13:1
ናሁ፡ ዝ፡ ዘርእየት፡ ዓይንየ፡ ወዘሰምዐት፡ ዕዝንየ።
“Behold, my eye has seen all this. My ear has heard and understood it.
這一切，我眼都見過； 我耳都聽過，而且明白。
13:2
ወኣአምር፡ ዘከመ፡ ተአምሩ፡ እንትሙ፡ ወእምኔክሙሂ፡ ኢየዓብድ።
What you know, I know also. I am not inferior to you.
你們所知道的，我也知道， 並非不及你們。
13:3
ወባሕቱ፡ አንሳ፡ ኀበ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ እነግር፡ ወእትዋቅሥ፡ ቅድሜሁ፡ ለእመ፡ ፈቀደ፡፡ 4፡ አንተስ፡ ዓቀብተ፡ ሥራይ፡ ዘዓመፃ፡ ወመናዝዛን፡ ለእኪት፡ ኵልክሙ።
“Surely I would speak to the Almighty. I desire to reason with God.
我真要對全能者說話； 我願與上帝理論。
13:5
ኢይረትዓኒ፡ አጽምአክሙ፡ እስመ፡ ጠፍአት፡ ጥበብ፡ እምኔክሙ።
Oh that you would be completely silent! Then you would be wise.
惟願你們全然不作聲； 這就算為你們的智慧！
13:6
ስምዑኒ፡ ቅስተ፡ አፉየ፡ ወአጽምኡኒ፡ ፍትሐ፡ ከናፍርየ።
Hear now my reasoning. Listen to the pleadings of my lips.
請你們聽我的辯論， 留心聽我口中的分訴。
13:7
ወይእዜኒ፡ አኮኑ፡ ቅድመ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ትነብሩ፡ ወታየድሁ፡ ጕኅኩተ፡ በቅድሜሁ፡ ወትትገኃሡ፡ እምኔሁ፡ እስኩ፡ ለሊክሙ፡ ፍትሑ።
Will you speak unrighteously for God, and talk deceitfully for him?
你們要為上帝說不義的話嗎？ 為他說詭詐的言語嗎？
13:8
ሠናይኑ፡ እመ፡ የሐትቱክሙ፡ እንዘ፡ ትገብሩ፡ ኵሎ፡ ኪያሁ፡ ተኃሥሡ።
Will you show partiality to him? Will you contend for God?
你們要為上帝徇情嗎？ 要為他爭論嗎？
13:9
በምንትኑ፡ ታስማስልዎ፡ ከመትትዋቀሱ፡ ሎቱ፡ ለገጽለሰ፡ ታደልዉ፡ ወለፌ፡ ተኀብኡ፡ እምቅሜሁ።
Is it good that he should search you out? Or as one deceives a man, will you deceive him?
他查出你們來，這豈是好嗎？ 人欺哄人，你們也要照樣欺哄他嗎？
13:10
ቀዳሜሁ፡ አኮኑ፡ ኃይሉ፡ ያፈርሀክሙ፡ ወይመጽአክሙ፡ ግሩም፡ እምኀቤሁ።
He will surely reprove you if you secretly show partiality.
你們若暗中徇情， 他必要責備你們。
13:11
ዘለፋክሙኒ፡ ኃላፊ፡ ከመ፡ ሐመድ፡ ወሥጋክሙኒ፡ መሬት።
Won’t his majesty make you afraid and his dread fall on you?
他的尊榮豈不叫你們懼怕嗎？ 他的驚嚇豈不臨到你們嗎？
13:12
ተጸመሙኒ፡ እንብብ፡ ወእስኀት፡ እምኅምዝ።
Your memorable sayings are proverbs of ashes. Your defenses are defenses of clay.
你們以為可記念的箴言是爐灰的箴言； 你們以為可靠的堅壘是淤泥的堅壘。
13:13
ወአስተጋብኣ፡ ለሥጋየ፡ በስነንየ፡ ወአጠውቃ፡ ለነፍስየ፡ በእዴየ።
“Be silent! Leave me alone, that I may speak. Let come on me what will.
