6:1
ምንተ እንከ ንብል ንግበርኑ ኀጢአተ ከመ ይፈድፍድ ጸጋሁ ለእግዚአብሔር ሐሰ።
這樣，怎麼說呢？我們可以仍在罪中、叫恩典顯多嗎？
What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
6:2
አኮኑ ወዳእነ ሞትነ እምኀጢአትነ እፎ እንከ ንክል ሐዪወ ባቲ።
斷乎不可！我們在罪上死了的人豈可仍在罪中活着呢？
May it never be! We who died to sin, how could we live in it any longer?
6:3
ወዘንተ ባሕቱ አእምሩ ኵልክሙ ከመ እለ ተጠመቅነ በእግዚእነ ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ውስተ ሞቱ ተጠመቅነ።
豈不知我們這受洗歸入基督耶穌的人是受洗歸入他的死嗎？
Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
6:4
ወተቀበርነ ምስሌሁ ውስተ ጥምቀት በሞቱ ከመ በከመ ውእቱ ክርስቶስ ተንሥአ እምዉታን በስብሐተ አቡሁ ከማሁ ንሕነኒ ናንሶሱ ውስተ ሐዳስ ሕይወት።
所以，我們藉着洗禮歸入死，和他一同埋葬，原是叫我們一舉一動有新生的樣式，像基督藉着父的榮耀從死裏復活一樣。
We were buried therefore with him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.
6:5
ወእመሰኬ ተመሰልናሁ በሞቱ ንትሜሰሎ በሕይወቱሂ።
我們若在他死的形狀上與他聯合，也要在他復活的形狀上與他聯合；
For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we will also be part of his resurrection;
6:6
ወዘንተ ባሕቱ አእምሩ ከመ ብሉይ ብእሲነ ውእቱ ዘተሰቅለ ምስሌሁ ከመ ይስዐሮ ለነፍስተ ኀጢአት ወኢይገብእ ዳግመ ይትቀነይ ለኀጢአት።
因為知道我們的舊人和他同釘十字架，使罪身滅絕，叫我們不再作罪的奴僕；
knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be in bondage to sin.
6:7
እስመ ዘሞተሰ ድኅነ እምገቢረ ኀጢአት።
因為已死的人是脫離了罪。
For he who has died has been freed from sin.
6:8
ወእምከመሰ ሞትነ ምስሌሁ ለክርስቶስ ንትአመን ከመሂ ነሐዩ ምስሌሁ።
我們若是與基督同死，就信必與他同活。
But if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him,
6:9
ተአምሩ ከመ ተንሥአ ክርስቶስ እምዉታን ወኢይመውት እንከ ዳግመ ወኢይረክቦ እንከ ሞት።
因為知道基督既從死裏復活，就不再死，死也不再作他的主了。
knowing that Christ, being raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over him!
6:10
ወዘኒ ሞተ ምዕረ ሞተ ወበሞቱ ሰዐራ ለኀጢአት ወዘኒ ሐይወ ለእግዚአብሔር ሐይወ።
他死是向罪死了，只有一次；他活是向上帝活着。
For the death that he died, he died to sin one time; but the life that he lives, he lives to God.
6:11
ወከማሁ አንትሙኒ ረስዩ ርእሰክሙ ምዉታነ ለኀጢአት ወሕያዋነ ኩኑ ለፈቃደ እግዚአብሔር በእንተ እግዚእነ ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ።
這樣，你們向罪也當看自己是死的；向上帝在基督耶穌裏，卻當看自己是活的。
Thus consider yourselves also to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
6:12
ወኢታንግሥዋ ለኀጢአት ላዕለ ዝንቱ ሥጋክሙ ወነፍስትክሙ መዋቲ ወኢትበልዎ ኦሆ ለፍትወቱ።
所以，不要容罪在你們必死的身上作王，使你們順從身子的私慾。
Therefore don’t let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts.
6:13
ወኢትረስይዎ ለነፍስትክሙ ንዋየ ሐቅል ለዐመፃ ወለኀጢአት አላ ረስዩ ርእሰክሙ ለእግዚአብሔር ከመ ዘተንሥአ እምዉታን ወለነፍስትክሙ ለእግዚአብሔር ንዋየ ሐቅል ለጽድቅ።
也不要將你們的肢體獻給罪作不義的器具；倒要像從死裏復活的人，將自己獻給上帝，並將肢體作義的器具獻給上帝。
Also, do not present your members to sin as instruments of unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God as alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.
