4:1
ከመዝኬ የኀሊ ሰብእ በእንቲአነ ከመ አግብርተ ክርስቶስ ንሕነ ወከመ መገብተ ሥርዐቱ ለእግዚአብሔር ።
So let a man think of us as Christ’s servants and stewards of God’s mysteries.
人應當以我們為基督的執事，為上帝奧祕事的管家。
4:2
ወበዝየ እንከ ይትፈቀድ ከመ ይትረከብ ኄር ወምእመን እመገብት ።
Here, moreover, it is required of stewards that they be found faithful.
所求於管家的，是要他有忠心。
4:3
ወሊተሰ ኀሣር ውእቱ ወተመንኖ በኀቤክሙ ለእመ ታጸድቁኒ ወለእመኒ ተአኵቱኒ ከመ ኄር በኀበ ሰብእ መዋቲ ወለልየ ኢይፈትሕ ለርእስየ ።
But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you, or by a human court. Yes, I don’t even judge my own self.
我被你們論斷，或被別人論斷，我都以為極小的事；連我自己也不論斷自己。
4:4
ወአልቦ ዘያርሰሐስሐኒ ወኢዘይትዐወቀኒ ወበዝየኒ ኢያጸድቅ ርእስየ እስመ እግዚአብሔር የሐትተኒ ።
For I know nothing against myself. Yet I am not justified by this, but he who judges me is the Lord.
我雖不覺得自己有錯，卻也不能因此得以稱義；但判斷我的乃是主。
4:5
ወለምንትኑ ተሐትቱ ይእዜ ለኄርኒ ፥ ወለጻድቅኒ ዘእንበለ ይብጻሕ ጊዜሁ እስመ ይመጽእ እግዚእነ ዘያበርህ ኅቡኣተ ዘውስተ ጽልመት ወይከሥት ኅሊናተ ልብ ውእተ አሚረ ይነሥእ ኵሉ ዕሴቶ እምኀበ እግዚአብሔር ።
Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each man will get his praise from God.
所以，時候未到，甚麼都不要論斷，只等主來，他要照出暗中的隱情，顯明人心的意念。那時，各人要從上帝那裏得着稱讚。
4:6
ወዘኒ ሕማመ ነሣእነ አነሂ ወአጵሎስሂ በእንቲኣክሙ አኀዊነ ከመ ትትመሀሩ አንትሙሂ ወኢትፃኡ እምቃለ መጻሕፍት ከመ ኢትትዐበዩ ላዕለ ቢጽክሙ ።
Now these things, brothers, I have in a figure transferred to myself and Apollos for your sakes, that in us you might learn not to think beyond the things which are written, that none of you be puffed up against one another.
弟兄們，我為你們的緣故，拿這些事轉比自己和亞波羅，叫你們效法我們不可過於聖經所記，免得你們自高自大，貴重這個，輕看那個。
4:7
መኑ የሐትተከ ወምንተ ኮንከ ዘትዜኀር ወትትዔበይ ብከኑ ዘኢነሣእከ እምካልእከ ወእመ ዘብከ ነሣእከ እምካልእከ ለምንትኑ ትዜኀር ወትትዔበይ ከመ ዘኢነሥአ ።
For who makes you different? And what do you have that you didn’t receive? But if you did receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?
使你與人不同的是誰呢？你有甚麼不是領受的呢？若是領受的，為何自誇，彷彿不是領受的呢？
4:8
ወናሁ ጸገብክሙ ወብዕልክሙ ወነገሥክሙ ዘእንበሌነ ወርቱዕሰ ንሕነኒ ንንግሥ ምስሌክሙ እመ መለክሙ ወነገሥክሙ ።
You are already filled. You have already become rich. You have come to reign without us. Yes, and I wish that you did reign, that we also might reign with you!
你們已經飽足了！已經豐富了！不用我們，自己就作王了！我願意你們果真作王，叫我們也得與你們一同作王。
4:9
ወይመስለኒሰ ከመ ረሰየነ እግዚአብሔር ለሐዋርያቲሁ ደኀርተ ከመ ዘድልዋን ለሞት እስመ ሥላቀ ኮነ ለዓለም ለሰብእ ወለመላእክትኒ ።
For I think that God has displayed us, the apostles, last of all, like men sentenced to death. For we are made a spectacle to the world, both to angels and men.
我想上帝把我們使徒明明列在末後，好像定死罪的囚犯；因為我們成了一臺戲，給世人和天使觀看。
4:10
ንሕነሰ አብዳን በእንተ ክርስቶስ ወአንትሙሰ ጠቢባን በክርስቶስ ወንሕነሰ ድኩማን ወአንትሙሰ ጽኑዓን ወአንትሙሰ ክቡራን ወንሕነሰ ትሑታን ።
We are fools for Christ’s sake, but you are wise in Christ. We are weak, but you are strong. You have honor, but we have dishonor.
