6:1
ስምዑኬ ፡ ነገሥት ፡ ወለብዉ ፡ ወአእምሩ ፡ መኳንንተ ፡ አጽናፈ ፡ ምድር ።
Hear therefore, you⌃ kings, and understand; Learn, you⌃ judges of the ends of the earth:
君王啊，所以你們要聽，要明白；地極的審判官哪，你們要受教。
6:2
ወአጽምኡ ፡ እለ ፡ ትእኅዙ ፡ ምድረ ፡ ብዙኀ ፡ ወእለ ፡ ትትዔበዩ ፡ በብዝኀ ፡ አሕዛብ ።
Give ear, you⌃ that have dominion over much people, And make your boast in multitudes of nations.
你們這些轄管眾民、因列邦羣眾而誇耀的，要側耳而聽。
6:3
እስመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወሀበክሙ ፡ እዘዘ ፡ ወጽንዕክሙ ፡ እምኀበ ፡ ልዑል ፡ ወውእቱ ፡ ዘየሐትት ፡ ምግባሪክሙ ፡ ወይፈትን ፡ ምክረክሙ ።
Because your dominion was given you from the Lord, And your sovereignty from the Most High; Who will search out your works, And will make inquisition of your counsels:
因為你們的權柄是從主賜下的，你們的統治是從至高者而來的；祂必察究你們的作為，鑒察你們的計謀。
6:4
እስመ ፡ እንዘ ፡ ላእካነ ፡ ጽድቁ ፡ አንትሙ ፡ እፎኑመ ፡ ኢትኴንኑ ፡ ፍትሕ ፡ ርቱዐ ፡ ወኢዓቀብክሙ ፡ ሕጎ ፡ ወኢሖረክሙ ፡ በፍናወ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
Because being officers of his kingdom you⌃ did not judge aright, Neither kept you⌃ law, nor walked after the counsel of God.
因為你們既作祂國度的臣僕，卻沒有按公正審判，沒有遵守律法，也沒有照神的旨意而行。
6:5
ወያነሥእ ፡ ላዕሌክሙ ፡ ድንጋፄ ፡ ፍጡነ ፡ ዘይትቃወመክሙ ፡ እስመ ፡ ኵነኔ ፡ ምቱር ፡ ለመኳንንት ፡ ይከውን ።
Awfully and swiftly will he come upon you; Because a stern judgement befalleth those who are in high place:
祂必可畏而迅速地臨到你們；因為嚴厲的審判必臨到居高位的人。
6:6
ወለነዳይሰ ፡ ያነሐስዮ ፡ ሎቱ ፡ እምፍኖተ ፡ ምሕረት ፡ ወለጽኑዐንሰ ፡ ጽኑዐ ፡ ሐተታ ፡ የሐትትዎሙ ።
For the man of low estate may be pardoned in mercy, But mighty men will be searched out mightily.
因為卑微的人尚可蒙憐憫得赦免，但有權勢的人必受嚴厲的察究。
6:7
እስመ ፡ ኢያደሉ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለገጸ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ወኢየኃፍር ፡ ክብረ ፡ ዕበይ ፡ እስመ ፡ ዓቢየ ፡ ወንኡሰ ፡ ገብረ ፡ ወከማሁ ፡ ይሔሊ ፡ በእንተ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ዘይቀኒ ፡ ወዘይትቀነይ ፡ ወይሠርዖሙ ።
For the Sovereign Lord of all will not refrain himself for any man’s person, Neither will he reverence greatness; Because it is he that made both small and great, And alike he takes thought for all;
因為那作萬有之主宰者，必不因任何人的情面而退縮，也不因尊大而有所顧忌；因為無論大小都是祂所造的，祂也照樣眷顧萬人；
6:8
ወለአዚዛንሰ ፡ ኅዩለ ፡ ሐተታ ፡ ይበጽሖሙ ።
But strict is the scrutiny that comes upon the powerful.
