10:1
ወከመዝ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ልደቶሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ ኖኅ ፡ ሴም ፡ ወካም ፡ ወያፌት ፡ ወተወልደ ፡ ሎሙ ፡ ደቂቅ ፡ እምድኅረ ፡ አይኅ ።
Now this is the history of the generations of the sons of Noah and of Shem, Ham, and Japheth. Sons were born to them after the flood.
挪亞的兒子閃、含、雅弗的後代記在下面。洪水以後，他們都生了兒子。
10:2
ወደቂቀ ፡ ያፌት ፡ ጋሜር ፡ ወያጎግ ፡ ወማዴ ፡ ወይህያን ፡ ወኤልሳ ፡ ወቶቤል ፡ ወሞሳኅ ፡ ወቲራ ።
The sons of Japheth were: Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, and Tiras.
雅弗的兒子是歌篾、瑪各、瑪代、雅完、土巴、米設、提拉。
10:3
ወደቂቀ ፡ ጋሜር ፡ አስ[ካ]ንሶ ፡ ወኢራፌት ፡ ወቲራጋም ።
The sons of Gomer were: Ashkenaz, Riphath, and Togarmah.
歌篾的兒子是亞實基拿、利法、陀迦瑪。
10:4
ወደቂቀ ፡ ይህያን ፡ ኤልሳ ፡ ወትራሳሶ ፡ ወቂጥኢ ፡ ወሮድኢ ።
The sons of Javan were: Elishah, Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.
雅完的兒子是以利沙、他施、基提、多單。
10:5
ወእምነ ፡ እሉ ፡ ተፈልጠ ፡ ደሰያቲሆሙ ፡ ለሕዝብ ፡ በበምድሮሙ ፡ ለለአሐዱ ፡ ወበበነገሮሙ ፡ ወበበነገዶሙ ፡ ወአሕዛቢሆሙ ።
Of these were the islands of the nations divided in their lands, everyone after his language, after their families, in their nations.
這些人的後裔將各國的地土、海島分開居住，各隨各的方言、宗族立國。
10:6
ወደቂቀ ፡ ካም ፡ ኩሳ ፡ ወም[ሴጣሬ]ም ፡ ወፉጥ ፡ ወከናአን ።
The sons of Ham were: Cush, Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.
含的兒子是古實、麥西、弗、迦南。
10:7
ወደቂቀ ፡ ኩሳ ፡ ሶባ ፡ ወኤዌልጥ ፡ [ወሳቤታ ፡] ወሬጌም ፡ ወሰበቃታ ፡ ወደቂቀ ፡ ሬጌም ፡ ሳባ ፡ ወዮዳዳን ።
The sons of Cush were: Seba, Havilah, Sabtah, Raamah, and Sabteca. The sons of Raamah were: Sheba and Dedan.
古實的兒子是西巴、哈腓拉、撒弗他、拉瑪、撒弗提迦。拉瑪的兒子是示巴、底但。
10:8
ወኩሳ ፡ ወለዶ ፡ ለኑቤርድ ፡ ወውእቱ ፡ ዘኮነ ፡ ያርብሐ ፡ በምድር ።
Cush became the father of Nimrod. He began to be a mighty one on the earth.
古實又生寧錄，他為世上英雄之首。
10:9
ወኮነ ፡ ነዓዌ ፡ ቅድመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወበእንተ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ ይቤሉ ፡ ከመ ፡ [ኑቤርድ ፡] ያርብሕ ፡ ዘኮነ ፡ ነዓዌ ፡ ቅድመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
He was a mighty hunter before Yahweh. Therefore it is said, “like Nimrod, a mighty hunter before Yahweh”.
他在耶和華面前是個英勇的獵戶，所以俗語說：「像寧錄在耶和華面前是個英勇的獵戶。」
10:10
ወኮነ ፡ ቅድመ ፡ መንግሥቱ ፡ ባቢሎን ፡ ወ[ኦሬክ] ፡ ወአርከድ ፡ ወካሌን ፡ በምድረ ፡ ሰናአር ።
The beginning of his kingdom was Babel, Erech, Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.
