15:1
ወእደ፡ ተናገረ፡ ኤልፋዝ፡ ተሰጥወ፡ ወይቤ።
Then Eliphaz the Temanite answered,
提幔人以利法回答說：
15:2
ቀዳሚሁ፡ ጥበብ፡ ያወሥእ፡ ዘይሔሊ፡ መንፈስ፡ ወአጽገብካ፡ የዕረ፡ ለነፍስነ፡ ወለሥጋነ።
“Should a wise man answer with vain knowledge, and fill himself with the east wind?
智慧人豈可用虛空的知識回答， 用東風充滿肚腹呢？
15:3
ወትወቅስ፡ ነገር፡ ከንቶ፡ ወትነብብ፡ ዘኢይበቊዕ፡፡ 4፡ አኮኑ፡ ለሊክ፡ ኢፈራህካሁ፡ ከመ፡ ትንብብ፡ ዘከመዝ፡ ነገር፡ ቅድመ፡ እግዚአብሔር።
Should he reason with unprofitable talk, or with speeches with which he can do no good?
他豈可用無益的話 和無濟於事的言語理論呢？
15:5
መጠንከ፡ አኮ፡ እምቃለ፡ አፉከ፡ ወኢፈለጥከ፡ ነገረ፡ ዓበይት።
For your iniquity teaches your mouth, and you choose the language of the crafty.
你的罪孽指教你的口； 你選用詭詐人的舌頭。
15:6
ወይዛለፈከ፡ ቃለ፡ አፍከ፡ ወአኮ፡ አ፡ ወከናፍሪክ፡ ማሕተትከ።
Your own mouth condemns you, and not I. Yes, your own lips testify against you.
你自己的口定你有罪，並非是我； 你自己的嘴見證你的不是。
15:7
ቦኑ፡ እምሰብእክ፡ ቀደምክ፡ ተፈጥሮ፡ አው፡ ከመ፡ አስሐትያኑ፡ ጠጋአከ።
“Are you the first man who was born? Or were you brought out before the hills?
你豈是頭一個被生的人嗎？ 你受造在諸山之先嗎？
15:8
ወትእዛዘ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ሰማዕክ፡ ወበኅቤክኑ፡ ተዘግበት፡ ጥበብ፡፡ 9፡ ወምንተ፡ ተአምር፡ ዘኢነአምር፡ ንሕነ፡ ወምንተ፡ ትሌሁ፡ ዘኢንሌሁ፡ ንሕነ።
Have you heard the secret counsel of God? Do you limit wisdom to yourself?
你曾聽見上帝的密旨嗎？ 你還將智慧獨自得盡嗎？
15:10
ወሬዛኒ፡ ወልሂቅኒ፡ በኅቤነ፡ ሀለው፡ ወዘይረስዕ፡ እምአቡክ፡ በምዋዕሊሁ።
With us are both the gray-headed and the very aged men, much older than your father.
我們這裏有白髮的和年紀老邁的， 比你父親還老。
15:11
እመሂ፡ ኅዳጠ፡ አበስከ፡ ተቀሠፍከ፡ ወኢኮነዝ፡ ነገር፡ ዘነበብከ፡ በአምጣንከ።
Are the consolations of God too small for you, even the word that is gentle toward you?
上帝用溫和的話安慰你， 你以為太小嗎？
15:12
እፎኑ፡ እንከ፡ ተሀበለ፡ ልብከ፡ ከመ፡ ትትዋሣእ፡ በመዓት፡ ቅድመ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወዘከመዝ፡ ነገረ፡ ታወዕእ፡ እምአፉከወምንተ፡ ርአያ፡ አዕይንቲከ።
Why does your heart carry you away? Why do your eyes flash,
你的心為何將你逼去？ 你的眼為何冒出火星，
15:13
መኑ፡ መዋቲ፡ ዘይነጽሕ፡ እምኃጢአት፡ ወመኑ፡ ጻድቅ፡ ዘይትወለድ፡ እምአንስት።
that you turn your spirit against God, and let such words go out of your mouth?
使你的靈反對上帝， 也任你的口發這言語？
15:14
ኅድግስ፡ ሰብአ፡ ርኩስ፡ ወርሱሕ፡ ዘይሠርባ፡ ለኃጢአት፡ ለቅዱሳን፡ ጥቀ፡ ኢይትአመኖሙ፡ ሰማይኒ፡ ኢኮነ፡ ንጹሐ፡ በቅድሜሁ፡፡ 15፡ ስምዓኒ፡ አንግርከ፡ ወአይጽዕከ፡ ዘርኢኩ፡ ወዘነገሩ፡ ጠቢባን፡ ወኢኃብኡ፡ ለውሉዶሙ፡ አበዊሆሙ፡ እስመ፡ ለባሕቲቶሙ፡ ተውህበት፡ ምድር፡ ወኢኅለፈ፡ ካልእ፡ ሕዝብ፡ እምኔሆሙ።
What is man, that he should be clean? What is he who is born of a woman, that he should be righteous?
