28:1
ወጸውዖ ፡ ይስሐቅ ፡ ለያዕቆብ ፡ ወልዱ ፡ ወባረኮ ፡ ወይቤሎ ፡ ኢትንሣእ ፡ ብእሲተ ፡ እምአዋልደ ፡ ከናአን ።
Isaac called Jacob, blessed him, and commanded him, “You shall not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan.
以撒叫了雅各來，給他祝福，並囑咐他說：「你不要娶迦南的女子為妻。
28:2
ተንሥእ ፡ ወሑር ፡ ማእከለ ፡ አፍላግ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ቤተ ፡ ባቱኤል ፡ ኀበ ፡ [አቡ ]ሃ ፡ ለእምከ ፡ ወንሣእ ፡ ለከ ፡ ብእሲተ ፡ እምአዋልዲሁ ፡ ለላባ ፡ እኁሃ ፡ ለእምከ ።
Arise, go to Paddan Aram, to the house of Bethuel your mother’s father. Take a wife from there from the daughters of Laban, your mother’s brother.
你起身往巴旦‧亞蘭去，到你外祖彼土利家裏，在你母舅拉班的女兒中娶一女為妻。
28:3
ወአምላኪየ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ የሐውር ፡ ምስሌከ ፡ ወያዐቢየከ ፡ ወይባርክ ፡ ወያበዝኅከ ፡ ወትከውን ፡ ብዙኀ ፡ አሕዛበ ።
May God Almighty bless you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, that you may be a company of peoples,
願全能的上帝賜福給你，使你生養眾多，成為多族，
28:4
ወይሁበከ ፡ በረከተ ፡ አብርሃም ፡ አቡከ ፡ ለከ ፡ ወለዘርእከ ፡ እምድኅሬከ ፡ ከመ ፡ ትረሳ ፡ ለይእቲ ፡ ምድር ፡ እንተ ፡ ወሀቦ ፡ ለአብርሃም ።
and give you the blessing of Abraham, to you and to your offspring with you, that you may inherit the land where you travel, which God gave to Abraham.”
將應許亞伯拉罕的福賜給你和你的後裔，使你承受你所寄居的地為業，就是上帝賜給亞伯拉罕的地。」
28:5
ወፈነዎ ፡ ይስሐቅ ፡ ለያዕቆብ ፡ ወልዱ ፡ ማእከለ ፡ አፍላግ ፡ ዘሶርያ ፡ ኀበ ፡ ላባ ፡ ወልደ ፡ ባቱኤል ፡ ሶርያዊ ፡ እኁሃ ፡ ለርብቃ ።
Isaac sent Jacob away. He went to Paddan Aram to Laban, son of Bethuel the Syrian, the brother of Rebekah, Jacob’s and Esau’s mother.
以撒打發雅各走了，他就往巴旦‧亞蘭去，到亞蘭人彼土利的兒子拉班那裏。拉班是雅各、以掃的母舅。
28:6
ወሶበ ፡ ርእየ ፡ ዔሳው ፡ ከመ ፡ ባረኮ ፡ አቡሁ ፡ ለያዕቆብ ፡ ወሖረ ፡ ማእከለ ፡ አፍላግ ፡ ዘሶርያ ፡ ከመ ፡ ይንሣእ ፡ ብእሲተ ፡ እምህየ ፡ ዘባረከ ፡ ወአዘዞ ፡ ከመ ፡ ኢይንሣእ ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ብእሲተ ፡ እምህየ ፡ እምአዋልደ ፡ ከናአን ፤
Now Esau saw that Isaac had blessed Jacob and sent him away to Paddan Aram, to take him a wife from there, and that as he blessed him he gave him a command, saying, “You shall not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan;”
以掃見以撒已經給雅各祝福，而且打發他往巴旦‧亞蘭去，在那裏娶妻，並見祝福的時候囑咐他說：「不要娶迦南的女子為妻」，
28:7
ወሰምዖሙ ፡ ያዕቆብ ፡ ለአቡሁ ፡ ወለእሙ ፡ ወሖረ ፡ ማእከለ ፡ አፍላግ ፤
and that Jacob obeyed his father and his mother, and was gone to Paddan Aram.
