9:1
ወባረኮ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለኖኅ ፡ ወለደቂቁ ፡ [ወይቤሎሙ ፡] ብዝኁ ፡ ወተባዝኁ ፡ ወምልእዋ ፡ ለምድር ፡ ወኰንንዋ ።
God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them, “Be fruitful, multiply, and replenish the earth.
上帝賜福給挪亞和他的兒子，對他們說：「你們要生養眾多，遍滿了地。
9:2
ወይፍራህክሙ ፡ ወይርዐድ ፡ እምኔክሙ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ አራዊተ ፡ ገዳም ፡ ወአዕዋፈ ፡ ሰማይ ፡ ወዘይትኀወሥ ፡ ዲበ ፡ ምድር ፡ ወዓሣቲ ፡ ባሕር ፡ ወወሀብኩክሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ እዴክሙ ።
The fear of you and the dread of you will be on every animal of the earth, and on every bird of the sky. Everything that moves along the ground, and all the fish of the sea, are delivered into your hand.
凡地上的走獸和空中的飛鳥都必驚恐，懼怕你們，連地上一切的昆蟲並海裏一切的魚都交付你們的手。
9:3
ይኩን ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ዘይትሐወስ ፡ ዘሕያው ፡ ለክሙ ፡ ይኩንክሙ ፡ መብልዐ ፡ ከመ ፡ ኀመልማለ ፡ ሣዕር ፡ ወሀብኩክሙ ፡ ኵሎ ።
Every moving thing that lives will be food for you. As I gave you the green herb, I have given everything to you.
凡活着的動物都可以作你們的食物。這一切我都賜給你們，如同菜蔬一樣。
9:4
ወባሕቱ ፡ ሥጋ ፡ ዘቦ ፡ ደመ ፡ ነፍስ ፡ ኢትብልዑ ።
But flesh with its life, that is, its blood, you shall not eat.
惟獨肉帶着血，那就是牠的生命，你們不可吃。
9:5
እስመ ፡ ደም ፡ ነፍስክሙኒ ፡ ወእትኃሠሥ ፡ እምኵሉ ፡ አራዊት ፡ እትኃሠሥ ፡ ወእምነ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ እደ ፡ ሰብእ ፡ ወእኁሁ ፡ ወእትኃሠሥ ፡ ለኵሉ ፡ ነፍሰ ፡ እጓለ ፡ እመሕያው ።
I will surely require accounting for your life’s blood. At the hand of every animal I will require it. At the hand of man, even at the hand of every man’s brother, I will require the life of man.
流你們血、害你們命的，無論是獸是人，我必討他的罪，就是向各人的弟兄也是如此。
9:6
ዘከዐወ ፡ ደመ ፡ ሰብእ ፡ ህየንተ ፡ ደመ ፡ ዝክቱ ፡ ይትከዐው ፡ ደሙ ፡ እስመ ፡ በአምሳለ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ገበርክዎ ፡ ለሰብእ ።
Whoever sheds man’s blood, his blood will be shed by man, for God made man in his own image.
凡流人血的，他的血也必被人所流，因為上帝造人是照自己的形像造的。
9:7
ወአንትሙሰ ፡ ብዝኁ ፡ ወተባዝኁ ፡ ወምልእዋ ፡ ለምድር ፡ ወብዝኁ ፡ ላዕሌሃ ።
Be fruitful and multiply. Increase abundantly on the earth, and multiply in it.”
你們要生養眾多，在地上昌盛繁茂。」
9:8
ወይቤሎ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለኖኅ ፡ ወለውሉዱ ፡ ምስሌሁ ፡ እንዘ ፡ ይብል ።
God spoke to Noah and to his sons with him, saying,
上帝曉諭挪亞和他的兒子說：
9:9
ናሁ ፡ አነ ፡ እሁብ ፡ ኪዳነ ፡ ምስሌክም ፡ (ዲበ ፡ ምድር ፡) ምስሌክሙ ፡ ወለዘርእክሙ ፡ እምድኅሬክሙ ፤
“As for me, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your offspring after you,
「我與你們和你們的後裔立約，
9:10
ለኵሉ ፡ ነፍሰ ፡ ሕያው ፡ እንተ ፡ ምስሌክሙ ፡ ወእምነ ፡ አዕዋፍ ፡ ወእንስሳ ፡ ወኵሉ ፡ አራዊተ ፡ ምድር ፡ ዘምስሌክሙ ፡ ዘወፅአ ፡ እምውስተ ፡ ታቦት ።
and with every living creature that is with you: the birds, the livestock, and every animal of the earth with you, of all that go out of the ship, even every animal of the earth.
