25:1

ወእደ፡ ተናገረ፡ በልዳዶስ፡ አውኬናዊ፡ ወተሰጥወ፡ ወይቤ።

Then Bildad the Shuhite answered,

書亞人比勒達回答說：

25:2

ቀዳሚሁ፡ አኮኑ፡ በኀቤሁ፡ ውእቱ፡ ግርማ፡ ወዘገብረ፡ ኵሎ፡ ዘውስተ፡ አርያም።

“Dominion and fear are with him. He makes peace in his high places.

上帝有治理之權，有威嚴可畏；他在高處施行和平。

25:3

ወአልቦ፡ ዘይመስል፡ ከመቦ፡ ዘይስሕት፡ በኅበ፡ ሰራቂ፡ ወለመኑ፡ ዘኢበጽሐቶ፡ እኪቱ።

Can his armies be counted? On whom does his light not arise?

他的諸軍豈能數算？他的光亮一發，誰不蒙照呢？

25:4

ወእፎ፡ ይከውን፡ ጻድቅ፡ ንጹሐ፡ በቅድመ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወመኑ፡ ዘያነጽሕ፡ ርእሶ፡ ዘተወልደ፡ እምአንስት።

How then can man be just with God? Or how can he who is born of a woman be clean?

這樣在上帝面前，人怎能稱義？婦人所生的怎能潔淨？

25:5

ወርኅኒ፡ ይትኀባእኑ፡ ወኢያበርህኑ፡ ወከዋክብትኒ፡ ኢኮኑ፡ ንጹሐነ፡ በቅድሜሁ፡ ኅድግሰ፡ ሰብአ፡ መዋቴ፡ ወዕፄያተ፡ ወእጓለ፡ እመሕያው፡ በድን።

Behold, even the moon has no brightness, and the stars are not pure in his sight;

在上帝眼前，月亮也無光亮，星宿也不清潔。
