19:1
ወነገራ፡ አካአብ፡ ለኤልዛቤል፡ ብአሲቱ፡ ኵሎ፡ ዘገብረ፡ ኤልያስ፡ ወዘከመ፡ ቀተሎሙ፡ ለነቢያተ፡ ኀፍረት።
亞哈將以利亞一切所行的和他用刀殺眾先知的事都告訴耶洗別。
Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done, and how he had killed all the prophets with the sword.
19:2
ወለአከት፡ ኤልዛቤል፡ ኀበ፡ ኤልያስ፡ ወትቤሎ፡ እመ፡ አኮአ፡ አንተአ፡ ኤልያስአ፡ ወእመ፡ አኮአ፡ አነአ፡ ኤልዝቤልአ፡ ከመዝአ፡ ለይረስየኒ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወከመዝአ፡ ለይቅትለኒአ፡ ከመአ፡ ጌስምኣ፡ ዘጊዜአ፡ እሬስያአ፡ ለነፍስከአ፡ ከመ፡ ነፍሰአ፡ አሐዱአ፡ እምኔሆሙ።
耶洗別就差遣人去見以利亞，告訴他說：「明日約在這時候，我若不使你的性命像那些人的性命一樣，願神明重重地降罰與我。」
Then Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah, saying, “So let the gods do to me, and more also, if I don’t make your life as the life of one of them by tomorrow about this time!”
19:3
ወፈርሀ፡ ኤልያስ፡ ወተንሥአ፡ ወአምሰጠ፡ በነፍሱ፡ ወበጽሑ፡ ውስተ፡ ቤርሳቤሕ፡ ውስተ፡ ምድረ፡ ይሁዳ፡ ወኀደጎ፡ ለቍልዔሁ፡ ህየ።
以利亞見這光景就起來逃命，到了猶大的別是巴，將僕人留在那裏，
When he saw that, he arose and ran for his life, and came to Beersheba, which belongs to Judah, and left his servant there.
19:4
ወሖረ፡ ውእቱ፡ ውስተ፡ ፍኖተ፡ በድው፡ ዕለተ፡ ወበጺሖ፡ [ነበረ፡] ታሕተ፡ ዕፀ፡ ተርሜን፡ ወሰአለ፡ ትሙት፡ ነፍሱ፡ ወይቤ፡ ኮንየ፡ እንከሰ፡ እምይእዜሰ፡ ነፍስየ፡ እግዚኦ፡ ንሣእ፡ እስመ፡ ኢይኄይስ፡ አነ፡ እምነ፡ አበውየ።
自己在曠野走了一日的路程，來到一棵羅騰樹下 ，就坐在那裏求死，說：「耶和華啊，罷了！求你取我的性命，因為我不勝於我的列祖。」
But he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree. Then he requested for himself that he might die, and said, “It is enough. Now, O Yahweh, take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers.”
19:5
ወእምዝ፡ ሰከበ፡ ወኖመ፡ ህየ፡ ታሕተ፡ ዕፅ፡ ወቦ፡ ዘመጽአ፡ ወገሰሶ፡ ወይቤሎ፡ ተንሥእ፡ ወብላዕ።
他就躺在羅騰樹下，睡着了。有一個天使拍他，說：「起來吃吧！」
He lay down and slept under a juniper tree; and behold, an angel touched him, and said to him, “Arise and eat!”
19:6
ወእምዝ፡ ተንሥአ፡ ኤልያስ፡ ወረከበ፡ ትርኣሲሁ፡ ኅብስተ፡ ጻፍንታ፡ ወጸራይቀ፡ ወግምዔ፡ ማይ፡ ወተንሥአ፡ ወበልዐ፡ ወሰትየ፡ ወገብአ፡ ወሰከበ።
他觀看，見頭旁有一瓶水與炭火燒的餅，他就吃了喝了，仍然躺下。
He looked, and behold, there was at his head a cake baked on the coals, and a jar of water. He ate and drank, and lay down again.
19:7
ወመጽአ፡ መልአከ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ዳግመ፡ ወገሰሶ፡ ወይቤሎ፡ ተንሥአ፡ ወብላዕ፡ እስመ፡ ርኁቅ፡ ውእቱ፡ ፍኖትከ።
耶和華的使者第二次來拍他，說：「起來吃吧！因為你當走的路甚遠。」
Yahweh’s angel came again the second time, and touched him, and said, “Arise and eat, because the journey is too great for you.”
19:8
ወተንሥአ፡ ወበልዐ፡ ወሰትየ፡ ወሖረ፡ በኀይለ፡ ውእቱ፡ እክል፡ ዘበልዐ፡ ፵ዕለተ፡ ወ፵ሌሊተ፡ እስከ፡ ደብረ፡ ኮሬብ።
他就起來吃了喝了，仗着這飲食的力，走了四十晝夜，到了上帝的山，就是何烈山。
He arose, and ate and drank, and went in the strength of that food forty days and forty nights to Horeb, God’s Mountain.
