17:1
רוּחִ֣י חֻ֭בָּלָה יָמַ֥י נִזְעָ֗כוּ קְבָרִ֥ים לִֽי׃
“My spirit is consumed. My days are extinct and the grave is ready for me.
我的心靈消耗，我的日子滅盡； 墳墓為我預備好了。
17:2
אִם־לֹ֣א הֲ֭תֻלִים עִמָּדִ֑י וּ֝בְהַמְּרוֹתָ֗ם תָּלַ֥ן עֵינִֽי׃
Surely there are mockers with me. My eye dwells on their provocation.
真有戲笑我的在我這裏， 我眼常見他們惹動我。
17:3
שִֽׂימָה־נָּ֭א עׇרְבֵ֣נִי עִמָּ֑ךְ מִ֥י ה֝֗וּא לְיָדִ֥י יִתָּקֵֽעַ׃
“Now give a pledge. Be collateral for me with yourself. Who is there who will strike hands with me?
願主拿憑據給我，自己為我作保。 在你以外誰肯與我擊掌呢？
17:4
כִּֽי־לִ֭בָּם צָפַ֣נְתָּ מִשָּׂ֑כֶל עַל־כֵּ֝֗ן לֹ֣א תְרֹמֵֽם׃
For you have hidden their heart from understanding, therefore you will not exalt them.
因你使他們心不明理， 所以你必不高舉他們。
17:5
לְ֭חֵלֶק יַגִּ֣יד רֵעִ֑ים וְעֵינֵ֖י בָנָ֣יו תִּכְלֶֽנָה׃
He who denounces his friends for plunder, even the eyes of his children will fail.
控告他的朋友、以朋友為可搶奪的， 連他兒女的眼睛也要失明。
17:6
וְֽ֭הִצִּיגַנִי לִמְשֹׁ֣ל עַמִּ֑ים וְתֹ֖פֶת לְפָנִ֣ים אֶהְיֶֽה׃
“But he has made me a byword of the people. They spit in my face.
上帝使我作了民中的笑談； 他們也吐唾沫在我臉上。
17:7
וַתֵּ֣כַהּ מִכַּ֣עַשׂ עֵינִ֑י וִיצֻרַ֖י כַּצֵּ֣ל כֻּלָּֽם׃
My eye also is dim by reason of sorrow. All my members are as a shadow.
我的眼睛因憂愁昏花； 我的百體好像影兒。
17:8
יָשֹׁ֣מּוּ יְשָׁרִ֣ים עַל־זֹ֑את וְ֝נָקִ֗י עַל־חָנֵ֥ף יִתְעֹרָֽר׃
Upright men will be astonished at this. The innocent will stir himself up against the godless.
正直人因此必驚奇； 無辜的人要興起攻擊不敬虔之輩。
17:9
וְיֹאחֵ֣ז צַדִּ֣יק דַּרְכּ֑וֹ וּֽטְהׇר־יָ֝דַ֗יִם יֹסִ֥יף אֹֽמֶץ׃
Yet the righteous will hold to his way. He who has clean hands will grow stronger and stronger.
然而，義人要持守所行的道； 手潔的人要力上加力。
17:10
וְֽאוּלָ֗ם כֻּלָּ֣ם תָּ֭שֻׁבוּ וּבֹ֣אוּ נָ֑א וְלֹֽא־אֶמְצָ֖א בָכֶ֣ם חָכָֽם׃
But as for you all, come back. I will not find a wise man among you.
至於你們眾人，可以再來辯論吧！ 你們中間，我找不着一個智慧人。
17:11
יָמַ֣י עָ֭בְרוּ זִמֹּתַ֣י נִתְּק֑וּ מ֖וֹרָשֵׁ֣י לְבָבִֽי׃
My days are past. My plans are broken off, as are the thoughts of my heart.
我的日子已經過了； 我的謀算、我心所想望的已經斷絕。
17:12
לַ֭יְלָה לְי֣וֹם יָשִׂ֑ימוּ א֝֗וֹר קָר֥וֹב מִפְּנֵי־חֹֽשֶׁךְ׃
They change the night into day, saying ‘The light is near’ in the presence of darkness.
他們以黑夜為白晝， 說：亮光近乎黑暗。
17:13
אִם־אֲ֭קַוֶּה שְׁא֣וֹל בֵּיתִ֑י בַּ֝חֹ֗שֶׁךְ רִפַּ֥דְתִּי יְצוּעָֽי׃
If I look for Sheol as my house, if I have spread my couch in the darkness,
我若盼望陰間為我的房屋， 若下榻在黑暗中，
17:14
לַשַּׁ֣חַת קָ֭רָאתִי אָ֣בִי אָ֑תָּה אִמִּ֥י וַ֝אֲחֹתִ֗י לָרִמָּֽה׃
if I have said to corruption, ‘You are my father,’ and to the worm, ‘My mother,’ and ‘My sister,’
若對朽壞說：你是我的父； 對蟲說：你是我的母親姊妹；
17:15
וְ֭אַיֵּה אֵפ֣וֹ תִקְוָתִ֑י וְ֝תִקְוָתִ֗י מִ֣י יְשׁוּרֶֽנָּה׃
where then is my hope? As for my hope, who will see it?
這樣，我的指望在哪裏呢？ 我所指望的誰能看見呢？
17:16
בַּדֵּ֣י שְׁאֹ֣ל תֵּרַ֑דְנָה אִם־יַ֖חַד עַל־עָפָ֣ר נָֽחַת׃ {פ}
Shall it go down with me to the gates of Sheol, or descend together into the dust?”
等到安息在塵土中， 這指望必下到陰間的門閂那裏了。
