1:1
ወዳዊትሰ፡ ንጉሥ፡ ልህቀ፡ ወኀለፈ፡ መዋዕሊሁ፡ ወይከድንዎ፡ አልባሰ፡ ወኢያመውቆ።
Now King David was old and advanced in years; and they covered him with clothes, but he couldn’t keep warm.
大衛王年紀老邁，雖用被遮蓋，仍不覺暖。
1:2
ወይቤሉ፡ ደቁ፡ ለዳዊት፡ ይኅሥሡ፡ ለእግዚእነ፡ ለንጉሥ፡ ወለተ፡ ድንግለ፡ ወያምጽእዋ፡ ኀበ፡ ንጉሥ፡ ወትሰክብ፡ ምስሌሁ፡ ወተሐቅፎ፡ ወታስተማውቆ፡ ወይመውቅ፡ እግዚእነ፡ ንጉሥ።
Therefore his servants said to him, “Let a young virgin be sought for my lord the king. Let her stand before the king, and cherish him; and let her lie in your bosom, that my lord the king may keep warm.”
所以臣僕對他說：「不如為我主我王尋找一個處女，使她伺候王，奉養王，睡在王的懷中，好叫我主我王得暖。」
1:3
ወኀሠሡ፡ ወለተ፡ ሠናይተ፡ እምነ፡ ኵሉ፡ ደወለ፡ እስራኤል፡ ወረከቡ፡ አቢሳሃ፡ ሰሜናዊት፡ ወወሰድዋ፡ ኀበ፡ ንጉሥ።
So they sought for a beautiful young lady throughout all the borders of Israel, and found Abishag the Shunammite, and brought her to the king.
於是在以色列全境尋找美貌的童女，尋得書念的一個童女亞比煞，就帶到王那裏。
1:4
ወነበረት፡ ትትለአኮ፡ ወንጉሥሰ፡ ኢያእመራ።
The young lady was very beautiful; and she cherished the king, and served him; but the king didn’t know her intimately.
這童女極其美貌，她奉養王，伺候王，王卻沒有與她親近。
1:5
ወአዶንያስ፡ ወልደ፡ አጊት፡ ተንሥአ፡ ወይቤ፡ አነ፡ እነግሥ፡ ወገብረ፡ ሎቱ፡ ሰረገላተ፡ ወአፍራሰ፡ ወ፡ ፶ብእሴ፡ እለ፡ ይረውጹ፡ ቅድሜሁ።
Then Adonijah the son of Haggith exalted himself, saying, “I will be king.” Then he prepared him chariots and horsemen, and fifty men to run before him.
那時，哈及的兒子亞多尼雅自尊，說：「我必作王」，就為自己預備車輛、馬兵，又派五十人在他前頭奔走。
1:6
ወግሙራ፡ ኢከልኦ፡ ኦቡሁ፡ ወኢይቤሎ፡ ለምንት፡ ትገብር፡ ከመዝ፡ ወሠናይ፡ ውእቱ፡ ወላሕይ፡ ንጹ፡ ፈድፋደ፡ ወኪያሁ፡ ወለደ፡ እምድኅረ፡ አቤሴሎም።
His father had not displeased him at any time in saying, “Why have you done so?” and he was also a very handsome man; and he was born after Absalom.
他父親素來沒有使他憂悶，說：「你是做甚麼呢？」他甚俊美，生在押沙龍之後。
1:7
ወኵሉ፡ ምክሩ፡ ምስለ፡ ኢዮአብ፡ ወልደ፡ ሶርህያ፡ ወምስለ፡ አብያታር፡ ካህን፡ ወተለውዎ፡ ለአዶንያስ፡ ወረድእዎ።
He conferred with Joab the son of Zeruiah and with Abiathar the priest; and they followed Adonijah and helped him.