19:9
ወቦአ፡ ህየ፡ ውስተ፡ በአት፡ ወኀደረ፡ ህየ፡ ወመጽአ፡ ቃለ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ኀቤሁ፡ ወይቤሎ፡ ምንተ፡ መጻእከ፡ ዝየ፡ ኤልያስ።
他在那裏進了一個洞，就住在洞中。耶和華的話臨到他說：「以利亞啊，你在這裏做甚麼？」
He came to a cave there, and camped there; and behold, Yahweh’s word came to him, and he said to him, “What are you doing here, Elijah?”
19:10
ወይቤሎ፡ ቀኒአ፡ ቀናእኩ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ ዘኵሎ፡ ይመልክ፡ እስመ፡ ኀደጉከ፡ ደቂቀ፡ እስራኤል፡ ምሥዋዒከኒ፡ ነሠቱ፡ ወቀተሉ፡ ነቢያቲከኒ፡ በኲናት፡ ወተረፍኩ፡ አነ፡ ባሕቲትየ፡ ወየሐሥሥዋ፡ ለነፍስየ።
他說：「我為耶和華－萬軍之上帝大發熱心；因為以色列人背棄了你的約，毀壞了你的壇，用刀殺了你的先知，只剩下我一個人，他們還要尋索我的命。」
He said, “I have been very jealous for Yahweh, the God of Armies; for the children of Israel have forsaken your covenant, thrown down your altars, and killed your prophets with the sword. I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away.”
19:11
ወይቤሎ፡ ፃእ፡ ጌሰመ፡ ወቁም፡ ቅድመ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ውስተ፡ ደብር፡ ወየኀልፍ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፤ ወይመጽእ፡ ነፋስ፡ ዐቢይ፡ ወጽኑዕ፡ ስ፡ ዘይፈትሕ፡ አድባረ፡ ወይፌትቶ፡ ለኰኵሕ፡ ቅድመ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወኢሀለወ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ውስተ፡ ውእቱ፡ ነፋስ፡ ወእምድኅረ፡ ውእቱ፡ ነፋስ፡ ይመጽእ፡ ድልቅልቅ፡ ወኢሀለወ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ውስተ፡ ውእቱ፡ ድልቅልቅ።
耶和華說：「你出來站在山上，在我面前。」那時耶和華從那裏經過，在他面前有烈風大作，崩山碎石，耶和華卻不在風中；風後地震，耶和華卻不在其中；
He said, “Go out and stand on the mountain before Yahweh.” Behold, Yahweh passed by, and a great and strong wind tore the mountains and broke in pieces the rocks before Yahweh; but Yahweh was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake; but Yahweh was not in the earthquake.
19:12
ወእምድኅረ፡ ውእቱ፡ ድልቅልቅ፡ ይመጽእ፡ እሳት፡ ወኢሀለወ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ውስተ፡ ውእቱ፡ እሳት፡ ወእምድኅረ፡ እሳት፡ ይመጽእ፡ ቃለ፡ ቀጢን፡ ከመ፡ ዘይትፋጸይ፡ ወህየ፡ ሀለወ፡ እግዚአብሔር።
地震後有火，耶和華也不在火中；火後有微小的聲音。
After the earthquake a fire passed; but Yahweh was not in the fire. After the fire, there was a still small voice.
19:13
ወሶበ፡ ሰምዐ፡ ኤልያስ፡ ከደነ፡ ገጾ፡ በሐሜላቱ፡ ወእምዝ፡ ወፅአ፡ ወቆመ፡ ታሕተ፡ በአት፡ ወመጽአ፡ ቃል፡ ኀቤሁ፡ ወይቤሎ፡ ምንተ፡ መጻእከ፡ ዝየ፡ ኤልያስ።
以利亞聽見，就用外衣蒙上臉，出來站在洞口。有聲音向他說：「以利亞啊，你在這裏做甚麼？」
When Elijah heard it, he wrapped his face in his mantle, went out, and stood in the entrance of the cave. Behold, a voice came to him, and said, “What are you doing here, Elijah?”
19:14
ወይቤ፡ ቀኒአ፡ ቀናእኩ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ ዘኵሎ፡ ይመልክ፡ እስመ፡ ኀደጉ፡ ሕገከ፡ ደቂቀ፡ እስራኤል፡ ወነሠቱ፡ ምሥዋዒከኒ፡ ወቀተሉ፡ ነቢያቲከኒ፡ በኲናት፡ ወተረፍኩ፡ አነ፡ ባሕቲትየ፡ ወየኀሥሥዋ፡ ለነፍስየ፡ ይንሥእዋ።
他說：「我為耶和華－萬軍之上帝大發熱心；因為以色列人背棄了你的約，毀壞了你的壇，用刀殺了你的先知，只剩下我一個人，他們還要尋索我的命。」
He said, “I have been very jealous for Yahweh, the God of Armies; for the children of Israel have forsaken your covenant, thrown down your altars, and killed your prophets with the sword. I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away.”
