34:1
ወደገመ ፡ ኤልዩስ ፡ ወይቤ ።
Moreover Elihu answered,
以利戶又說：
34:2
ስምዑኒ ፡ ጠቢባን ፡ ወአጽምኡኒ ፡ ሠናየ ፡ ማእምራን ።
“Hear my words, you wise men. Give ear to me, you who have knowledge.
你們智慧人要聽我的話； 有知識的人要留心聽我說。
34:3
እስመ ፡ ዕዝን ፡ ነገረ ፡ ይፈልጥ ፡ ወጕርዔኒ ፡ አክለ ፡ ይጥዕም ።
For the ear tries words, as the palate tastes food.
因為耳朵試驗話語， 好像上膛嘗食物。
34:4
ደይነ ፡ ንነሥእ ፡ ለርእስነ ፡ ወነአምር ፡ ምንተ ፡ ይኄይስ ፡ በማእከሌነ ።
Let us choose for us that which is right. Let us know among ourselves what is good.
我們當選擇何為是， 彼此知道何為善。
34:5
እስመ ፡ ይቤ ፡ ኢዮብ ፡ ጻድቅ ፡ አነ ፡ ወሠለጠ ፡ ሊተ ፡ ኵነኔ ፡ ፍትሕየ ፡ ወአሐምም ፡ በግፍዕ ፡ ዘአልብየ ፡ አበሳ ።
For Job has said, ‘I am righteous, God has taken away my right.
約伯曾說：我是公義， 上帝奪去我的理；
34:6
መኑ ፡ ሰብእ ፡ ከመ ፡ ኢዮብ ፡ ዘይሰትያ ፡ ለትዕግሥት ፡ ከመ ፡ ማይ ።
Notwithstanding my right I am considered a liar. My wound is incurable, though I am without disobedience.’
我雖有理，還算為說謊言的； 我雖無過，受的傷還不能醫治。
34:7
ኢአበሰ ፡ ወኢጌገየ ፡ ግሙራ ፡ ወኢተሳተፈ ፡ ምስለ ፡ ገበርተ ፡ ዓመፃ ፡ ወኢሖረ ፡ ምስለ ፡ ኃጥአን ።
What man is like Job, who drinks scorn like water,
誰像約伯， 喝譏誚如同喝水呢？
34:8
ወይቤ ፡ ኢይዋህይዎ ፡ ለሰብእ ፡ በሩዐቱ ፡ ቅድመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
who goes in company with the workers of iniquity, and walks with wicked men?
他與作孽的結伴， 和惡人同行。
34:9
ወይእዜኒ ፡ ስምዑኒ ፡ ጠቢባነልብ ፡ ወኢትፍቅዱ ፡ ተአብሱ ፡ ቅድመ ፡ እግዚአብሄር ፡ ወኢትሁክዎ ፡ ለጻድቅ ፡ በቅድመ ፡ ዘኵሎ ፡ ይመልክ ።
For he has said, ‘It profits a man nothing that he should delight himself with God.’
他說：人以上帝為樂， 總是無益。
34:10
ወይፈድዮ ፡ ለኵሉ ፡ ሰብእ ፡ በከመ ፡ ምግባሩ ፡ ወይረክቦ ፡ ለሰብእ ፡ በከመ ፡ ፍኖቱ ።
“Therefore listen to me, you men of understanding: far be it from God, that he should do wickedness, from the Almighty, that he should commit iniquity.
所以，你們明理的人要聽我的話。 上帝斷不致行惡； 全能者斷不致作孽。
34:11
ትሬስዮኑ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ ከመ ፡ ይገፍዕ ፡ ወዘኵሎ ፡ ይመልክ ፡ ከመ ፡ ይዌልጥ ፡ ፍትሐ ፡ ዘውእቱ ፡ ፈጠራ ፡ ለምድር ።
For the work of a man he will give to him, and cause every man to find according to his ways.
他必按人所做的報應人， 使各人照所行的得報。
34:12
መኑ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ዘገብረ ፡ ዘታሕተ ፡ ሰማይ ፡ ወኵሎ ፡ ዘውስቴታ ።
Yes surely, God will not do wickedly, neither will the Almighty pervert justice.
