ℹ️ This corpus has no verse-level morphological tagging. Lemmas come mainly from word-level tagging of other books in the same language (not from this verse), falling back to dictionary form-matching for the rest. Rare homographs can still be misread; verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.

And Iarbal—he is Gideon—rose early, and all the people with him, and they encamped by the spring of Arad; and the camp of Madiam was to the north of him, from Gabaath Amora, in the valley.
And the Lord said to Gideon, "The people with you are too many for me to give Madiam into their hand, lest Israel boast against me, saying, 'My own hand has saved me.'
"And now speak in the ears of the people, saying, 'Whoever is fearful and cowardly, let him turn back and withdraw from Mount Galaad.'" And twenty-two thousand of the people turned back, and ten thousand were left.
And the Lord said to Gideon, "The people are still too many. Bring them down to the water, and I will sift them for you there. And it shall be that whomever I say to you, 'This one shall go with you,' he shall go with you; and everyone of whom I say to you, 'This one shall not go with you,' he shall not go with you."
And he brought the people down to the water, and the Lord said to Gideon, "Everyone who laps with his tongue from the water, as a dog would lap, you shall set him apart by himself; and everyone who bends down on his knees to drink."
And the number of those who lapped with their hand to their mouth was three hundred men; and all the rest of the people bowed down on their knees to drink water.
And the Lord said to Gideon, "By the three hundred men who lapped I will save you, and I will give Madiam into your hand; and all the people shall go, each man to his own place."
And they took the people's provisions in their hand and their horns; and he sent away every man of Israel, each to his tent, and he strengthened the three hundred men; and the camp of Madiam was below him in the valley.
and you shall hear what they will say, and after this your hands shall be strengthened, and you shall go down into the camp." And he went down, he and Phara his servant, to the head of the fifty who were in the camp.
And Madiam and Amalek and all the sons of the east lay strewn in the valley, like a locust in multitude; and their camels were without number, but they were like the sand on the seashore in multitude.
And Gideon came, and behold, a man was recounting a dream to his neighbor; and he said, "A dream! Behold, I dreamed, and behold, a round barley loaf was rolling through the camp of Madiam, and it came as far as the tent and struck it, and it fell, and it turned it upside down, and the tent fell."
And his neighbor answered and said, "This is nothing but the sword of Gideon son of Ioas, a man of Israel; God has given Madiam and the whole camp into his hand."
And when Gideon heard the recounting of the dream and its interpretation, he did obeisance to the Lord and returned to the camp of Israel and said, "Arise, for the Lord has given the camp of Madiam into our hand."
And he said to them, "You shall look to me, and so shall you do. And behold, I am going into the edge of the camp, and it shall be that just as I do, so you shall do.
And I will sound the horn, I and all who are with me, and you shall sound the horns all around the whole camp, and you shall say, 'For the Lord and for Gideon!'"
And Gideon and the hundred men who were with him came to the edge of the camp at the beginning of the middle watch; and they indeed roused the sentries, and they sounded the horns and shook out the jars that were in their hands.
And the three companies sounded the horns and broke the jars, and they held the torches in their left hands and in their right hands the horns to sound, and they cried out, "A sword for the Lord and for Gideon!"
And they sounded with the three hundred horns, and the Lord set each man's sword against his neighbor throughout all the camp; and the camp fled as far as Bethseedta Garagatha, to the bank of Abomeoula, to Tabath.
And Gideon sent messengers throughout all the hill country of Ephraim, saying, "Come down to meet Madiam and seize for yourselves the water as far as Baithera, and the Jordan." And every man of Ephraim cried out, and they seized beforehand the water as far as Baithera, and the Jordan.
And they captured the rulers of Madiam, both Oreb and Zeb, and they killed Oreb at Sour, and Zeb they killed at Iakephzeph, and they pursued Madiam; and they brought the head of Oreb and Zeb to Gideon from beyond the Jordan.