19:15
ወይቤሎ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ግባእ፡ ውስተ፡ ፍኖትከ፡ ወተኀልፍ፡ እንተ፡ ፍኖተ፡ በድው፡ በደማስቆ፡ ወበጺሐከ፡ ቀብኦ፡ ለአዛሔል፡ ይንግሥ፡ ለሶርያ።
耶和華對他說：「你回去，從曠野往大馬士革去。到了那裏，就要膏哈薛作亞蘭王，
Yahweh said to him, “Go, return on your way to the wilderness of Damascus. When you arrive, anoint Hazael to be king over Syria.
19:16
ወለወልደ፡ ኢዩ፡ ወልደ፡ ናሜሶ፡ ቅብኦ፡ ይንግሥ፡ ለእስራኤል፡ ወለኤልሳዕ፡ ወልደ፡ ሳፍጥ፡ ዘእምነ፡ አቤሌሜሁላ፡ ቅብኦ፡ ይኩን፡ ነቢየ፡ ህየንቴከ።
又膏寧示的孫子耶戶作以色列王，並膏亞伯‧米何拉人沙法的兒子以利沙作先知接續你。
Anoint Jehu the son of Nimshi to be king over Israel; and anoint Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abel Meholah to be prophet in your place.
19:17
ወዘአምሰጠ፡ እምነ፡ ኲናተ፡ አዛሔል፡ ይቅትሎ፡ ኢዩ፡ ወዘአምሰጠ፡ እምነ፡ ኲናተ፡ ኢዩ፡ ይቅትሎ፡ ኤልሳዕ።
將來躲避哈薛之刀的，必被耶戶所殺；躲避耶戶之刀的，必被以利沙所殺。
He who escapes from the sword of Hazael, Jehu will kill; and he who escapes from the sword of Jehu, Elisha will kill.
19:18
ወታተርፍ፡ ፸፻ብእሴ፡ ኵሎ፡ እለ፡ ኢሰገዲ፡ ለበዐል፡ ወኵሉ፡ አፍ፡ ዘኢያመልኮ።
但我在以色列人中為自己留下七千人，是未曾向巴力屈膝的，未曾與巴力親嘴的。」
Yet I reserved seven thousand in Israel, all the knees of which have not bowed to Baal, and every mouth that has not kissed him.”
19:19
ወሖረ፡ ህየ፡ ወረከቦ፡ ለኤልሳዕ፡ ወልደ፡ ሳፍጥ፡ እንዘ፡ የሐርሱ፡ ቅድሜሁ፡ ፲ወ፪አልህምት፡ ወውእቱ፡ ላዕለ፡ ኵሎሙ፡ ወሖረ፡ ወገደፈ፡ ላዕሌሁ፡ ሐሜላቶ።
於是，以利亞離開那裏走了，遇見沙法的兒子以利沙耕地；在他前頭有十二對牛，自己趕着第十二對。以利亞到他那裏去，將自己的外衣搭在他身上。
So he departed from there and found Elisha the son of Shaphat, who was plowing with twelve yoke of oxen before him, and he with the twelfth. Elijah went over to him and put his mantle on him.
19:20
ወኀደገ፡ ኤልሳዕ፡ ጽምደ፡ አልህምት፡ ወሖረ፡ ወተለዎ፡ ለኤልያስ፡ ወይቤሎ፡ ኣፈቅረከ፡ አቡየ፡ ወእተሉ፡ ድኅሬከ፡ ወይቤሎ፡ ኤልያስ፡ ግባእ፡ እስመ፡ ወዓልየ፡ ረሰይኩከ።
以利沙就離開牛，跑到以利亞那裏，說：「求你容我先與父母親嘴，然後我便跟隨你。」以利亞對他說：「你回去吧，我向你做了甚麼呢？」
Elisha left the oxen and ran after Elijah, and said, “Let me please kiss my father and my mother, and then I will follow you.” He said to him, “Go back again; for what have I done to you?”
19:21
ወገብአ፡ እምኀበ፡ ይተልዎ፡ ወነሥአ፡ ጽምደ፡ አልህምቲሁ፡ ወጠብሐ፡ ወአብሰለ፡ በጽህራት፡ ዘአልህምተ፡ ወአቅረበ፡ ለሕዝብ፡ ወበልዑ፡ ወሖረ፡ ወተለዎ፡ ለኤልያስ፡ ወኮኖ፡ ወዓሌሁ።
以利沙就離開他回去，宰了一對牛，用套牛的器具煮肉給民吃，隨後就起身跟隨以利亞，服事他。
He returned from following him, and took the yoke of oxen, killed them, and boiled their meat with the oxen’s equipment, and gave to the people; and they ate. Then he arose, and went after Elijah, and served him.
