filii Aaron, ex tribu Levi, qui fuit captivus in regione Medorum, in regno Artaxerxis regis Persarum.
以利亞撒是亞倫的兒子，屬利未支派。當波斯王亞達薛西在位之時，他曾在米底亞之地被擄。
son of Aaron, of the tribe of Levi, who was a captive in the region of the Medes, in the reign of Artaxerxes, king of the Persians.
1:4
Et factum est verbum Domini ad me, dicens,
主的話臨到我，說：
And the word of the Lord came to me, saying:
1:5
Vade, et nuncia populo meo facinora ipsorum, et filiis eorum iniquitates, quas in me admiserunt, ut nuntient filiis filiorum :
你去，向我的子民宣告他們的惡行，向他們的兒女述說他們得罪我所行的罪孽，叫他們轉告子子孫孫：
Go, and declare to my people their evil deeds, and to their children the iniquities which they have committed against me, that they may report them to their children's children;
1:6
quia peccata parentum ipsorum in illis creverunt. Obliti enim ei sacrificaverunt diis alienis.
因為他們先祖的罪在他們裡面滋長。他們竟忘記我，向別神獻祭。
for the sins of their parents have grown up within them. For they have forgotten me and sacrificed to strange gods.
1:7
Nonne ego eduxi eos de terra Ægypti de domo servitutis ? Ipsi autem irritaverunt me, et consilia mea spreverunt.
我豈不是領他們出了埃及地、脫離為奴之家嗎？他們卻惹我發怒，藐視我的籌算。
Did I not bring them out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage? Yet they provoked me and despised my counsels.
1:8
Tu autem excute comam capitis tui, et projice omnia mala super illos : quoniam non obedierunt legi meæ. Populus autem est indisciplinatus.
你卻要抖落你頭上的頭髮，把一切災禍傾倒在他們身上；因為他們不順從我的律法。這是一個不受管教的子民。
But you, shake out the hair of your head, and cast all evils upon them; for they have not obeyed my law. They are an undisciplined people.
1:9
Usquequo eos sustinebo, quibus tanta beneficia contuli ?
我向他們施了這樣大的恩惠，還要忍耐他們到幾時呢？
How long shall I endure them, on whom I have bestowed such great benefits?
1:10
Reges multos propter eos subverti. Pharaonem cum pueris suis, et omnem exercitum ejus percussi.
為他們的緣故，我傾覆了許多君王。我擊殺了法老和他的臣僕，以及他全軍。
For their sake I overthrew many kings. I struck down Pharaoh with his servants, and all his army.
1:11
Omnes gentes a facie eorum perdidi, et in Oriente provinciarum duarum populos Tyri et Sidonis dissipavi, et omnes adversarios eorum interfeci.
我在他們面前滅絕了萬民，又在東方驅散了泰爾與西頓兩省的眾民，並殺盡了他們一切的仇敵。
I destroyed all the nations before their face, and in the east I scattered the peoples of two provinces, Tyre and Sidon, and I slew all their adversaries.
1:12
Tu vero loquere ad eos, dicens : Hæc dicit Dominus.
你卻要向他們說：主如此說。
But you, speak to them, saying: Thus says the Lord.
1:13
Nempe ego vos per mare transmeavi, et plateas vobis initio munitas exhibui. Ducem vobis dedi Moysen, et Aaron sacerdotem :
我確曾領你們經過海，起初為你們開闢了穩固的道路。我賜給你們摩西作首領，亞倫作祭司；
Indeed I led you through the sea, and at the beginning I made for you fortified paths. I gave you Moses for a leader, and Aaron for a priest;
1:14
lucem vobis per columnam ignis præstiti, et magna mirabilia feci in vobis : vos autem mei obliti estis, dicit Dominus.
我藉著火柱賜光照你們，又在你們中間行了大奇事；你們卻把我忘了，這是主說的。
I gave you light by a pillar of fire, and I did great wonders among you; yet you have forgotten me, says the Lord.
1:15
Hæc dicit Dominus omnipotens : Coturnix vobis in signo fuit, castra vobis ad tutelam dedi, et illic murmurastis :
全能的主如此說：鵪鶉曾作你們的記號；我又賜營寨保護你們，你們卻在那裡發怨言；
Thus says the Lord Almighty: The quail was a sign to you; I gave you a camp for your protection, and there you murmured;
1:16
et non triumphastis in nomine meo de perditione inimicorum vestrorum, sed adhuc nunc usque murmurastis.