亞多尼雅與洗魯雅的兒子約押，和祭司亞比亞他商議；二人就順從他，幫助他。
1:8
ወሳዶቅ፡ ካህን፡ ወብንያስ፡ ወልደ፡ ዮዳሔ፡ ወዮናታን፡ ነቢይ፡ ወሳሚ፡ ወሬሲ፡ ደቂቀ፡ ኀይሉ፡ ለዳዊት፡ ኢተለውዎ፡ ለኦዶንያስ።
But Zadok the priest, Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, Nathan the prophet, Shimei, Rei, and the mighty men who belonged to David, were not with Adonijah.
但祭司撒督、耶何耶大的兒子比拿雅、先知拿單、示每、利以，並大衛的勇士都不順從亞多尼雅。
1:9
ወጠብሐ፡ ኦዶንያስ፡ አበግዐ፡ ወአጣሌ፡ ወአልህምተ፡ በኀበ፡ ኤቲ፡ ዘዝኤልቲ፡ ዘእምእኃዘ፡ ምድረ፡ ሮጌል፡ ወጸውዐ፡ ኵሎ፡ አኀዊሁ፡ ደቂቀ፡ ንጉሥ፡ ወኵሎ፡ ጽኑዓነ፡ ይሁዳ፡ ደቂቀ፡ ንጉሥ ፤
Adonijah killed sheep, cattle, and fatlings by the stone of Zoheleth, which is beside En Rogel; and he called all his brothers, the king’s sons, and all the men of Judah, the king’s servants;
一日，亞多尼雅在隱‧羅結旁、瑣希列磐石那裏宰了牛羊、肥犢，請他的諸弟兄，就是王的眾子，並所有作王臣僕的猶大人；
1:10
ወናታንሃ፡ ነቢይ፡ ወብንያስ፡ ወጽኑዓኒሆሙ፡ ወሰሎሞንሃ፡ እኁሁ፡ ኢጸውዖሙ።
but he didn’t call Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah, and the mighty men, and Solomon his brother.
惟獨先知拿單和比拿雅並勇士，與他的兄弟所羅門，他都沒有請。
1:11
ወይቤላ፡ ናታን፡ ለቤርሳቤሕ፡ እሙ፡ ለሰሎሞን፡ እንዘ፡ ይብል፡ ኢሰማዕሊኑ፡ ከመ፡ ነግሠ፡ አዶንያስ፡ ወልደ፡ አጊት፡ ወእግዚእነሰ፡ ዳዊት፡ ኢያእመረ።
Then Nathan spoke to Bathsheba the mother of Solomon, saying, “Haven’t you heard that Adonijah the son of Haggith reigns, and David our lord doesn’t know it?
拿單對所羅門的母親拔示巴說：「哈及的兒子亞多尼雅作王了，你沒有聽見嗎？我們的主大衛卻不知道。
1:12
ወይእዜኒ፡ ንዒ፡ ኣምክርኪ፡ ምክረ፡ ወታድኅኒ፡ ነፍሰሊ፡ ወነፍሰ፡ ሰሎሞን፡ ወልድኪ።
Now therefore come, please let me give you counsel, that you may save your own life and your son Solomon’s life.
現在我可以給你出個主意，好保全你和你兒子所羅門的性命。
1:13
ንዒ፡ ሖሪ፡ ኀበ፡ ዳዊት፡ ንጉሥ፡ ወትብልዮ፡ አንተ፡ እግዚእየ፡ መሐልከ፡ ለአመትከ፡ እንዘ፡ ትብል፡ ወልድኪ፡ ሰሎሞን፡ ይነግሥ፡ እምድኅሬየ፡ ወውእቱ፡ ይነብር፡ ዲበ፡ መንበርየ፡ ወእፎ፡ ከመ፡ ነግሠ፡ አዶንያስ።
Go in to King David, and tell him, ‘Didn’t you, my lord the king, swear to your servant, saying, “Assuredly Solomon your son shall reign after me, and he shall sit on my throne”? Why then does Adonijah reign?’
