11:1
ወነበቦሙ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለሙሴ ፡ ወለአሮን ፡ ወይቤሎሙ ፤
Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying to them,
耶和華對摩西、亞倫說：
11:2
ንግርዎሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ወበልዎሙ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ እንስሳ ፡ ዘትበልዑ ፡ እምውስተ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ እንስሳ ፡ ዘሀሎ ፡ ዲበ ፡ ምድር ።
“Speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘These are the living things which you may eat among all the animals that are on the earth.
「你們曉諭以色列人說，在地上一切走獸中可吃的乃是這些：
11:3
ኵሉ ፡ እንስሳ ፡ ዘንፉቅ ፡ ሰኰናሁ ፡ ወሥጡቅ ፡ ጽፍሩ ፡ ማእከሉ ፡ ወእንተ ፡ ክልኤቲ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ወዘይትመሠኳዕ ፡ እምውስተ ፡ እንስሳ ፡ ኪያሁ ፡ ብልዑ ።
Whatever parts the hoof, and is cloven-footed, and chews the cud among the animals, that you may eat.
凡蹄分兩瓣、倒嚼的走獸，你們都可以吃。
11:4
ወዝንቱ ፡ ባሕቱ ፡ ዘኢትበልዑ ፡ እምውስተ ፡ ዘይትመሠኳዕ ፡ ወእምነ ፡ ዘንፉቅ ፡ ሰኰናሁ ፡ ገመል ፡ እስመ ፡ ይትመሠኳዕ ፡ ወኢኮነ ፡ ንፉቀ ፡ ሰኰናሁ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ ርኩስ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ለክሙ ።
“‘Nevertheless these you shall not eat of those that chew the cud, or of those who part the hoof: the camel, because it chews the cud but doesn’t have a parted hoof, is unclean to you.
但那倒嚼或分蹄之中不可吃的乃是：駱駝－因為倒嚼不分蹄，就與你們不潔淨；
11:5
ወደሲጶዳሂ ፡ እስመ ፡ ይትመሠኳዕ ፡ ወኢኮነ ፡ ንፉቀ ፡ ሰኰናሁ ፡ ወዝንቱኒ ፡ ርኩስ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ለክሙ ።
The hyrax, because it chews the cud but doesn’t have a parted hoof, is unclean to you.
沙番－因為倒嚼不分蹄，就與你們不潔淨；
11:6
ወኪሮግርሊዮስ[ኒ] ፡ እስመ ፡ ይትመሠኳዕ ፡ ወኢኮነ ፡ ንፉቀ ፡ ሰኰናሁ ፡ ወውእቱኒ ፡ ርኩስ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ለክሙ ።
The hare, because it chews the cud but doesn’t have a parted hoof, is unclean to you.
觠子－因為倒嚼不分蹄，就與你們不潔淨；
11:7
ወሐራውያኒ ፡ እስመ ፡ ንፉቅ ፡ ሰኰናሁ ፡ ወሥጡቅ ፡ እምነ ፡ ማእከለ ፡ ጽፈሪሁ ፡ ወኢይትመሠኳዕ ፡ ወውእቱኒ ፡ ርኩስ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ለክሙ ።
The pig, because it has a split hoof, and is cloven-footed, but doesn’t chew the cud, is unclean to you.
豬－因為蹄分兩瓣，卻不倒嚼，就與你們不潔淨。
11:8
እምነ ፡ ሥጋሆሙ ፡ ኢትብልዑ ፡ ወበድኖሙኒ ፡ ኢትግስሱ ፡ እስመ ፡ ርኩሳን ፡ ውእቶሙ ፡ ለክሙ ።
You shall not eat their meat. You shall not touch their carcasses. They are unclean to you.
這些獸的肉，你們不可吃；死的，你們不可摸，都與你們不潔淨。
11:9
ወዝንቱ ፡ ዘትበልዑ ፡ እምነ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ዘውስተ ፡ ማይ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ዘቦ ፡ ክንፈ ፡ ወቅሣረ ፡ ዘሀሎ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ማይ ፡ ወውስተ ፡ ባሕር ፡ ወውስተ ፡ አፍላግ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ዘትበልዑ ።
“‘You may eat of all these that are in the waters: whatever has fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, that you may eat.