他國的起頭是巴別、以力、亞甲、甲尼，都在示拿地。
10:11
ወእምይእቲ ፡ ምድር ፡ ወጽአ ፡ አሶር ፡ ወነደቃ ፡ ለነነዌ ፡ ወለሮቤት ፡ ሀገር ፡ ዐባይ ።
Out of that land he went into Assyria, and built Nineveh, Rehoboth Ir, Calah,
他從那地出來往亞述去，建造尼尼微、利河伯、迦拉，
10:12
ወምሴጣሬም ፡ ወለዶሙ ፡ ለ[ሉ]ድኬም ፡ ወለ[ኤኔ]ማጠአም ፡ ወለ[ለቢአም] ፡ ወለንፍታሌም ፤
and Resen between Nineveh and the great city Calah.
和尼尼微、迦拉中間的利鮮，這就是那大城。
10:13
ወለጴ[ጥሮ]ሶናኦን ፡ ወለከሳሮ[ኦ]ን ፡ እምኀበ ፡ ወጽአ ፡ ፌሌሴጤአም ፡ ወለቃፍ[ቶርአ]ም ።
Mizraim became the father of Ludim, Anamim, Lehabim, Naphtuhim,
麥西生路低人、亞拿米人、利哈比人、拿弗土希人、
10:14
ወከናአን ፡ ወለዶ ፡ ለሲዶን ፡ [በኵሩ ፡] ወለኪጢኤን ።
Pathrusim, Casluhim (which the Philistines descended from), and Caphtorim.
帕斯魯細人、迦斯路希人、迦斐託人；從迦斐託出來的有非利士人。
10:15
[ወለኢያቡሴዎን ፡ ወለአሞሬዎን ፡ ወለጌርጌሴዎን ።
Canaan became the father of Sidon (his firstborn), Heth,
迦南生長子西頓，又生赫
10:16
ወለኤዌዎን ፡] ወለዔሬቄዎን ፡ ወለአሰ[ኔዎ]ን ።
the Jebusites, the Amorites, the Girgashites,
和耶布斯人、亞摩利人、革迦撒人、
10:17
ወለከራዱአን ፡ ወለሰማንኢር ፡ ወለአመቲ ፡ ወእምድኅረ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ ተዘርው ፡ ከናአን ።
the Hivites, the Arkites, the Sinites,
希未人、亞基人、西尼人、
10:18
ወኮነ ፡ አድባሪሆሙ ፡ ለከናአን ፡ እምነ ፡ [ሲዶን ፡ እስከ ፡] ጌራራ ፡ ወጋዛን ፡ ወይበጽሕ ፡ ሶዶም ፡ ወጎሞራ ፡ ወ[አ]ዶማ ፡ ወሰቤዮ ፡ እስከ ፡ ሴላ ።
the Arvadites, the Zemarites, and the Hamathites. Afterward the families of the Canaanites were spread abroad.
亞瓦底人、洗瑪利人、哈馬人，後來迦南的諸族分散了。
10:19
ወእሉ ፡ እሙንቱ ፡ ደቂቁ ፡ ለካም ፡ በበዘመዶሙ ፡ ወበበነገሮሙ ፡ ወበበብሔሮሙ ፡ ወአሕዛቤሆሙ ።
The border of the Canaanites was from Sidon—as you go toward Gerar—to Gaza—as you go toward Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboiim—to Lasha.
迦南的境界是從西頓向基拉耳的路上，直到迦薩，又向所多瑪、蛾摩拉、押瑪、洗扁的路上，直到拉沙。
10:20
ወለሴምኒ ፡ ተወልዱ ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ደቂቅ ፡ አቡሆሙ ፡ ለኵሉ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ ኤቤር ፡ እኁሁ ፡ ለያፌት ፡ ለዘየዐቢ ።
These are the sons of Ham, after their families, according to their languages, in their lands and their nations.