你們未曾因仇敵的滅亡奉我的名誇勝，反倒一直怨言至今。
and you did not triumph in my name over the destruction of your enemies, but even to this present hour you have murmured.
1:17
Ubi sunt beneficia, quæ præstiti vobis ? Nonne in deserto cum esuriretis, proclamastis ad me,
我所施給你們的恩惠在哪裡呢？你們在曠野飢餓的時候，豈不曾向我哀求，
Where are the benefits which I bestowed upon you? When you were hungry in the wilderness, did you not cry out to me,
1:18
dicentes, Ut quid nos in desertum istud adduxisti interficere nos ? melius nobis fuerat servire Ægyptiis, quam mori in deserto hoc.
說：你為何領我們到這曠野來殺害我們呢？我們服事埃及人，倒比死在這曠野更好。
saying: Why have you brought us into this wilderness to kill us? It would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in this wilderness.
1:19
Ego dolui gemitus vestros, et dedi vobis manna in escam. Panem angelorum manducastis.
我為你們的歎息憂傷，賜給你們嗎哪作食物。你們所喫的乃是天使的糧。
I grieved over your groanings, and gave you manna for food. You ate the bread of angels.
1:20
Nonne cum sitiretis, petram excidi, et fluxerunt aquæ in saturitate ? propter æstus foliis arborum vos texi.
你們口渴的時候，我豈不曾剖開磐石，使水湧流到你們飽足嗎？因炎熱，我用樹葉遮蔽你們。
When you were thirsty, did I not split the rock, and waters flowed to your fill? Because of the heat I sheltered you with the leaves of the trees.
1:21
Divisi vobis terras pingues : Chananæos, et Pherezæos, et Philisthæos, a facie vestra projeci : quid faciam vobis adhuc : dicit Dominus ?
我把肥沃之地分給你們；我把迦南人、比利洗人和非利士人從你們面前趕出去。我還要為你們作甚麼呢？這是主說的。
I divided fertile lands among you; the Canaanites, the Perizzites, and the Philistines I cast out from before you. What more shall I do for you? says the Lord.
1:22
Hæc dicit Dominus omnipotens. In deserto cum essetis in flumine Amorrhæo sitientes, et blasphemantes nomen meum,
全能的主如此說：你們在曠野，於亞摩利人的河邊口渴難耐，褻瀆我的名的時候，
Thus says the Lord Almighty: When you were in the wilderness, thirsting at the river of the Amorites, and blaspheming my name,
1:23
non ignem vobis pro blasphemiis dedi, sed mittens lignum in aquam, dulce feci flumen.
我並未因你們的褻瀆降火懲罰你們，反而把樹投入水中，使那河水變甜。
I did not give you fire for your blasphemies, but by casting a tree into the water I made the river sweet.
1:24
Quid tibi faciam Jacob ? Noluisti obedire Juda. Transferam me ad alias gentes, et dabo eis nomen meum, ut custodiant legitima mea.
雅各啊，我要為你作甚麼呢？猶大啊，你不肯順從。我要轉向別的民族，把我的名賜給他們，叫他們謹守我的律例。
What shall I do for you, O Jacob? You, O Judah, would not obey. I will turn myself to other nations, and give them my name, that they may keep my ordinances.
1:25
Quoniam me dereliquistis, et ego vos derelinquam. Petentibus vobis a me misericordiam, non miserebor.
因你們離棄了我，我也要離棄你們。你們向我求憐憫，我必不憐憫。
Because you have forsaken me, I also will forsake you. When you ask mercy of me, I will show no mercy.
1:26
Quando invocabitis me, ego non exaudiam vos. Maculastis enim manus vestras sanguine, et pedes vestri impigri sunt ad committenda homicidia.
你們呼求我，我必不應允；因為你們的手沾滿了血，你們的腳飛奔去行兇殺人。
When you call upon me, I will not hear you; for you have stained your hands with blood, and your feet are swift to commit murders.
1:27
Non quasi me dereliquistis, sed vosipsos, dicit Dominus.
你們不算是離棄了我，乃是離棄了你們自己，這是主說的。
It is not as though you had forsaken me, but you have forsaken yourselves, says the Lord.
