9:1

ወእምዝ፡ ሶበ፡ ፈጸመ፡ ሰሎሞን፡ ሐኒጸ፡ ቤተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወቤተ፡ መንግሥቱ፡ ወኵሉ፡ ግብሩ፡ ዘፈቀደ፡ ሰሎሞን፡ ይግበር ፤

所羅門建造耶和華殿和王宮，並一切所願意建造的都完畢了，

When Solomon had finished the building of Yahweh’s house, the king’s house, and all Solomon’s desire which he was pleased to do,

9:2

አስተርአዮ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ለሰሎሞን፡ ዳግመ፡ በከመ፡ አስተርአዮ፡ በገባኦን።

耶和華就二次向所羅門顯現，如先前在基遍向他顯現一樣，

Yahweh appeared to Solomon the second time, as he had appeared to him at Gibeon.

9:3

ወይቤሎ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ሰማዕኩ፡ ጸሎተከ፡ ወስእለተከ፡ ዘሰአልከ፡ ቅድሜየ፡ ወገበርኩ፡ ለከ፡ በከመ፡ ኵሉ፡ ጸሎትከ፡ ወቀደስክዎ፡ ለዝንቱ፡ ቤት፡ ዘሐነጽከ፡ ከመ፡ የሀሉ፡ ስምየ፡ ህየ፡ ለዓለም፡ ወይሄልዋ፡ አዕይንትየ፡ ወልብየ፡ ህየ፡ በኵሉ፡ መዋዕል።

對他說：「你向我所禱告祈求的，我都應允了。我已將你所建的這殿分別為聖，使我的名永遠在其中；我的眼、我的心也必常在那裏。

Yahweh said to him, “I have heard your prayer and your supplication that you have made before me. I have made this house holy, which you have built, to put my name there forever; and my eyes and my heart shall be there perpetually.

9:4

ወአንተኒ፡ ለእመ፡ ሖርከ፡ ቅድሜየ፡ ከመ፡ ሖረ፡ ዳዊት፡ በጽድቅ፡ ወበንጽሓ፡ ወበርትዕ፡ በኵሉ፡ መዋዕል፡ ወከመ፡ ትግበር፡ ኵሎ፡ ዘአዘዝኩከ፡ ወትዕቀብ፡ ሕግየ፡ ወትእዛዝየ ፤

你若效法你父大衛，存誠實正直的心行在我面前，遵行我一切所吩咐你的，謹守我的律例典章，

As for you, if you will walk before me as David your father walked, in integrity of heart and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded you, and will keep my statutes and my ordinances,

9:5

ወኣቀውም፡ መንበረ፡ መንግሥትከ፡ ላዕለ፡ እስራኤል፡ ለዓለም፡ በከመ፡ እቤሎ፡ ለዳዊት፡ አቡከ፡ ኢያጠፍእ፡ ብእሴ፡ እምኔከ፡ ዘይሰፍን፡ ለእስራኤል።

我就必堅固你的國位在以色列中，直到永遠，正如我應許你父大衛說：『你的子孫必不斷人坐以色列的國位。』

then I will establish the throne of your kingdom over Israel forever, as I promised to David your father, saying, ‘There shall not fail from you a man on the throne of Israel.’

9:6

ወእመሰ፡ ተመየጥክሙ፡ ወኀደግሙኒ፡ ወገባእክሙ፡ ድኅሬክሙ፡ አንትሙሂ፡ ወውሉድክሙሂ፡ ወኀደግሙኒ፡ ወኢዐቀብክሙ፡ ትእዛዝየ፡ ወሕግየ፡ ዘወሀብክዎ፡ ለሙሴ፡ በቅድሜክሙ፡ ወሖርክሙ፡ ወተቀነይክሙ፡ ለባዕድ፡ አማልክት፡ ወስገድክሙ፡ ሎሙ ፤

倘若你們和你們的子孫轉去不跟從我，不守我指示你們的誡命律例，去事奉敬拜別神，

But if you turn away from following me, you or your children, and not keep my commandments and my statutes which I have set before you, but go and serve other gods and worship them,

9:7

ወእደመስሶሙ፡ ለእስራኤል፡ እምነ፡ ምድር፡ እንተ፡ ወሀብክዎሙ፡ ወዘንተኒ፡ ቤተ፡ ዘቀደስኩ፡ ለስምየ፡ እገድፎ፡ እምቅድመ፡ ገጽየ፡ ወይከውን፡ እስራኤል፡ ለሙስና፡ ወለነገር፡ ውስተ፡ ኵሉ፡ አሕዛብ።

我就必將以色列人從我賜給他們的地上剪除，並且我為己名所分別為聖的殿也必捨棄不顧，使以色列人在萬民中作笑談，被譏誚。

then I will cut off Israel out of the land which I have given them; and I will cast this house, which I have made holy for my name, out of my sight; and Israel will be a proverb and a byword among all peoples.

9:8

ወዝንቱኒ፡ ቤት፡ ዘልዑል፡ ኵሉ፡ ዘየኀልፍ፡ እንተ፡ ኀቤሁ፡ ይደነግፅ፡ ወይትፋጸይ፡ ወይብሉ፡ በበይነ፡ ምንት፡ ገብራ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ለዛቲ፡ ምድር፡ ወለዛቲ፡ ቤት።

這殿雖然甚高，將來經過的人必驚訝、嗤笑，說：『耶和華為何向這地和這殿如此行呢？』

Though this house is so high, yet everyone who passes by it will be astonished and hiss; and they will say, ‘Why has Yahweh done this to this land and to this house?’

9:9

ወይብሉ፡ እስመ፡ ኀደግዎ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ አምላኮሙ፡ ዘአውፅኦሙ፡ ለአበዊሆሙ፡ እምነ፡ ግብጽ፡ እምነ፡ ቤተ፡ ቅንየት፡ ወተለዉ፡ አማልክተ፡ ነኪር፡ ወሰገዱ፡ ወተቀንዩ፡ ሎሙ፡ ወበበይነ፡ ዝንቱ፡ አምጽኣ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ላዕሌሆሙ፡ ለዛቲ፡ እኪት። ወይእተ፡ አሚረ፡ አእተዋ፡ ሰሎሞን፡ ለወለተ፡ ፈርዖን፡ ውስተ፡ ቤት፡ ዘሐነጸ፡ ሎቱ፡ በእማንቱ፡ መዋዕል፡ እምነ፡ ሀገረ፡ ዳዊት።

人必回答說：『是因此地的人離棄領他們列祖出埃及地之耶和華－他們的上帝，去親近別神，事奉敬拜他，所以耶和華使這一切災禍臨到他們。』」

and they will answer, ‘Because they abandoned Yahweh their God, who brought their fathers out of the land of Egypt, and embraced other gods, and worshiped them, and served them. Therefore Yahweh has brought all this evil on them.’”