上帝必不作惡； 全能者也不偏離公平。
34:13
ወለእመ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ፈቀደ ፡ ያጸንዕ ፡ ወይእኅዝ ፡ መንፈሰ ፡ ዘኀቤሁ ።
Who put him in charge of the earth? Or who has appointed him over the whole world?
誰派他治理地， 安定全世界呢？
34:14
ወይመውት ፡ ኵሊ ፡ ዘሥጋ ፡ ኅቡረ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ መዋቲ ፡ ወውስተ ፡ መሬት ፡ ይገብእ ፡ እምኀበ ፡ ተፈጥረ ።
If he set his heart on himself, if he gathered to himself his spirit and his breath,
他若專心為己， 將靈和氣收歸自己，
34:15
ወእመአኮሰ ፡ ተገሠዕ ፡ ወስማዕ ፡ ዘንተ ፡ ነገረ ፡ ወአጽእ ፡ ቃለ ፡ በገርየ ፡ አንተ ።
all flesh would perish together, and man would turn again to dust.
凡有血氣的就必一同死亡； 世人必仍歸塵土。
34:16
ዝኩ ፡ ዘይጸልእ ፡ ዓመፃ ፡ ወዘያጠፍኦሙ ፡ ለእኩያን ፡ ዘለዓለም ፡ ጻድቅ ።
“If now you have understanding, hear this. Listen to the voice of my words.
你若明理，就當聽我的話， 留心聽我言語的聲音。
34:17
ጽሩፍ ፡ ዘይብሎ ፡ ለንጉሥ ፡ አበስከ ፡ ወእኩይ ፡ ብሂል ፡ ለመላእክተ ።
Should even one who hates justice govern? Will you condemn him who is righteous and mighty,
難道恨惡公平的可以掌權嗎？ 那有公義的、有大能的，豈可定他有罪嗎？
34:18
ዘኢየኃፍር ፡ ገጸ ፡ ክቡር ፡ ወዘኢየአምር ፡ አክብሮ ፡ ዓቢይ ፡ ወዘኢይጌግፅ ፡ እምገጾሙ ።
who says to a king, ‘Vile!’ or to nobles, ‘Wicked!’?
他對君王說：你是鄙陋的； 對貴臣說：你是邪惡的。
34:19
ከንቱ ፡ ይረክቦ ፡ ለዘይጽርሕ ፡ ወኢያጸምኦ ፡ ለሰብእ ፡ ወገብረ ፡ እኩየ ፡ ዲበ ፡ ምስኪናን ።
He doesn’t respect the persons of princes, nor respect the rich more than the poor, for they all are the work of his hands.
他待王子不徇情面， 也不看重富足的過於貧窮的， 因為都是他手所造。
34:20
ወለሊሁ ፡ ይሬኢ ፡ ምግባሮ ፡ ለሰብእ ፡ ወአልቦ ፡ ምንትኒ ፡ ዘይትኃባእ ፡ እምኔሁ ።
In a moment they die, even at midnight. The people are shaken and pass away. The mighty are taken away without a hand.
在轉眼之間，半夜之中， 他們就死亡。 百姓被震動而去世； 有權力的被奪去非借人手。
34:21
አልቦ ፡ ብሔር ፡ ኀበ ፡ ይትኃብእዎ ፡ ገበርተ ፡ ዓመፃ ፡ እስመ ፡ ኢያምሠጡ ፡ እንከ ፡ እምእግዚአብሔር ፡ ዘኵሎ ፡ ይሬኢ ።
“For his eyes are on the ways of a man. He sees all his goings.
上帝注目觀看人的道路， 看明人的腳步。
34:22
ወዘየአምር ፡ ዘአልቦ ፡ አሠር ፡ ክቡራተ ፡ ወመንክራተ ፡ ዘአልቦ ፡ ኍልቊ ።
There is no darkness, nor thick gloom, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.
沒有黑暗、陰翳能給作孽的藏身。
34:23
ወዘየአምር ፡ ምግባሮሙ ፡ ወያገብእ ፡ ሌሊተ ፡ ወየሐም ፡ ሞሙ ።
For he doesn’t need to consider a man further, that he should go before God in judgment.
上帝審判人，不必使人到他面前再三鑒察。
34:24
ወያጠፍኦሙ ፡ ለኃጥአን ፡ ጻድቃንሰ ፡ ቅድሙሁ ፡ እሙንቱ ።
He breaks mighty men in pieces in ways past finding out, and sets others in their place.
