18:1
Ταῦτα εἰπὼν Ἰησοῦς ἐξῆλθεν σὺν τοῖς μαθηταῖς αὐτοῦ πέραν τοῦ χειμάρρου τοῦ κέδρου , ὅπου ἦν κῆπος , εἰς ὃν εἰσῆλθεν αὐτὸς καὶ οἱ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ .
When Jesus had spoken these words, he went out with his disciples over the brook Kidron, where there was a garden, into which he and his disciples entered.
耶穌說了這話，就同門徒出去，過了汲淪溪。在那裏有一個園子，他和門徒進去了。
18:2
ᾔδει δὲ καὶ Ἰούδας ὁ παραδιδοὺς αὐτὸν τὸν τόπον , ὅτι πολλάκις συνήχθη Ἰησοῦς ἐκεῖ μετὰ τῶν μαθητῶν αὐτοῦ .
Now Judas, who betrayed him, also knew the place, for Jesus often met there with his disciples.
賣耶穌的猶大也知道那地方，因為耶穌和門徒屢次上那裏去聚集。
18:3
ὁ οὖν Ἰούδας λαβὼν τὴν σπεῖραν καὶ ἐκ τῶν ἀρχιερέων καὶ ἐκ τῶν Φαρισαίων ὑπηρέτας ἔρχεται ἐκεῖ μετὰ φανῶν καὶ λαμπάδων καὶ ὅπλων .
Judas then, having taken a detachment of soldiers and officers from the chief priests and the Pharisees, came there with lanterns, torches, and weapons.
猶大領了一隊兵，和祭司長並法利賽人的差役，拿着燈籠、火把、兵器，就來到園裏。
18:4
Ἰησοῦς οὖν εἰδὼς πάντα τὰ ἐρχόμενα ἐπ’ αὐτὸν ἐξῆλθεν καὶ λέγει αὐτοῖς · τίνα ζητεῖτε ;
Jesus therefore, knowing all the things that were happening to him, went out and said to them, “Who are you looking for?”
耶穌知道將要臨到自己的一切事，就出來對他們說：「你們找誰？」
18:5
ἀπεκρίθησαν αὐτῷ Ἰησοῦν τὸν Ναζωραῖον . λέγει αὐτοῖς Ἰησοῦς · ἐγώ εἰμι . εἱστήκει δὲ καὶ Ἰούδας ὁ παραδιδοὺς αὐτὸν μετ’ αὐτῶν .
They answered him, “Jesus of Nazareth.” Jesus said to them, “I am he.” Judas also, who betrayed him, was standing with them.
他們回答說：「找拿撒勒人耶穌。」耶穌說：「我就是！」賣他的猶大也同他們站在那裏。
18:6
ὡς οὖν εἶπεν αὐτοῖς · ἐγώ εἰμι , ἀπῆλθον εἰς τὰ ὀπίσω καὶ ἔπεσαν χαμαί .
When therefore he said to them, “I am he,” they went backward and fell to the ground.
耶穌一說「我就是」，他們就退後倒在地上。
18:7
πάλιν οὖν αὐτούς ἐπηρώτησεν · τίνα ζητεῖτε ; οἱ δὲ εἶπον · Ἰησοῦν τὸν Ναζωραῖον .
Again therefore he asked them, “Who are you looking for?” They said, “Jesus of Nazareth.”
他又問他們說：「你們找誰？」他們說：「找拿撒勒人耶穌。」
18:8
ἀπεκρίθη Ἰησοῦς · εἶπον ὑμῖν ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι · εἰ οὖν ἐμὲ ζητεῖτε , ἄφετε τούτους ὑπάγειν .
Jesus answered, “I told you that I am he. If therefore you seek me, let these go their way,”
耶穌說：「我已經告訴你們，我就是。你們若找我，就讓這些人去吧。」
18:9
ἵνα πληρωθῇ ὁ λόγος ὃν εἶπεν , ὅτι οὓς δέδωκάς μοι , οὐκ ἀπώλεσα ἐξ αὐτῶν οὐδένα .
that the word might be fulfilled which he spoke, “Of those whom you have given me, I have lost none.”