並與你們這裏的一切活物－就是飛鳥、牲畜、走獸，凡從方舟裏出來的活物－立約。
9:11
ኣቀውም ፡ ኪዳንየ ፡ ምስሌክሙ ፡ ወኢይመውት ፡ እንከ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ዘሥጋ ፡ በማየ ፡ አይኅ ፡ ወኢያመጽእ ፡ እንከ ፡ ማየ ፡ አይኅ ፡ ለአማስኖ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ምድር ።
I will establish my covenant with you: All flesh will not be cut off any more by the waters of the flood. There will never again be a flood to destroy the earth.”
我與你們立約，凡有血肉的，不再被洪水滅絕，也不再有洪水毀壞地了。」
9:12
ወይቤሎ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለኖኅ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ትእምርተ ፡ ኪዳንየ ፡ ዘእሁበክሙ ፡ አነ ፡ ማእከሌየ ፡ ወማእከሌክሙ ፡ ወማእከለ ፡ ነፍሰ ፡ ሕይወት ፡ እንተ ፡ ሀለወት ፡ ምስሌክሙ ፡ ለትውልድ ፡ ዘለዓለም ።
God said, “This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations:
上帝說：「我與你們並你們這裏的各樣活物所立的永約是有記號的。
9:13
ወቀስትየ ፡ እሠይም ፡ ውስተ ፡ ደመናት ፡ ወትከውን ፡ ተኣምረ ፡ ኪዳንየ ፡ ማእከሌየ ፡ ወማእከለ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ምድር ።
I set my rainbow in the cloud, and it will be a sign of a covenant between me and the earth.
我把虹放在雲彩中，這就可作我與地立約的記號了。
9:14
ወይከውን ፡ ሶበ ፡ ኣጸልም ፡ ደመና ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ምድር ፡ ታስተርኢ ፡ ቀስትየ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ደመና ።
When I bring a cloud over the earth, that the rainbow will be seen in the cloud,
我使雲彩蓋地的時候，必有虹現在雲彩中，
9:15
ወእዜከር ፡ እንከ ፡ ኪዳንየ ፡ ዘሀሎ ፡ ማእከሌክሙ ፡ ወማእከሌየ ፡ ወማእከለ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ነፍሰ ፡ ሕይወት ፡ እንተ ፡ ሀለወት ፡ ውስተ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ዘሥጋ ፡ ወኢያመጽእ ፡ እንከ ፡ ማየ ፡ አይኅ ፡ ከመ ፡ እደመስሶ ፡ ለኵሉ ፡ ዘሥጋ ።
I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh, and the waters will no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.
我便記念我與你們和各樣有血肉的活物所立的約，水就再不氾濫、毀壞一切有血肉的物了。
9:16
ወትወፅእ ፡ ቀስትየ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ደመና ፡ ወእሬእያ ፡ ከመ ፡ እዘከር ፡ ኪዳንየ ፡ ዘለዓለም ፡ ዘማእከለ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወማእከለ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ዘሥጋ ፡ ዘቦ ፡ መንፈሰ ፡ ሕይወት ፡ ዘሀሎ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ምድር ።
The rainbow will be in the cloud. I will look at it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth.”
虹必現在雲彩中，我看見，就要記念我與地上各樣有血肉的活物所立的永約。」
9:17
ወይቤሎ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለኖኅ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ [ትእምርተ ፡] ኪዳንየ ፡ ዘኣቀውም ፡ ማእከሌየ ፡ ወማእከሌክሙ ።
God said to Noah, “This is the token of the covenant which I have established between me and all flesh that is on the earth.”
上帝對挪亞說：「這就是我與地上一切有血肉之物立約的記號了。」
9:18
ወእሉ ፡ እሙንቱ ፡ ደቂቁ ፡ ለኖኅ ፡ እለ ፡ ወፅኡ ፡ እምውስተ ፡ ታቦት ፡ ሴም ፡ ወካም ፡ ወያፌት ፡ ወካምሰ ፡ አቡሆሙ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ለከናአን ።
The sons of Noah who went out from the ship were Shem, Ham, and Japheth. Ham is the father of Canaan.