你進去見大衛王，對他說：『我主我王啊，你不曾向婢女起誓說：你兒子所羅門必接續我作王，坐在我的位上嗎？現在亞多尼雅怎麼作了王呢？』
1:14
ወእንዘ፡ አንቲ፡ ትትናገሪ፡ ምስለ፡ ንጉሥ፡ በህየ፡ እበውእ፡ አነሂ፡ እተልወኪ፡ ወእፌጽም፡ ነገርኪ።
Behold, while you are still talking there with the king, I will also come in after you and confirm your words.”
你還與王說話的時候，我也隨後進去，證實你的話。」
1:15
ወቦአት፡ ቤርሳቤሕ፡ ኀበ፡ ንጉሥ፡ ውስተ፡ ጽርሕ፡ ወንጉሥሰ፡ ልህቀ፡ ጥቀ፡ ወአቢሳ፡ ሰሜናዊት፡ ትትለአኮ፡ ለንጉሥ።
Bathsheba went in to the king in his room. The king was very old; and Abishag the Shunammite was serving the king.
拔示巴進入內室見王，王甚老邁，書念的童女亞比煞正伺候王。
1:16
ወደነነት፡ ቤርሳቤሕ፡ ወሰገደት፡ ለንጉሥ፡ ወይቤላ፡ ንጉሥ፡ ምንተ፡ ኮንኪ።
Bathsheba bowed and showed respect to the king. The king said, “What would you like?”
拔示巴向王屈身下拜；王說：「你要甚麼？」
1:17
ወትቤሎ፡ እግዚእየ፡ ንጉሥ፡ አንተ፡ መሐልከ፡ በአምላክከ፡ ለአመትከ፡ እንዘ፡ ትብል፡ ከመ፡ ወልድኪ፡ ሰሎሞን፡ ይነግሥ፡ እምድኅሬየ፡ ወውእቱ፡ ይነብር፡ ዲበ፡ መንበርየ።
She said to him, “My lord, you swore by Yahweh your God to your servant, ‘Assuredly Solomon your son shall reign after me, and he shall sit on my throne.’
她說：「我主啊，你曾向婢女指着耶和華－你的上帝起誓說：『你兒子所羅門必接續我作王，坐在我的位上。』
1:18
ወናሁ፡ ይእዜ፡ ነግሠ፡ አዶንያስ፡ ወአንተ፡ እግዚእየ፡ ንጉሥ፡ ኢያእመርከ።
Now, behold, Adonijah reigns; and you, my lord the king, don’t know it.
現在亞多尼雅作王了，我主我王卻不知道。
1:19
ወጠብሐ፡ አልህምተ፡ ወአባግዐ፡ ወአጣሌ፡ ብዙኀ፡ ወጸውዐ፡ ኵሎ፡ ደቂቀ፡ ንጉሥ፡ ወአብያታር፡ ካህን፡ ወኢዮአብ፡ መልአከ፡ ኀይል ፤ ወሰሎሞንሂ፡ ገብርከ፡ ኢጸውዐ።
He has slain cattle and fatlings and sheep in abundance, and has called all the sons of the king, Abiathar the priest, and Joab the captain of the army; but he hasn’t called Solomon your servant.
他宰了許多牛羊、肥犢，請了王的眾子和祭司亞比亞他，並元帥約押；惟獨王的僕人所羅門，他沒有請。
1:20
ወኪያከ፡ እግዚእየ፡ ንጉሥ፡ አዕይንተ፡ ኵሉ፡ እስራኤል፡ ይሴፈዋከ፡ ታይድዖሙ፡ መኑ፡ ይነብር፡ ውስተ፡ መንበርከ፡ እግዚእየ፡ ንጉሥ፡ እምድኅሬከ።
You, my lord the king, the eyes of all Israel are on you, that you should tell them who will sit on the throne of my lord the king after him.
