📖 This chapter exists in 3 other originals — side by side (Hebrew Old Testament, Vulgate, Ge'ez Bible)
ℹ️ This corpus has no verse-level morphological tagging. Lemmas come mainly from word-level tagging of other books in the same language (not from this verse), falling back to dictionary form-matching for the rest. Rare homographs can still be misread; verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.
ℹ️ The Chinese and English alongside are this site's own translation, made directly from the original text on this page (not the CUV or the WEB, which follow the Masoretic Text and a different textual tradition).

Hear these things, you priests, and pay attention, house of Israel, and give ear, house of the king, for the judgment is against you; for you became a snare at the lookout and like a net stretched out on Itabyrion.
And the pride of Israel shall be humbled to his face, and Israel and Ephraim shall be feeble in their iniquities, and Judah too shall be feeble with them.
And Ephraim saw his sickness, and Judah his pain; and Ephraim went to the Assyrians and sent envoys to King Iarim; but he was not able to heal you, and pain shall not cease from you.
For I am like a panther to Ephraim and like a lion to the house of Judah; and I will seize and go away, and I will carry off, and there will be no one to rescue.