這要應驗耶穌從前的話，說：「你所賜給我的人，我沒有失落一個。」
18:10
Σίμων οὖν Πέτρος ἔχων μάχαιραν εἵλκυσεν αὐτὴν καὶ ἔπαισεν τὸν τοῦ ἀρχιερέως δοῦλον καὶ ἀπέκοψεν αὐτοῦ τὸ ὠτάριον τὸ δεξιόν · ἦν δὲ ὄνομα τῷ δούλῳ Μάλχος .
Simon Peter therefore, having a sword, drew it, struck the high priest’s servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant’s name was Malchus.
西門‧彼得帶着一把刀，就拔出來，將大祭司的僕人砍了一刀，削掉他的右耳；那僕人名叫馬勒古。
18:11
εἶπεν οὖν ὁ Ἰησοῦς τῷ Πέτρῳ · βάλε τὴν μάχαιραν εἰς τὴν θήκην · τὸ ποτήριον ὃ δέδωκέν μοι ὁ πατήρ , οὐ μὴ πίω αὐτό ;
Jesus therefore said to Peter, “Put the sword into its sheath. The cup which the Father has given me, shall I not surely drink it?”
耶穌就對彼得說：「收刀入鞘吧，我父所給我的那杯，我豈可不喝呢？」
18:12
Ἡ οὖν σπεῖρα καὶ ὁ χιλίαρχος καὶ οἱ ὑπηρέται τῶν Ἰουδαίων συνέλαβον τὸν Ἰησοῦν καὶ ἔδησαν αὐτόν ,
So the detachment, the commanding officer, and the officers of the Jews seized Jesus and bound him,
那隊兵和千夫長，並猶太人的差役就拿住耶穌，把他捆綁了，
18:13
καὶ ἤγαγον πρὸς Ἅνναν πρῶτον · ἦν γὰρ πενθερὸς τοῦ Καϊάφα , ὃς ἦν ἀρχιερεὺς τοῦ ἐνιαυτοῦ ἐκείνου ·
and led him to Annas first, for he was father-in-law to Caiaphas, who was high priest that year.
先帶到亞那面前，因為亞那是本年作大祭司該亞法的岳父。
18:14
ἦν δὲ Καϊάφας ὁ συμβουλεύσας τοῖς Ἰουδαίοις ὅτι συμφέρει ἕνα ἄνθρωπον ἀποθανεῖν ὑπὲρ τοῦ λαοῦ .
Now it was Caiaphas who advised the Jews that it was expedient that one man should perish for the people.
這該亞法就是從前向猶太人發議論說「一個人替百姓死是有益的」那位。
18:15
Ἠκολούθει δὲ τῷ Ἰησοῦ Σίμων Πέτρος καὶ ἄλλος μαθητής . ὁ δὲ μαθητὴς ἐκεῖνος ἦν γνωστὸς τῷ ἀρχιερεῖ , καὶ συνεισῆλθεν τῷ Ἰησοῦ εἰς τὴν αὐλὴν τοῦ ἀρχιερέως ,
Simon Peter followed Jesus, as did another disciple. Now that disciple was known to the high priest, and entered in with Jesus into the court of the high priest;
西門‧彼得跟着耶穌，還有一個門徒跟着。那門徒是大祭司所認識的，他就同耶穌進了大祭司的院子。
18:16
ὁ δὲ Πέτρος εἱστήκει πρὸς τῇ θύρᾳ ἔξω . ἐξῆλθεν οὖν ὁ μαθητὴς ὁ ἄλλος ὁ γνωστὸς τοῦ ἀρχιερέως καὶ εἶπεν τῇ θυρωρῷ , καὶ εἰσήγαγεν τὸν Πέτρον .
but Peter was standing at the door outside. So the other disciple, who was known to the high priest, went out and spoke to her who kept the door, and brought in Peter.
彼得卻站在門外。大祭司所認識的那個門徒出來，和看門的使女說了一聲，就領彼得進去。
18:17
λέγει οὖν τῷ Πέτρῳ ἡ παιδίσκη ἡ θυρωρός , μὴ καὶ σὺ ἐκ τῶν μαθητῶν εἶ τοῦ ἀνθρώπου τούτου ; λέγει ἐκεῖνος · οὐκ εἰμί .
Then the maid who kept the door said to Peter, “Are you also one of this man’s disciples?” He said, “I am not.”