我主我王啊，以色列眾人的眼目都仰望你，等你曉諭他們，在我主我王之後誰坐你的位。
1:21
ወእምከመ፡ ሰከበ፡ እግዚእየ፡ ንጉሥ፡ ምስለ፡ አበዊሁ፡ ወንከውን፡ አነ፡ ወወልድየ፡ ሰሎሞን፡ ኃጥኣነ።
Otherwise it will happen, when my lord the king sleeps with his fathers, that I and my son Solomon will be considered criminals.”
若不然，到我主我王與列祖同睡以後，我和我兒子所羅門必算為罪人了。」
1:22
ወእንዘ፡ ዓዲ፡ ትትናገር፡ ይእቲ፡ ምስለ፡ ንጉሥ፡ ወቦአ፡ ናታን፡ ነቢይ፡ ቅድመ፡ ንጉሥ፡
Behold, while she was still talking with the king, Nathan the prophet came in.
拔示巴還與王說話的時候，先知拿單也進來了。
1:23
ወሰገደ፡ ለንጉሥ፡ በገጹ፡ ውስተ፡ ምድር።
They told the king, saying, “Behold, Nathan the prophet!” When he had come in before the king, he bowed himself before the king with his face to the ground.
有人奏告王說：「先知拿單來了。」拿單進到王前，臉伏於地。
1:24
ወይቤሎ፡ ናታን፡ ነቢይ፡ እግዚእየ፡ ንጉሥ፡ አንተኑ፡ ትቤ፡ አዶንያስ፡ ይነግሥ፡ እምድኅሬየ፡ ወውእቱ፡ ይነብር፡ ውስተ፡ መንበርየ።
Nathan said, “My lord, King, have you said, ‘Adonijah shall reign after me, and he shall sit on my throne’?
拿單說：「我主我王果然應許亞多尼雅說『你必接續我作王，坐在我的位上』嗎？
1:25
እስመ፡ ወረደ፡ ዮም፡ ወሦዐ፡ አልህምተ፡ ወአባግዐ፡ ወአጣሌ፡ ብዙኀ፡ ወጸውዖሙ፡ ለኵሎሙ፡ ደቂቀ፡ ንጉሥ፡ ወመላእክተ፡ ኀይል፡ ወአብያታር፡ ካህን፡ ወሀለዉ፡ ይበልዑ፡ ወይሰትዩ፡ በቅድሜሁ፡ ወይቤልዎ፡ ሕያው፡ አበ፡ ነጋሢ፡ አዶንያስ።
For he has gone down today, and has slain cattle, fatlings, and sheep in abundance, and has called all the king’s sons, the captains of the army, and Abiathar the priest. Behold, they are eating and drinking before him, and saying, ‘Long live King Adonijah!’
他今日下去，宰了許多牛羊、肥犢，請了王的眾子和軍長，並祭司亞比亞他；他們正在亞多尼雅面前吃喝，說：『願亞多尼雅王萬歲！』
1:26
ወኪያየሰ፡ ገብርከ፡ ወሳዶቅሃ፡ ካህን፡ ወብንያስሃ፡ ወልደ፡ ዮዳሔ፡ ወሰሎሞንሃ፡ ገብርከ፡ ኢጸውዐ።
But he hasn’t called me, even me your servant, Zadok the priest, Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and your servant Solomon.
惟獨我，就是你的僕人和祭司撒督，耶何耶大的兒子比拿雅，並王的僕人所羅門，他都沒有請。
1:27
ለእመ፡ እምኀበ፡ እግዚእየ፡ ንጉሥ፡ ኮነ፡ ዝንቱ፡ ነገር፡ ወኢነገርኮ፡ ለገብርከ፡ መኑ፡ ይነብር፡ ውስተ፡ መንበርከ፡ አግዚእየ፡ ንጉሥ፡ እምድኅሬሁ።
Was this thing done by my lord the king, and you haven’t shown to your servants who should sit on the throne of my lord the king after him?”
