For neither I nor any other like me can keep pace with the wisdom of the blessed and glorious Paul, who, when he was among you, taught accurately and reliably the word concerning truth in the presence of the people of that time, and who, when absent, wrote letters to you—into which, if you look closely, you will be able to be built up in the faith given to you;
which faith is the mother of us all, with hope following after and love going before—love toward God and Christ and toward our neighbour. For if anyone is within the bounds of these, he has fulfilled the commandment of righteousness; for he who has love is far from all sin.