那看門的使女對彼得說：「你不也是這人的門徒嗎？」他說：「我不是。」
18:18
εἱστήκεισαν δὲ οἱ δοῦλοι καὶ οἱ ὑπηρέται ἀνθρακιὰν πεποιηκότες , ὅτι ψῦχος ἦν , καὶ ἐθερμαίνοντο · ἦν δὲ καὶ ὁ Πέτρος μετ’ αὐτῶν ἑστὼς καὶ θερμαινόμενος .
Now the servants and the officers were standing there, having made a fire of coals, for it was cold. They were warming themselves. Peter was with them, standing and warming himself.
僕人和差役因為天冷，就生了炭火，站在那裏烤火；彼得也同他們站着烤火。
18:19
Ὁ οὖν ἀρχιερεὺς ἠρώτησεν τὸν Ἰησοῦν περὶ τῶν μαθητῶν αὐτοῦ καὶ περὶ τῆς διδαχῆς αὐτοῦ .
The high priest therefore asked Jesus about his disciples and about his teaching.
大祭司就以耶穌的門徒和他的教訓盤問他。
18:20
ἀπεκρίθη αὐτῷ Ἰησοῦς · ἐγὼ παρρησίᾳ λελάληκα τῷ κόσμῳ · ἐγὼ πάντοτε ἐδίδαξα ἐν συναγωγῇ καὶ ἐν τῷ ἱερῷ , ὅπου πάντες οἱ Ἰουδαῖοι συνέρχονται , καὶ ἐν κρυπτῷ ἐλάλησα οὐδέν .
Jesus answered him, “I spoke openly to the world. I always taught in synagogues and in the temple, where the Jews always meet. I said nothing in secret.
耶穌回答說：「我從來是明明地對世人說話。我常在會堂和殿裏，就是猶太人聚集的地方教訓人；我在暗地裏並沒有說甚麼。
18:21
τί με ἐρωτᾷς ; ἐρώτησον τοὺς ἀκηκοότας τί ἐλάλησα αὐτοῖς · ἴδε οὗτοι οἴδασιν ἃ εἶπον ἐγώ .
Why do you ask me? Ask those who have heard me what I said to them. Behold, they know the things which I said.”
你為甚麼問我呢？可以問那聽見的人，我對他們說的是甚麼；我所說的，他們都知道。」
18:22
ταῦτα δὲ αὐτοῦ εἰπόντος εἷς παρεστηκὼς τῶν ὑπηρετῶν ἔδωκεν ῥάπισμα τῷ Ἰησοῦ εἰπών · οὕτως ἀποκρίνῃ τῷ ἀρχιερεῖ ;
When he had said this, one of the officers standing by slapped Jesus with his hand, saying, “Do you answer the high priest like that?”
耶穌說了這話，旁邊站着的一個差役用手掌打他，說：「你這樣回答大祭司嗎？」
18:23
ἀπεκρίθη αὐτῷ Ἰησοῦς · εἰ κακῶς ἐλάλησα , μαρτύρησον περὶ τοῦ κακοῦ · εἰ δὲ καλῶς , τί με δέρεις ;
Jesus answered him, “If I have spoken evil, testify of the evil; but if well, why do you beat me?”
耶穌說：「我若說的不是，你可以指證那不是；我若說的是，你為甚麼打我呢？」
18:24
ἀπέστειλεν οὖν αὐτὸν ὁ Ἅννας δεδεμένον πρὸς Καϊάφαν τὸν ἀρχιερέα .
Annas sent him bound to Caiaphas, the high priest.
亞那就把耶穌解到大祭司該亞法那裏，仍是捆着解去的。
18:25
Ἦν δὲ Σίμων Πέτρος ἑστὼς καὶ θερμαινόμενος . εἶπον οὖν αὐτῷ · μὴ καὶ σὺ ἐκ τῶν μαθητῶν αὐτοῦ εἶ ; ἠρνήσατο ἐκεῖνος καὶ εἶπεν · οὐκ εἰμί .
Now Simon Peter was standing and warming himself. They said therefore to him, “You aren’t also one of his disciples, are you?” He denied it and said, “I am not.”