人是甚麼，竟算為潔淨呢？ 婦人所生的是甚麼，竟算為義呢？
15:16
ኵሉ፡ መዋዕሊሁ፡ ለኃጥአ፡ ይትሔዘብ፡ ወመዋዕሊሁኒ፡ ወዓመታቲሁኒ፡ በኁልቊ፡ ይትወሀቦ።
how much less one who is abominable and corrupt, a man who drinks iniquity like water!
何況那污穢可憎、 喝罪孽如水的世人呢！
15:17
ለኃይል፡ ትግርምቱ፡ ያወድቆ፡ አመ፡ ተሰፈወ፡ ዳኅነ፡ ይንበር፡ ይትገፈታፅ፡፡ 18፡ ወአልቦ፡ ተስፋ፡ ወጺአ፡ እምጽልመት፡ ወድአ፡ ተአዘዘ፡ ውስተ፡ አደ፡ ሐሂን።
“I will show you, listen to me; that which I have seen I will declare
我指示你，你要聽； 我要述說所看見的，
15:19
ወተውሀበ፡ መብልህ፡ ለአንስርት፡ ወኢየአምር፡ ለሊሁ፡ ከመ፡ ድቀት፡ ይጸንሖ፡ መቅሰፍት፡ ወድልመት።
to whom alone the land was given, and no stranger passed among them):
這地惟獨賜給他們， 並沒有外人從他們中間經過。）
15:20
ወያጸድፎ፡ እምቤቱ፡ ሕማም፡ ወምንዳቤ፡ ከመ፡ መልእክ፡ ዘይቀድም፡ ተሠይሞ፡ ወየኃሥር፡ እስመ፡ አፅበየ፡ እዴሁ፡ ቅድመ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወአግዘፈ፡ ክሳዶ፡ ቅድመ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ዘኵሎ፡ ይመልክ፡፡ 21፡ ወትረውዕ፡ ኃሣሩ፡ ቅድሜሁ፡ ወውስተ፡ ራኅበ፡ ዘበኑ፡ ኅይሉ።
the wicked man writhes in pain all his days, even the number of years that are laid up for the oppressor.
惡人一生之日劬勞痛苦； 強暴人一生的年數也是如此。
15:22
ወይከድኖ፡ ሞት፡ በኃሊፎቱ፡ ወይጠብቆ፡ ውስተ፡ ሐቌሁ፡ ወይነብር፡ ውስተ፡ አህጉረ፡ ሐቅል፡ ወይበይት፡ ውስተ፡ ቤት፡ ምዝቡር፡ ወዘውእቱ፡ አስረዳለወ፡ ባዕድ፡ ይበልፆ፡፡ 23፡ ይብዕልሂ፡ ወኢይጐነዲ፡ ብዕሉ፡ ወኢይገቡር፡ ጽላሎተ፡ በዲበ፡ ምድር።
He doesn’t believe that he will return out of darkness. He is waited for by the sword.
他不信自己能從黑暗中轉回； 他被刀劍等候。
15:24
ወኢያመሥጥ፡ አምጽልመት፡ ለሥርውሂ፡ ያየብሶ፡ ነፋስ፡ ወይወድቅ፡ ፍሬሁ።
Distress and anguish make him afraid. They prevail against him, as a king ready to the battle.
急難困苦叫他害怕， 而且勝了他，好像君王預備上陣一樣。
15:25
ወኢይሴፎ፡ ሐይወ፡ ወዘተሰፈዎሂ፡ ያኃሥሮ፡ ወይወድቅ፡፡ 26፡ ወይትበላዕ፡ ቆሁ፡ ለምዕር፡ ወይወድቅ፡ ከመ፡ ፍሬ፡ ዘይት።
Because he has stretched out his hand against God, and behaves himself proudly against the Almighty,
他伸手攻擊上帝， 以驕傲攻擊全能者，
15:27
ማሕተቶሙ፡ ለኃጥአን፡ ሞት፡ አሳት፡ ያውዒ፡ ቤተ፡ እለይነሥእ፡ ሕልያነ፡ በዓመፃ፡፡ 28፡ በከርሦሙ፡ ይጸንሱ፡ ፃፅረ፡ ወትመልስ፡ ከርሦሙ፡ ጒኅሉተ።
because he has covered his face with his fatness, and gathered fat on his thighs.
是因他的臉蒙上脂油， 腰積成肥肉。
