9:1

ወዮዲትሰ፡ ወድቀት፡ በገጻ፡ ውስተ፡ ምድር፡ ወወደየት፡ ሐመደ፡ ውስተ፡ ርእሳ፡ ወአርአየት፡ ሠቅ፡ ዘትለብስ፡ ወአብአት፡ ቊርባነ፡ ውስተ፡ ቤተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ በኢየሩሳሌም፡ ለዝሉፉ፡ ዕጣነ፡ ዘይእቲ፡ አሚር፡ ወጸርሐት፡ በዓቢይ፡ ቃል፡ ውእተ፡ አሚረ።

But Judith fell upon her face, and put ashes upon her head, and uncovered the sackcloth with which she was clothed. The incense of that evening was now being offered at Jerusalem in the house of God, and Judith cried to the Lord with a loud voice, and said,

猶滴俯伏在地，把灰撒在頭上，脫去所穿的麻布。那時正是耶路撒冷神的殿獻晚祭燒香的時候。猶滴放聲向耶和華呼求說：

9:2

ወትቤ፡ ዮዲት፡ እግዚኦ፡ አምላከ፡ አቡየ፡ ስምዓኒ፡ ዘመጠውኮ፡ ኵናተ፡ ለስምዖን፡ ውስተ፡ እዴሁ፡ ለተበቅሎ፡ ፀር፡ እለ፡ ሰበሩ፡ ማኅፀነ፡ ወአርኰሱ፡ ድንግለ፡ ወሰለቡ፡ ወገመኑ፡ ማኅፀነ፡ በትዕይንት፡ አኮ፡ ከመዝ፡ ወበኵለሄ።

“O Lord God of my father Simeon, into whose hand you gave a sword to take vengeance on the strangers who loosened the belt of a virgin to defile her, uncovered the thigh to her shame, and profaned the womb to her reproach; for you said, ‘It shall not be so;’ and they did so.

「耶和華，我祖西緬的神哪，你曾把刀交在他手中，向那些外族人報仇，就是那些解開處女的腰帶玷污她、露其大腿使她蒙羞、褻瀆她的胎使她受辱的人；因為你曾說：『不可這樣行。』他們卻這樣行了。

9:3

ወእሙንቱሰ፡ ገብሩ፡ እስመ፡ ወሀብኮሙ፡ ኃይለ፡ ለመላእክቲሆሙ፡ ውስተ፡ ቀትል፡ ወምስካብ፡ ተነጽፈ፡ በደመ፡ እለ፡ ተቀትሉ፡ አግብርት፡ ጽኑዓን፡ ወኃያላን፡ እመናብርቲሆሙ።

Therefore you gave their rulers to be slain, and their bed, which was ashamed for her wo was deceived, to be dyed in blood, and struck the servants with their masters, and the masters upon their thrones;

因此你把他們的首領交付殺戮，又把他們那因詭詐受辱的臥榻染成血泊，擊打奴僕連同他們的權貴，擊打權貴連同他們的寶座；

9:4

ወተፄወዋ፡ አንስቲያሆሙ፡ ወአዋልዲሆሙ፡ ወተካፈሉ፡ ምሕርካሆሙ፡ ለውሉድ፡ እለ፡ ፍቁራን፡ በኀቤከ፡ እለ፡ ቀንዑ፡ ቅንዓተከ፡ ወአስቈረሩ፡ ርኩሰ፡ ደሞሙ፡ ወጸውዑከ፡ ከመ፡ ትርድኦሙ፡ እግዚኦ፡ አምላከ፡ ዚአየ፡ ስምዓኒ፡ ሊተ፡ ለመበለት።

and gave their wives for a prey, and their daughters to be captives, and all their spoils to be divided among your dear children; which were moved with zeal for you, and abhorred the pollution of their blood, and called upon you for aid. O God, O my God, hear me also who am a widow.

