ℹ️ This corpus has no verse-level morphological tagging. Lemmas come mainly from word-level tagging of other books in the same language (not from this verse), falling back to dictionary form-matching for the rest. Rare homographs can still be misread; verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.
ℹ️ The Chinese and English alongside are this site's own translation, made directly from the original text on this page (not the CUV or the WEB, which follow the Masoretic Text and a different textual tradition).

And he did what was evil in the eyes of the Lord, according to the abominations of the nations which the Lord had removed from before the sons of Israel.
And he turned back and rebuilt the high places which Hezekiah his father had pulled down; and he set up an altar to Baal and made sacred groves, as Achaab king of Israel had done, and he worshipped all the host of heaven and served them.
And he made his sons pass through fire, and practised divination and augury; and he appointed a medium and multiplied wizards, doing much evil in the eyes of the Lord so as to provoke him.
And he set the carved image of the grove in the house of which the Lord had said to David and to Solomon his son: In this house and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, I will put my name forever.
And I will not again cause the foot of Israel to move away from the land which I gave to their fathers, if only they keep all that I commanded, according to all the commandment which my servant Moses commanded them.
But they did not listen, and Manasses led them astray to do what was evil in the eyes of the Lord, beyond the nations which the Lord had destroyed from before the sons of Israel.
Because Manasses king of Judah has done these evil abominations, beyond all that the Amorite who was before him did, and has also made Judah sin with their idols,
not so—thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: Behold, I am bringing evils upon Jerusalem and upon Judah, so that both ears of everyone who hears it shall ring.
And I will stretch over Jerusalem the measuring line of Samaria and the plummet of the house of Achaab; and I will wipe Jerusalem clean as an alabaster jar is wiped clean, and it is turned upside down upon its face.
And I will thrust away the remnant of my inheritance and will deliver them into the hands of their enemies, and they shall become plunder and spoil to all their enemies;
Moreover Manasses shed very much innocent blood, until he filled Jerusalem from mouth to mouth, besides his sins with which he made Judah sin, to do what was evil in the eyes of the Lord.
And the rest of the acts of Manasses, and all that he did, and the sin which he sinned—are these not written in the book of the words of the days of the kings of Judah?
Amon was twenty-two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned two years in Jerusalem; and his mother's name was Mesollam, daughter of Arous, from Ieteba.
But all the people of the land struck down all those who had conspired against king Amon, and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his place.