出方舟挪亞的兒子就是閃、含、雅弗。含是迦南的父親。
9:19
እሉ ፡ ሠለስቱ ፡ እሙንቱ ፡ ደቂቁ ፡ ለኖኅ ፡ እለ ፡ ተዘርዑ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ምድር ።
These three were the sons of Noah, and from these the whole earth was populated.
這是挪亞的三個兒子，他們的後裔分散在全地。
9:20
ወእምድኅረ ፡ አይኅ ፡ አኀዘ ፡ ኖኅ ፡ ይትገበራ ፡ ለምድር ፡ ወተከለ ፡ ዐጸደ ፡ ወይን ።
Noah began to be a farmer, and planted a vineyard.
挪亞作起農夫來，栽了一個葡萄園。
9:21
ወሰትየ ፡ እምኔሁ ፡ ወሰክረ ፡ ወተዐረቅ ፡ በውስተ ፡ ቤቱ ።
He drank of the wine and got drunk. He was uncovered within his tent.
他喝了園中的酒便醉了，在帳棚裏赤着身子。
9:22
ወርእዮ ፡ ከም ፡ አቡሆሙ ፡ ለከናአን ፡ እንዘ ፡ ዕራቁ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ አቡሆሙ ፡ (ወሠሐቀ ፡) ወወጽአ ፡ ወነገሮሙ ፡ ለክልኤሆሙ ፡ አኀዊሁ ፡ በአፍአ ።
Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brothers outside.
迦南的父親含看見他父親赤身，就到外邊告訴他兩個弟兄。
9:23
ወነሥኡ ፡ ሴም ፡ ወያፌት ፡ ልብሰ ፡ ወወደዩ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ክልኤሆሙ ፡ ዲበ ፡ ዘባናቲሆሙ ፡ ወሖሩ ፡ ድኅራተ ፡ ወከደኑ ፡ ዕርቃነ ፡ አቡሆሙ ፡ ወገጾሙ ፡ ድኅሬሆሙ ፡ አግብኡ ፡ ወኢርእዩ ፡ ዕርቃነ ፡ አቡሆሙ ።
Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it on both their shoulders, went in backwards, and covered the nakedness of their father. Their faces were backwards, and they didn’t see their father’s nakedness.
於是閃和雅弗拿件衣服搭在肩上，倒退着進去，給他父親蓋上；他們背着臉就看不見父親的赤身。
9:24
ወሶበ ፡ ጽሕወ ፡ ኖኅ ፡ እምወይኑ ፡ አእመረ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ዘገብረ ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ወልዱ ፡ ዘይንእስ ።
Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his youngest son had done to him.
挪亞醒了酒，知道小兒子向他所做的事，
9:25
ወይቤ ፡ ኖኅ ፡ ርጉመ ፡ ይኩን ፡ ከናአን ፡ ገብረ ፡ ወነባሬ ፡ ይኩን ፡ ለአኀዊሁ ።
He said, “Canaan is cursed. He will be a servant of servants to his brothers.”
就說： 迦南當受咒詛， 必給他弟兄作奴僕的奴僕；
9:26
ወይቤ ፡ ይትባረክ ፡ እግዚእ ፡ አምላኩ ፡ ለሴም ፡ ወይኩን ፡ ከናአን ፡ ገብሮ ።
He said, “Blessed be Yahweh, the God of Shem. Let Canaan be his servant.
又說： 耶和華－閃的上帝是應當稱頌的！ 願迦南作閃的奴僕。
9:27
ወለያርሕብ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ብሔረ ፡ ለያፌት ፡ ወይኅድር ፡ ውስተ ፡ ቤቱ ፡ ለሴም ፡ ወይኩን ፡ ከናአን ፡ ገብሮ ።
May God enlarge Japheth. Let him dwell in the tents of Shem. Let Canaan be his servant.”
願上帝使雅弗擴張， 使他住在閃的帳棚裏； 又願迦南作他的奴僕。
9:28
ወሐይወ ፡ ኖኅ ፡ እምድኅረ ፡ አይኅ ፡ ፫፻ወ፶ዓመተ ።
Noah lived three hundred fifty years after the flood.
洪水以後，挪亞又活了三百五十年。
9:29
ወኮነ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ መዋዕሊሁ ፡ ለኖኅ ፡ ፱ወ፶ዓመተ ፡ ወሞተ ።
All the days of Noah were nine hundred fifty years, and then he died.
挪亞共活了九百五十歲就死了。
