2:1
ወከመዝ፡ አርአያ፡ አምሳለ፡ ስብሐቲሁ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር። ወርእይየ፡ ወደቁ፡ በገጽየ፡ ወሰማዕኩ፡ ቃለ፡ ዘይብለኒ፡ አንተ፡ ወልደ፡ እጓለ፡ እመሕያው፡ ቁም፡ በእገሪከ፡ ወእነግረከ።
他對我說：「人子啊，你站起來，我要和你說話。」
He said to me, “Son of man, stand on your feet, and I will speak with you.”
2:2
ወመጽአ፡ መንፈስ፡ ላዕሌየ፡ ሶበ፡ ይትናገረኒ፡ ወአንሥአኒ፡ ወአቀመኒ፡ በእገርየ፡ ወሰማዕክዎ፡ ይብለኒ።
他對我說話的時候，靈就進入我裏面，使我站起來，我便聽見那位對我說話的聲音。
The Spirit entered into me when he spoke to me, and set me on my feet; and I heard him who spoke to me.
2:3
አንተ፡ ወልደ፡ እጓለ፡ እመሕያው፡ ናሁ፡ እፌንወከ፡ ኀበ፡ ቤተ፡ እስራኤል፡ እለ፡ አምረሩኒ፡ እሙንቱ፡ ወአበዊሆሙኒ፡ ወዐለዉኒ፡ እስከ፡ ዮም።
他對我說：「人子啊，我差你往悖逆的國民以色列人那裏去。他們是悖逆我的，他們和他們的列祖違背我，直到今日。
He said to me, “Son of man, I send you to the children of Israel, to a nation of rebels who have rebelled against me. They and their fathers have transgressed against me even to this very day.
2:4
ደቂቆሙ፡ ለጽኑዓነ፡ ገጽ፡ ወእኩያነ፡ ልብ፡ ወእፌንወከ፡ ኀቤሆሙ። ወበሎሙ፡ ከመዝ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ እግዚእ።
這眾子面無羞恥，心裏剛硬。我差你往他們那裏去，你要對他們說：主耶和華如此說。
The children are impudent and stiff-hearted. I am sending you to them, and you shall tell them, ‘This is what the Lord Yahweh says.’
2:5
እመ፡ ይሰምዑ፡ ወይፈርሁ፡ እስመ፡ ቤተ፡ መሪራን፡ እሙንቱ፡ ወየአምሩ፡ ከመ፡ ነቢይ፡ አንተ፡ በማእከሎሙ።
他們或聽，或不聽，（他們是悖逆之家），必知道在他們中間有了先知。
They, whether they will hear, or whether they will refuse—for they are a rebellious house—yet they will know that there has been a prophet among them.
2:6
ወአንተ፡ ወልደ፡ እጓለ፡ እመሕያው፡ ኢትፍራህ፡ እምኔሆሙ፡ ወኢትደንግፅ፡ እምቃሎሙ፡ እስመ፡ ይረውዱከ፡ ወይቀውሙ፡ በላዕሌከ፡ ወየዐግቱከ፡ ወትነብር፡ ማእከለ፡ አቃርብት። ወኢትፍራህ፡ እምቃሎሙ፡ ወኢትደንግፅ፡ እምገጾሙ፡ እስመ፡ ቤተ፡ መሪራን፡ እሙንቱ።
人子啊，雖有荊棘和蒺藜在你那裏，你又住在蠍子中間，總不要怕他們，也不要怕他們的話；他們雖是悖逆之家，還不要怕他們的話，也不要因他們的臉色驚惶。
You, son of man, don’t be afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns are with you, and you dwell among scorpions. Don’t be afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they are a rebellious house.
2:7
ወትነግሮሙ፡ ቃልየ፡ እመ፡ ይሰምዑ፡ ወይደነግፁ፡ እስመ፡ ቤተ፡ መሪራን፡ እሙንቱ።
他們或聽，或不聽，你只管將我的話告訴他們；他們是極其悖逆的。
You shall speak my words to them, whether they will hear or whether they will refuse; for they are most rebellious.
2:8
ወአንተ፡ ወልደ፡ እጓለ፡ እመሕያው፡ ስማዕ፡ ዘእነግረከ፡ ወኢትኩን፡ መሪረ፡ ከመ፡ ቤተ፡ መሪራን። ወአብቁ፡ አፉከ፡ ወብላዕ፡ ዘአነ፡ እሁበከ።
「人子啊，要聽我對你所說的話，不要悖逆像那悖逆之家，你要開口吃我所賜給你的。」
But you, son of man, hear what I tell you. Don’t be rebellious like that rebellious house. Open your mouth, and eat that which I give you.”
2:9
ወርኢኩ፡ እድ፡ መጽአ፡ ኀቤየ፡ ወውስቴቱ፡ መጽሐፍ፡ ወከሠታ፡ በቅድሜየ፡ ወጽሕፍት፡ ይእቲ፡ ውሥጣኒ፡ ወአፍአሃኒ፡ ወይብል፡ መጽሐፉ፡ ላሕ፡ ወብካይ፡ ወወይሌ።
我觀看，見有一隻手向我伸出來，手中有一書卷。
When I looked, behold, a hand was stretched out to me; and behold, a scroll of a book was in it.