這事果然出乎我主我王嗎？王卻沒有告訴僕人們，在我主我王之後誰坐你的位。」
1:28
ወአውሥአ፡ ዳዊት፡ ወይቤ፡ ንጉሥ፡ ጸውዕዋ፡ ለቤርሳቤሕ፡ ወቦአት፡ ቅድመ፡ ንጉሥ፡ ወቆመት፡ ቅድሜሁ።
Then King David answered, “Call Bathsheba in to me.” She came into the king’s presence and stood before the king.
大衛王吩咐說：「叫拔示巴來。」拔示巴就進來，站在王面前。
1:29
ወመሐለ፡ ንጉሥ፡ ወይቤ፡ ሕያው፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ዘቤዘዋ፡ ለነፍስየ፡ እምነ፡ ኵሉ፡ ምንዳቤ ፤
The king vowed and said, “As Yahweh lives, who has redeemed my soul out of all adversity,
王起誓說：「我指着救我性命脫離一切苦難、永生的耶和華起誓。
1:30
ከመ፡ በከመ፡ መሐልኩ፡ ለኪ፡ በእግዚአብሔር፡ አምላከ፡ እስራኤል፡ እንዘ፡ እብል፡ ከመ፡ ሰሎሞን፡ ወልድኪ፡ ይነግሥ፡ እምድኅሬየ፡ ወውእቱ፡ ይነብር፡ ውስተ፡ መንበርየ፡ ህየንቴየ፡ ከመ፡ ከማሁ፡ እገብር፡ ዮም፡ በዛቲ፡ ዕለት።
most certainly as I swore to you by Yahweh, the God of Israel, saying, ‘Assuredly Solomon your son shall reign after me, and he shall sit on my throne in my place;’ I will most certainly do this today.”
我既然指着耶和華－以色列的上帝向你起誓說：你兒子所羅門必接續我作王，坐在我的位上。我今日就必照這話而行。」
1:31
ወደነነት፡ ቤርሳቤሕ፡ በገጻ፡ ውስተ፡ ምድር፡ ወሰገደት፡ ለንጉሥ፡ ወትቤ፡ ሕያው፡ እግዚእየ፡ ንጉሥ፡ ዳዊት፡ ለዓለም።
Then Bathsheba bowed with her face to the earth and showed respect to the king, and said, “Let my lord King David live forever!”
於是，拔示巴臉伏於地，向王下拜，說：「願我主大衛王萬歲！」
1:32
ወይቤ፡ ዳዊት፡ ንጉሥ፡ ጸውዑ፡ ሊተ፡ ሳዶቅሃ፡ ካህነ፡ ወብንያስ፡ ወልደ፡ ዮዳሔ፡ ወቦኡ፡ ኀበ፡ ንጉሥ፡ ወናታን፡ ነቢይ።
King David said, “Call to me Zadok the priest, Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada.” They came before the king.
大衛王又吩咐說：「將祭司撒督、先知拿單、耶何耶大的兒子比拿雅召來！」他們就都來到王面前。
1:33
ወይቤሎሙ፡ ንጉሥ፡ ንሥኡ፡ አግብርተ፡ እግዚእክሙ፡ ምስሌክሙ፡ ወአጽዕንዎ፡ ለወልድየ፡ ሰሎሞን፡ ዲበ፡ በቅልየ፡ ወአውርድዎ፡ ውስተ፡ ግዮን።
The king said to them, “Take with you the servants of your lord, and cause Solomon my son to ride on my own mule, and bring him down to Gihon.
王對他們說：「要帶領你們主的僕人，使我兒子所羅門騎我的騾子，送他下到基訓；
1:34
ወቅብእዎ፡ በህየ፡ ሳዶቅ፡ ካህን፡ ወናታን፡ ነቢይ፡ ወአንግሥዎ፡ ላዕለ፡ እስራኤል፡ ወንፍሑ፡ ቀርነ፡ ወበሉ፡ ሕያው፡ አበ፡ ነጋሢ፡ ሰሎሞን።
Let Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet anoint him there king over Israel. Blow the trumpet, and say, ‘Long live King Solomon!’