你們不要作聲，任憑我吧！ 讓我說話，無論如何我都承當。
13:14
ወእምዕዑብ፡ አትሜጠዋ፡ ለልብስየ፡ ወአመሰ፡ ኢተመጠውክዋ፡ በኃይል፡ እመ፡ እምኢተንሠአት፡ ወእመ፡ አኮሰ፡ እነግር፡ ወእትዋቀሥ፡ ቅድሜሁ።
Why should I take my flesh in my teeth, and put my life in my hand?
我何必把我的肉掛在牙上， 將我的命放在手中。
13:15
ወዝንቱኒ፡ ይከውነኒ፡ መድኀኒተ፡ እስመ፡ ኢይበውእ፡ ቅድሜሁ፡ ትምይንት።
Behold, he will kill me. I have no hope. Nevertheless, I will maintain my ways before him.
他必殺我；我雖無指望， 然而我在他面前還要辯明我所行的。
13:16
ስንዑኒ፡ ቃልየ፡ ወአነ፡ እነግረክሙ፡ እንዘ፡ ታጸምኡኒ።
This also will be my salvation, that a godless man will not come before him.
這要成為我的拯救， 因為不虔誠的人不得到他面前。
13:17
ናሁ፡ አነ፡ ቀረብኩ፡ ኀበፍትሕየ፡ ወአእምር፡ አነ፡ ከመ፡ ታስተርኢ፡ ጽድቅየ።
Listen carefully to my speech. Let my declaration be in your ears.
你們要細聽我的言語， 使我所辯論的入你們的耳中。
13:18
ወመኑ፡ ውእቱ፡ ዘተዕፅረ፡ ከመ፡ እጸመም፡ ይእዜ፡ ወአረምም፡ እከውን፡ ከመ፡ ዓብድ፡ ወአትኃባእኑ፡ እምገጽከ።
See now, I have set my cause in order. I know that I am righteous.
我已陳明我的案， 知道自己有義。
13:19
ወአእትት፡ እምኔየ፡ እዴክ፡ ወአያጥቀኒ፡ ግርማክ፡፡ 20፡ ትጼውዓኒ፡ ወአነ፡ አሰጠወከ፡ ወእመሂ፡ ተናገርከኒ፡ አነሂ፡ አወሥአከ።
Who is he who will contend with me? For then I would hold my peace and give up the spirit.
有誰與我爭論， 我就情願緘默不言，氣絕而亡。
13:21
ወሚመጠን፡ እማንቱ፡ ኃጣውእየ፡ ወአበሳየ፡ እርአየኒኬ፡ ምንት፡ እማንቱ።
withdraw your hand far from me, and don’t let your terror make me afraid.
就是把你的手縮回，遠離我身； 又不使你的驚惶威嚇我。
13:22
ወለምት፡ ትሤውር፡ እምኔየ፡ ወትሬስየኒ፡ ጸላኢክ።
Then call, and I will answer, or let me speak, and you answer me.
這樣，你呼叫，我就回答； 或是讓我說話，你回答我。
13:23
ወከመ፡ ቈጽል፡ ዘይትነገፍ፡ እምነፋስ፡ ተሐፍሰኒ፡ ወከመ፡ ሣዕር፡ ዘይነሥአ፡ ነፋስ፡ ታሠርረኒ፡ ሣዕረኑ፡ ወብርሀ፡ ዘይየብስ፡ ትዴግን።
How many are my iniquities and sins? Make me know my disobedience and my sin.
我的罪孽和罪過有多少呢？ 求你叫我知道我的過犯與罪愆。
13:24
እስመ፡ ጸሐፍከ፡ አከይየ፡ ሰዘላዕሌየ፡ ወዓቀብከ፡ ሊተ፡ ኃጢኤትየ፡ ዘንአስየ፡ ወዐቅነትከኒ፡ ወአቀምኮን፡ ውስተ፡ ዳኅዕ፡ ለአገርየ።
Why do you hide your face, and consider me your enemy?
你為何掩面、 拿我當仇敵呢？
13:25
ወሤምከ፡ ሊኰ፡ ምግባርየ፡ ወሶበ፡ ቆመት፡ እግርየ፡ ኅደገኒ።
Will you harass a driven leaf? Will you pursue the dry stubble?
你要驚動被風吹的葉子嗎？ 要追趕枯乾的碎稭嗎？