「水中可吃的乃是這些：凡在水裏、海裏、河裏、有翅有鱗的，都可以吃。
11:10
ወኵሉ ፡ ዘአልቦ ፡ ክንፈ ፡ ወቅሣረ ፡ ዘውስተ ፡ ማይ ፡ ወዘውስተ ፡ ባሕር ፡ ወዘውስተ ፡ አፍላግ ፡ እምነ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ዘይጐሥዕ ፡ ማይ ፡ ወእምነ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ነፍስ ፡ እንተ ፡ ሕያውት ፡ ውስተ ፡ ማይ ፡ ርኩስ ፡ ውእቱ ።
All that don’t have fins and scales in the seas and rivers, all that move in the waters, and all the living creatures that are in the waters, they are an abomination to you,
凡在海裏、河裏，並一切水裏游動的活物，無翅無鱗的，你們都當以為可憎。
11:11
ወርኩሰ ፡ ይኩንክሙ ፡ እምነ ፡ ሥጋሆሙ ፡ ኢትብልዑ ፡ ወበድኖሙኒ ፡ አስቆርሩ ።
and you shall detest them. You shall not eat of their meat, and you shall detest their carcasses.
這些無翅無鱗、以為可憎的，你們不可吃牠的肉；死的也當以為可憎。
11:12
ወኵሉ ፡ ዘአልቦ ፡ ክንፈ ፡ ወቅሣረ ፡ እምነ ፡ ዘውስተ ፡ ማይ ፡ ርኩስ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ለክሙ ።
Whatever has no fins nor scales in the waters is an abomination to you.
凡水裏無翅無鱗的，你們都當以為可憎。
11:13
ወዝንቱ ፡ ዘታስቆርሩ ፡ እምነ ፡ አዕዋፍ ፡ ወዘኢትበልዑ ፡ እስመ ፡ ርኩስ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ንስር ፡ ወግሪጳ ፡ ወአልያጦን ፤
“‘You shall detest these among the birds; they shall not be eaten because they are an abomination: the eagle, the vulture, the black vulture,
「雀鳥中你們當以為可憎、不可吃的乃是：鵰、狗頭鵰、紅頭鵰、
11:14
ወ[ጊጳ] ፡ ወግለውቃ ፡ ወሆባይ ፡ ወኵሉ ፡ ዘአምሳሉ ።
the red kite, any kind of black kite,
鷂鷹、小鷹與其類；
11:15
ወቋዕ ፡ ወኵሉ ፡ ዘአምሳሉ ፤
any kind of raven,
烏鴉與其類；
11:16
ወሰገኖ ፡ ወኵሉ ፡ ዘአምሳሉ ፡ ወለሮን ፡ ወዘአምሳሉ ፡ ወጕዛ ፡ ወዘአምሳሉ ፤
the horned owl, the screech owl, the gull, any kind of hawk,
鴕鳥、夜鷹、魚鷹、鷹與其類；
11:17
ወጉጓ ፡ ወቀጠራቅጤን ፡ ወኢብን ፤
the little owl, the cormorant, the great owl,
鴞鳥、鸕鶿、貓頭鷹、
11:18
ወጶርፍሪየና ፡ ወአድገ ፡ መረብ ፡ ወቀቀኖን ፤
the white owl, the desert owl, the osprey,
角鴟、鵜鶘、禿鵰、
11:19
ወአሮድዮን ፡ ወከራድርዮን ፡ ወዘይመስሎ ፡ ወኤጶጳ ፡ ወፅግነት ።
the stork, any kind of heron, the hoopoe, and the bat.
鸛、鷺鷥與其類；戴鵀與蝙蝠。
11:20
ወኵሉ ፡ ዘይትሐወስ ፡ አዕዋፍ ፡ ዘየሐውር ፡ በአርባዕ ፡ ርኩስ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ለክሙ ።
“‘All flying insects that walk on all fours are an abomination to you.
「凡有翅膀用四足爬行的物，你們都當以為可憎。
11:21
አላ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ ዘትበልፁ ፡ እምነ ፡ ዘይትሐወስ ፡ እምነ ፡ አዕዋፍ ፡ ዘየሐውር ፡ በአርባዕ ፡ ዘቦ ፡ አገዳ ፡ መልዕልተ ፡ እገሪሁ ፡ በዘ ፡ ይሠርር ፡ ቦቱ ፡ መልዕልተ ፡ ምድር ።
Yet you may eat these: of all winged creeping things that go on all fours, which have long, jointed legs for hopping on the earth.