在那裏，祭司撒督和先知拿單要膏他作以色列的王；你們也要吹角，說：『願所羅門王萬歲！』
1:35
ወዕርጉ፡ ወትልውዎ፡ ወይባእ፡ ወይንበር፡ ውስተ፡ መንበርየ፡ ወውእቱ፡ ይነግሥ፡ ህየንቴየ፡ ወአነ፡ አዘዝኩ፡ ይንግሥ፡ ላዕለ፡ እስራኤል፡ ወይሁዳ።
Then come up after him, and he shall come and sit on my throne; for he shall be king in my place. I have appointed him to be prince over Israel and over Judah.”
然後要跟隨他上來，使他坐在我的位上，接續我作王。我已立他作以色列和猶大的君。」
1:36
ወአውሥኦ፡ ብንያስ፡ ወልደ፡ ዮዳሔ፡ ለንጉሥ፡ ወይቤሎ፡ ወይኩን፡ ከማሁ፡ ምእመነ፡ ወይረሲ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ለእግዚእየ፡ ለንጉሥ።
Benaiah the son of Jehoiada answered the king, and said, “Amen. May Yahweh, the God of my lord the king, say so.
耶何耶大的兒子比拿雅對王說：「阿們！願耶和華－我主我王的上帝也這樣命定。
1:37
በከመ፡ ሀለወ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ምስለ፡ እግዚእየ፡ ንጉሥ፡ ከማሁ፡ ምስለ፡ ሰሎሞንሂ፡ የሀሉ፡ ወይዕበይ፡ መንበሩ፡ እምነ፡ መንበረ፡ እግዚእየ፡ ንጉሥ፡ ዳዊት።
As Yahweh has been with my lord the king, even so may he be with Solomon, and make his throne greater than the throne of my lord King David.”
耶和華怎樣與我主我王同在，願他照樣與所羅門同在，使他的國位比我主大衛王的國位更大。」
1:38
ወወረዱ፡ ሳዶቅ፡ ካህን፡ ወናታን፡ ነቢይ፡ ወብንያስ፡ ወልደ፡ ዮዳሔ፡ ወኬርቲ፡ ወፌልቲ፡ ወአጽዐንዎ፡ ለሰሎሞን፡ ላዕለ፡ በቅለ፡ ንጉሥ፡ ዳዊት፡ ወወሰድዎ፡ ውስተ፡ ግዮን።
So Zadok the priest, Nathan the prophet, Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and the Cherethites and the Pelethites went down and had Solomon ride on King David’s mule, and brought him to Gihon.
於是，祭司撒督、先知拿單、耶何耶大的兒子比拿雅，和基利提人、比利提人都下去使所羅門騎大衛王的騾子，將他送到基訓。
1:39
ወነሥአ፡ ሳዶቅ፡ ካህን፡ ወአምጽአ፡ ቀርነ፡ ቅብእ፡ እምነ፡ ደብተራ፡ ወቀብኦ፡ ለሰሎሞን፡ ወነፍሐ፡ ቀርነ፡ ወይቤሉ፡ ኵሉ፡ ሕዝብ፡ ሕያው፡ አበ፡ ነጋሢ፡ ሰሎሞን።
Zadok the priest took the horn of oil from the Tent, and anointed Solomon. They blew the trumpet; and all the people said, “Long live King Solomon!”
祭司撒督就從帳幕中取了盛膏油的角來，用膏膏所羅門。人就吹角，眾民都說：「願所羅門王萬歲！」
1:40
ወዐርጉ፡ ኵሉ፡ ሕዝብ፡ ወተለውዎ፡ ወዘበጡ፡ ከበሮ፡ ወመሰንቆ፡ ወተፈሥሑ፡ ዐቢየ፡ ትፍሥሕተ፡ ወደንገፀት፡ ምድር፡ እምነ፡ ቃሎሙ።
All the people came up after him, and the people piped with pipes, and rejoiced with great joy, so that the earth shook with their sound.