他用難測之法打破有能力的人， 設立別人代替他們。
34:25
ወእለሰ ፡ ተግኅሡ ፡ እምሕግ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ኢየአምሩ ፡ ኵነኔሁ ፡ ከመ ፡ ያግብእ ፡ ላዕሌሆሙ ፡ አውጣተ ፡ ነዳያን ፡ ወይሰምዕ ፡ ገዓረ ፡ ምስኪናን ።
Therefore he takes knowledge of their works. He overturns them in the night, so that they are destroyed.
他原知道他們的行為， 使他們在夜間傾倒滅亡。
34:26
ወውእቱ ፡ ይሁቦሙ ፡ ዕረፍተ ፡ ወመኑ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ዘይኴንን ፡ ወየሀብእ ፡ ገጾ ፡ ወአልቦ ፡ ዘይሬእዮ ፡ ለለሕዝቡ ፡ ወለለሰብኡ ፡ ኅቡረ ።
He strikes them as wicked men in the open sight of others;
他在眾人眼前擊打他們， 如同擊打惡人一樣。
34:27
ወያነግሥ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ብእሴ ፡ መደልወ ፡ በእንተ ፡ እከየ ፡ ሕዝብ ፡ ዘይብሎ ፡ ለኃያል ፡ ነሣእኩ ፡ ወአልብየ ፡ አኅዝ ።
because they turned away from following him, and wouldn’t pay attention to any of his ways,
因為他們偏行不跟從他， 也不留心他的道，
34:28
አነሂ ፡ ለልየ ፡ እሬኢ ፡ ወእንተኒ ፡ አርእየኒ ፡ እመ ፡ ዐመፃ ፡ ገብርኩ ፡ ወእመ ፡ ተናገርኩ ፡ ሐሰተ ፡ ከመ ፡ ኢይድግም ፡ ተናገሮ ።
so that they caused the cry of the poor to come to him. He heard the cry of the afflicted.
甚至使貧窮人的哀聲達到他那裏； 他也聽了困苦人的哀聲。
34:29
ቦኑ ፡ እምኀቤከ ፡ ነሣእክዋ ፡ ከመ ፡ ትርኀቀኒ ፡ አንተ ፡ እስመ ፡ አንተ ፡ ተኃሪ ፡ ወአኮ ፡ አነ ።
When he gives quietness, who then can condemn? When he hides his face, who then can see him? He is over a nation or a man alike,
他使人安靜，誰能擾亂 呢？ 他掩面，誰能見他呢？ 無論待一國或一人都是如此－
34:30
ወእመቦ ፡ ዘተአምር ፡ ንግር ፡ እስመ ፡ ጠቢባነ ፡ ልብ ፡ ከመዝ ፡ ይብሉ ፡ ወብእሲ ፡ ጠቢብ ፡ ይሰምዓኒ ፡ ቃልየ ።
that the godless man may not reign, that there be no one to ensnare the people.
使不虔敬的人不得作王， 免得有人牢籠百姓。
34:31
ወኢዮብሰ ፡ አኮ ፡ ከመ ፡ ጠቢብ ፡ ዘይትናገር ፡ ወነገሩኒ ፡ ኢኮነ ፡ ከመ ፡ ምሁር ።
“For has any said to God, ‘I am guilty, but I will not offend any more.
有誰對上帝說： 我受了責罰，不再犯罪；
34:32
ወባሕቱ ፡ ተመሀር ፡ ኢዮብ ፡ ወኢተዘውሥእ ፡ እንከ ፡ ከመ ፡ ዓብዳን ።
Teach me that which I don’t see. If I have done iniquity, I will do it no more’?
我所看不明的，求你指教我； 我若作了孽，必不再作？
34:33
ከመ ፡ ኢትወስክ ፡ ዕበደ ፡ በዲበ ፡ ኃጣውኢከ ፡ ወይከውነከ ፡ ጌጋየ ፡ ነቢበ ፡ ብዙኅ ፡ ነገር ፡ ቅድመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
Shall his recompense be as you desire, that you refuse it? For you must choose, and not I. Therefore speak what you know.
他施行報應， 豈要隨你的心願、叫你推辭不受嗎？ 選定的是你，不是我。 你所知道的只管說吧！