只是有翅膀用四足爬行的物中，有足有腿，在地上蹦跳的，你們還可以吃。
11:22
ወዝንቱ ፡ ዘትበልዑ ፡ እምኔሁ ፡ ደገብያ ፡ ወዘአምሳሉ ፡ ወአ[ጣቃ]ን ፡ ወዘአምሳሉ ፡ ወኦፍዮማክን ፡ ወዘአምሳሉ ፡ ወአንበጣ ፡ ወዘአምሳሉ ።
Even of these you may eat: any kind of locust, any kind of katydid, any kind of cricket, and any kind of grasshopper.
其中有蝗蟲、螞蚱、蟋蟀與其類；蚱蜢與其類；這些你們都可以吃。
11:23
ወእምነ ፡ ዘይሠርር ፡ ዘአርባዕቱ ፡ እገሪሁ ፡ ርኵስ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ለክሙ ።
But all winged creeping things which have four feet are an abomination to you.
但是有翅膀有四足的爬物，你們都當以為可憎。
11:24
ወቦሙ ፡ ትረኵሱ ፤
“‘By these you will become unclean: whoever touches their carcass shall be unclean until the evening.
「這些都能使你們不潔淨。凡摸了死的，必不潔淨到晚上。
11:25
ኵሉ ፡ ዘገሰሰ ፡ በድኖሙ ፡ ርኩስ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ እስከ ፡ ሰርክ ።
Whoever carries any part of their carcass shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the evening.
凡拿了死的，必不潔淨到晚上，並要洗衣服。
11:26
ወኵሉ ፡ ዘአልዐለ ፡ በድኖሙ ፡ የኀፅብ ፡ አልባሲሁ ፡ ወርኩስ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ እስከ ፡ ሰርክ ።
“‘Every animal which has a split hoof that isn’t completely divided, or doesn’t chew the cud, is unclean to you. Everyone who touches them shall be unclean.
凡走獸分蹄不成兩瓣、也不倒嚼的，是與你們不潔淨；凡摸了的就不潔淨。
11:27
ወእምነ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ እንስሳ ፡ ዘንፉቅ ፡ ሰኰናሁ ፡ ወሥጡቅ ፡ ጽፈሪሁ ፡ ወኢይትመሠኳዕ ፡ ርኩስ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ለክሙ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ዘገሰሰ ፡ በድኖሙ ፡ ርኩስ ፡ ውእቱ ።
Whatever goes on its paws, among all animals that go on all fours, they are unclean to you. Whoever touches their carcass shall be unclean until the evening.
凡四足的走獸，用掌行走的，是與你們不潔淨；摸其屍的，必不潔淨到晚上。
11:28
ወኵሉ ፡ ዘየሐውር ፡ በእደዊሁ ፡ እምነ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ አራዊት ፡ ዘየሐውር ፡ በአርባዕቱ ፡ ርኩስ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ለክሙ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ዘገሰሰ ፡ በድኖሙ ፡ ርኩስ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ እስከ ፡ ሰርክ ።
He who carries their carcass shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the evening. They are unclean to you.
拿其屍的，必不潔淨到晚上，並要洗衣服。這些是與你們不潔淨的。
11:29
ወዘጾረ ፡ በድኖሙ ፡ የኀፅብ ፡ አልባሲሲሁ ፡ ወርኩስ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ እስከ ፡ ሰርክ ፡ ወዝንቱ ፡ ዘርኩስ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ለክሙ ።
“‘These are they which are unclean to you among the creeping things that creep on the earth: the weasel, the rat, any kind of great lizard,
「地上爬物與你們不潔淨的乃是這些：鼬鼠、鼫鼠、蜥蜴與其類；
11:30
ወእምነ ፡ ዘሕያውኒ ፡ ዘይትሐወስ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ምድር ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ ዘርኩስ ፡ ለክሙ ፡ አንጸዋ ፡ ወጽቍጽቌን ፡ ወኀገጽ ፡ ወላጽቄት ፡ ወኀንጶን ፡ ወዐንጉግ ፡ ወጋሌ ፡ ወከሜሌዎን ፡ ወሰጳለክስ ።
the gecko, and the monitor lizard, the wall lizard, the skink, and the chameleon.
壁虎、龍子、守宮、蛇醫、蝘蜓。
11:31
ዝንቱ ፡ ዘርኩስ ፡ ለክሙ ፡ እምኵሉ ፡ ዘሕያው ፡ ዘይትሐወስ ፡ ዲበ ፡ ምድር ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ዘገሰሰ ፡ በድኖሙ ፡ ርኩስ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ እስከ ፡ ሰርክ ።
These are they which are unclean to you among all that creep. Whoever touches them when they are dead shall be unclean until the evening.