1:28
Hæc dicit Dominus omnipotens, Nonne ego vos rogavi, ut pater filios, et ut mater filias, et ut nutrix parvulos suos,
全能的主如此說：我豈不曾懇求你們，如同父親待兒女，如同母親待女兒，如同乳母待嬰孩，
Thus says the Lord Almighty: Did I not entreat you, as a father his sons, and as a mother her daughters, and as a nurse her little ones,
1:29
ut essetis mihi in populum, et ego vobis in Deum, et vos mihi in filios, et ego vobis in patrem ?
使你們作我的子民，我作你們的神；你們作我的兒女，我作你們的父親嗎？
that you should be a people to me, and I a God to you; and you sons to me, and I a father to you?
1:30
Ita vos collegi, ut gallina pullos suos sub alas suas. Modo autem quid faciam vobis ? Projiciam vos a facie mea.
我這樣聚集你們，如同母雞把雛雞聚在翅膀底下。現在我卻要怎樣待你們呢？我要把你們從我面前趕出去。
So I gathered you, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings. But now, what shall I do to you? I will cast you out from my presence.
1:31
Oblationem cum mihi attuleritis, avertam faciem meam a vobis. Dies enim festos vestros, et neomenias et circumcisiones repudiavi.
你們獻供物給我的時候，我必轉臉不顧你們；因為我已厭棄你們的節期、月朔和割禮。
When you bring me an offering, I will turn my face away from you; for I have rejected your festal days, your new moons, and your circumcisions.
1:32
Ego misi pueros meos, prophetas ad vos, quos acceptos interfecistis, et laniastis corpora eorum, quorum sanguinem exquiram, dicit Dominus.
我差遣我的僕人眾先知到你們那裡，你們竟拿住他們殺了，撕裂了他們的身體。他們的血，我必追討，這是主說的。
I sent my servants the prophets to you, whom you took and killed, and tore their bodies in pieces, whose blood I will require, says the Lord.
1:33
Hæc dicit Dominus omnipotens, Domus vestra deserta est : Projiciam vos sicut ventus stipulam,
全能的主如此說：你們的家已成荒場；我要把你們驅散，如風吹散碎稭，
Thus says the Lord Almighty: Your house is left desolate; I will cast you out as the wind casts the stubble,
1:34
et filii procreationem non facient : quoniam mandatum meum neglexerunt, et quod malum est coram me, fecerunt.
你們的兒女必不能生養後裔；因為他們忽略了我的誡命，行了我眼中看為惡的事。
and your sons shall not beget offspring; for they have neglected my commandment, and have done what is evil before me.
1:35
Tradam domos vestras populo venienti, qui me non audientes credunt : quibus signa non ostendi, facient quæ præcepi.
我要把你們的家業賜給將要來的子民，他們雖未曾聽見我，卻信靠我；我雖未向他們顯過神蹟，他們卻必遵行我所吩咐的。
I will give your houses to a people that is coming, who though they have not heard me, yet believe; though I showed them no signs, they will do what I have commanded.
1:36
Prophetas non viderunt, et memorabuntur iniquitatum eorum.
他們未曾見過眾先知，卻必記念眾先知的話而離棄自己的罪孽。
They have not seen the prophets, yet they will remember their iniquities.
1:37
Testor populi venientis gratiam, cujus parvuli exultant cum lætitia, me non videntes oculis carnalibus, sed spiritu credentes quæ dixi.
我為那將要來之民的恩典作見證，他們的孩童歡喜快樂，雖不能用肉眼見我，卻憑心靈信我所說的話。
I bear witness to the grace of the coming people, whose little ones rejoice with gladness, not seeing me with bodily eyes, but believing in spirit what I have spoken.
1:38
Et nunc frater aspice, quæ gloria : et vide populum venientem ab oriente,
弟兄啊，現在你看那是何等的榮耀；看那從東方而來的子民，
And now, brother, behold what glory; and see the people coming from the east,
1:39
quibus dabo ducatum Abraham, Isaac, et Jacob, et Osee, et Amos, et Michææ, et Joël, et Abdiæ, et Jonæ,
我要把亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各的引導交給他們，又有何西阿、阿摩司、彌迦、約珥、俄巴底亞、約拿，
to whom I will give the leadership of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and of Hosea, and Amos, and Micah, and Joel, and Obadiah, and Jonah,
1:40
et Nahum, et Habacuc, Sophoniæ, Aggæi, Zachariæ, et Malachiæ, qui et angelus Domini vocatus est.
並有那鴻、哈巴谷、西番雅、哈該、撒迦利亞和瑪拉基，瑪拉基也稱為主的使者。
and Nahum, and Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah, and Malachi, who is also called the angel of the Lord.