但嚴密的察究必臨到有權勢的人。
6:9
ለክሙኬ ፡ ነገርየ ፡ ኢ ፡ መኳንንት ፡ እኩያን ፡ ወገፋዕያነ ፡ ከመ ፡ ታእምሩ ፡ ጥበበ ፡ ወተግሣፀ ፡ ወኢትደቁ ።
To you therefore, O princes, are my words, That you⌃ may learn wisdom and fall not from the right way.
君王啊，所以我的話是對你們說的，好叫你們學習智慧，不致失足跌倒。
6:10
እስመ ፡ እለ ፡ የአምሩ ፡ ትእዛዘ ፡ ጽድቅ ፡ ወየዓቅቡ ፡ በጽድቅ ፡ ይጸድቁ ፡ ወእለ ፡ ተምህርዋ ፡ ይረክቡ ፡ ምሕረተ ።
For those who have kept holily the things that are holy will themselves be hallowed; And those who have been taught them will find what to answer;
因為謹守聖事為聖的，必成為聖；領受這些教訓的，必尋得可以分訴的答話。
6:11
ፍትዉኬ ፡ እንከ ፡ ነገርየ ፡ አፍቅርዋ ፡ ወተገሠፁ ፡ ከመ ፡ ትርከቡ ፡ ሣህለ ፡ ወምሕረተ ።
Set your desire therefore on my words; Long for them, and you⌃ will be trained by their discipline.
所以你們要切慕我的話，渴想它們，就必受到訓誨。
6:12
ብርህት ፡ ይእቲ ፡ ጥቀ ፡ ጥበብ ፡ ወኢይጸመሂ ፡ ሥና ፡ ወእለ ፡ ያፈቅርዋ ፡ ይሬእይዋ ፡ ፍጡነ ፡ ወእለ ፡ የኃሥሥዋ ፡ ይረክብዋ ።
Wisdom is radiant and fades not away; And easily is she saw those who love her, And found of those who seek her.
智慧是光輝燦爛、永不衰殘的；愛慕她的人容易看見她，尋求她的人必尋見她。
6:13
ወትበጽሕ ፡ ለእለ ፡ ይፈትውዋ ፡ ወትትኤመሮሙ ፡ ቅድመ ።
She forestalleth those who desire to know her, making herself first known.
她搶先向那渴慕的人顯現，叫人先認識她。
6:14
ወዘይገይሥ ፡ ኀቤሃ ፡ ኢይፃሙ ፡ እስመ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ይረክባ ፡ ወትረ ፡ እንዘ ፡ ትጸንሖ ፡ ውሰተ ፡ ኆኅቱ ።
He that rises up early to seek her will have no toil, For he will find her sitting at his gates.
清早起來尋求她的，必不勞苦，因為必看見她坐在自己門口。
6:15
እስመ ፡ ሐሊዮ ፡ ኪያሃ ፡ ፍጻሜ ፡ አእምሮ ፡ ወዘተግሀ ፡ በእንቲአሃ ፡ ፍጡነ ፡ ዘእንበለ ፡ ትካዝ ፡ ይከውን ።
For to think upon her is perfectness of understanding, And he that watches for her sake will quickly be free from care.
因為思念她，就是明達的完全；為她警醒的，必速速無憂。
6:16
እስመ ፡ ለእለ ፡ ይደልውዋ ፡ ይእቲ ፡ ትመጽእ ፡ እንዘ ፡ ተኃሥሦሙ ፡ ወበውስተ ፡ ፍኖትኒ ፡ ታስተርእዮሙ ፡ ሥእልታ ፡ ግብተ ፡ አዳመ ፡ በኵሉ ፡ ሕሊና ፡ ትትራከቦሙ ።
Because she goes about, herself seeking those who are worthy of her, And in their paths she appears to them graciously, And in every purpose she meets them.