西門‧彼得正站着烤火，有人對他說：「你不也是他的門徒嗎？」彼得不承認，說：「我不是。」
18:26
λέγει εἷς ἐκ τῶν δούλων τοῦ ἀρχιερέως , συγγενὴς ὢν οὗ ἀπέκοψεν Πέτρος τὸ ὠτίον · οὐκ ἐγώ σε εἶδον ἐν τῷ κήπῳ μετ’ αὐτοῦ ;
One of the servants of the high priest, being a relative of him whose ear Peter had cut off, said, “Didn’t I see you in the garden with him?”
有大祭司的一個僕人，是彼得削掉耳朵那人的親屬，說：「我不是看見你同他在園子裏嗎？」
18:27
πάλιν οὖν ἠρνήσατο Πέτρος · καὶ εὐθέως ἀλέκτωρ ἐφώνησεν .
Peter therefore denied it again, and immediately the rooster crowed.
彼得又不承認。立時雞就叫了。
18:28
Ἄγουσιν οὖν τὸν Ἰησοῦν ἀπὸ τοῦ Καϊάφα εἰς τὸ πραιτώριον · ἦν δὲ πρωΐ · καὶ αὐτοὶ οὐκ εἰσῆλθον εἰς τὸ πραιτώριον , ἵνα μὴ μιανθῶσιν ἀλλὰ φάγωσιν τὸ πάσχα .
They led Jesus therefore from Caiaphas into the Praetorium. It was early, and they themselves didn’t enter into the Praetorium, that they might not be defiled, but might eat the Passover.
眾人將耶穌從該亞法那裏往衙門內解去，那時天還早。他們自己卻不進衙門，恐怕染了污穢，不能吃逾越節的筵席。
18:29
ἐξῆλθεν οὖν ὁ Πειλᾶτος ἔξω πρὸς αὐτοὺς καὶ φησίν · τίνα κατηγορίαν φέρετε τοῦ ἀνθρώπου τούτου ;
Pilate therefore went out to them and said, “What accusation do you bring against this man?”
彼拉多就出來，到他們那裏，說：「你們告這人是為甚麼事呢？」
18:30
ἀπεκρίθησαν καὶ εἶπαν αὐτῷ · εἰ μὴ ἦν οὗτος κακὸν ποιῶν , οὐκ ἄν σοι παρεδώκαμεν αὐτόν .
They answered him, “If this man weren’t an evildoer, we wouldn’t have delivered him up to you.”
他們回答說：「這人若不是作惡的，我們就不把他交給你。」
18:31
εἶπεν οὖν αὐτοῖς ὁ Πειλᾶτος · λάβετε αὐτὸν ὑμεῖς καὶ κατὰ τὸν νόμον ὑμῶν κρίνατε . εἶπον οὖν αὐτῷ οἱ Ἰουδαῖοι · ἡμῖν οὐκ ἔξεστιν ἀποκτεῖναι οὐδένα .
Pilate therefore said to them, “Take him yourselves, and judge him according to your law.” Therefore the Jews said to him, “It is illegal for us to put anyone to death,”
彼拉多說：「你們自己帶他去，按着你們的律法審問他吧。」猶太人說：「我們沒有殺人的權柄。」
18:32
ἵνα ὁ λόγος τοῦ Ἰησοῦ πληρωθῇ , ὃν εἶπεν σημαίνων ποίῳ θανάτῳ ἤμελλεν ἀποθνῄσκειν .
that the word of Jesus might be fulfilled, which he spoke, signifying by what kind of death he should die.
這要應驗耶穌所說自己將要怎樣死的話了。
18:33
Εἰσῆλθεν οὖν εἰς τὸ πραιτώριον πάλιν ὁ Πειλᾶτος καὶ ἐφώνησεν τὸν Ἰησοῦν καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ · σὺ εἶ ὁ βασιλεὺς τῶν Ἰουδαίων ;
Pilate therefore entered again into the Praetorium, called Jesus, and said to him, “Are you the King of the Jews?”
彼拉多又進了衙門，叫耶穌來，對他說：「你是猶太人的王嗎？」
18:34
ἀπεκρίθη Ἰησοῦς · ἀφ’ ἑαυτοῦ σὺ τοῦτο λέγεις , ἢ ἄλλοι σοι εἶπόν περὶ ἐμοῦ ;
Jesus answered him, “Do you say this by yourself, or did others tell you about me?”