你又把他們的妻子交給人擄掠，把他們的女兒交去被擄，把他們一切的擄物分給你所愛的眾子；他們為你大發熱心，憎惡自身受玷污的血，並呼求你幫助。神啊，我的神啊，求你也垂聽我這寡婦。

9:5

እስመ፡ አንተ፡ ገበርከ፡ ዘቅድመ፡ ዝንቱ፡ ወዘእልክቱ፡ ወዘእምድኅሬሁ፡ ወዘይእዜኒ፡ ወዘይመጽአኒ፡ አእመርከ፡ ወዘእልክቱ፡ ወዘእምድኅሬሁ፡ ወዘይእዜ፡ ወዘይመጽእኒ፡ ወኮነ፡ በዘአእመርከ።

For you did the things that were before those things, and those things, and such as come after; and you planned the things which are now, and the things which are to come. The things which you planned came to pass.

因為先前的事是你所成就的，那些事、以後的事、現今的事和將來的事，都是你所籌劃的；你所籌劃的都成就了。

9:6

ወርቱዕ፡ ምክርከ፡ ወይቤሉከ፡ ናሁ፡ መጻእከ፡ እስመ፡ ድልው፡ ኵሉ፡ ፍናዊከ፡ ወኵነኔከኒ፡ በዘአእመርከ፡ ኰነንከ።

Yes, the things which you determined stood before you, and said, ‘Behold, we are here; for all your ways are prepared, and your judgement is with foreknowledge. ’

是的，你所定意的都站在你面前，說：『看哪，我們在這裡』；因為你一切的道路都是預備好的，你的審判都帶著預知。

9:7

እስመ፡ ናሁ፡ ፋርስ፡ በዝኁ፡ ምስለ፡ ኃይሎሙ፡ ወተለዐሉ፡ ዲበ፡ አፍራሲሆሙ፡ ወመስተፅዕናን፡ ተሐየሉ፡ በመዝራዕቶሙ፡ አጋርያን፡ ተአመኑ፡ በድርዖሙ፡ በኵናቶሙ፡ ወበቀስቶሙ፡ ወበሞጸፎሙ፡ ኢያእመሩከ፡ ከመ፡ አንተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ዘትቀጠቅጥ፡ ፀባዒተ፡ ወእግዚእ፡ ስምከ።

For, behold, the Assyrians are multiplied in their power. They are exalted with horse and rider. They have gloried in the strength of their footmen. They have trusted in shield, spear, bow, and sling. They don’t know that you are the Lord who breaks the battles. ‘The Lord’ is your name.

看哪，亞述人在他們的勢力中倍增，因馬匹和騎兵而自高，因步兵的膀臂而誇耀，仰賴盾牌、長槍、弓和機弦，卻不知道你是耶和華，是粉碎戰爭的。

9:8

ወአንተ፡ ነፃህኮሙ፡ ምስለ፡ ኃይሎሙ፡ በኃይልከ፡ ወአስጥሞሙ፡ በመዓትከ፡ ለጽንዖሙ፡ እስመ፡ መከሩ፡ ያርኵሱ፡ መቅደሰከ፡ ወያገምኑ፡ ደብተራ፡ ምዕራፈ፡ ስብሐተ፡ ስምከ፡ ወነሠቱ፡ በኃፂን፡ አቅርንተ፡ ምሥዋዒከ።

Break their strength in your power, and bring down their force in your wrath; for they intend to profane your sanctuary, and to defile the tabernacle where your glorious name rests, and to destroy the horn of your altar with the sword.

耶和華是你的名。求你用你的大能挫敗他們的力量，在你的烈怒中打垮他們的權勢；因為他們定意要褻瀆你的聖所，玷污你榮耀之名安息的居所，用鐵器砍倒你祭壇的角。

9:9

ወርኢ፡ ትዕቢቶሙ፡ ወፈኑ፡ መዓተከ፡ ውስተ፡ ርእሶሙ፡ ወሀብ፡ ኃይለ፡ በእዴየ፡ ሊተ፡ ለመበለት።

Look at their pride, and send your wrath upon their heads. Give into my hand, which am a widow, the might that I have conceived.

求你垂看他們的驕傲，向他們頭上發出你的忿怒，把我這寡婦所定意的力量交在我手中。