6:14
ወኀጢአትሰ ኢትኴንነክሙ እንከ እስመ ወፃእክሙ እምገቢረ ሕገገ ኦሪት ወገባእክሙ ውስተ ጸጋ እግዚአብሔር።
罪必不能作你們的主；因你們不在律法之下，乃在恩典之下。
For sin will not have dominion over you, for you are not under law, but under grace.
6:15
ምንተ እንከ ንብል ንግበርኑ ኀጢአተ እስመ ወፃእነ እምገቢረ ሕገገ ኦሪት ወገባእነ ውስተ ጸጋ እግዚአብሔር ሐሰ።
這卻怎麼樣呢？我們在恩典之下，不在律法之下，就可以犯罪嗎？斷乎不可！
What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? May it never be!
6:16
ወኢተአምሩኑ ከመ ለዘተአዘዝክሙ ወለዘሂ ኦሆ ትቤሉ አግብርቲሁ አንትሙ ወውስተ ዘኀበርክሙ ሎቱ አቅነይክሙ ርእሰክሙ እመሂ ለኀጢአት ኦሆ ትብልዋ ወኀበርክሙ ተአብሱ አግብርቲሁ አንትሙ ትከውኑ ለሞት ወእመሂ ለጽድቅ ኦሆ ትብልዋ ወኀበርክሙ ውስተ ሠናይ አግብርተ እግዚአብሔር አንትሙ።
豈不曉得你們獻上自己作奴僕，順從誰，就作誰的奴僕嗎？或作罪的奴僕，以至於死；或作順命的奴僕，以致成義。
Don’t you know that when you present yourselves as servants and obey someone, you are the servants of whomever you obey, whether of sin to death, or of obedience to righteousness?
6:17
እኩት እግዚአብሔር እንዘ አግብርተ ኀጢአት አንትሙ ተአዘዝክሙ በኵሉ ልብክሙ ለዘተውህበ ለክሙ አርኣያሁ ለዘትትሜሀሩ።
感謝上帝！因為你們從前雖然作罪的奴僕，現今卻從心裏順服了所傳給你們道理的模範。
But thanks be to God that, whereas you were bondservants of sin, you became obedient from the heart to that form of teaching to which you were delivered.
6:18
ወይእዜሰ ተግዕዝክሙ እምኀጢአት ወተቀነይክሙ ለጽድቅ።
你們既從罪裏得了釋放，就作了義的奴僕。
Being made free from sin, you became bondservants of righteousness.
6:19
ሕገ ሰብእ እብለክሙ እስመ ድኩም ቱስሕተ ነፍስትክሙ ዑቁ በከመ ቀዲሙ አቅነይክሙ ርእሰክሙ ለኀጢአት ወለርኵስ ወለጣዖት ከማሁ ይእዜኒ አቅንዩ ነፍስተክሙ ለጽድቅ ወለቅድሳት።
我因你們肉體的軟弱，就照人的常話對你們說。你們從前怎樣將肢體獻給不潔不法作奴僕，以至於不法；現今也要照樣將肢體獻給義作奴僕，以至於成聖。
I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh; for as you presented your members as servants to uncleanness and to wickedness upon wickedness, even so now present your members as servants to righteousness for sanctification.
6:20
እስመ አመ ተቀነይክሙ ለኀጢአት ግዑዛነ ኮንክሙ እምጽድቅ።
因為你們作罪之奴僕的時候，就不被義約束了。
For when you were servants of sin, you were free from righteousness.
6:21
ወበውእቱ ፍሬክሙ ዘአሜሁ ናሁ ይእዜ ትትኀፈሩ ቦቱ እስመ ድኅሬሁ ሎቱ ሞት።
你們現今所看為羞恥的事，當日有甚麼果子呢？那些事的結局就是死。
What fruit then did you have at that time in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death.
6:22
ወይእዜሰ ተግዕዝክሙ እምኀጢአት ወአቅነይክሙ ርእሰክሙ ለጽድቅ ወፈረይክሙ ለቅድሳት ወማኅለቅቱሰ ሕይወት ዘለዓለም።
但現今，你們既從罪裏得了釋放，作了上帝的奴僕，就有成聖的果子，那結局就是永生。
But now, being made free from sin and having become servants of God, you have your fruit of sanctification and the result of eternal life.
6:23
እስመ ተግባራሰ ለኀጢአት ወረባሐ ዚኣሃ ሞት ወለጸጋ እግዚአብሔርሰ ሕይወት ዘለዓለም በእግዚእነ ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ።
因為罪的工價乃是死；惟有上帝的恩賜，在我們的主基督耶穌裏，乃是永生。
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