因為她親自周遊，尋找那些配得她的人，在他們的路上慈祥地向他們顯現，在各樣的籌畫中迎見他們。
6:17
እስመ ፡ ቀዳሚ ፡ ተግሣፅ ፡ ህልው ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ፍትወታ ፡ ወአስተሐምሞ ፡ በተግሣፅ ፡ አፍቅሮታ ፡ ውእቱ ።
For her true beginning is desire of discipline; And the care for discipline is love of her;
因為她最真實的開端就是渴慕訓誨；對訓誨的關切就是愛她，
6:18
ወአፍቅሮታሂ ፡ ዓቂበ ፡ ሕገ ፡ ዚአሃ ፡ ወጠይቆ ፡ ኢሙስና ፡ ውእቱ ።
And love of her is observance of her laws; And to give heed to her laws confirmeth incorruption;
愛她就是遵守她的律法；留心她的律法，就確保了不朽，
6:19
ወኢሙስናሂ ፡ ትሬሲ ፡ ሰብአ ፡ ቅሩበ ፡ ኀበ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
And incorruption brings near to God;
不朽使人親近神；
6:20
ፍትወታኬ ፡ ለጥበብ ፡ ታዓርግ ፡ ኀበ ፡ መንግሥት ።
So then desire of wisdom promoteth to a kingdom.
如此，渴慕智慧便引人進入國度。
6:21
እመሰኬ ፡ ትፈትዉ ፡ መኳንንተ ፡ አሕዛብ ፡ መናብርተ ፡ ወሢመተ ፡ መወንግሥተ ፡ አክብርዋ ፡ ለጥበብ ፡ ከመ ፡ ለዓለም ፡ ትንግሡ ።
If therefore you⌃ delight in thrones and sceptres, you⌃ princes of peoples, Honor wisdom, that you⌃ may reign forever.
萬民的君王啊，你們若喜愛寶座和權杖，就當尊崇智慧，好叫你們永遠作王。
6:22
ወምንት ፡ ይእቲ ፡ ጥበብ ፡ ወእፎ ፡ ኮነት ፡ አነ ፡ አየድዐክሙ ፡ ወኢየሃብእ ፡ እምኔክሙ ፡ ምሥጢራቲሃ ፡ ክቡተ ።
But what wisdom is, and how she came into being, I will declare, And I will not hide mysteries from you; But I will trace her out from the beginning of creation, And bring the knowledge of her into clear light, And I will not pass by the truth;
智慧是甚麼，她如何生成，我要宣告，不向你們隱藏奧祕；我要從創世之初追溯她的蹤跡，將認識她的知識顯明出來，絕不偏離真理；
6:23
ወባሕቱ ፡ አኃሥሥ ፡ እምጥንት ፡ ክዋኔሃ ፡ ወእሬሲ ፡ ክሡተ ፡ አእምሮታ ፡ ወኢይትዓደው ፡ ጽድቀ ፡ ወኢየሐውር ፡ በቅንአተ ፡ ሕመሜ ።
Neither indeed will I take pining envy for my companion in the way, Because envy will have no fellowship with wisdom.
我也決不與那枯槁的嫉妒同行，因為嫉妒與智慧毫無相交。
6:24
እስመ ፡ ዘከመዝሰ ፡ ኢይሳተፋ ፡ ለጥበብ ፡ እስመ ፡ ብዝኅ ፡ ጠበብት ፡ መድኃኒተ ፡ ዓለም ፡ ውእቱ ።
But a multitude of wise men is salvation to the world, And an understanding king is tranquillity to his people.
智慧人眾多就是世界的拯救，明智的君王就是百姓的安定。
6:25
ወንጉሥ ፡ ልብው ፡ ቃውም ፡ ለሕዝብ ፡ ተገሠፁኬ ፡ በቃልየ ፡ ወትረብኁ ።
Wherefore be disciplined by my words, and thereby will you⌃ profit.
所以你們要受我言語的訓誨，就必得益處。