這些爬物都是與你們不潔淨的。在牠死了以後，凡摸了的，必不潔淨到晚上。
11:32
ወኵሉ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ዘወድቀ ፡ በድኖሙ ፡ ርኩስ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ እምኵሉ ፡ ንዋየ ፡ ዕፅ ፡ አው ፡ ልብስ ፡ አው ፡ ማእስ ፡ አው ፡ ኀስል ፡ እምኵሉ ፡ ንዋይ ፡ ዘይገብሩ ፡ ቦቱ ፡ ግብረ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ማይ ፡ ይጠምዕዎ ፡ ወርኩስ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ እስከ ፡ ሰርክ ፡ ወእምዝ ፡ ንጹሕ ፡ ውእቱ ።
Anything they fall on when they are dead shall be unclean; whether it is any vessel of wood, or clothing, or skin, or sack, whatever vessel it is, with which any work is done, it must be put into water, and it shall be unclean until the evening. Then it will be clean.
其中死了的，掉在甚麼東西上，這東西就不潔淨，無論是木器、衣服、皮子、口袋，不拘是做甚麼工用的器皿，須要放在水中，必不潔淨到晚上，到晚上才潔淨了。
11:33
ወኵሉ ፡ ንዋየ ፡ ልሕኵት ፡ ዘወድቀ ፡ ላዕሌሁ ፡ እምነ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ከርሡ ፡ እምከመ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ውስጡ ፡ ወድቀ ፡ ርኩስ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ይሰብርዎ ።
Every earthen vessel into which any of them falls and all that is in it shall be unclean. You shall break it.
若有死了掉在瓦器裏的，其中不拘有甚麼，就不潔淨，你們要把這瓦器打破了。
11:34
ወኵሉ ፡ በዘ ፡ ትበልዑ ፡ እክለ ፡ ወእመኒ ፡ ተወድየ ፡ ውስቴቱ ፡ ማይ ፡ ርኩስ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ለክሙ ፡ ወእመኒ ፡ ንዋየ ፡ ስቴ ፡ በዘ ፡ ቦቱ ፡ ትሰትዩ ፡ ርኩስ ፡ ውእቱኒ ።
All food which may be eaten which is soaked in water shall be unclean. All drink that may be drunk in every such vessel shall be unclean.
其中一切可吃的食物，沾水的就不潔淨，並且那樣器皿中一切可喝的，也必不潔淨。
11:35
ወኵሉ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ዘወድቀ ፡ በድኖሙ ፡ ርኩስ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ወእመሰ ፡ እቶን ፡ አው ፡ ምንባረ ፡ መቅጹት ፡ ትነሥትዎ ፡ እስመ ፡ ርኩስ ፡ ወርኩስ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ለክሙ ።
Everything whereupon part of their carcass falls shall be unclean; whether oven, or range for pots, it shall be broken in pieces. They are unclean, and shall be unclean to you.
其中已死的，若有一點掉在甚麼物件上，那物件就不潔淨，不拘是爐子，是鍋臺，就要打碎，都不潔淨，也必與你們不潔淨。
11:36
ዘእንበለ ፡ አንቅዕተ ፡ ማይ ፡ ወዐዘቃት ፡ ወአዕያጋተ ፡ ማይ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ ዘንጹሕ ፡ ለክሙ ፡ ወዘገሰሰ ፡ በድኖሙ ፡ ርኩስ ፡ ውእቱ ።
Nevertheless a spring or a cistern in which water is gathered shall be clean, but that which touches their carcass shall be unclean.
但是泉源或是聚水的池子仍是潔淨；惟挨了那死的，就不潔淨。
11:37
ወእመሰ ፡ ወድቀ ፡ በድኖሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ዘርእ ፡ ዘይዘራእ ፡ ንጹሕ ፡ ውእቱ ።
If part of their carcass falls on any sowing seed which is to be sown, it is clean.
若是死的，有一點掉在要種的子粒上，子粒仍是潔淨；
11:38
ወእመ ፡ ባሕቱ ፡ ተክዕወ ፡ ማይ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ዘርእ ፡ [ወ]ወድቀ ፡ በድኖሙ ፡ ላዕሌሁ ፡ ርኩስ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ለክሙ ።
But if water is put on the seed, and part of their carcass falls on it, it is unclean to you.
若水已經澆在子粒上，那死的有一點掉在上頭，這子粒就與你們不潔淨。
11:39
ወእመቦ ፡ ዘሞተ ፡ እምእንስሳ ፡ ዘይከውነክሙ ፡ ለበሊዕ ፡ ዘገሰሰ ፡ በድኖሙ ፡ ርኩስ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ እስከ ፡ ሰርክ ።
“‘If any animal of which you may eat dies, he who touches its carcass shall be unclean until the evening.