又見雅各聽從父母的話往巴旦‧亞蘭去了，
28:8
ወሶበ ፡ ርእየ ፡ ዔሳው ፡ ከመ ፡ እኩያት ፡ እማንቱ ፡ አዋልደ ፡ ከናአን ፡ በኀበ ፡ አቡሁ ፡ ይስሐቅ ፤
Esau saw that the daughters of Canaan didn’t please Isaac, his father.
以掃就曉得他父親以撒看不中迦南的女子，
28:9
ሖረ ፡ ኀበ ፡ ይስማኤል ፡ ወነሥኣ ፡ ለኤማሌት ፡ ወለተ ፡ ይስማኤል ፡ ወልደ ፡ አብርሃም ፡ እኁሁ ፡ ለናኮር ፡ ከመ ፡ ትኩኖ ፡ ብእሲቶ ፡ ምስለ ፡ አንስቲያሁ ።
So Esau went to Ishmael, and took, in addition to the wives that he had, Mahalath the daughter of Ishmael, Abraham’s son, the sister of Nebaioth, to be his wife.
便往以實瑪利那裏去，在他二妻之外又娶了瑪哈拉為妻。她是亞伯拉罕兒子以實瑪利的女兒，尼拜約的妹子。
28:10
ወወፅአ ፡ ያዕቆብ ፡ ኀበ ፡ ዐዘቅተ ፡ መሐላ ፡ ወሖረ ፡ ካራን ።
Jacob went out from Beersheba, and went toward Haran.
雅各出了別是巴，向哈蘭走去；
28:11
[ወረከበ ፡ መካነ ፡] ወቤተ ፡ ህየ ፡ እስመ ፡ ዐረበት ፡ ፀሓይ ፡ ወነሥአ ፡ እምውእቱ ፡ እብን ፡ ዘውእቱ ፡ ብሔር ፡ ወወደየ ፡ ትርኣሲሁ ፡ ወቤተ ፡ ህየ ።
He came to a certain place, and stayed there all night, because the sun had set. He took one of the stones of the place, and put it under his head, and lay down in that place to sleep.
到了一個地方，因為太陽落了，就在那裏住宿，便拾起那地方的一塊石頭枕在頭下，在那裏躺臥睡了，
28:12
ወሐለመ ፡ ወይሬኢ ፡ ሰዋስወ ፡ (ዘወርቅ ፡) ውስተ ፡ ምድር ፡ ወርእሱ ፡ ያሰምክ ፡ ሰማየ ፡ ወመላእክተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ የዐርጉ ፡ ወይወርዱ ፡ ቦቱ ።
He dreamed and saw a stairway set upon the earth, and its top reached to heaven. Behold, the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.
夢見一個梯子立在地上，梯子的頭頂着天，有上帝的使者在梯子上，上去下來。
28:13
ወእግዚእ ፡ ያሰምክ ፡ በላዕሌሁ ፡ ወይቤሎ ፡ አነ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላከ ፡ አብርሃም ፡ ወአምላከ ፡ ይስሐቅ ፡ አቡከ ፡ ኢትፍራህ ፡ ዛቲኒ ፡ ምድር ፡ እንተ ፡ ውስቴታ ፡ ትሰክብ ፡ ለከ ፡ እሁበከ ፡ ወለዘርእከ ።
Behold, Yahweh stood above it, and said, “I am Yahweh, the God of Abraham your father, and the God of Isaac. I will give the land you lie on to you and to your offspring.
耶和華站在梯子以上 ，說：「我是耶和華－你祖亞伯拉罕的上帝，也是以撒的上帝；我要將你現在所躺臥之地賜給你和你的後裔。
28:14
ወይከውን ፡ ዘርእከ ፡ ከመ ፡ ኆጻ ፡ ምድር ፡ ወይበዝኅ ፡ ዘርእከ ፡ ወይመልእ ፡ እስከ ፡ ባሕር ፡ ወውስተ ፡ አዜብ ፡ ወመስዕ ፡ ወውስተ ፡ ጽባሕ ፡ ወይትባረክ ፡ በእንቲአከ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ አሕዛበ ፡ ምድር ፡ ወበዘርእከ ።
Your offspring will be as the dust of the earth, and you will spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south. In you and in your offspring, all the families of the earth will be blessed.