眾民跟隨他上來，且吹笛，大大歡呼，聲音震地。
1:41
ወሰምዐ፡ አዶንያስ፡ ወኵሎሙ፡ ኅሩያኒ[ሁ]፡ ወእሙንቱሰ፡ አኅለቁ፡ መሲሐ፡ ወሰምዐ፡ ኢዮአብ፡ ቃለ፡ ቀርን፡ ወይቤ፡ ምንት፡ ውእቱ፡ ዝንቱ፡ ድምፀ፡ ሀገር።
Adonijah and all the guests who were with him heard it as they had finished eating. When Joab heard the sound of the trumpet, he said, “Why is this noise of the city being in an uproar?”
亞多尼雅和所請的眾客筵宴方畢，聽見這聲音；約押聽見角聲就說：「城中為何有這響聲呢？」
1:42
ወእንዘ፡ ዓዲ፡ ይትናገር፡ ወናሁ፡ ዮናታን፡ ወልደ፡ አብያታር፡ ካህን፡ ቦአ፡ ወይቤሎ፡ አዶንያስ፡ ባእ፡ እስመ፡ ብእሲ፡ ኀይል፡ አንተ፡ ወሠናየ፡ ትዜኑ።
While he yet spoke, behold, Jonathan the son of Abiathar the priest came; and Adonijah said, “Come in; for you are a worthy man, and bring good news.”

ወአውሥአ፡ ዮናታን፡ ወይቤ፡ አንግሦ፡ እግዚእነ፡ ንጉሥ፡ ዳዊት፡ ለሰሎሞን።
Jonathan answered Adonijah, “Most certainly our lord King David has made Solomon king.
約拿單對亞多尼雅說：「我們的主大衛王誠然立所羅門為王了。
1:44
ወፈነወ፡ ንጉሥ፡ ምስሌሁ፡ ሳዶቅሃ፡ ካህን፡ ወናታንሃ፡ ነቢይ፡ ወብንያስ፡ ወልደ፡ ዮዳሔ፡ ወኬርቲ፡ ወፌልቲ፡ ወአጽዐንዎ፡ ዲበ፡ በቅለ፡ ንጉሥ።
The king has sent with him Zadok the priest, Nathan the prophet, Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and the Cherethites and the Pelethites; and they have caused him to ride on the king’s mule.
王差遣祭司撒督、先知拿單、耶何耶大的兒子比拿雅，和基利提人、比利提人都去使所羅門騎王的騾子。
1:45
ወቀብእዎ፡ ሳዶቅ፡ ካህን፡ ወናታን፡ ነቢይ፡ ወአንገሥዎ፡ በግዮን፡ ወዐርጉ፡ እምህየ፡ እንዘ፡ ይትፌሥሑ፡ ወደምፀት፡ ሀገር፡ ወዝንቱ፡ ውእቱ፡ ነገር፡ ዘሰማዕክሙ።
Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet have anointed him king in Gihon. They have come up from there rejoicing, so that the city rang again. This is the noise that you have heard.
祭司撒督和先知拿單在基訓已經膏他作王。眾人都從那裏歡呼着上來，聲音使城震動，這就是你們所聽見的聲音；
1:46
ወነበረ፡ ሰሎሞን፡ ውሰተ፡ መንበረ፡ መንግሥት።
Also, Solomon sits on the throne of the kingdom.
並且所羅門登了國位。
1:47
ወቦኡ፡ አግብርተ፡ ንጉሥ፡ ያእኵትዎ፡ ለንጉሥ፡ ለእግዚእነ፡ ዳዊት፡ ወይቤልዎ፡ ያሠኒ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ላዕለ፡ ስሙ፡ ለሰሎሞን፡ ወልድከ፡ ፈድፋደ፡ እምነ፡ ስምከ፡ ወያዕብዮ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ለመንበሩ፡ እምነ፡ መንበርከ ፤ ወሰገደ፡ ንጉሥ፡ በውስተ፡ ምስካቡ።
Moreover the king’s servants came to bless our lord King David, saying, ‘May your God make the name of Solomon better than your name, and make his throne greater than your throne;’ and the king bowed himself on the bed.