這就是含的後裔，各隨他們的宗族、方言，所住的地土、邦國。
10:21
ወልደ ፡ ሴም ፡ ኤላም ፡ ወአሶር ፡ ወአርፋክ[ሳ]ድ ፡ [ወሉድ ፡ ወአራም ።
Children were also born to Shem (the elder brother of Japheth), the father of all the children of Eber.
雅弗的哥哥閃，是希伯子孫之祖，他也生了兒子。
10:22
ወደቂቀ ፡ አራም ፡ ኤሳሕ ፡] ወዮምኤል ፡ ወያቲር ፡ ወሞሶሕ ።
The sons of Shem were: Elam, Asshur, Arpachshad, Lud, and Aram.
閃的兒子是以攔、亞述、亞法撒、路德、亞蘭。
10:23
ወአርፋክ[ሳ]ድ ፡ ወለዶ ፡ ለሳላ ፡ ወሳላ ፡ ወለዶ ፡ ለኤቤ[ር] ።
The sons of Aram were: Uz, Hul, Gether, and Mash.
亞蘭的兒子是烏斯、戶勒、基帖、瑪施。
10:24
ወለኤቤ[ር] ፡ ተወልዱ ፡ ክልኤ ፡ ደቂቅ ፡ ስሙ ፡ ለአሐዱ ፡ ፋሌግ ፡ እስመ ፡ በመዋዕሊሁ ፡ ተከፍለት ፡ ምድር ፡ ወስመ ፡ እኁሁ ፡ ዮቃጤን ።
Arpachshad became the father of Shelah. Shelah became the father of Eber.
亞法撒生沙拉；沙拉生希伯。
10:25
ወዮቃጤን ፡ ወለዶ ፡ ለእልሞዳድ ፡ ወለሴሌፋ ፡ ወለሴራሞት ፡ ወለ[ኤ]ራኅ ፤
To Eber were born two sons. The name of the one was Peleg, for in his days the earth was divided. His brother’s name was Joktan.
希伯生了兩個兒子，一個名叫法勒 ，因為那時人就分地居住；法勒的兄弟名叫約坍。
10:26
ወለሖዶራ ፡ ወለኤዜላ ፡ ወለዴቄላ ፤
Joktan became the father of Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah,
約坍生亞摩答、沙列、哈薩瑪非、耶拉、
10:27
[ወለኡባላ ፡] ወለአ[ቢማኤል] ፡ ወለ[ሳባ] ፤ ወለሑፋር ፡
Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah,
哈多蘭、烏薩、德拉、
10:28
[ወለሄዊላ ፡] ወለኢዮቦር ፡ ወኵሎሙ ፡ ደቂቁ ፡ ለዮቃጤን ።
Obal, Abimael, Sheba,
俄巴路、亞比瑪利、示巴、
10:29
ወኮነ ፡ ምንባራቲሆሙ ፡ እምነ ፡ ማሴ ፡ እስከ ፡ ሳፈራ ፡ ይበጽሕ ፡ ደብረ ፡ ሠረቃዌ ።
Ophir, Havilah, and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan.
阿斐、哈腓拉、約巴，這都是約坍的兒子。
10:30
እሉ ፡ እሙንቱ ፡ ደቂቁ ፡ ለሴም ፡ በበ(ዘመዶሙ ፡ ወ)ነገዶሙ ፡ ወበበ ፡ ነገረ ፡ ብሔሮሙ ፡ ወበበአዝማዲሆሙ ።
Their dwelling extended from Mesha, as you go toward Sephar, the mountain of the east.
他們所住的地方是從米沙直到西發東邊的山。
10:31
ወዛቲ ፡ ይእቲ ፡ ነገደ ፡ ደቂቁ ፡ ለኖኅ ፡ በበዘመዶሙ ፡ ወእምነ ፡ እሉ ፡ ተወልደ ፡ ዘተዘርወ ፡ እምድኅረ ፡ አይኅ ።
These are the sons of Shem, by their families, according to their languages, lands, and nations.
這就是閃的子孫，各隨他們的宗族、方言，所住的地土、邦國。