你的後裔必像地上的塵沙那樣多，必向東西南北開展；地上萬族必因你和你的後裔得福。
28:15
ወአነ ፡ አሐውር ፡ ምስሌከ ፡ ወአዐቅበከ ፡ በኵሉ ፡ ፍኖትከ ፡ እንተ ፡ ተሐውር ፡ ወኣገብአከ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ዝክቱ ፡ ምድር ፡ ወኢየኀድገከ ፡ እስከ ፡ እገብር ፡ ለከ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ዘእቤለከ ።
Behold, I am with you, and will keep you, wherever you go, and will bring you again into this land. For I will not leave you until I have done that which I have spoken of to you.”
我也與你同在。你無論往哪裏去，我必保佑你，領你歸回這地，總不離棄你，直到我成全了向你所應許的。」
28:16
ወነቅሀ ፡ ያዕቆብ ፡ እምንዋሙ ፡ ወይቤ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ሀሎ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ዛቲ ፡ ምድር ፡ ወአንሰ ፡ ኢያእመርኩ ።
Jacob awakened out of his sleep, and he said, “Surely Yahweh is in this place, and I didn’t know it.”
雅各睡醒了，說：「耶和華真在這裏，我竟不知道！」
28:17
ወፈርሀ ፡ ወይቤ ፡ ግሩም ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ ምድር ፡ ወይከውን ፡ ዝየ ፡ ቤተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወዛቲ ፡ ኆኅታ ፡ ይእቲ ፡ ለሰማይ ።
He was afraid, and said, “How awesome this place is! This is none other than God’s house, and this is the gate of heaven.”
就懼怕，說：「這地方何等可畏！這不是別的，乃是上帝的殿，也是天的門。」
28:18
ወተንሥአ ፡ ያዕቆብ ፡ በጽባሕ ፡ ወነሥኣ ፡ ለይእቲ ፡ እብን ፡ እንተ ፡ ወደያ ፡ ትርኣሲሁ ፡ ወአቀማ ፡ ከመ ፡ ሐውልት ፡ ወሶጠ ፡ ቅብአ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ርእሳ ።
Jacob rose up early in the morning, and took the stone that he had put under his head, and set it up for a pillar, and poured oil on its top.
雅各清早起來，把所枕的石頭立作柱子，澆油在上面。
28:19
ወሰመየ ፡ ስሞ ፡ ለውእቱ ፡ መካን ፡ ቤተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወስሙሰ ፡ ለውእቱ ፡ ብሔር ፡ ትካቲሁ ፡ ውለምሕሳ ።
He called the name of that place Bethel, but the name of the city was Luz at the first.
他就給那地方起名叫伯特利 ；但那地方起先名叫路斯。
28:20
ወበፅአ ፡ ያዕቆብ ፡ ወይቤ ፡ ለእመ ፡ ሀሎ ፡ እግዚእ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ምስሌየ ፡ ወዐቀበኒ ፡ በዛቲ ፡ ፍኖት ፡ እንተ ፡ አሐውር ፡ ወወሀበኒ ፡ እክለ ፡ ዘእሴሰይ ፡ ወልብሰ ፡ ዘእለብስ ፤
Jacob vowed a vow, saying, “If God will be with me, and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat, and clothing to put on,
雅各許願說：「上帝若與我同在，在我所行的路上保佑我，又給我食物吃，衣服穿，
28:21
ወአግብአኒ ፡ በዳኅን ፡ ቤተ ፡ አቡየ ፡ ወይከውነኒ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላኪየ ።
so that I come again to my father’s house in peace, and Yahweh will be my God,
使我平平安安地回到我父親的家，我就必以耶和華為我的上帝。
28:22
ወዛቲ ፡ እብን ፡ እንተ ፡ አቀምኩ ፡ ትከውነኒ ፡ ቤተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወኵሎ ፡ ዘወሀበኒ ፡ ዓሥራተ ፡ እዴሁ ፡ እዔሥሮ ፡ ለከ ።
then this stone, which I have set up for a pillar, will be God’s house. Of all that you will give me I will surely give a tenth to you.”
我所立為柱子的石頭也必作上帝的殿；凡你所賜給我的，我必將十分之一獻給你。」