「你們可吃的走獸若是死了，有人摸牠，必不潔淨到晚上；
11:40
ወዘበልዐ ፡ ማውታሁ ፡ የኀፅብ ፡ አልባሲተ ፡ ወርኩስ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ እስከ ፡ ሰርክ ፡ ወዘአልዐለ ፡ በድኖሙ ፡ የኀፅብ ፡ አልባሲሁ ፡ ወርኩስ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ እስከ ፡ ሰርክ ።
He who eats of its carcass shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the evening. He also who carries its carcass shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the evening.
有人吃那死了的走獸，必不潔淨到晚上，並要洗衣服；拿了死走獸的，必不潔淨到晚上，並要洗衣服。
11:41
ወኵሉ ፡ ዘይትሐወስ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ምድር ፡ አርዌ ፡ ርኩስ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ለክሙ ፡ ወኢትብልዕዎ ።
“‘Every creeping thing that creeps on the earth is an abomination. It shall not be eaten.
「凡地上的爬物是可憎的，都不可吃。
11:42
ወኵሎ ፡ ዘየሐውር ፡ በከብዱ ፡ ወኵሎ ፡ ዘየሐውር ፡ በአርባዕ ፡ ለዝሉፉ ፡ ወዘብዘኅ ፡ እገሪሁ ፡ እምኵሉ ፡ አርዌ ፡ ዘይትሐወስ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ምድር ፡ ኢትብልዕዎ ፡ እስመ ፡ ርኩስ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ለክሙ ።
Whatever goes on its belly, and whatever goes on all fours, or whatever has many feet, even all creeping things that creep on the earth, them you shall not eat; for they are an abomination.
凡用肚子行走的和用四足行走的，或是有許多足的，就是一切爬在地上的，你們都不可吃，因為是可憎的。
11:43
ወኢታርኵሱ ፡ ነፍሰክሙ ፡ በኵሉ ፡ አራዊት ፡ ዘይትሐወስ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ምድር ፡ ወኢትርኰሱ ፡ በእሉ ፡ ወኢትኩኑ ፡ ርኩሳነ ፡ ቦሙ ።
You shall not make yourselves abominable with any creeping thing that creeps. You shall not make yourselves unclean with them, that you should be defiled by them.
你們不可因甚麼爬物使自己成為可憎的，也不可因這些使自己不潔淨，以致染了污穢。
11:44
እስመ ፡ አነ ፡ እግዚአብሔ ፡ አምላክክሙ ፡ ወተቀደሱ ፡ ወቅዱሳነ ፡ ኩኑ ፡ እስመ ፡ አነ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክክሙ ፡ ቅዱስ ፡ አነ ፡ ወኢትገምኑ ፡ ነፍሰክሙ ፡ በኵሉ ፡ አራዊት ፡ ዘይትሐወስ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ምድር ።
For I am Yahweh your God. Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be holy; for I am holy. You shall not defile yourselves with any kind of creeping thing that moves on the earth.
我是耶和華－你們的上帝；所以你們要成為聖潔，因為我是聖潔的。你們也不可在地上的爬物污穢自己。
11:45
እስመ ፡ አነ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክክሙ ፡ ዘአውፃእኩክሙ ፡ እምነ ፡ ምድረ ፡ ግብጽ ፡ ከመ ፡ እኩንክሙ ፡ አምላክክሙ ፡ ወትኩኑ ፡ ቅዱሳነ ፡ እስመ ፡ አነ ፡ ቅዱስ ፡ አነ ።
For I am Yahweh who brought you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God. You shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.
我是把你們從埃及地領出來的耶和華，要作你們的上帝；所以你們要聖潔，因為我是聖潔的。」
11:46
ዝንቱ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ሕግ ፡ ዘበእንተ ፡ እንስሳ ፡ ወዘበእንተ ፡ አዕዋፍ ፡ ወዘበእንተ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ነፍስ ፡ እንተ ፡ ትትሐወስ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ማይ ፡ ወኵሉ ፡ ነፍስ ፡ እንተ ፡ ትትሐወስ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ምድር ፤
“‘This is the law of the animal, and of the bird, and of every living creature that moves in the waters, and of every creature that creeps on the earth,
這是走獸、飛鳥，和水中游動的活物，並地上爬物的條例。
11:47
