For being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they didn’t subject themselves to the righteousness of God.
10:4
ወማኅለቅቱሰለጽድቀኦሪትአሚንበክርስቶስውእቱለኵሎሙእለየአምኑቦቱ።
律法的總結就是基督，使凡信他的都得着義。
For Christ is the fulfillment of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.
10:5
ወሙሴሂይቤኵሉዘፈጸመገቢረሕገገኦሪትይጸድቅቦቱ።
摩西寫着說：「人若行那出於律法的義，就必因此活着。」
For Moses writes about the righteousness of the law, “The one who does them will live by them.”
10:6
ወጽድቀአሚንሰከመዝይብልኢትበልበልብከመኑየዐርግሰማየክርስቶስውእቱዘወረደእምሰማይ።
惟有出於信心的義如此說：「你不要心裏說：誰要升到天上去呢？（就是要領下基督來；）
But the righteousness which is of faith says this, “Don’t say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ (that is, to bring Christ down);
10:7
ወመኑይወርድውስተቀላይክርስቶስውእቱዘተንሥአእሙታን።
誰要下到陰間去呢？（就是要領基督從死裏上來。）」
or, ‘Who will descend into the abyss?’ (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead.)”
10:8
አኮኑከማሁይቤመጽሐፍቅሩብለከቃልውስተአፉከወውስተልብከወዝውእቱቃልዘእሜህረክሙ።
他到底怎麼說呢？他說： 這道離你不遠， 正在你口裏，在你心裏－ （就是我們所傳信主的道。）
But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart;” that is, the word of faith which we preach:
that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
10:10
ወልብኒዘየአምንቦቱይጸድቅወአፍኒዘየአምንቦቱየሐዩ።
因為，人心裏相信就可以稱義，口裏承認就可以得救。
For with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation.
10:11
ወይቤመጽሐፍ «ኵሉዘየአምንቦቱየሐዩ።»
經上說：「凡信他的人必不至於羞愧。」
For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed.”
10:12
ኢፈለጠወኢሌለየአይሁዳዌወአረማዌእስመባዕልእግዚአብሔርወየአክልለኵሉዘጸውዖ።
猶太人和希臘人並沒有分別，因為眾人同有一位主；他也厚待一切求告他的人。
For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, and is rich to all who call on him.
10:13
«እስመኵሉዘጸውዐስመእግዚአብሔርየሐዩ።»
因為「凡求告主名的就必得救」。
For, “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
10:14
ወባሕቱእፎይጼውዕዎእንዘኢየአምኑቦቱወእፎየአምኑበዘኢሰምዑ።
然而，人未曾信他，怎能求他呢？未曾聽見他，怎能信他呢？沒有傳道的，怎能聽見呢？
How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? How will they hear without a preacher?
And how will they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the Good News of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!”
But I ask, didn’t Israel know? First Moses says, “I will provoke you to jealousy with that which is no nation. I will make you angry with a nation void of understanding.”
10:20
ኢሳይያስኒተሀቢሎይቤ «ረከቡኒእለኢኀሠሡኒወአስተርአይክዎሙለእለኢተስእሉኒ።»
又有以賽亞放膽說： 沒有尋找我的，我叫他們遇見； 沒有訪問我的，我向他們顯現。
Isaiah is very bold and says, “I was found by those who didn’t seek me. I was revealed to those who didn’t ask for me.”
10:21
ወለእስራኤልሰይቤሎሙ «ኵሎዕለተአነሥእእደውየኀበሕዝብዐላውያንወከሓድያን።»
至於以色列人，他說：「我整天伸手招呼那悖逆頂嘴的百姓。」
But about Israel he says, “All day long I stretched out my hands to a disobedient and contrary people.”