我們為基督的緣故算是愚拙的，你們在基督裏倒是聰明的；我們軟弱，你們倒強壯；你們有榮耀，我們倒被藐視。
4:11
እስከ ዛቲ ዕለት ንሕነሰ ርኁባን ወጽሙኣን ወዕሩቃን ወፈላስያን ወአልብነ መካን ወንትኰራዕ ።
Even to this present hour we hunger, thirst, are naked, are beaten, and have no certain dwelling place.
直到如今，我們還是又飢又渴，又赤身露體，又挨打，又沒有一定的住處，
4:12
ወንሰርሕ እንዘ ንትቀነይ በግብረ እደዊነ ይረግሙነ ወንሕነ ንድኅሮሙ ይሰድዱነ ወንሕነ ንባርኮሙ ወንትዔገሦሙ ።
We toil, working with our own hands. When people curse us, we bless. Being persecuted, we endure.
並且勞苦，親手做工。被人咒罵，我們就祝福；被人逼迫，我們就忍受；
4:13
ይፀርፉ ላዕሌነ ወናስተበቍዖሙ ወከመ ኳሄላ ኮነ ውስተ ዓለም ወምኑናነ በኀበ ኵሉ ።
Being defamed, we entreat. We are made as the filth of the world, the dirt wiped off by all, even until now.
被人毀謗，我們就善勸。直到如今，人還把我們看作世界上的污穢，萬物中的渣滓。
4:14
ወአኮ ዘጸሐፍኩ ለክሙ ዘንተ ከመ እዛለፍክሙ ዳእሙ ከመ እገሥጽክሙ ወእምሀርክሙ ከመ ውሉድየ ወፍቁራንየ ወቤዛክሙ አነ ለኵልክሙ ወኢኀፈርክሙኒ ።
I don’t write these things to shame you, but to admonish you as my beloved children.
我寫這話，不是叫你們羞愧，乃是警戒你們，好像我所親愛的兒女一樣。
4:15
ወእመኒ አእላፍ አምህርት ወመሃርያን ብክሙ በክርስቶስ አበዊክሙሰ ኢኮኑ ብዙኃነ እስመ አነ ወለድኩክሙ በትምህርተ ክርስቶስ ኢየሱስ ።
For though you have ten thousand tutors in Christ, you don’t have many fathers. For in Christ Jesus, I became your father through the Good News.
你們學基督的，師傅雖有一萬，為父的卻是不多，因我在基督耶穌裏用福音生了你們。
4:16
አስተበቍዐክሙ አኀዊነ ኪያየ ተመሰሉ ።
I beg you therefore, be imitators of me.
所以，我求你們效法我。
4:17
ወበእንተዝ ፈነውክዎ ለክሙ ለጢሞቴዎስ ዘውእቱ ወልድየ ወፍቁርየ ምእመን በእግዚአብሔር ያዘክርክሙ ፍናውየ በክርስቶስ ኢየሱስ በከመ መሀርኩ በኵለሄ ወበኵሉ አብያተ ክርስቲያናት ።
Because of this I have sent Timothy to you, who is my beloved and faithful child in the Lord, who will remind you of my ways which are in Christ, even as I teach everywhere in every assembly.
因此我已打發提摩太到你們那裏去。他在主裏面，是我所親愛、有忠心的兒子。他必提醒你們，記念我在基督裏怎樣行事，在各處各教會中怎樣教導人。
4:18
ወናሁ ሀለዉ እለ ተዐበዩ እምኔክሙ በእንተ ዘኢመጻእኩ ኀቤክሙ ።
Now some are puffed up, as though I were not coming to you.
有些人自高自大，以為我不到你們那裏去；
4:19
እመጽእኬ እንከ ፍጡነ እመ ፈቀደ እግዚአብሔር ወኢየኀሥሥ ነገረ ዕቡያን ዳእሙ አኀሥሥ ኀይሎሙ ።
But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord is willing. And I will know, not the word of those who are puffed up, but the power.
然而，主若許我，我必快到你們那裏去，並且我所要知道的，不是那些自高自大之人的言語，乃是他們的權能。
4:20
እስመ ኢኮነ መንግሥተ እግዚአብሔር በነገር ዘእንበለ በኀይል ።
For God’s Kingdom is not in word, but in power.
因為上帝的國不在乎言語，乃在乎權能。
4:21
እፎኑ ትፈቅዱ እምጻእ ኀቤክሙ በበትርኑ ወሚመ በተፋቅሮ ወበየውሃተ ልብ ።
What do you want? Shall I come to you with a rod, or in love and a spirit of gentleness?
你們願意怎麼樣呢？是願意我帶着刑杖到你們那裏去呢？還是要我存慈愛溫柔的心呢？