耶穌回答說：「這話是你自己說的，還是別人論我對你說的呢？」
18:35
ἀπεκρίθη ὁ Πειλᾶτος · μήτι ἐγὼ Ἰουδαῖός εἰμι ; τὸ ἔθνος τὸ σὸν καὶ οἱ ἀρχιερεῖς παρέδωκάν σε ἐμοί · τί ἐποίησας ;
Pilate answered, “I’m not a Jew, am I? Your own nation and the chief priests delivered you to me. What have you done?”
彼拉多說：「我豈是猶太人呢？你本國的人和祭司長把你交給我。你做了甚麼事呢？」
18:36
ἀπεκρίθη Ἰησοῦς · ἡ βασιλεία ἡ ἐμὴ οὐκ ἔστιν ἐκ τοῦ κόσμου τούτου · εἰ ἐκ τοῦ κόσμου τούτου ἦν ἡ βασιλεία ἡ ἐμή , οἱ ὑπηρέται ἂν οἱ ἐμοὶ ἠγωνίζοντο , ἵνα μὴ παραδοθῶ τοῖς Ἰουδαίοις · νῦν δὲ ἡ βασιλεία ἡ ἐμὴ οὐκ ἔστιν ἐντεῦθεν .
Jesus answered, “My Kingdom is not of this world. If my Kingdom were of this world, then my servants would fight, that I wouldn’t be delivered to the Jews. But now my Kingdom is not from here.”
耶穌回答說：「我的國不屬這世界；我的國若屬這世界，我的臣僕必要爭戰，使我不至於被交給猶太人。只是我的國不屬這世界。」
18:37
εἶπεν οὖν αὐτῷ ὁ Πειλᾶτος · οὐκοῦν βασιλεὺς εἶ σύ ; ἀπεκρίθη ὁ Ἰησοῦς · σὺ λέγεις , ὅτι βασιλεύς εἰμι . ἐγὼ εἰς τοῦτο γεγέννημαι καὶ εἰς τοῦτο ἐλήλυθα εἰς τὸν κόσμον , ἵνα μαρτυρήσω τῇ ἀληθείᾳ · πᾶς ὁ ὢν ἐκ τῆς ἀληθείας ἀκούει μου τῆς φωνῆς .
Pilate therefore said to him, “Are you a king then?” Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. For this reason I have been born, and for this reason I have come into the world, that I should testify to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth listens to my voice.”
彼拉多就對他說：「這樣，你是王嗎？」耶穌回答說：「你說我是王。我為此而生，也為此來到世間，特為給真理作見證。凡屬真理的人就聽我的話。」
18:38
λέγει αὐτῷ ὁ Πειλᾶτος · τί ἐστιν ἀλήθεια ; καὶ τοῦτο εἰπὼν πάλιν ἐξῆλθεν πρὸς τοὺς Ἰουδαίους , καὶ λέγει αὐτοῖς · ἐγὼ οὐδεμίαν εὑρίσκω ἐν αὐτῷ αἰτίαν .
Pilate said to him, “What is truth?” When he had said this, he went out again to the Jews, and said to them, “I find no basis for a charge against him.
彼拉多說：「真理是甚麼呢？」 耶穌被判死刑 （太27‧15－31；可15‧6－20；路23‧13－25） 說了這話，又出來到猶太人那裏，對他們說：「我查不出他有甚麼罪來。
18:39
ἔστιν δὲ συνήθεια ὑμῖν ἵνα ἕνα ἀπολύσω ὑμῖν ἐν τῷ πάσχα · βούλεσθε οὖν ἀπολύσω ὑμῖν τὸν βασιλέα τῶν Ἰουδαίων ;
But you have a custom that I should release someone to you at the Passover. Therefore, do you want me to release to you the King of the Jews?”
但你們有個規矩，在逾越節要我給你們釋放一個人，你們要我給你們釋放猶太人的王嗎？」
18:40
ἐκραύγασαν οὖν πάλιν λέγοντες · μὴ τοῦτον , ἀλλὰ τὸν Βαραββᾶν . ἦν δὲ ὁ Βαραββᾶς λῃστής .
Then they all shouted again, saying, “Not this man, but Barabbas!” Now Barabbas was a robber.
他們又喊着說：「不要這人，要巴拉巴！」這巴拉巴是個強盜。
