32:1

ወአርመሙ፡ እሉ፡ ሠለስቱ፡ አዕርክቲሁ፡ ወኢያውሥእዎ፡ ለኢዮብ፡ እንከ፡ እስመ፡ ይጼደቅ፡ ኢዮብ፡ በቅድሜሁ።

So these three men ceased to answer Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.

於是這三個人，因約伯自以為義就不再回答他。

32:2

ወተምዐ፡ ኤልዩስ፡ ወልደ፡ ብርክያል፡ ዘቡዝ፡ ዘሕዝበ፡ አራም፡ ዘብሔረ፡ አውስጢድ፡ ወተምዖ፡ ለኢዮብ፡ በሕቁ፡ እስመ፡ ይጼደቅ፡ ቅድመ፡ እግዚአብሔር።

Then the wrath of Elihu the son of Barachel, the Buzite, of the family of Ram, was kindled against Job. His wrath was kindled because he justified himself rather than God.

那時有布西人蘭族巴拉迦的兒子以利戶向約伯發怒；因約伯自以為義，不以上帝為義。

32:3

ወተምዖሙ፡ ጥቀ፡ ለሠለስቱ፡ አዕርክቲሁ፡ እስመ፡ ስእኑ፡ አውሥኦቶ፡ ለኢዮብ፡ ዘይትማሰላ፡ ለቃሉ፡ ለእንተ፡ ነበበ፡ ወረሰይዎ፡ ከመ፡ ዘኃጥእ።

Also his wrath was kindled against his three friends, because they had found no answer, and yet had condemned Job.

他又向約伯的三個朋友發怒；因為他們想不出回答的話來，仍以約伯為有罪。

32:4

ወጸንሖሙ፡ ኤልዩስ፡ ያውሥእዎ፡ ለኢዮብ፡ እስመ፡ ይልህቅዎ፡ በዋዕሊሆሙ።

Now Elihu had waited to speak to Job, because they were older than he.

以利戶要與約伯說話，就等候他們，因為他們比自己年老。

32:5

ወርእዮ፡ ኤልዩስ፡ ከመ፡ አልቦ፡ ነገር፡ ውስተ፡ አፈ፡ ሠለስቲቲሆሙ፡ እደው፡ ወተምዖሙ፡ በመዓቱ።

When Elihu saw that there was no answer in the mouth of these three men, his wrath was kindled.

以利戶見這三個人口中無話回答，就怒氣發作。

32:6

ወተሰጥወ፡ ኤልዩስ፡ ወልደ፡ ብርክያል፡ ዘቡዝ፡ ወይቤ፡ ንኡስ፡ አነ፡ በመዋዕልየ፡ ወአንትሙሰ፡ ልሂቃን፡ ወሊቃውንት፡ ወበእንተዝ፡ አርመምኩ፡ ፈሪህየ፡ ከመ፡ እንግርክሙ፡ ዘእሔሊ።

Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered, “I am young, and you are very old. Therefore I held back, and didn’t dare show you my opinion.

布西人巴拉迦的兒子以利戶回答說：我年輕，你們老邁；因此我退讓，不敢向你們陳說我的意見。

32:7

ወእቤ፡ ባሕቱ፡ አኮ፡ ዓመታት፡ ዘያስተባግራ፡ ዘብዝኀሂ፡ ክራማተ፡ ኢየአምራ፡ ለጥበብ፡፡ 8፡ ዳዕሙ፡ መንፈስ፡ ውእቱ፡ ዘላዕለ፡ መዋቲ፡ ወመንፈስ፡ ዘኵሎ፡ ይመልክ፡ ውእቱ፡ ይምህር።

I said, ‘Days should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom.’

我說，年老的當先說話；壽高的當以智慧教訓人。

32:9

አኮ፡ እለ፡ አብዝኁክራማተ፡ ጠቢባን፡ ሊቃውንትኒ፡ ኢየአምርዋ፡ ለፍትሕ።

It is not the great who are wise, nor the aged who understand justice.

尊貴的不都有智慧；壽高的不都能明白公平。
