19:1
ἔτι δὲ Κλαυδίου τὰ τῆς βασιλείας διέποντος, κατὰ τὴν τοῦ πάσχα ἑορτὴν τοσαύτην ἐπὶ τῶν Ἱεροσολύμων στάσιν καὶ ταραχὴν ἐγγενέσθαι συνέβη ὡς μόνων τῶν περὶ τὰς ἐξόδους τοῦ ἱεροῦ βίᾳ συνωθουμένων τρεῖς μυριάδας Ἰουδαίων ἀποθανεῖν πρὸς ἀλλήλων καταπατηθέντων, γενέσθαι τε τὴν ἑορτὴν πένθος μὲν ὅλῳ τῷ ἔθνει, θρῆνον δὲ καθ ἑκάστην οἰκίαν. καὶ ταῦτα μὲν κατὰ λέξιν ὁ Ἰώσηπος.
革老丟仍治理帝國政務之時，到了逾越節的節期，耶路撒冷竟發生了極大的暴亂與騷動，以致僅僅那些在聖殿出口處被人猛力擠迫的人中，就有三萬猶太人彼此踐踏而死；那節期便成了全民族的哀悼，家家戶戶的悲歎。這些事，約瑟夫逐字記了下來。
And while Claudius was still administering the affairs of the empire, it came to pass at the feast of the Passover that there arose at Jerusalem so great a sedition and tumult that, of those alone who were violently crowded together about the exits of the temple, thirty thousand Jews perished, trampled by one another; and the feast became a mourning to the whole nation, and a lamentation in every house. These things, word for word, says Josephus.
19:2
Κλαύδιος δὲ Ἀγρίππαν, Ἀγρίππου παῖδα, Ἰουδαίων καθίστησι βασιλέα, Φήλικα τῆς χώρας ἁπάσης Σαμ·αρείας τε καὶ Γαλιλαίας καὶ προσέτι τῆς ἐπικαλουμένης Περαίας ἐπίτροπον ἐκπέμψας. διοικήσας δὲ αὐτὸς τὴν ἡγεμονίαν ἔτεσιτρισὶ καὶ δέκα πρὸς μησὶν ὀκτὼ Νέρωνα τῆς ἀρχῆς διάδοχον καταλιπὼν τελευτᾶ.
革老丟立亞基帕——亞基帕的兒子——作猶太人的王，又差派腓力斯作撒瑪利亞、加利利全地，並另外那稱為比利亞之地的巡撫。他自己掌權十三年零八個月，便去世了，留下尼祿接續他的政權。
And Claudius appointed Agrippa, the son of Agrippa, king of the Jews, having sent out Felix as procurator of the whole country of Samaria and Galilee, and besides of what is called Peraea. And having himself administered the rule for thirteen years and eight months, he died, leaving Nero as successor to the sovereignty.
