尼希米記 第 12 章

And these are the priests and the Levites who went up with Zorobabel son of Salathiel and with Iesous: Saraia, Iermia, Esdra,

Amaria, Malouch,

Sechenia,

These were the chiefs of the priests and their brothers in the days of Iesous.

And the Levites: Iesou, Banoui, Kadmiel, Sarabia, Iouda, Machania — he and his brothers were over the hands,

for the daily courses.

And Iesous begot Ioakim, and Ioakim begot Eliasib, and Eliasib begot Iodae.

And Iodae begot Ionathan, and Ionathan begot Iadou.

And in the days of Ioakim his brothers were the priests and the chiefs of the ancestral houses: of Saraia, Maraia; of Iermia, Anania;

of Esdra, Mesoulam; of Amaria, Ioanan;

of Malouch, Ionathan; of Sechenia, Ioseph;

of Arem, Adnas; of Marioth, Elkai;

of Addai, Zacharias; of Ganathon, Mosollam;

of Abia, Zechri; of Beniamin, in seasons; of Pheleti;

of Balga, Samoue; of Semeia, Ionathan;

of Ioiarib, Maththanai; of Idia, Ozi;

of Sallai, Kallai; of Amouk, Abed;

of Elkia, Asabias; of Iedeiou, Nathanael.

The Levites in the days of Eliasib, Ioada, and Ioanan, and Idoua were recorded as chiefs of ancestral houses; and the priests, in the reign of Dareios the Persian.

The sons of Leui, chiefs of the ancestral houses, were recorded in the book of the words of the days, even to the days of Ioanan son of Elisoub.

And the chiefs of the Levites: Asabia and Sarabia and Iesou, and the sons of Kadmiel and their brothers opposite them, to sing hymns and to praise, according to the commandment of Dauid the man of God, course opposite course.

when I gathered the gatekeepers,

in the days of Ioakim son of Iesous son of Iosedek, and in the days of Neemia, and of Esdras the priest, the scribe.

And at the dedication of the wall of Ierousalem they sought out the Levites in their places, to bring them to Ierousalem to make a dedication and rejoicing with thodatha and with songs, clashing cymbals, and with harps and lyres.

And the sons of the singers were gathered together, both from the surrounding region round about Ierousalem and from the villages,

and from the fields; for the singers had built themselves villages in Ierousalem.

And the priests and the Levites purified themselves, and they purified the people and the gatekeepers and the wall.

And I brought up the rulers of Iouda upon the wall, and I appointed two great companies for praise; and they went to the right upon the wall of the dung.

And after them went Osaia and half of the rulers of Iouda,

and Azarias, Esdras, and Mesoulam,

Iouda and Beniamin and Samaia and Iermia;

and some of the sons of the priests with trumpets: Zacharias son of Ionathan, son of Samaia, son of Mathania, son of Michaia, son of Zakchour, son of Asaph;

and his brothers, Samaia and Oziel, to praise with the songs of Dauid the man of God; and Esdras the scribe was before them.

At the gate of Ain, opposite them, they went up by the stairs of the city of Dauid, at the ascent of the wall, above the house of Dauid, and as far as the water gate toward the east.

And the second company for praise went to meet them, and I after it, and half of the people upon the wall, above the tower of the thennourim, and as far as the broad wall,

and above the gate of Ephraim, and to the gate of Isana, and to the fish gate, and the tower of Ananeel, and as far as the sheep gate; and they stood at the gate of the guard.

And the two companies of praise stood in the house of God, and I and half of the commanders with me,

and the priests Eliakim, Maasias, Beniamin, Michaias, Elioenai, Zacharias, Ananias with trumpets,

and Maasias and Semeias and Eleazar and Ozi and Ioanan and Melchias and Ailam and Ezour. And the singers were heard, and they were mustered.

And on that day they sacrificed great sacrifices and rejoiced, for God had made them greatly rejoice; and their wives and their children rejoiced; and the joy in Ierousalem was heard from afar.

And on that day they appointed men over the treasuries, for the stores, the firstfruits and the tithes, and for what was gathered in them by the rulers of the cities — portions for the priests and for the Levites; for there was joy in Iouda over the priests and over the Levites who stood.

And they kept the charges of their God and the charges of the purification; and the singers and the gatekeepers, according to the commandments of Dauid and Salomon his son.

For in the days of Dauid, Asaph from the beginning was chief of the singers, and there was a hymn and praise to God.

And all Israel in the days of Zorobabel gave the portions of the singers and of the gatekeepers, the matter of a day in its day; and they consecrated to the Levites, and the Levites consecrated to the sons of Aaron.
