዶሙ፡ ያጠፍኦሙ፡ እምሰብእ፡ ወዓዲ፡ አሌሎሙ፡ ስጋየ፡ ወእቱ፡ ዘእምውስቴቶሙ።
我看以法蓮如泰爾栽於美地。 以法蓮卻要將自己的兒女帶出來， 交與行殺戮的人。
I have seen Ephraim, like Tyre, planted in a pleasant place; but Ephraim will bring out his children to the murderer.
9:14
ኤፍሬም፡ በከመ፡ ርኢኩ፡ ውስተ፡ መስገርተ፡ መዕገት፡ አስተጋብኤ፡ ውሉዶሙ፡ ወኤፍሬምኒ፡ አውፅአደቂቆ፡ ይርገዞሙ።
耶和華啊，求你加給他們－ 加甚麼呢？ 要使他們胎墜乳乾。
Give them—Yahweh what will you give? Give them a miscarrying womb and dry breasts.
9:15
ሀቦሙ፡ እግዚኦ፡ ምንተ፡ ትሁቦሙ፡ ሀቦሙ፤ማህፀነ፡ መካነ፡ ወአጥባተ፡ ይቡሳተ።
耶和華說：他們一切的惡事都在吉甲； 我在那裏憎惡他們。 因他們所行的惡， 我必從我地上趕出他們去， 不再憐愛他們； 他們的首領都是悖逆的。
“All their wickedness is in Gilgal; for there I hated them. Because of the wickedness of their deeds, I will drive them out of my house! I will love them no more. All their princes are rebels.
9:16
ኲሉ፡ እከዩመ፡ በገልገላ፡ እስመ፡ በህየ፡ ጸላእክዎሙ፡ በእንተ፡ እከየ፡ ምጋባሮ። እሰድዶሙ፡ እምአብያቲሆሙ፡ ወኢይደግም፡ እንከ፡ አፍቅሮቱሙ፡ እስመ፡ ኲሎሙ፡ መላእክቲሆሙ፡ ዓላውያ።
以法蓮受責罰， 根本枯乾，必不能結果， 即或生產， 我必殺他們所生的愛子。
Ephraim is struck. Their root has dried up. They will bear no fruit. Even though they give birth, yet I will kill the beloved ones of their womb.”
9:17
ደወይ፡ ኤፍሬም፡ ወየብሰ፡ ስረዊሁ፡ ወኢይፈሪ፡ እከ፡ ወአመኒ፡ ወለዱ፡ እቀትል፡ ውሉደ፡ ደርሦሙ፡ መፍትወ።
我的上帝必棄絕他們， 因為他們不聽從他； 他們也必飄流在列國中。
My God will cast them away, because they didn’t listen to him; and they will be wanderers among the nations.
9:18
ገደፎሙ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ እስመ፡ አበቱ፡ ሰሚዖቶ፡ ወይከውኒ፡ መታሕላነ፡ ውስተ፡ አህዛብ።
我的上帝必棄絕他們， 因為他們不聽從他； 他們也必飄流在列國中。
My God will cast them away, because they didn’t listen to him; and they will be wanderers among the nations.