王的臣僕也來為我們的主大衛王祝福，說：『願王的上帝使所羅門的名比王的名更尊榮；使他的國位比王的國位更大。』王就在床上屈身下拜。
1:48
ወንጉሥኒ፡ ከመዝ፡ ይቤ፡ ይትባረክ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ አምላከ፡ እስራኤል፡ ዘወሀበ፡ ዮም፡ እምነ፡ ዘርእየ፡ ዘይነብር፡ ዲበ፡ መንበርየ፡ እንዘ፡ ይሬእያ፡ አዕይንትየ።
Also thus said the king, ‘Blessed be Yahweh, the God of Israel, who has given one to sit on my throne today, my eyes even seeing it.’”
王又說：『耶和華－以色列的上帝是應當稱頌的；因他賜我一人今日坐在我的位上，我也親眼看見了。』」
1:49
ወተንሥኡ፡ ኵሎሙ፡ ኅሩያኒሁ፡ ለአዶንያስ፡ ወሖሩ፡ ብእሲ፡ ብእሲ፡ ፍኖቶ።
All the guests of Adonijah were afraid, and rose up, and each man went his way.
亞多尼雅的眾客聽見這話就都驚懼，起來四散。
1:50
ወአዶንያስ፡ ፈርሀ፡ እምነ፡ ቅድመ፡ ገጹ፡ ለሰሎሞን፡ ወተንሥአ፡ ወሖረ፡ ወአኀዘ፡ አቅርንተ፡ ምሥዋዕ።
Adonijah was afraid because of Solomon; and he arose, and went, and hung onto the horns of the altar.
亞多尼雅懼怕所羅門，就起來，去抓住祭壇的角。
1:51
ወአይድዕዎ፡ ለሰሎሞን፡ ወይቤልዎ፡ ናሁ፡ አዶንያስ፡ ፈርህ፡ እምነ፡ ገጸ፡ ንጉሥ፡ ሰሎሞን፡ ወአኀዘ፡ አቅርንተ፡ ምሥዋዕ፡ ወይቤ፡ ይምሐል፡ ሊተ፡ ሰሎሞን፡ ዮም፡ ከመ፡ ኢይቅትለኒ፡ በኀፂን።
Solomon was told, “Behold, Adonijah fears King Solomon; for, behold, he is hanging onto the horns of the altar, saying, ‘Let King Solomon swear to me first that he will not kill his servant with the sword.’”
有人告訴所羅門說：「亞多尼雅懼怕所羅門王，現在抓住祭壇的角，說：『願所羅門王今日向我起誓，必不用刀殺僕人。』」
1:52
ወይቤ፡ ሰሎሞን፡ እመ፡ ኮነ፡ ወልደ፡ ኀይል፡ ኢትወድቅ፡ እምነ፡ ሥዕርቱ፡ ውስተ፡ ምድር፡ ወእመሰ፡ ተረክበት፡ እኪት፡ በላዕሌሁ፡ ይመውት።
Solomon said, “If he shows himself a worthy man, not a hair of his shall fall to the earth; but if wickedness is found in him, he shall die.”
所羅門說：「他若作忠義的人，連一根頭髮也不致落在地上；他若行惡，必要死亡。」
1:53
ወለአከ፡ ሰሎሞን፡ ንጉሥ፡ ወአውረድዎ፡ እምነ፡ መልዕልተ፡ ምሥዋዕ፡ ወቦአ፡ ወሰገደ፡ ለሰሎሞን፡ ወይቤሎ፡ ሰሎሞን፡ እቱ፡ ቤተከ።
So King Solomon sent, and they brought him down from the altar. He came and bowed down to King Solomon; and Solomon said to him, “Go to your house.”
於是所羅門王差遣人，使亞多尼雅從壇上下來，他就來，向所羅門王下拜；所羅門對他說：「你回家去吧！」
