9:1

ወበእንተሰ መልእክተ ቅዱሳን ብዙኅ ብየ ዘእጽሕፍ ለክሙ።

論到供給聖徒的事，我不必寫信給你們；

It is indeed unnecessary for me to write to you concerning the service to the saints,

9:2

እስመ አእመርኩ ከመ ትጽሕቁ አንትሙ ወበእንተዝ ንእድኩክሙ በኀበ ሰብአ መቄዶንያ ወእቤሎሙ እስመ ሰብአ አካይያ አስተዳለዉ እምቀዳሚ ዓም ወናሁ አጽሐቆሙ ተቃሕዎተ ዚኣክሙ ለብዙኃን ሰብእ።

因為我知道你們樂意的心，常對馬其頓人誇獎你們，說亞該亞人預備好了，已經有一年了；並且你們的熱心激動了許多人。

for I know your readiness, of which I boast on your behalf to those of Macedonia, that Achaia has been prepared for the past year. Your zeal has stirred up very many of them.

9:3

ወፈነውናሆሙ ለአኀው ከመ ኢይኩነነ ሐሰተ በኀቤሆሙ ዘንእድናክሙ በዝንቱ ወከመ ይርከቡክሙ ድልዋኒክሙ በከመ ንቤሎሙ።

但我打發那幾位弟兄去，要叫你們照我的話預備妥當，免得我們在這事上誇獎你們的話落了空。

But I have sent the brothers so that our boasting on your behalf may not be in vain in this respect, that, just as I said, you may be prepared,

9:4

ወእመቦ ከመ መጽኡ ምስሌየ ሰብአ መቄዶንያ ወረከቡክሙ ዘእንበለ ታስተዳልዉ ንትኀፈር ንሕነኒ ወለክሙኒ ከመ ኢይበሉክሙ አስተትክሙ።

萬一有馬其頓人與我同去，見你們沒有預備，就叫我們所確信的，反成了羞愧；你們羞愧，更不用說了。

lest by any means, if anyone from Macedonia comes there with me and finds you unprepared, we (to say nothing of you) would be disappointed in this confident boasting.

9:5

አስተበቍዐክሙ አኀዊነ ግብረ ረስይዎ ወአስተዳልዉ ውእተ በረከተክሙ ወሥርዑ ዘነገርኩክሙ እንተ ባቲ ድልዋን አንትሙ ወከመዝ ረስይዎ ከመ ዘበረከት ወአኮ ከመ ዘበትዕግልት።

因此，我想不得不求那幾位弟兄先到你們那裏去，把從前所應許的捐資預備妥當，就顯出你們所捐的是出於樂意，不是出於勉強。

I thought it necessary therefore to entreat the brothers that they would go before to you and arrange ahead of time the generous gift that you promised before, that the same might be ready as a matter of generosity, and not of greediness.

9:6

ወዘሰ ጠዊዖ ይዘርዖ ለዝንቱ ከማሁ ይጠውዖ ሎቱኒ ማእረሩ ወዘሰ በበረከት ይዘርዕ በበረከት የአርር።

「少種的少收，多種的多收」，這話是真的。

Remember this: he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly. He who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.

9:7

ወኵሉ በከመ አደሞ ልቡ ይግበር እስመ ኢኮነ በአገብሮ ዳእሙ በፍሥሓ ለየሀቡ እስመ ከማሁ ያፈቅር እግዚአብሔር።

各人要隨本心所酌定的，不要作難，不要勉強，因為捐得樂意的人是上帝所喜愛的。

Let each man give according as he has determined in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

9:8

ወይክል እግዚአብሔር አፈድፍዶ ለክሙ ኵሎ በረከቶ ከመ ያብዝኅ ለዝሉፉ ወታተርፍዎ ለኵሉ ወታፈደፍዱ በገቢረ ሠናይ።

上帝能將各樣的恩惠多多地加給你們，使你們凡事常常充足，能多行各樣善事。

And God is able to make all grace abound to you, that you, always having all sufficiency in everything, may abound to every good work.

9:9

በከመ ይቤ መጽሐፍ «ዘረወ ወወሀበ ለነዳይ ወጽድቁኒ ይነብር ለዓለም።»

如經上所記：他施捨錢財，賙濟貧窮；他的仁義存到永遠。

As it is written, “He has scattered abroad. He has given to the poor. His righteousness remains forever.”
